“Bye Bye,” Jeremy spoke in a baby voice as he said his goodbyes to Elijah. You watched, waiting to take your son from him when he was done. It was Jeremy’s first day back at practice, which, since Elijah was born, would be the longest they had been apart.
“We’ll be okay, won’t we, Eli?” You shook his little hand softly, “Tell Daddy we’ll be okay.” you smiled up at Jeremy, who looked nervous. Elijah babbled his baby talk, whining when he was moved from his dad’s arms and into yours, but quickly settled down.
"I’ll miss you both.” He frowned, leaning in and pecking your lips.
“I’ll miss you, too. And so will Eli, even if he doesn’t know it.” You smiled, leaning up and pecking him back.
“I love you both,”
“We love you, too, Jer.” You sighed, waving Elijah’s little hand as Jeremy picked up his bags. he slung the duffle bag over his shoulder then pressed one more quick kiss to each of your heads before he stared longingly at you and waved.
“Go.” You laughed, pushing him out the door carefully. Once he was gone, you set your plan in motion. You packed your bags and got Elijah situated in the car. You were thankful that he had distracted himself and wasn't screaming his head off.
You transferred him from the car seat to the baby carrier, making sure he was comfortable and warm, making funny faces at him and smiling when he giggled at them.
You greeted the security guards, who peeked into the baby carrier, making his own funny face, and smiled when Eli giggled at him. You decided to take the long way to show Eli around, even though he wouldn't remember or understand anything you were showing him.
You finally made it to the rink and couldn't but smile when you heard all the guys laughing and skating around. You carefully got Eli out of the carrier and pointed out all the guys to him.
Eli's eyes were wide as he took everything in. From the glass to the ice to the skates to the guys, "There's daddy." You pointed across the ice over to the other side of the rink where Jeremy was in front of the net.
Eli followed your hand but no look of recognition crossed his face, which made sense. Eli's attention was quickly taken when Charlie Coyle stopped in front of you and was waving to him. You could tell he was basking in the attention he was getting from the guys because of how big the smile on his face was.
Practice had seemingly halted as all the guys had skated over to say hi, which confused Jeremy. He couldn't tell what was going on from the other end of the ice, so he skated over.
Once he got closer, he finally saw who had distracted everyone. He took off his mask as he skated closer. Once Eli saw his dad, a look of recognition finally crossed his face and he smiled. A path was formed and Jeremy skated through, a smile on his face too.
"Hi, buddy." He beamed, waving and making funny faces at Eli, which sent him into a fit of giggles and laughs which, in turn, made Jeremy smile even bigger.
Eventually, an assistant coach came over and broke up the scene. You watched Jeremy skate backward, a pout on his face as you laughed and waved Eli's hand at him again. You pointed over to the general area where you would be sitting to watch practice and that seemed to brighten his mood.
You stayed for the rest of warmups, which was only about 20 minutes, but Eli fell asleep halfway through and was out. You sat in the bleachers, even after practice was over, waiting for Jeremy to come out.
While you waited, you talked to the security guard who was always by the glass during warmups. He entertained Eli with some funny faces, joked around with you, and showed you pictures of his grandbaby who had been born just a few months before.
Eventually, after about half an hour, Jeremy came out, which you were expecting. What you didn't expect was almost half the team to come out with him. Practically the entire team had come out of the locker room to see Eli.
"They wanted to meet him." He shrugged, setting his bags down and taking the baby from you. You smiled, accepting the hug from a few of the guys. You watched as all the guys fawned over Eli. Your heart warmed at the smile on Jeremy's face as he held Eli and showed him around the circle of guys.
"So, tell us, what's his name?" You broke through into the circle, stood by Jeremy, and smiled.
"His name is Elijah Linus Swayman," Jeremy stated, a proud smile on his face as he looked over at the other goaltender, who was standing there, frozen, as he took everything in.
The guys patted him on the back and cheered for him. Jeremy handed Eli over to you as Linus pulled him in for a hug. When they pulled away, Linus turned to you and pulled you in for a hug, careful not to disturb Eli too much.
"Do you want to hold him?" You asked. The look on his face melted your heart, and once he was ready, you set Eli in his arms. Linus began cooing over the baby and couldn't stop smiling.
Eli eventually went around the circle and each of the guys got to hold him, cooing and fawning over him. While all the guys were busy fawning over your baby, Linus turned to you and Jeremy with a smile on his face.
"Thank you both for this. I'm truly honored." He put a hand to his heart as he spoke, "This is the sweetest thing."
"Well, would you pass out if we asked you to be his godfather too?" Jeremy asked, laughing at the shocked look on his face once again.
"Really?" He asked, his voice squeaky.
"Really." You both nodded, laughing when he quickly pulled you both in for a hug. Eventually, the guys started saying goodbye and began filing out to leave.
You turned to Jeremy when it was just you and him, "This was a nice surprise." Jeremy smiled, setting Eli down in the carrier and wrapping you in a hug, "I wasn't expecting to see you two until after practice."
"Wanted to surprise you." You hummed, looking up at him, "I'm ready to go home." He smiled, kissing your head.
"Let's go home. We'll take your car and I'll catch a ride tomorrow."
"Yeah?" You raised a brow at him, throwing the diaper bag strap over your shoulder while Jeremy did the same with his own bag.
"Yeah. You can sleep on the ride home." He threw an arm around your shoulders while the other pushed the stroller.

dating a rival - j. swayman
Tumblr media
pairing: jeremy swayman x reader | suggestive, a bit smutty | established relationship | wc: 729 | warnings: swearing, dirty talking, sub!jeremy
welcome post!
dating a rival wasn’t easy. when you had to move from north carolina to boston for a job opportunity, being present as a carolina hurricanes fan became impossible. you cheered from the comfort of your home, missing the energy that only raleigh could build at the pnc arena. game day. you were split between your home team and your boyfriend’s performance. the hardest thing to deal was that jeremy couldn’t help being a fucking great goalie. the bruins weren't doing that well, but jeremy blocked every single shot from the opponent. frustrated groans left your mouth the whole game. no water, no pacing around, no hair grabbing were enough to calm you down.
“fuck. jer, why do you have to be so good?” you muttered, answering yourself seconds after, “yeah, that’s what caught my attention in the first place. fuck.”
he texted you as soon as he finished his interview, so you called him.
“hi, baby! congrats on the win, i’m so proud of you for dealing with the canes all by yourself!”
he laughed, knowing how pissed off you probably were for the loss.
“thank you, love. how are you feeling? don’t pretend to be only happy for me.”
“it was a great game, i’m proud of my other goalie too, okay?” you sighed. “you should come over, i’m gonna get us some food. it’s gonna be delivery, though. i have no brain cells left to cook.”
“no plans on poisoning my food?” he joked.
“i have some plans for you, but none of them are deadly.” you bit your lip, trying to contain yourself. lowering your voice, almost as a whisper, you said: “come over.”
jeremy froze on the other side of the line.
“okay. be there soon.”
after dinner, you talked about the game from two different perspectives. it was chill, a moment to catch up as a couple, some laughs and all of that. but deep inside jeremy couldn’t stop thinking about the real reason you’d invited him over. couldn’t stop thinking of having you all over him tonight after this win.
“i can see your thoughts working, jer. do you want to say something else?”
“i was wondering if you, hum, if you had something other than dinner in mind.”
you tilted your head, faking a confusion jeremy didn’t notice because of how nervous he was.
“well, in fact, i was thinking of congratulating you. but i didn’t want to jump right into it.”
jeremy nodded.
“do you want that right now?”
he was trying to put himself together, finding it hard to do such a thing when your eagle eyes were watching him like that.
“tell me what you had in mind.”
you got up from your cuddling position to sit on his lap. with a soft caress on his bearded cheek, you said: “i’m really proud of you. i’m proud of how fucking great you were out there.” you gave him a peck, his eyes didn’t lose focus once. “so, this is how it’s going to be… i’m going to give you everything you deserve, you’ll decide what it is. i’ll give you everything you want, jer, because you worked for it.”
you adjusted yourself on his lap, getting a helpless moan from him. he was gone already.
“i need you to tell me what you want, baby, i need your words.” your voice turned into a whisper as you got close to his ear, leaving soft kisses on the side of his neck. “want me to start by sucking your cock? let you go all the way down my throat? or do you want me to slide over it right now? i could let you come inside, you know? i think it’s a proper special occasion.”
you could feel him hardening. all the talking with soft kisses were leaving his mind blurred.
“jer, i need your words. this time it should be all about you, then in my turn i would get what i deserve. don’t you think that’s fair enough?” you grabbed his chin, facing his fucked up expression.
you waited for his response, noticing his every move. it was fun to have him like this once in a while, you were going to enjoy every step of the long way.
“please, just… just kiss me and we’ll go from there, okay?” he gulped. “just fucking kiss me right now.”

Body and Mind– Trent Frederic
Summary: Trent is more than just a warm body, but he's not sure how to show Alyssa that
Author’s Note: I originally planned for this to be absolutely FILTHY, still some filth but I lost steam. Freddy is the most requested player I've had recently so hope this hit the spot for some of you, I didn't really know him before but love that he's this cute muppet-voiced boy who could also murder someone.
Word Count: 2.3k
Album Series Masterlist

Gettin' my hands dirty while I beat out the kinks
At first, he liked it.
How could he not? When it made him feel so invigorated, blood roaring in his ears like a sold-out crowd at TD Garden.
And it’s not like he hates in now. It’s sex, really good sex at that. But mostly he’s just tired.
Is it too much to ask that Alyssa stays in bed long enough for the sweat to dry? Maybe even cuddle? Maybe talk in bed until they both fall asleep?
Maybe if it’s not too much bypass the sex entirely, watch a movie on the couch, eat a real meal together, leave his apartment.
But he’s too afraid to ask. Afraid he’ll lose her entirely if he brings it up that he wants more than the physical.
So instead, he compartmentalizes. Turns off his mind and lets his body enjoy.
///
Alyssa pushes her way into his place like a heat-seeking missile. Her lips are on his before he can really register her at all. She comes in this way most of the time; it still knocks the wind out of him every time.
“That fight was hot,” she runs a finger over the mostly healed cut on his nose.
Trent doesn’t have time to respond with words because she has a hand down his shorts before he can speak.
She moves kisses down his neck, he can feel his face flush even though his blood is racing in the opposite direction.
“I can’t believe I had to wait two days to do this,” she’s sinking to her knees, yanking his shorts down as she goes, her warm mouth enveloping him in one fluid motion.
“Fuck,” he grits out, he balls his fists to stop from yanking her hair so soon.
Of course, that’s not what she wants.
“Babe, fuck my face,” she says looking up at him, a look so innocent it would be believable if it weren’t for the way she kept stroking his shaft with expert precision.
Trent gingerly threads his fingers through her hair, thinking about asking if she wants to move so her knees won’t be on directly on the hardwood floor.
He doesn’t, because that’s not what she wants.
When he still doesn’t respond like she wants, Alyssa puts her hands over his and tightens his grip, pulls his hands to show him what she wants.
And maybe he should be proactive: tell her to get up so he can carry her to his room, so he can take his time, kiss her with passion instead viciousness, be gentle for once. But he’s weak, especially with her tongue sliding velvety around the head of his dick.
She takes him back into her mouth, a little deeper than before. He tightens he grip in her hair and feels her hum around him, egging him to do more. He gives a few shallow thrusts; she moans as she swallows him down.
“Lys, god,” tugging lightly
She pulls off a line of spit keeps her connected, he lets out a whimper.
“Seriously, really give it to me. I want it,” then she’s back to the task at hand.
He feels himself at the back of her throat and he can’t stop himself from thrusting forward. She gags, but keeps going, nose brushing up against his pelvis.
