Edward Hanlan (July 12, 1855 – January 4, 1908) was a Canadian professional sculler (rowing). In 1880, he won the World Championship in a race against Australian Edward Trickett.
In 1926, a statue of a mustachioed, shirtless Hanlan, was unveiled on the grounds of the Canadian National Exhibition.

Most F1 fans know the Wall of Champions. It's the wall on the exit of the last chicane on the Canadian F1 track in Montreal. But why is it called Wall of Champions? To find the reason for it we have to go back to the year of 1999, into the race of 1999 to be precisely. Because in this race, the wall got the name Wall of Champions. The story behind it is that in the 1999 race, first Damon Hill, world champion of 1996, crashed his Jordan Mugen-Honda into that wall. Later in the same race Michael Schumacher crashed his Ferrari into the same wall while the world champion of 1994 and 1995 was leading the race.
Just a few laps later, Jacques Villeneuve (World Champion of 1997) also crashed his BAR Supertech into the exact same wall.
And that is why the Wall Of Champions is called Wall Of Champions.
The final card in my tarot series for The Legend of Zelda: Ten Thousand Year Elegy, my Yu-Gi-Oh DM/Zelda BOTW crossover! Éléonore, or Eri for short, is an OC. She's Anzu's close friend and roommate, and a walking Zelda encyclopedia. Eri helps to fill in lore and background for the nerd herd during their adventure (so even if you don't know much about Zelda, it's still pretty easy to keep up with the fic!)
Now that the tarot cards are done, I have a few more art pieces to transfer from my old account to this one. Almost there!