It’s enough for him to disconnect from his brain entirely, giving into what she wants.
He pulls her head back and forth, almost vindictively. Relishing the sloppy wet sounds and the occasional moan that rips from Alyssa’s throat. It doesn’t take long to send himself over the edge, letting her hair go just as he comes.
She pulls off, some of his come dripping down her chin, she uses a finger to catch it and swallow it down the with rest.
Her mascara is a little runny with tears, he thinks she doesn’t wear waterproof mascara for this exact effect.  She stays on her knees while she catches her breath, looking up to give him a dazed sort of smile.
“Fuck that was good,” her voice is gravelly and Trent thinks he could go again already.
He doesn’t need to say anything because Alyssa is already pulling off her shirt and going towards his bedroom.
///
“Can I order a pizza or is it a no cheat meal night?”
Alyssa is putting her hair up in a ponytail as she looks out the window. She only put her underwear back on and Trent feels a weird sense of domesticity in it, the fact that she’s so comfortable in his space.
“No, um go for it,” he blushes when she turns around and catches him staring, as if they hadn’t just had sex.
“Great, I’m starving,” she goes to retrieve her purse from where she tossed it by the front door.
As she breezes by, he sees the faint marks of his fingers around her neck.
Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if she would have stayed some anonymous girl he hooked up with.
When they first met, Trent was just getting used to having casual sex. He always felt vaguely nauseous with no strings attached, he liked cuddling and kissing with no motives, but learned it didn’t make him a bad person to give into his carnal desires with no intentions of catching feelings.
Then he met Alyssa, who introduced him to rough sex. To pulling hair, to throwing a girl against a wall, or wrapping a hand around her throat. When she first asked him to pull her hair harder, to come on her face, it felt so at odds with everything he had been taught about how to treat women.
Then he got the feeling of letting go, the rush of losing control for just a little bit, the mix of being wild and powerful was addicting. He didn’t know he could feel that way off the ice.
But in between rounds, when Trent cleaned her up with a warm washcloth, or ordered food to refuel, or put ice on the bruises she begged for him to give her, they got to know each other.
And now he wants both, the cuddles, the hair pulling, the kisses, everything.
Alyssa flops on the couch as she scrolls through her phone picking a pizza place. Trent flops down half on top of her, resting his head on her naked breasts. He plants a gentle kiss to her sternum; it’s one of the only times she lets him be soft, when they’re in the limbo between orgasms.
She runs her fingers through his hair as she types. Moving her nails down his neck before gently rubbing his back. He sinks into the sensation, taking a moment to imagine having this after a tough loss. Just two people enjoying each other, no sexual tension.
“How are your niece and nephews doing?” She asks because of course she remembers intimate details about his life even though she seems so blasé about everything outside of the bedroom.
But it gives him another chance to live in his fantasy world, gush about his family, ask Alyssa about hers. Sometimes he can pretend he’s getting his cake and eating it too.
///
It’s a stupid idea, but he’s trying to think positively, hope for the best.
He invites Alyssa to a game, and to go out with them afterwards if they win. She’s not sitting by any of the other partners as far as he knows, but he hopes being around them after a game might make her reconsider their relationship status. That meeting the group he spends most of his time with is a selling point for making a commitment.
He realizes how completely idiotic that thinking is about ten seconds in when Alyssa slips something into his pocket while hugging him congratulations.
He turns beet red trying to shove the black lacy panties deeper into his pockets before anyone else notices.
It doesn’t get better from there.
She leans into him in the corner of a booth and holds his hand. He has a moment of butterflies at the simple intimacy before Alyssa ruins it by moving his hand between her legs. She presses his fingers against her wet folds, like she wants to start the foreplay in front of most of his teammates.
It’s November, she shouldn’t even be wearing a mini-skirt with how cold it is.
“Freddy, you didn’t tell us you had a girlfriend!” Marchy makes smooching noise at the pair.
“We don’t put labels on it, I’m Alyssa,” she’s so casual as she reaches her free hand out to shake the captain’s hand, she lets Trent hand slide a little away, but keeps it high on her bare thigh.
Then she continues to charm the pants off all his teammates all while she subtly moves his fingers over her clit. Edging herself in under the table while casually joking around with his friends above the table.
He should have known she had an exhibitionist streak.
He should have known when he got up for more drinks, she would follow him.
She pulls him away from the bar and drags him down a dim hallway, he’s expecting for her to ask for a quickie in the bathroom, instead she keeps pulling him out a back entrance into a dark alley.
“I want you to throw me up against this wall and fuck me,” she whispers in his ear before giving him a sharp bite on the hinge of his jaw.
There’s a flash of desire that heats up inside him at the request, but he looks around at the dingy, damp alleyway, towards the semi-busy sidewalk at the far end.
“Lys…” he already played a tough game, he doesn’t want to play anymore games tonight, “Anyone could walk out here and see us.”
She steps closer, palms him through his pants; despite his nerves he can’t hide how much she arouses him.
“Then make it quick,” her breath is hot on his face, “I’m already close from before.”
She kisses him softly before roughly biting his bottom lip. Something inside of him roars to life and he throws her up against the bricks, maybe too hard from the way Alyssa grunts but he doesn’t care.
“Atta boy,” she smirks.
He grips her arms harder, shoving her against the wall again. This time with more authority. Her smirk falls away and her mouth hangs open in awe as she looks up at him. He gives her a bruising kiss in response.
He moves his hands down her body before lifting her up, her legs automatically wrap around him, giving him enough leverage to keep her aloft while he opens up his pants and pushes into her. Alyssa gasps in shock, like she hadn’t actually expected him to actually follow through.
It only takes a couple strokes before he feels close, the thrilling fear of getting caught pumping adrenaline through him. He buries his face in Alyssa’s neck and groans as he let’s go.
His arms burn from exertion, after effects of the game earlier, as he lets her slide down the wall.
She tucks his used member back into his pants and zips him up.
She reaches in his pocket and pulls out her panties, slipping them back on in a dirty alley, while his come drips out of her.
“Wow babe, I honestly didn’t think you had it in you for kinky outdoors sex, it was hot.”
He preens a bit at the praise and pet name.
“We should do it again some time.”
And if she asks in the future, he’ll probably do it again, because he’s the weakest man in the world.
///
They had flown back home late the night before and it was optional skate today. After losing three straight, maybe he should want to put the extra work in, but all Trent wants to do is lay in the dark and do nothing.
So of course, that’s when Alyssa shows up unannounced.
She’s sticking her tongue down his throat rather than saying hello or asking how he’s doing.
Alyssa’s been a Bruins fan her whole life, he knows she watched the games. Saw him get high sticked by Trouba, saw them drop another game in a sequence of bad games.
“Aren’t you tired?” He pushes her away.
“We haven’t even done anything”
She moves back towards him but Trent takes a step back, worried if he forcefully makes her stop, it will only spurn her to want more.
“No Lys, aren’t you tired of always pushing and biting and fighting? Don’t you ever want someone to just be gentle with you?” It feels like there’s a rock lodge in his throat, he’s so tired of the aggression all the time.
Confusion crosses her face; Trent can’t quite read if the way she scrunches her brows is a good or bad. He doesn’t even know what kind of response he actually wants to hear at this point.
“No one’s…” her tone is of disbelief, like she’s trying to connect her brain with the rest of her body, make sense of everything she’s ever known, “no one’s ever asked me that.”
“Has anyone ever been gentle with you?”
“That’s not what people want me for.”
Trent’s heart breaks a little, he reaches out and grabs her hand. Alyssa flinches at the contact even though he’s never been so tender with her.
“I want that with you,” he squeezes her hand.
The tension is still taut in her body.
“Don’t get me wrong, I like the slapping and choking and spitting a lot more than I thought I would, but after… I want to hold you. And sometimes that’s all I want to do.”
He pulls her hand up to his lips, kissing it.
“I’d kiss you softly, and take my time with your whole body, and I don’t know, I just want something soft.”
Her eyes are so wide, when she finally looks up at him, the first time he actually believes she might be innocent.
“Show me.”

welcome home, baby
Tumblr media
“Fuck, Jer,” you moaned loudly when you sank down on his hard cock. He groaned just as loudly, finally feeling your soaking wet pussy squeeze around him after days of being gone.
“So good, so wet for me,” Jeremy whispered and latched his lips onto your neck when your head fell back with another moan when he was buried to the hilt. His lips sucked and kissed your skin, bringing you more pleasure as you got used to his cock stretching you. His teeth scraped your neck, eventually biting you ever so softly, but enough to make you yelp and thrust your hips.
Jeremy chuckled lightly and kissed his way back up to your lips. His hands gripped your hips more tightly, urging you to start moving – and you did. Slowly at first, easing him deeper into you. “Fuck,” you moaned, as your nails scratched along his shoulders for stability. Your eyes rolled back as the tip of his cock pressed further than you thought possible. “You’re so deep.”
"Yeah," he panted in agreement, "You’re little pussy is taking me so well."
You started grinding into him faster, lifting your hips slightly, loving the feeling of him slipping back into you so deeply. Jeremy’s hand lifted from your hip and cradled the side of your head when you dropped your forehead against his. “Jer.” His name was just a whisper which he swallowed with a passionate kiss as you kept grinding against him. His thumb swiped your lips aggressively before pushing through them into your mouth. With an appreciative groan, your lips closed around it and sucked, just like you had been sucking on his cock just a few minutes ago.
“Good girl.” His gentleness suddenly vanished with hard slap against your ass. Jeremy moved from the sitting position, keeping you on top of him, so that his back lay flat against the couch cushions. His hands tightly back on your hips helped your movements, up and down, rocking back and forth on his cock, quicker and quicker.
"Oh my god, oh my god," you chanted, "it's s-so good, Jer, it feels so good—"
He bit his lip as he watched you, and you loved how it felt to have those hazel eyes looking up and down your body as you moved. Your hands supported themself on his chest and with every thrust your nails scratched further and deeper into his skin. But when you realized how much you were actually hurting him, you switched to holing onto the couches arm rest. “Don’t.” Jeremy brought your hands back to his chest. “I want you to leave marks.”
So your freshly manicured nails, which Jeremy had paid for, kept digging into his skin, leaving marks. Jeremy bent his knees and without any warning started thrusting into you relentlessly. His hands roamed your body, with one hand ending up in your hair, holding on to a bunch while he kept up his hard thrust into you. You shuddered all over as the curve of his cock rubbed against your sensitive spot aggressively and you broke down against him with a sob.
“Yes! More. Don’t be gentle.” You arched your back and his your face in the crock of his neck, letting the pleasure wash over you as you crept closer to your orgasm.
“So fucking tight,” Jeremy groaned, grunting more filthy words into your ear. “Good girl. You’re such a good girl for me, baby.”
His strong arm swung around your hips holding them in place as his thrusts somehow became faster. Moving faster, you felt the pressure building inside you, pulsing and swelling. But after a few more ruthless thrusts, he stopped and pulled your head up by your hair to meet his lips for a kiss. It was a hungry, dominating kiss, one that made you whine as he tasted all over your tongue and mouth. So close to your orgasm, you started desperately grinding your hips again and you kissed and kissed.
Eventually his hand moved out of your hair and you felt it gently curl around your neck. He didn't let go of your neck, as you kept kissing, but eventually he tightened his grip just enough to make you choke out a raspy moan against his lips, which you felt smirk a moment later.
He pushed you upright, never stopping your rocking movements, and watched as you let out small moans with his hand around your neck and his cock deep inside your pussy. He could feel you clench around him, getting tighter, so he nodded. “Yeah, show me how you make yourself come.”
You really didn’t need much more, but still you started bouncing faster and finally rubbed your clit. Just for him to watch as you chased your high, which hit you in intense waves that seemed never ending.
“You’re so good for me,” he grunted, as his hips started speeding up again, now chasing his own orgasm. Whimpering as he fucked your through your orgasm and straight into another one, you felt your walls bearing down on him as it nearly hit you — the way it was drawn out just made you sure it would build up even stronger and hit you harder.
“I’m gonna come again,” you let out in a small whimper.
“Fuck, yes, baby. Come on my cock,” he grunted, pulling you back into him and therefore slamming into you harder. “I’m so close, too.”
“I want you to come in me.” It turned him on just as much as it did you, so you repeated yourself when his grunts got more desperate and his thrusts more sloppy. “Come in me, Jer. I need it. Need to be so fucking full.”
“Fuck,” he groaned, as he finally reached his high at the same time your second orgasm came crushing in. Your nails dug back into his skin, so deeply, as you felt his cock pulse inside you, heat flooding between your legs and his head falling back onto the couch with the most gorgeous fucked-out look on his face.
"God— oh my god—" Jeremy panted out, still in the post orgasm haze, starting to catch his breath. With your last remaining energy, you lifted yourself just enough to kiss him gently.
“Welcome home, baby.”

I like it
Paring(s): Jeremy Swayman x Fem! Reader Warnings: Fluff!! Smut!! oral (F receiving), fingering, munch Swayman, swearing, nicknames (Good girl, baby, babe), porn with very little plot. (not edited) Summary: Jeremy and you finally have a day of doing nothing. He thinks that it’s a good idea to trim his nice bushy mustache, but you think otherwise.
word count: 932
_________________________________________________
Jeremy was in the shower while you were making breakfast. You're placing the plates on the table you hear him calling you from the bathroom. “Babe,” he yelled out to you.
Placing the plates down on the table, heading to your room to get to the bathroom. When you enter the bathroom, he’s standing looking at himself in the mirror. The towel wrapped around him hanging low on his waist.
“What’s up baby,” you say, confused and a little scared because you don’t know what’s about to happen. He turns to look at you, his finger pointing at his mustache.
“I think I’m going to trim down my mustache,” he says, reaching over to grab the razor of the bathroom counter.
You don’t remember your thought processes, but Your hands move faster than your brain, knocking the razor out of his hand.
“No!” is all you're able to get out. Shock covers his face for a second before his mouth moves into a smile. “Why not,” he asks, amusement very evident on his face.
“I like it,” you whisper out, not looking him in his eyes. He takes a step closer to you. He moves his hand to grab your chin, making you look up at him.
His hair was still wet, water dripping off the ends and falling onto his shoulder then rolling down his chest. “What was that?” your face blushed at his question.
“I said that I like your mustache,” you answer louder, your cheeks turning a dark shade of red.
“Oh, do you now,” he asked in a teasing tone. You nod your head. He leans down giving you a little peck on the lips, turning you around, and tapping you on the butt as a way of telling you to go sit on the bed.
You leave the bathroom and sit down on the edge of the bed. He follows right behind you. He stands right in front of you, your legs on either side of his.
He leans down to kiss you again but this time for longer. Your hands interlock behind his neck pulling him down a little more. He lets out a little laugh at your actions.
“What is it about my mustache that you like,” he asks as he pulls away from you, looking you in your eyes and moving a strand of hair behind your ear.
“I like the feeling of it against me. when you go down on me,” you tell him, making your cheeks blush again.
He slowly gets down onto his knees. Sliding his hands up your thighs. Making the t-shirt that your wearing bunch up around your waist. You had your underwear on under the shirt.
“Lean back for me baby,” he says, hooking his arms around your legs pulling you so half your ass is hanging off the bed.
The second he has you like this he dives right in. immediately his mustache rubs against your skin as he attacks your clit. A moan leaves your mouth.
He keeps sucking and licking making your hands fly to his hair. Jeremy has always been a huge fan of you pulling on his hair. Although he won’t admit it. Your fingers scratching at his head and pulling his hair, he lets out a loud grunt.
The vibrations sending a jolt of pleasure thorough you. He surprises you buy sliding in two fingers.
His mouth and tongue still working on your clit as his fingers quickly find that one spot that makes you scream his name.
“Jer! Please. Fuck your doing so good. Making me feel so good. Don’t stop.” Your voice breathy as you speak. His fingers pick up pace, this makes you start grinding on his face.
The feeling of his mouth on you, the feeling of his facial hair rubbing your skin and his fingers rubbing you sweat spot bring you right to your orgasm.
You let out a moan so loud your pretty sure your neighbors three doors could hear you. “That it. Good girl.” He says, his fingers still working you though your orgasm.
His other hand moved up to rub your clit. “Jer, please it’s too much.” You try moving away from him, but you had no luck.
“you’re going to give me another one. Do you think you could do that for me?” his fingers never stopped moving when he asked. You could already feel your second orgasm building. You nod your head to answer his question, not able to make any sound other than moans.
“I need to hear you, otherwise ill stop.” You were quick to respond. “Yes, please. I can do it. Please don’t stop.” He picks up his speed. Your right on the edge.
“Come on, be a good girl for me. You can do it.” His voice brought you right over the edge. Your eyes rolled to the back of your head as your ears started to ring.
You let out moans that sounded straight out of a porno. Your legs shaking as his fingers slowly working you though your orgasm. “That’s it. Good girl. You did such a good job for me.” He got up to lay down on the bed pulling you up so you’re lying on him.
He kisses your forehead. “How about I go get you a glass of water while you go to that bathroom. Ill also bring the food in here and we can spend the rest of the day in bed.” You nod against his chest. Happy that you have someone who will take care of you the way he does.

Christmas | Jeremy Swayman

Spending Christmas with Jeremy and your family
Tumblr media
Your family always got together on Christmas.
This year, it was at your parents house and your multiple aunts and uncles, your cousins, siblings, grandparents, second cousins, etc. would all be in attendance. Your family treated holidays as if they were a big family reunion and you loved it every single year.
Your eyes flutter open and are met with the early Christmas morning sunlight streaming in through your bedroom window. You turn in Jeremy’s embrace, eyes falling over his soft features. His hair is tousled, sticking up in every direction, his lips resting in a soft smile, the quiet snores escaping through. You lift a hand up, running your thumb over the crest of his cheekbone and tracing the skin there. You watch as Jeremy’s eyes peak open and upon seeing you, his smile grows wider.
“G’mornin,” he murmurs, his voice deeper due to not using it.
“Morning bear,” you greet and he grins at the pet name.
“What time is your family coming?” he asks, pulling you closer towards him, pressing a soft kiss to your cheek and then your lips.
You roll over, grabbing your phone to see it’s almost 10 o’clock. You turn back and face Jeremy who has now pulled a lock of your hair into his fingers and is combing through it delicately.
“Any minute,” you tell him and he smiles but you can tell there’s a hint of anxiety behind his expression.
“It’ll be okay,” you tell him, reaching up to brush your fingers lightly over his chin, forcing him to look at you.
“I know,” he says, moving to press a kiss to the center of your palm.
“Ready?”
You two lounge in bed for a bit longer until you start to hear a commotion downstairs and you can tell that your family members are starting to arrive. You both get out of bed, getting dressed in a comfy but cute style outfit. You’re in the middle of pinning up your hair when Jeremy strides into the bathroom, wrapping his arms around your waist and pushing his face into your neck.
“You look beautiful sugar,” he whispers and his breath against your exposed neck causes a shiver to run down your spine.
You place your hands on his, leaning back into his embrace and letting your eyes flutter shut. Jeremy presses a long kiss to your neck and begins to move his hands so they’re softly massaging your sides.
“Keep doing that and we’ll never make it downstairs,” you warn, sleepiness threatening to take over you.
“They’ll wait,” he whispers, pressing a kiss to the shell of your ear and you grin, but ultimately move away from his touch.
“Come on lover boy.”
You lean on your tiptoes and press a kiss to his lips before walking out of the bathroom with Jeremy on your heels.
The minute you begin to descend the steps, you hear your family members and smile at the rambunctious group crowding your family home. You can’t help the trot you sport heading downstairs excitement running through your veins as you get closer and closer to your cousins.
“(y/n)!” your cousin Abby bounds towards you, tackling you in a tight hug and you reciprocate, screaming her name back out of habit.
“You look so cute!” she gushes, pulling back to look at you and you turn in a circle to show off your Christmas outfit.
“Abs, this is Jeremy,” you step back and take Jeremy’s hand, pulling him towards your best friend and family member.
“Jeremy, the beautiful, wonderful, psychotic, Abigail,” you joke and Abby nudges your side.
“Two out of the three of those things are true,” she grins and tugs Jeremy in for a hug before letting go.
“Who else is here?” you ask when she steps back again.
“Alex, Lindsay, Brad, Aaron, everyone,” she lists with a shrug of her shoulders.
“Already?”
“We’re waiting!!” your mom yells, finally catching onto the fact that you and Jeremy have made your way downstairs.
You roll your eyes but smile as Abby grabs your hand and drags you into the living room. Jeremy follows nervously, wanting to stay back and prepare himself to meet your whole family but never given the chance as he’s thrown right into the whirlwind.
Your Aunt is first to attack, rushing over from her seat to greet Jeremy and welcome him to the family.
“I’m Aunt Judy but you can just call me Judy!!” she greets, pulling Jeremy into a hug and Jeremy casts you a surprised glance that makes you hide a giggle behind your hand.
“Let me introduce you to everyone! You’re so handsome! (y/n) is so lucky my goodness,” your Aunt rambles as she starts to pull Jeremy around the room and you and Abby are a mess of laughter at the sight before you.
“(y/n)!” your older brother Thomas calls and you turn and pull him in for a hug.
“Where’s Ava?” you ask when you pull away and your brother rolls his eyes but smiles and points behind him.
“Aunt (y/n)!” she screams in excitement.
You bend down as she bounds over to you and when she reaches you you pull her up into your arms and swing her around.
“Ava baby!! I missed you!!” you squeal, pressing kisses all over her face making her giggle loudly.
“Ava, do you want to meet someone special?”
“Santa?” she asks and you throw your head back in laughter.
“No baby Santa was already here,” you remind her and she pouts for a moment. “This is someone really special to Aunt (y/n).”
“Who?” she shrieks, whipping around to look at everyone.
You carry her over to where Jeremy is, standing near the Christmas tree and chatting with your dad.
“Ava baby,” you say, taking Jeremy’s hand and calling his attention to your niece.
“This is Uncle Jeremy, my boyfriend,” you explain and Ava grins, hiding her face into your neck for a moment while peeking over at Jeremy with curious eyes.
“Aunt (y/n)?” Ava tries to whisper but fails. “He’s cute.”
“He is, isn’t he?” you say, turning to Jeremy who’s face flushed red at all of the attention on him.
You gesture for Jeremy to follow you, the two of you taking seats on one of the open couches and Ava snuggles up to you on your lap.
“Uncle Jeremy? How old are you?” Ava asks, feeling bolder now that she’s close to you.
“I’m 25,” he says, leaning in and smiling widely at the young girl.
“What do you do for a living?”
“I play hockey,” he tells her.
Ava continues to ask Jeremy question after question and he answers them with ease. At some point, Ava has moved off of your lap and into Jeremy’s. He bounces her on his legs, answering questions and playing games, generally keeping the young child entertained.
You watch the scene with huge heart eyes for your boyfriend. Ava was smitten the second she laid eyes on Jeremy and you can’t say you blame her. Jeremy was your whole world, you couldn’t help but imagine a future where this was your daughter instead, where you and Jeremy are married, where Christmas is hosted at your house instead.
“You okay?” Jeremy asks, finally noticing your stare.
“Just love you that’s all,” you murmur and Jeremy leans in and presses a kiss to your lips.
“Love you more.”
You spend the rest of your Christmas with your family, opening presents, watching movies, and enjoying your time with the people you love the most.

Honestly, I'd really love it if you have like a Jeremy Swayman audio cause he's slowly converting me to a Bruins fan and he is SO SO HOT OMG
I hear from the kids this man is all over hockey tiktok. I will always have a soft spot for goalies.
As a long-suffering Canucks fan I was ready to hate the Bruins too but then I accidentally found myself watching videos of Pasta being hilarious. Best of luck for the Bruins going against the Leafs.

grant me easiness and i'll give you everything (it's only fair) | jeremy swayman
Tumblr media
what I feel about him is alarming and frighting and yap yap yap. hope you like!
Whoever claimed to enjoy airports had clearly never been an Uber driver.
Sure; the money was significantly better than a normal ride—but the traffic? And the poor temperament? And the confusing lanes? It made you question if it was even worth the money.
But there were bills to pay, so you added tonight to the list of nights you ended up at the rideshare terminal of the airport.
You knew by now that flights usually got in on the 10s (7:10, 8:10, etc), so people would have collected their luggage and made their way to ride shares by the 35s (give or take). Glancing at the dash cam, you read 9:32. As if on cue, your phone pinged with a few alerts.
Typically, you’d choose the one that offered the most money. But it had been a long night, with a lot of rides, and had made enough to finish a bit early. So you picked the one that would put you closest to home. And it happened to be Jeremy, who wanted to end up at a brownstone around 7 minutes from your building.
And you waited.
Just for a minute or two before a knock on the back window stirred you from completely zoning out. Instinctively, you unlocked the car and a body slid into the back seat.
“Jeremy?” You confirmed, not bothering to look back.
“How do you know that?” A cheery voice forced your hand, made you make eye contact with him in the mirror. Mistake.
“Are you Jeremy or not?” You were paid to drive, not indulge lazy jokes. Still, his kind eyes didn’t waver.
“Just messin,” he looked out the window and mockingly placed a light touch to the window. Despite yourself, you tracked the movement, watching his hands (his large, large hands). Mistake. “Driver, take me home.” He sighed a wistful sigh, and even though you didn’t want to, a small smile found its way to your face. Putting on the turn signal, you merged into the departure lane and turned up the stereo.
Checking your blindspot, you pulled onto the freeway—traffic was awful so it would be a long ride despite the short mileage.
“Temperature okay?” You asked politely, following your script.
“Just right!” You could hear the smile in his voice, even though you refused to look at him again.
“Music alright?”
“My favorite!” You raised an eyebrow at his response—top 40 radio was no one’s favorite. But that was your last question that usually made riders feel heard enough to give 5 stars. Slightly relieved (as always), you settled in for the drive.
Usually you spent the time working through a problem in your head, really getting into the whys and hows of something that was bothering you. One of your friends was being distant, so you started there. She had started this behavior about a month ago, so that could mean that—
“I flew in from Alaska,” that cheery voice interrupted your internal monologue completely.
“That’s nice,” your reply was non-committal. You didn’t usually talk to riders that much. Didn’t plan on making it a habit.
“Yup!” He popped the p sound. “I’m from there, and I was visiting my family. It was awesome—I really miss them when I’m here for a long time.”
“Nice.” You were out of practice making small talk with a new person (to put it lightly). He just nodded—the only indication being the sound of fabric moving around his neck as he did so.
“So, where are you from?” He leaned forward in his seat, as if genuinely interested—as if knowing where this stranger grew up was a seriously important part of his night.
“I don’t have to talk to riders just because,” you cringed at how mean you sounded. He didn’t even deflate a little, just leaned back and laughed a slightly weird laugh.
“Fair enough,” his tone made you wonder if he was always this happy, this unphased.
And then the music filled the space as much as your stale air freshener did—even if the air was tinged with a bit of guilt on your part.
“I can feel you looking at me,” your eyes darted to him again in the mirror. Brown eyes forgiving and kind and very, very cute.
“Not tryna hide it.” It could’ve been taken as flirting, but you had the impression that he was just like this with everyone. Still, it warmed your cheeks just a little bit. “I’ve just never had such a pretty Uber driver,” and then a moment later, “well, a pretty one that’s my age, I mean.”
You laughed, despite yourself. “Pining after older women are ya?” He smiled easily, and it definitely was for him—easy.
“Look at this face and tell me I’m not a cougar's dream,” he laughed loudly. You didn’t look back for safety reasons (and convinced yourself that was the only reason). He leaned forward again. “I like it though,” his words felt like an admission, even if he didn’t lower his voice. Everything about him just felt—genuine? In a way that made every breath feel like a secret. “Makes me feel like I have a hot girlfriend who likes me enough to pick me up at the airport.”
You scoffed. If he wanted a hot girlfriend, it definitely wouldn’t be hard—not with his easy charm and pretty face. “I’m only here because I’m being paid.” You hesitated. “And there’s no way you don’t have someone who likes you enough to brave the traffic.”
You could sense his delight through your headrest. “Oh yeah I do,” he looked out the window again, “I have the best friends in the entire world. They were just busy tonight.” He sighed as if the idea of his friends was as good as having them in the seat next to him. It was quiet for a moment. “But no girlfriend, if that’s what you’re asking.”
“I wasn’t asking,” your tone was blunt, but you couldn’t help but smile. He laughed his weird, goofy laugh.
“Call me a romantic,” he addressed you by name—something you typically didn’t like from patrons in your backseat—but it felt different with him. “But I want that—someone who wants to be the first person to see you when you get back, who can’t even wait to kiss you even if it’s in front of a whole terminal.”
“Sounds like you’ve been watching too many rom coms,” but that suddenly felt unkind to such a gentle man, so then a moment later, “I hope you find that.”
“I will,” he seemed absolutely sure. “Oh shoot,” he raised his fists to the sky mockingly. “My phone died. Curses!”
“I have a charger,” you looked around for the cord while still keeping an eye on the road. He stayed quiet for a moment, considering.
“No, I have an android,” he quickly put his phone in his front pocket, eyes squinting with trouble. Trouble that made you think that he definitely didn’t have an android. “Oh wait! I have an idea!” He completely over-sold his facial expressions, making you question where he was going with this little scheme.
“And what would that be?” your tone was dry, eyes still on the road as you took the exit off the freeway, only a few minutes from his destination.
“So I can give you your rightfully earned tip!” He reasoned, “you can give me your phone number so I can send you money once I get my phone charged.” You could feel his hopeful gaze on you, like his plan was the most logical course of action ever spoken.
Logistically, it made no sense. You could tip an Uber days after your ride. “And what—you’ll just remember my number until then?” For some reason that was the first question you asked.
He nodded, serious as you’d seen him. “Of course,” he said incredulously, “I remember important stuff.”
And it didn’t make any sense. And you could’ve said no. And this was probably against some sort of employer code. And he was definitely this charming with everyone. But he looked so endearing and hopeful and there was something very good about him. Something right.
So you rattled off your number, and he mouthed each number after you said it. And you believed him that he would remember it.
And you believed him as he opened the door to leave, wishing you a good night. And you believed him as he waved from the top step. And as he opened the door and turned around for one more look, mouthing goodbye.
Despite yourself, you believed him.
Your bed was heaven after a long stint in the car. Practically asleep before your head hit the covers, a notification sounded from your phone.
A message from an unrecognized number was the last thing you saw before sleep.
From: unknown
Sent $50
And then a moment later, after you saved his contact.
From: Jeremy
Any interest in meeting me at Dunkin on Tuesday morning?
You went to sleep smiling. He remembered.
You agreed to meet him early—you typically liked to start driving before 11 and he had morning skate.
The sun had just risen as you walked to a Dunkin about halfway between you and him, bundled up in a puffer jacket and a toque. The bell jingled above the door as you entered, blowing warm air into your hands. It was freezing out.
You didn’t even have time to glance around and look for him before a tall, broad body in a black coat walked up to you and held out his arms for a hug. And then you weren’t freezing anymore. Not even a little bit.
He released you with a smile, linking your arms together and pulling you into line. “What do you usually get?” You asked, convincing yourself that you certainly were not leaning into his side. Definitely not.
He peered down at you, tucked into his side, nose red from the cold. “Whatever looks good,” he admitted, “usually the thing with the most cream and sugar.”
You laughed—even if you didn’t really know him, the idea that he didn’t have an order, that he just let himself enjoy whatever he wanted (even if it had a ton of sugar), that seemed very him.
“I’ll get that too,” you definitely snuggled into his side more, but maybe it was so you didn’t have to face his genuine smile so head on. Maybe?
And so he ordered for you both, but not before complimenting the teenage cashier’s pride pin and asking what his favorite donut was.
“Dunno,” the kid had braces and posture that seemed to shrink in on itself, and was clearly not used to anything beyond what can I get for you, “sprinkle looks pretty good today.”
“Then two of those too,” he put the spare change (and a five) in the glass tip jar. “Thanks brother,” he put out his knuckles for a fist bump. The kid tapped his fist lightly to Jeremy’s, completely won over.
Like a puppy, he quickly found something else to entertain himself with while you waited. “We almost have matching jackets!” He gestured to his black north face and your navy one. You pulled a face—how could he find such delight in everything?
“I guess?” You pinched your face together. He didn’t mind.
“Very couple-y of us,” he put his hands up at the look you shot him. “I had to say it,” He shook his head like it was obvious. And it was so cute you didn’t give him a hard time about it.
“Thanks for paying,” you directed the subject elsewhere, “you didn’t have to do that.” He shrugged, eyes fixed on your drinks as the barista (are they called baristas at Dunkin??) set down two identically light and sweet drinks.
“My pleasure,” he grabbed the bag with two sprinkle donuts inside.
“I’ll send you my share,” you made to grab your phone from your pocket. His hand over yours stilled the movement entirely, warmth emanating from his palm.
“You got it next time,” he shrugged—like obviously there would be a next time. And you believed him, hand now interlaced with his.
“I know it’s bad for me,” he groaned as he took a sip, “but it’s actually the best thing I’ve ever tasted.” A completely innocent line, but it felt dirty as he said it. Or maybe you were just losing it over how his thumb moved over yours.
“Oh,” you responded quietly, taking a sip of yours. Total sugar bomb. “Well you’ll work it off anyways in practice I’m sure,” you fumbled over your words just a little bit. He seemed amused. “Like, looking at you, I’d never guess you have a sweet tooth,” you said, even though there was absolutely no reason to keep talking. He titled his head in delight. “Because you look totally in shape—you look, great. Yeah.” A true example of vocal mastery was on display tonight.
He took a bite of donut, his white teeth a sight so intimate it made you blush. He hummed while chewing, nodding. “Oh yeah? I’m not sure why you mean…should we keep talking about how hot I look?” He joked before pulling a very embarrassed you into his side and out into the chilly air. It didn’t feel as cold with his hand around yours though.
You laughed an embarrassed laugh. “Easy, you big dope, I was trying to be nice.” He laughed into your toque, head on top of yours.
“I know, I know.” And then he went into talking about how he wasn’t a fan of Dunkin before moving to New England and now he was addicted. And you just listened, toasty from humiliation and content as he walked you home, hand covering yours.
You offered to pick him up from practice later in the week (he had asked you to come to a home game, but you weren’t quite ready for that yet). He was right on time, waving an animated wave as he walked out the door with a few teammates.
You waved back (a bit more timid in the presence of his friends), and turned to que up your next song. He knocked lightly on the window, and you rolled it down. He was bent over, face in the window as he glanced toward the backseat.
“Want to meet my friends?” He asked politely, clearly excited.
You hesitated, which made him continue. “No pressure at all. If you don’t want to, I can hop in the backseat and we can pretend you’re my Uber driver again,” he smiled a grin that was so genuinely happy it made you less nervous. You turned off the engine.
“No way,” you unbuckled your seatbelt. “I wanna meet ‘em.” You opened the door and shut it softly behind you, wrapping your arms around yourself instinctively. He pumped his fist.
“Let’s go!” He seemed overjoyed. It was quite possibly the sweetest reaction to such a nothing event. You rolled your eyes, but let him pull you in front of him, large hands rested on your shoulders, steering you to face his two teammates.
He introduced you to them both (they were sweet, but there was something on their face that made you unsure if they were making fun of you or jeremy–or both–or no one). But listening to them banter back and forth while you stood pressed to the front of him made you realize that they just joked around like that.
Jeremy was usually the punchline–but he didn’t mind. He was easy to laugh, easier to smile, and made a point of pulling you impossibly closer to him. If his friends noticed, they didn’t say anything.
But then the fact that they didn’t say anything made you wonder just how many people he had introduced to his friends. Maybe they were having a non-reaction because they were so used to it? You stiffened slightly under his hands.
And he must’ve felt it, because he placed a feather-light kiss to your hair–which did pull a reaction from his boys.
“If you’re around on new year’s, we’re throwing something and you are obviously invited,” one of them nodded towards you, eyes a little wide.
“Obviously?” You questioned, but felt far more comfortable than a moment ago. The taller one laughed, eyes flickering to Jeremy’s briefly.
“Obviously,” he confirmed. “You think this is our first time hearing about you?” He shook his head, clapping the shorter one on the back. “Sway here wouldn’t shut up about you. If you didn’t respond to his text he was going to make us call every Uber in Boston until one of us got you as a driver.”
You hit his chest as you turned around. “You goof,” you meant to say–but the words died on your tongue when your eyes met his–so full of genuine enjoyment and content that it warmed you from the inside out. You turned toward them again, waving goodbye.
“I’ll see you on new year’s then.”
“Nice to meet you,” they parroted, smirking at Jeremy. “We’ll see ya sway.” He waved and let you pull him into the passenger seat.
“I like your friends,” you rubbed your hands together and blew on them. He smiled a radiant smile.
“You’ll love the rest of the guys,” he pulled your free hand into his lap, both palms wrapped around it, warming you right up. You drove the rest of the way home with one hand so he could keep a grip on you. He gave you a play-by-play of practice (which drills he did best on, what made him laugh the most, what he wanted to focus on for the next game), only coming up for air once.
“I really like you,” he said earnestly, as matter-of-factly as when he spoke about drills. It made you shake your head.
“Obviously I like you too,” the words felt good to be out–like you didn’t realize how true they were until you said them aloud.
He brought your hand to his lips and pressed a chaste kiss to your knuckles. “Obviously?” You could feel his smile on the back of your hand.
“It's, like, impossible not to.” You pulled in front of his building, putting the car in park. Meaning to pull your hand back from him–a little embarrassed–but didn’t even make it over the console before he crushed you in a hug over the center console. The steering wheel dug into your side, nose crushed into his chest, hair static-y all over his puffer. But you couldn’t bring yourself to back out of it–arms rubbing circles against the back of his coat.
You had no idea how much time had passed when he pulled back, grabbed his bag from the trunk, and walked up to the front door. It was probably the longest he had gone without talking around you. But you didn’t mind. You liked him when he talked, when he didn’t, when he smiled, when he breathed.
You smiled all the way home.
You agreed to walk to the new year’s eve party together. It was just far enough away for you to prepare to meet more of the people from his world and hear about his last couple road games. Just hearing him talk made your nerves melt away.
He insisted on meeting on your doorstep, however, even though it added 10 minutes to his walk. He texted when he was on his way.
From: J
Be there in a few!
From: you
You need my address?
From: J
Course not.
And then.
I remember important stuff.
You went in for a hug as you opened the door–a new part of your routine.
“Hey,” your greeting was muffled into his puffer. His navy?? Puffer. One identical to your own. You thumbed the material and glanced up at him. “Nice coat?” You raised your eyebrows.
He laughed loudly, tipping his head back. “I wanted to match.” The way he said it made it feel obvious–tone like a noncommittal shrug. Like why wouldn’t he want to match?
The ease of the gesture was lovely. He was lovely. “Well then,” you linked your arm with his, setting off down the stairs and onto the sidewalk, “it is an honor to match with you tonight.”
He let a grin brighten his face. “You smell really good,” he breathed into your hair. “Like you always do. And I like the glitter you have–” He ghosted a thumb over your brow bone, “here.”
And the loveliness haunted you the entire walk over, conversation easy and light. He was so open, so kind, in a way that eased openness and kindness from you as well.
So the night was much better than you had expected. It felt natural to meet his friends, his teammates, their wives, their kids. It didn’t feel like being thrust into a brand new world. It just felt like natural–like getting another piece of Jeremy was a privilege.
And you didn’t feel out of place with how enamored you were with him–everyone here clearly was. He was the heartbeat of this group of people–and you felt lucky to watch him light up the room. And a little part of you felt proud that you were here with him.
The one who everyone wanted to be around–he wanted to be here with you.
“You’re too nice for him,” another new face laughed as he clapped Jeremy on the shoulder, looking down at you.
“Too nice?” You glanced at the palm resting over your stomach. Possibly the most gentle, kind touch you had experienced. How could anyone be too nice for that? “For him?” Your voice raised with confusion.
The young guy in front of you raised his eyebrows at the man behind you. “He didn’t tell you?” His smile was all trouble. “Our boy Sway likes to be a little roughed up,” he laughed at your blush, hidden by you turning around to gape at Jeremy. To wait for a rebuttal.
But it never came. He just laughed good-naturedly and hugged you into his chest. “Hey now, don’t scare her away!” He looked down at you, squeezed tight against his chest. “Lucky to have her here at all.” His smile was just for you.
And so you smiled and let yourself half forget about that comment. Met some more people. Drank some more wine. Smiled a lot.
But you couldn’t forget it entirely.
Some time later, he beckoned you over to where he sat on the couch. You finished up chatting with some of the women and made your way to him.
“Hey,” you stood in between his legs before he pulled you down to sit on one of his thighs with a thud. You felt him sigh into your hair as you leaned back so your head rested on his shoulder, hands reaching around the play with his fingers. He was solid and warm.
“Hey,” if you had to put money on it–you’d bet he was smiling. “Thanks for being a champ about this–they can be a lot.” You traced a nail over the outline of his hand. “But they’re important to me, so it makes me happy that they get to meet you.”
As intimate as a secret, spoken lowly in your ear. As secure as a fact, warming your chest.
“I like them,” you thought for a moment. “Even if they think I’m too nice.”
He rolled his eyes. “They’re just giving you a hard time. It’s a long story.”
You raised your eyebrows. “You can tell me if you want.” You could feel his chest rise and fall under your back.
“When I first signed, I showed up to practice all beat up once. Bruises, all that nonsense.” His eyes shone as he retold the story–like the emotions were just as fresh as they had been.  “Told everyone I walked into a doorway–or something stupid like that. In the locker room later, everyone saw the marks this girl had left all over me.” He indicated scratch marks over where you lay on his chest. “All on my back and my neck and stuff. Never heard the end of it–how doors are really fighting back now and all that.” You just listened. “So yeah, they give me a hard time about it. But it’s no big deal–I didn’t want them to scare you or anything. If you’re not into that, don’t worry.”
He ducked his head into the crook of your shoulder, kissing behind your ear. You shivered, trying not to wiggle too much over his lap. Tilting your head towards him, you let your voice drop so only he could hear. “I’m into that.” His eyes went wide. “And I’m into you, so I can still be nice.”
He gulped audibly, making you smirk. “Like, I can be nice and tell you that you’re so good.” His face was as serious as you’d seen him. “Makes me wonder if you’d be so good for me.”
He nodded before he knew what he was nodding at, grip tight around you. “I would be.” His voice was clipped. “I’d be so good for you.”
You nodded back, chest on fire. You believed him.
You let your cheek rest against his sweater, eyes peering up at him–slightly flushed from the party and eyes a little tired. It had to be close to midnight.
As if on cue, the countdown began from the tv. Every voice in the room chanted along…10, 9, 8…but you almost didn’t hear them. Too busy looking at Jeremy. 7, 6, 5. You turned so your legs swung off the couch, sideways in his lap.
“I’ve never had a New Year’s kiss,” he whispered, holding you upright against him. “Like a real one. Not just a friend or something.” 4, 3. You pulled him so close you could see the shine of his lip from his drink, feel the sweat on the back of his neck from his sweater.
2. 1. “Glad to be your first or something,” you grinned into the kiss, teeth knocking against his. He laughed a breathy laugh into your mouth, free hand palming the back of your head. His chest rose and fell next to yours, making you pull back.
“I’m so happy it’s you,” he admitted–probably the most embarrassed you’d seen him. You ran your hands through his hair, settling against his chest so he could put his chin atop your head.
You believed him.
...
happy new year! Love ya

Forbidden things |Jeremy Swayman|
Tumblr media
Summary: it’s all star weekend, and Mitch thinks his sister ,Mackenzie, is there to support him and his teammates, but she has a secret.
Warning: a little spicy but not too much
Note: second post WOOHOO.
Tumblr media
Isn’t tsa and plane rides just the best……..said nobody ever. Mackie arrived in Toronto after her two hour flight and wanted nothing more than to relax and eat. But of course her brother had other plans.
“MACKIE!!!!” Mitch pulls his little sister into the biggest bear hug he could muster. “I missed you so much.”
“Mitchy I love you, but you are going to crush me.” Mitch laughs as he lets her go. She can now see that Steph (Mitch’s wife) is standing behind Mitch. When she see Steph, she excitedly hugs her, just not as intensely as Mitch’s hug. “Oh thank goodness you’re here Steph. I couldn’t handle this idiot without you.”
“Boston has made you mean.” Mitch pouts causing both Steph and Mackie to laugh.
After they drop off all of Mackie’s stuff at Mitch’s house, Steph starts making dinner. Mackie tried helping, but her sister in law simply banned her from the kitchen insisting that since Mackie spends all of her time in the kitchen, she will not cook a single thing while she’s in Toronto. Mitch does help cook, Mackie sits at the counter while they cook for her.
The three of them talk and catch up while the food cooks until Mackie gets a text.
From Jer 💕
Just landed sweet girl. It’s only been 3 hours, but I already miss you.
Mackie smiles at her boyfriend’s text and of course that catches Mitch’s attention. Who grabs his sister ‘s phone before she can text back.
“Who’s this Jer guy and why did you put a heart next to his name?” Mackie tries to get her phone back but Mitch just lifts up the phone so she can’t reach it.
“Just some guy I met at the restaurant, come on Mitchy give me my phone back.” Steph sends Mitch a glare causing him to give Mackie her phone. “I didn’t want to tell you anything till things got more serious.”
“You are too young to be dating boys.” He pouts as Steph tells him to hand Mackie her phone back.
“Mitch baby she’s only one year younger than we were when we got engaged.” Steph kisses her pouty husband before turning back to Mackie, “When you are ready to introduce us to this Jer I bet they are a great person.”
Mackie was so grateful that Steph wasn’t a crazy person and supported her when Mitch got overwhelming.
The couple soon finished cooking and they all talked some more while eating before deciding to go to bed early in preparation for the all stars tomorrow.
Tumblr media
For the most part, Mackie spent her time with her family, which was her mom, dad, older brother Chris and Steph. It was also really refreshing to see all of Mitch’s teammates. Austin especially was like a third older brother.
“Mini Marner!” Auston pulls Mackie into a similar hug that Mitch gave her yesterday, except Auston knew when to let go. “Have you met Biebs yet?”
Mitch and Chris smirk knowing that Mackie had a huge crush on him as a kid. But they are both surprised when Mackie greeted Justin like normal no fluster or fan girl behavior.
“It was nice seeing all of you but I have to run to the bathroom.” Mackie runs off out of the sight of her family and friends, and starts walking in the direction of the bathroom, until she is pulled into an empty room.
The person who pulled her into the broom closet, wastes no time and start to kiss all Mackie all over her face. She can tell just by his cologne that it was Jeremy.
“Oh I’ve missed you so much.” He finally pulls her into the long awaited kiss, which doesn’t last nearly as long as Jeremy wanted since Mackie pulls away.
“Jer we shouldn’t be doing this where anyone can see us.” She whines as Jeremy rolls his eyes.
“Nobody’s coming over here any time soon baby girl.” Jeremy pulls her back into a kiss which she can’t help but smile into and kiss him back, “That’s my good girl.”
The two continue kissing until Mackie receives a phone call. Of course it was Mitch.
“Just let it ring.” Jeremy says while attaching his lips to her neck.
“He’ll send a search party if I don’t answer Jer.” Jeremy just nods and he continues to kiss Mack’s neck. “Yes Mitch?”
“Did you get lost on the way to the bathroom?” She can hear Mitch’s worry through the phone.
“No Mitch there is a line.” While talking to Mitch, Mackie has to slightly push Jeremy away from her neck to avoid getting any marks on her neck. “I’ll be back soon enough okay.”
“Do you want Steph to come and wait with you so you aren’t alone?”
“I’m fine Mitch I’m 23 I don’t need a baby sitter to use the restroom.” Jeremy ,who wants Mackie’s attention again ,starts to play with her hair, “I’ll be back soon okay, yes I’ll call you if I need you.”
After Mitch hangs up, Mackie gives Jeremy one last kiss before she pulls out her contact mirror to fix her hair. But she does not like what she sees on her neck.
“Jeremy those better not be hickeys.” He looks at her neck and laughs, “Jer it’s not funny. Are you trying to get me killed?”
“They aren’t that noticeable just put your jacket on and you’ll be fine.” He kisses her forehead as she sends him an angry yet playful glare.
Luckily, for both of their sakes, the jacket was enough to cover the hickeys for the time being.
Tumblr media
The next day however, the hickeys became an issue. Mitch left earlier than Steph and Mackie to get ready for the skill challenges. So he was not there when Mackie got out of the shower and saw that her hickeys had darkened. And unfortunately her outfit she had planned for today wouldn’t do much to hide them. She had to pull out the big guns, running to her sister.
After getting dressed, she sticks her head into Steph’s room where she is putting her makeup on.
“Steph I need your help.” Steph turns and gives Mackie a welcoming smile, “but you can’t tell anyone, especially not Mitchy.”
“My lips are seals.” Steph does the ‘zipped lips’ motion and waves her in, “If you are asking for my help killing someone it might be hard to hide that from your brother.”
Mackie sighs before entering the room fully. Her neck on display, Steph can’t help but laugh.
“How the hell did you hide those yesterday?” She says while laughing.
“Well I didn’t have them all day yesterday.” Steph gives her a confused look. “Remember when I went to the restroom and said that there was a line.”
Steph nods inviting Mackie to continue.
“Well there wasn’t a line, I never made it to the bathroom.” Mackie avoids eye contact while she plays with the bottom of her shirt. “I was with my boyfriend, Jer, Jeremy Swayman.”
Mackie is ready for Steph to be upset , but she just starts to laugh again.
“I’m sorry, I should be taking this more seriously, but the irony of this all is to die for.” Her laughter finally dies down and she puts her hand on Mackie’s shoulder. “I help you cover them up, but you should really tell Mitch. The longer you wait the worse it will be.”
Steph pulls Mackie into her chair and covers up the marks perfectly.
“You are a life saver again Steph.” Mackie looks into the mirror and her marks aren’t visible at all.
“Next time though make sure Jeremy takes it down a notch.” Steph puts all of her makeup in her bag.
“This is him taking down a notch.”
Tumblr media
Once they arrived at the arena, Mackie got a text from Jeremy asking her to meet in the same spot as yesterday. She tells Steph where she is going and Steph warns her not to ruin her hard work. She gets to the closet and when she opens the door Jeremy is already there sitting down on the random chair.
“I got 20 minutes til I need to be in the locker room.” Mackie closes the door behind her and she is pulled into a kiss. She straddles his lap and he wastes no time running his hands under her Maple leafs jersey. “I need you baby.”
The two lose themselves in each other, so they don’t notice the door has been open.
“What the actual fuck?” Mackie tears herself off of Jeremy and quickly fixes her shirt before she looks up and sees Auston and Mitch.
“You are a deadman Swayman.” Mitch starts going towards Jeremy, but Mackie stands in front of him. “Mackie move.”
“Mitch please hear me out.” Mitch finally looks at Mackie and his look of angry shifted to a hurt look.
“You could have dated anyone else, Jesus I would have been fine with one of the damn Hughes brothers, but a bruins player? And on top of that you picked this asshole?” Mackie feels small as her brother yells at her.
“Hey I get that you are upset, but I won’t stand here and let you yell at her.” Jeremy stands next to Mackie slightly moving her out of the way.
“Oh it’s definitely not her I’m mad at.” Mitch pushes Jeremy
“Mitch dude maybe you should hear them out.” Auston pull Mitch away before he could make any bad decisions. Mitch sighs and calms down a bit.
“You guys have five minutes to convince me not to beat his ass.”
In a panic, Mackie decided to tell Mitch everything.
“I met Jeremy once I got back from your wedding last year. After I saw everyone,it reminded me how lonely I felt back in Boston. I couldn’t just leave, I worked to hard to get where I am. So Maddie recommended I went on a blind date. So she set us up and I didn’t even recognize him at first. Mitch remember how you called me the day you met Steph telling me how you met the one. I called you crazy cause you can’t find the one after meeting someone once, but then I met Jeremy. He’s my one Mitchy.” At this point Mackie was crying and Jeremy held her hand to calm her nerves. “I wanted to tell you I really did, but I couldn’t stand the idea of you not liking Jeremy or worse hating me.”
Mitch pulls Mackie into a hug, not as tight as the one from the airport, but this hug carried more weight.
“I could never hate you Mackie.” Mitch says while he rest his chin on top of her head. The siblings hug for a good minute before pulling away.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner.” Mitch shakes his head as he wipes her tears.
“I’m not mad, although I do wish I didn’t find you guys nearly fucking to find out.” Jeremy laughs causing Mitch and Auston to give him a warning glare. “You are 23 and I have to trust your instincts. So if you say he’s the one then I support you guys. But if you do anything to hurt her Swayman, you will be a deadman.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it.” Now Jer is softly rubbing Mackie’s back to comfort her. “I love her probably way more than she loves me. I’m crazy for Mackie and you could beat me 100 times over, I’ll still be crazy for her.”
“I can’t believe I’m saying this ,but I would like you to join us for dinner Jeremy.” Mitch sticks his hand out to Jeremy and he accepts and they shake hands. “Be prepared though, my wife is going to be more viscous than I was. Mackie is her baby.”
“Actually Steph already knows. I told her this morning.” Mitch being the drama queen he is, pretends as if he was stabbed.
“The hurt the betrayal. My sister and my wife teaming up without me.” Mackie rolls her eyes and playfully pushes Mitch while she pulls Jeremy out of the closet.
“Since the secret is out, I can kiss you where ever I want.” Jeremy goes in for a kiss, but instead I met with a hand in between him and Mackie’s lips.
“No way hot shot, just cause Mitch says you guys are cool doesn’t mean we want to see you kiss Mackie.” Austin removes his hand and pulls Mack into a protective hold.
Jeremy gives Mackie the puppy dog eyes look ,causing her to laugh. She wiggles out of Auston’s hold and kisses Jeremy’s check.
“You three should go head in the locker room to change.” Mackie hug Auston and Mitch who leaves to the locker room together. When they are out of sight she pulls Jeremy down for a real kiss. “I love you Jer.”
“I love you too Mackie.” He hesitantly lets go. But they keep eye contact.
“Now go be the best damn goalie on that ice.” She points towards the locker room and Jeremy can’t help but smile. He gives her a quick kiss goodbye before leaving to the the locker room.

The chill evening breeze swept past her, causing goosebumps to appear on her skin, despite being huddled in the warmth of her friends as they walked down the street.
Their laughter rang in the air, sounds of a memory being engraved in her mind, and she could feel the thumping of the music in the bar in her chest. Her dress sparkled under the neon entrance light, alluring and perfect in all the right places.
As they all entered the bar, the stench of alcohol and all sorts of cologne and perfumes stung her nose bitterly, unfamiliar and strange for her normality.
Her friends told her something along the lines of heading to the dance floor, but she shook her head and settled to sit at the bar for a drink or two, but she promised them that she would follow suit later.
Waving their goodbyes for a temporary departure, she turned her focus to the bartender in front of her, making her order of choice, a dirty Shirley for nostalgia’s sake. Shortly after less than a minute, her drink was in front of her, the crimson color of the cherries floating around.
It tasted just like how she remembered, just a little more sharp this time, and a satisfied smile appeared on her face.
“What’s got you all dopey, angel?”
She turned her head to the voice, eyes meeting a darkly attractive man with soft brown hair, and scruffy facial hair that emphasized his face.
Her face warmed up at the unexpected attention, something she was trying to avoid that night. “Oh, just, nothin’,” she murmured in a bashful manner.
“Can’t be,” he scoffed playfully. “Unless there’s some magic in the air that’s causing you to look this heavenly,”
She chuckled at his words, his attempts at flirting evident. “You’re funny,” she smiled, grabbing her glass to take a sip.
He watched her hands as she held the glass, taking a drink of the Shirley. “Yeah?”
“Yeah.” Her voice was hardly audible in the loud bar, but he read her lips like a sacred prayer.
His lips curled into a cocky smirk, but it was an illusion, far from cocky, and they both knew it. She knew that he was a deep and hearty soul, anything but selfish and self-centered.
Motioning for the bartender, he ordered a beer for himself, as well as said something that she couldn’t quite hear over the music. Looking back at her, his eyes seemed to glimmer with some mischievous intent.
“The drinks are on me by the way, just so you know.” He gave her a wink that seemed so cheesy, she started to laugh.
“Jeez, don’t wink again, for everyone’s sake.” Her tone was lighthearted and playful, mirroring his flirtatiousness.
He leaned a little closer to her, but still cautiously observing her comfort, trying not to cross any lines. “What, ‘cause it’d make you fall for me harder?”
Rolling her eyes at him, she couldn’t help but let a smile appear on her face. “Ugh, you’re so weird,”
“I’m completely normal—” He took a sip of his beer, Adam's apple bobbing as he swallowed. “I dunno what you’re talking about,”
“You know what—yeah—you’re right. I’m wrong. Oh, hail the mighty…” Looking up at him, she realized she didn’t even know his name yet.
Giving her a sweet smile, he told her his name. “Jeremy.”
“Oh hail the mighty Jeremy, bringer of rights, corrector of wrongs.”
It was his turn to laugh, deep and hearty that seemed to make her warm. “If I’m so right, maybe I think that we should have a dance, no?” He got off of his seat, and held his hand out to her.
Placing her hand in his, she got off of her seat as well, his height compared to her evident. “Anything for the mighty Jeremy,” she laughed.
They both made their way to the dancefloor, still just as crowded as before, and she tightened her grip on his hands. He noticed this and looked back, giving her a gentle smile, squeezing her hand twice delicately.
As they passed through the crowd towards an empty spot, she spotted her friends, and gave them a thumbs up as she continued to walk, causing her friends to erupt in cheers and all sorts of celebratory gestures.
Jeremy squeezed her hand again, getting her attention. She looked up at him, a soft smile pinned on her face as they both attempted to dance in the crowded area.
The buzz of her drink was finally just starting to affect her, each touch of his electrified, warm, and it made her feel like she was floating in a dream, a lost haze that she wanted to be permanent.
Yet it was awkward trying to move around and along to the music when there was little to no room to move, arms and legs stiff and cautious to not step or bump into anyone else.
Leaning closer towards him, her palm resting against his chest, she looked up at him and let out a nervous laugh.
“Too crowded in here,”
He looked at her and gave a small chuckle, lowering down to speak near her ear. “I can’t hear you in here, angel,”
She gave his hand two squeezes before walking towards the direction of the exit, weaving through the bodies in the crowded bar that made it feel so cramped and stuffy.
The breeze of fresh, refreshing air welcomed the both of them with open arms, causing the both of them to shiver, more notably, her.
“It’s better out—out here,” she stuttered, arms crossed over one another as she tried to conserve her warmth.
He raised a brow at her, unsure of whether or not she was serious about her comment. “Yeah? You think so?”
Nodding her head, she gave him a sheepish smile, wanting to play strong.
Unfortunately, he saw right through her facade, and he took his jacket off and placed it on her shoulders, which she accepted gratefully, with a genuine smile this time.
They both stood there outside, leaning against the brick wall side by side, breathing in the fresh air in silence together for a bit, their breaths almost visible.
It shouldn’t have been as cold as it felt, but the Northeast had a tendency to have inconsistent weather. Sunny and warm one day, snow the next.
Rummaging through her purse, she hoped to get a hold of her phone to send an apology to her friends in case she worried them. “I need to get back in there, I should tell my friends where I am,” she realized, breaking the silence.
He looked over at her, a soft look on his face. “I’ll wait for you,”
She smiled at him before walking back into the crowded bar, searching for her friends among the large number of people.
Attempting to move through the bodies that were grouped near the entrance, she felt a hand touch her waist, to which she instinctively swatted away.
“Hey, what’s wrong with you, baby?”
The stench of booze lingered on the stranger’s breath as it fanned over her neck, causing her to almost scoff with disgust.
“Get away from me—”
She tried to walk away from him, but her wrist was grabbed back, her attention forced back onto the stranger unwillingly.
Her stomach churned uncomfortably, the mixture of both her drink and the situation getting to her, and her surroundings became more blurred, fear rushing through her.
“Oh, you’re real classy man.”
The next few moments passed by in the blink of an eye after she heard the familiar voice, profanities and shouting could be made of the commotion, and eventually, she was being pulled out of the bar, her feet stumbling slightly at the rapid change.
“Are you alright?”
Panic filled her as she looked at the person who pulled her out, but then she slowly began to relax as she realized it was Jeremy. His hands were placed on each side of her arms carefully, trying not to startle her further.
She nodded, words unable to escape from her throat. Her eyes tried to focus on his worried expression, but all she could concentrate on was his touch that felt oh-so-familiar, warm and comforting, wanting to be in his embrace.
He looked at her with a concerned worry in his eyes, which quickly faded away as she wrapped her arms around him in a hug, and he followed suit, his own arms around her body.
Sighing at the warmth and comfort, her fuzzy head started to wander, and the thought of this feeling, this very moment, being so strangely familiar sat within her mind.
Perhaps it was the blurry lights of the cityscape across the cove, twinkling like the stars, just like it did in his eyes when she first met him, or perhaps, it was the simple beauty of it all.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” she spoke quietly.
He nodded his head in agreement, his focus switching between the sight of the lights, and her in his arms. “It is, but not as beautiful as you,”
Her face warmed up at his words, a gentle contrast to the cool air.
Standing there, they allowed themselves to take in the fresh outside, with gentle breathing to ease the both of them before they parted ways, but not before they exchanged numbers to keep in touch.

GRANOLA BARS
kids + post game media will always be my weakness
THE "SWINGING WITH THE SWAYMANS" MASTERLIST
tw: children/kids
jeremy was on a high. the bruins won, and although it wasn't a shutout game, the bruins had won by a pretty significant number, and it was all thanks to his good luck charms: you, eli, and winnie.
it was winnie's first game, so it was special game for him. during warmups, he saw you down on the ice, and couldn't contain his smile when he saw winnie's beanie.
it was the first thing jeremy had given to you when you found out you were pregnant with eli, but eli had long since grown out of the hat. it had been in storage so you decided to bring it out and surprise jeremy.
during intermission, he briefly checked his phone and saw the photos you sent him from the bruins social media account. the bruins photographer managed to catch a sweet moment of the four of you. you were sitting in a seat with eli was standing in between your legs and winnie standing on your legs. jeremy standing behind the glass with the biggest smile on his face.
the photo was caught right as winnie had noticed her dad on the other side of the glass. he took off his mask halfway so she knew it was him, but she was a smart girl, so she knew it was him.
eli and winnie both smiled as jeremy tossed pucks over the glass for them, which were caught by a kind man. winnie excitedly slapped her hands on the glass as jeremy smiled at her.
before having kids, he didn't understand what people talked about when they talked about "dad strength", but now, after having kids, he totally understood it. going into the 3rd period, after having seen those pictures, he was on fire. not one goal was let in the entire period.
after the game, all he wanted to do was go home and spend the rest of the night with you and the kids, but because he did so well, post-game media was on the list of things he had to do before he could leave.
“jeremy, going into the 3rd period, what was going through your mind because something changed between the second and third."
jeremy couldn't help but smile, "yeah, i got a text from my fiance. i don't know if you've seen them yet, but it was pictures from warmups. it's my daughter's first game, and we got some pictures taken."
he heard some commotion from the door of the locker room, and looked up just in time to see eli running in. jeremy smiled as eli pushed through the crowd of reporters and stood in front of his dad, waiting to be picked up.
he smiled, bending down and picking eli up. he fixed the hat on eli's head before turning back to the reporters, answering a couple more questions.
"...obviously, a shootout game would've been nice, but..." eli interrupted jeremy by whinging and pointing to the granola bar in his stall, "sorry." he smiled awkwardly, grabbing the granola bar and opening it for eli, "where was i?" he paused for a moment before regaining his train of thought, "... right, yeah..." he continued on with his answer before turning to the next reporter.
mid question, eli reached up and held out a piece of the granola bar, offering it to jeremy, who smiled and took the piece in his mouth. he nodded along as the reporter continued, eating the granola bar eli kept offering him.
he finished press and had eaten half a granola bar by the end of it. with eli's help, he got his stuff packed up and followed eli out to where you were waiting, winnie was asleep in the baby carrier attached to you.
"hi." you smiled brightly when you saw him, setting your phone aside, and giving him your attention, "i tried to stop him, but he's fast and he was on a mission."
jeremy laughed, "he is fast." jeremy looked down the hallway, watching eli running down the hall, talking to himself. he looked back over to you, raising a brow.
"he had a bit of candy." you shrugged, pursing your lips when he cocked his head at you, "we were on highway temper tantrum, exit full meltdown," you explained.
"hmm." jeremy hummed, setting his bags down and snatching eli up when he ran down the hall, "oof, i got you."eli giggled loudly, before letting out a tired yawn, dropping his head onto jeremy's shoulder, "let's go home." he slugn his bag over the other shoulder before grabbing your hand.
requests are open :)

Baby Bear
Jack Hughes x Brad Marchand Sister
Tumblr media
sutton.march hey! that's my brother! beating up that guy! (my other "brothers" are much more well behaved, don't worry mom)
bmarch63 thanks kid, thanks. so glad to be your brother when you treat me like this
trevorzegras when i left BC you said you'd root for my team 😠
sutton.march sorry trev, brad works for the big bears so it's kind of an obligation
jackhughes really disappointed in you marchand, you're supposed to be a devils fan
bmarch63 stop flirting with my sister
sutton.march brad, you like him??
jackhughes yeah brad, you said you liked me?
January 15th, the day of the Devils @ Bruins
"Brad, boys, consider this me demanding that you behave tonight. No bullying off the ice, remember?" I warn the boys, all older than I, as someone comes up behind me, placing a jacket over my corset top. Looking back, I can see it's Jeremy, him hiding a small smile and shrugging as I realize the bomber jacket that he gave me for secret santa and I had forgotten at the party last night.
"Sorry, your brother said to grab this from his car. Think he's playing a little extra protective with your little friends in town," he jokes, making me roll my eyes.
Brad is always like this when the Ducks or Devils come to town.
"Sutton!"
"Sounds like your little friend," Pasta jokes with a smirk, the sound of the middle Hughes boys voice earning my attention as I turn with a smile. But before I make any moves, I turn back to my brother and his closet friends. "Behave."
"Yes mom," Sway assures, soluting before taking off towards where the Devils core group was located in the VIP section of the bar, the rest of us following.
"Suttie, how's it going," Luke is the first to greet me, the younger Hughes wrapping me in a hug.
"Always a good night when you hooligans come to town," I greet, hugging the boy back before pulling away, making eye contact with my favorite Bruins opponent. "Mr.Hughes."
"Ms.Marchand," He serves right back, pulling me tight to his chest and kissing top of my head. "I've missed you baby," He whispers, knowing that my "brothers" are all staring us down from the spots they've taken around the table, mingling with the men they were just fighting on the ice.
I'm sure it wouldn't be going this well if the boys in yellow hadn't won 4-3.
"Ok, now you're just hogging her," Dawson grumbles, elbowing both Brad and Nico. "Captains o' captains, one of you has to be able to tell him to knock it off."
The captains share a look as Jack and I look away, him taking a seat in the tight booth and pulling me onto his lap.
In New Jersey, this is never a big deal.
In Boston, you could say there are people against it. At least based on the look of murder on Brad and David's faces as Jack wraps his arms around my waist to keep me in place.
"You guys played great tonight," Jack compliments his elders, Jeremy being the only of the four to actually smile fully.
"Thanks kid, you guys weren't too bad yourselves," Patrice offers, his a slightly more convincing smile than my brother and David's. "That was a great goal you had, Hischier," He adds, nodding slightly at the young captain.
"You can call him Nico, Bergy," I correct, trying to smooth as many divides as I can.
I get four nights a year to encourage these boys get along, plus two for Brad for the holidays I'm able to take Jack too.
And that only goes so well.
"Nico, that was a great goal Nico," Bergy corrects himself, winking dramatically at me.
"Thanks, I was proud of it," Is Neeks response, and although it's simple, it makes me happy to look around and see all my favorite boys smiling (ish) and getting along.
"So," Luke whispers, leaning down to my height. "When are we going to get you into a Devils jacket with Hughes on the back?"
"I like the sound of that," Jack chimes in, having heard his brothers question. "When can we get that to happen?"
"Put a ring on her finger and then she can change her alliances, till then, nuh uh," Brad chimes, Bergy elbowing him and giving him an unimpressed look.
"You can be protective, not a douche bag, Marchy," He scolds, earning an eye roll as Sway and Pasta attempt to hide laughs, Luke, Nico and Daws doing the same.
"Fine."
That wasn't expected, usually he grimes and gruffs more.
"But-" Here we go. "Bruins gear will be warn at all Devils/Bruins games. I do not want to see you in anything red those nights." There it is.
Looking to Jack, he just smiles, knowing my brother doesn't truly dislike him as he likes to put on. Brad's happy for me, but he's 13 years my elder, and has always been more than protective. With his nod of agreement, I reach my hand across the table, Brad shaking it with a nod of his own. "You've got yourself a deal, old man."
a.n. okay, so i got excited and did this piece right after asking y'all about it :) at first i was going to go for a pining sort of dynamic for the two but i wanted to be able to explore the devils x bruins dynamic and brad as an older brother more, so what happened is an established relationship. hope you enjoy, this is my first time writing for the bruins men in any form or fashion <3

"kiss it, kiss it better, baby" — rihanna
A/N: okay, so i saw this happen against TB and immediately opened my notes app. he's actually criminally attractive. anyway hope you all enjoy the long-awaited fic 💞
- - -
Complicated was one of a handful of words that could accurately describe your relationship with Trent. You were friends; good friends, at that. You had been for a long time.
But some would argue that most friends didn’t do the things that you did on most nights.
You always knew he was good-looking—it wasn’t to anybody’s surprise. It sure as hell wasn’t unknown to the girls who offered themselves up to him on any platform they could get their hands on. And it especially wasn’t by the ones who’d do it to his face. Thing is, he often turned them down.
He didn’t need to oblige them if he was getting it from you every other night.
It started late in the 2022-23 hockey season. You were shocked by just how incredible the Bruins’ season was going, and by association, Trent’s. He was even up for NESN’s 7th Player Award.
He’d gained…confidence. And a lot of it. Of course, Trent kept a good head on his shoulders—he was never in over his head, but he carried that high with him when he played, and it showed. That was around the time you began to see your friend through a different lens than you normally had.
And it was through that same new lens that you saw him the first time he took you to bed.
It was often that you’d go for small periods of time without seeing each other since the team would travel for their road games. But this time it had been weeks since you’d seen him; you lived in Boston, but you went on a trip with your family, and the team left for a road trip when you got back. It was the longest you’d been apart since the beginning of the season, paired with the newfound attraction to him.
He showed up at your door when they finally arrived home, much to your surprise. One thing led to another, and you eventually found yourself laid flat on your bed with the weight of his body on top of you.
But he traveled a ton, visited home often, and you had your own life, so things remained strictly physical. And when you weren’t tangled up with him, you were friends.
Was it stupid? Probably. No, it was—you knew that much. Maybe because it was just meaningless sex. Maybe because you could only see each other when he was in Boston. Or maybe because the one thing that wasn’t supposed to happen, happened.
Maybe you’d begun to feel for each other.
Trent loved to fight. It was an integral part of his game, and it even used to be one of the only things he did do. You couldn’t lie, either—it was hot when he did it, and the nights after were typically…well spent.
So when Trent got into a tussle with Tampa Bay’s Tanner Jeannot, you found your attention to be especially focused on him and the blood trickling down his face as he skated off the ice.
Two nights later, you heard the noise that you’d been not-so-patiently waiting for; the one that you rejected sleep for, and the one you assumed you’d be hearing at some point during the night. The knock on your door.
At nearly two in the morning, you heard it, and your feet quickly carried you to the door, knowing exactly what was waiting behind it:
Trent, arms folded, sporting a vicious black eye with a particularly large grin on his lips.
You put on a brave face and straightened out your shoulders, hoping to achieve some sort of collectiveness. A brief period of silence prevailed until you finally broke it.
“Hey,” you spoke in your best attempt to sound nonchalant.
“Hey,” he repeated your tone, taking a step closer to you as you took one back, silently allowing him to pass through the doorway and into your apartment.
“I missed you, y’know,” your voice rang softly in his ears as your head tilted back to look up at him.
His ringed finger traced the shape of your jawline and found its place just under your chin. “That so?” he rasped, a teasing hint in his tone.
“Mhm,” the matter-of-fact response softly left your stretched lips as your arms wrapped around him. “How’s your eye?”
“Eh,” he shrugged, “not that bad. I’ve had worse.”
“I was watching. It looked pretty bad at first, no?”
“It was. I couldn’t see.” His eyes narrowed as he leaned down to you, tongue slipping out to lick his lips. “Why do you ask? You worried about me?”
Instead of a verbal reply, your hand slid up to his face, thumb gently grazing the bruised skin of his eye as you quietly examined it. Then, you leaned up, gently pressing your lips to the corner of his eye, just where the bruising originated atop the initial cut. His hold on you tightened just slightly as he flinched at the contact. You trailed more feather-light kisses down his cheek, moving in a path toward his nose and the second wound.
“A little,” you finally whispered as your lips reached the reddened skin near the cut, then moved downward at a torturously slow pace, eventually hovering just in front of his parted ones. “But I was more focused on how you looked rather than how it looked.”
“And how was that?” he inquired, his warm breath fanning your lips.
The soft “hot” barely was able to leave your mouth before he pressed his lips firmly to yours, effectively cutting you off. Large hands pressed into your sides as the one previously under your chin slid down and aligned with the other at your hips. He pulled you into him, the gesture with a bit of force driven by the want that built up in the time that passed since he’d seen you last.
He walked you backward, slowly urging you toward the nearest surface that he could press you against. The leg of the couch hit the back of your knee and brought you to a halt just as he pulled back for a breath.
“You want it here or—”
“Bed.”
In a matter of seconds, your body was hoisted up, legs wrapped around his waist as he walked you down the short hallway and into your room. The slam of the door echoed throughout the space when his foot kicked it shut. It wasn’t long before you laid flat on the bed with the weight of Trent’s body atop yours.
The whole arrangement was stupid—hooking up with the same person, however many times, just for the satisfaction of it. You knew you should’ve ended it weeks ago—hell, months ago—but you didn’t. Because he felt too good, and you just couldn’t find the strength to deny him.
The warmth of his hands imprinted itself on your hips, your waist, the frail skin below your t-shirt that had begun to ride up your midsection. Your own fingers tangled into his hair, grasping the loose reddish-brown curls with a sense of fervent urgency as his lips trailed from your jaw down to your neck.
“Shit,” you sighed, pushing his head further into your neck, pulling him impossibly closer to your skin.
“Like that, mm?”
“God, don’t start now,” you spoke with a roll of your eyes, breaths labored as they passed through your parted lips.
“Too late.”
A roll of your eyes was your only response, and his fingers left a faint squeeze on your waist as he lifted his head, face hovering above yours. “What, you just gonna take that from a dumb hockey player?”
“Don’t get too ahead of yourself.”
“And why shouldn’t I?”
“Because,” you breathed, “you haven’t seen everything yet.”
When he asked what you meant, he was first met with a silent grin; one that told him he was going to have to find out for himself, but not before you gave him a hint, just a nudge in the right direction. So you removed a hand from his head and wrapped the fingers around his wrist, slowly pushing his own hand up until it came into contact with the soft material that hugged your upper body, still covered by the fabric of your shirt.
Only a moment passed before he was peeling it from your body, quickly having realized exactly what that  “everything” was from earlier.
Now, your upper half was exposed, the cool air streaming in from your cracked-open window and hitting your skin in just the right places. And on display for Trent’s eyes to see was the black, lacey material—a sight he’d never seen on you before, and one that he just knew he could get used to.
“Well,” his head dipped down, lips beginning to kiss along your stomach and slowly working their way up, “would you look at that?”
“Mm,” was all that you were able to manage as he reached the fabric on your chest.
“Not every day that I get to see you like this,” he noted softly.
“I know.” A faint groan left your parted lips when you exhaled, letting go of the breath you held in as he worked his way up to your collarbones.
Your hands found the hem of his shirt and swiftly tore it from his body, letting it fall to the ground as your fingers explored his back. The tag that hung from the now-visible chain around his neck hit the warm skin between your collarbones, the familiar cold surface telling you what it was without you having to bat an eye.
“Still haven’t…haven’t seen everything yet.”
“I’m working on it,” he cooed, lips teasing the skin of your neck as he worked your sweatpants down your legs, just far enough for you to kick them off.
Finally, the purchase you made earlier that day was on full display for him, hugging each curve in the perfect place. He pushed himself up, both hands planted on the bed with one on each side of you. You watched as his eyes trailed from your face down to your chest, stopping at your waist before bringing them back into focus at your eyes. The breath he let out before speaking could have easily been mistaken for a moan.
“You’re incredible.”
You grinned as his hand slipped between your legs, fingers dancing along the dampened lace slowly. “God, already?” he teased, dragging his fingers across the fabric, causing your breath to hitch just slightly.
“Please,” you laughed. “Don’t act so surprised.”
“Oh, don’t worry—I’m not.”
It never took much for you to be ready for him; he always had this way about him that never failed to turn you on, and he knew it.
And tonight, he and you both knew that there wasn’t room for stalling.
So you pulled him back down to you, tongue tangling with his. His hand rose up to take yours, lacing your fingers tightly with his, then brought the two to his face where he kissed the back of yours.
“Symbolistic tonight, aren’t we?” you remarked with a faint laugh.
“Something like that,” he winked as he reached down and unbuckled his belt, tossing it to the floor along with the other discarded articles of clothing.
“Tell me something,” he spoke promptly, fingers unzipping his pants.
“Hm?”
“If I wanted you to do something, would you do it?”
“Such as?” you inquired.
“Such as…” he repeated with a stretch of his lips as he lifted himself up and moved onto his back beside you. “Come here.”
At his words, you inched closer to him, his eyes boring into yours as you looked up. “Yeah?”
“I want you to get on top.”
Your eyes shot open.
He made himself clear, and you knew exactly what you heard. You probably should have predicted it from the way he laid on his back so fast, but you didn’t think anything of it. It wasn’t exactly something that would’ve crossed your mind; it couldn’t have when you’d never done it before. All of the times you’d been with him—in all of the places—it was something you hadn’t done. And he knew that.
“Trent, I’ve never—”
“I know,” he cut you off, a finger placed just under your chin. “It’s okay. I’ll help you.”
“I…” you swallowed, brows knit together as he looked down at you, “…okay.”
He pressed a kiss to your lips. Despite the situation, he was being gentle. “Just let me help you, ‘mkay? And if it gets too much, we’ll stop.”
You nodded, and that was when he brought his hands to your lips and carefully lifted you over him, setting you down atop his lower stomach before he situated himself below his waist. Then, he instructed you to lift yourself up slightly, allowing his fingers to slip between your legs and move the fabric to the side so he could line himself up.
Finally, you felt the pressure of him pressing at your entrance just slightly, and you knew he was ready.
“Hold on to me.”
At his word, you put a hand on each shoulder firmly and looked at him, giving him the cue to continue. His hands on your hips slowly and carefully lowered you down, allowing you to sink into his lap comfortably. Various soft whimpers were pried from your throat as you took him, the all-new feeling setting in.
You hadn’t noticed that your eyes had screwed shut at some point through it, but of course, he did.
“Hey,” he spoke gently, not to startle you.
You slowly opened your eyes and looked down into his, brows still knit and unwilling to falter as you awaited his next word. You didn’t say a word, knowing that you’d be letting nothing slip from your lips but heavy breaths as you adjusted to him.
“Look at how pretty you are…”
A curt tilt of your head was your first move. “Don’t,” you tried to speak, cut off by your own breaths, “don’t lie.”
“You think I’m lying?” he scoffed, chuckling as he brought his ringed finger under your chin once more. “Just look at you.”
A hand ran along the lace around your waist, then slowly moved up to your chest, tracing the band. “See?” he leaned up and pressed a kiss to your lips. “See how pretty you are?”
All you could manage was a nod as his hands settled at your waist once more and moved his hips, lowering you just slightly further, carefully gauging how much you could take to start.
“You feel that?”
“Mhm.”
He slid you up a bit, allowing you to feel the movement; to adjust to it before he started for real. He gave you a moment to tighten your grip, and when he finally felt your muscles relax just slightly, he let you sink down fully. You let out a whimper as your fingers dug into his shoulders.
The feeling of him inside you should’ve been all too familiar by now, and it would’ve been had it been under the typical circumstances. But this time was different. For just a sliver of time—a split second—it felt like you were back to the first night you spent with him, your senses heightened as they hyper-focused on how perfectly he filled you.
Every last inch of him could be felt from this position. It felt incredible, and you couldn’t gather enough strength to voice it.
“You okay?”
“Yes,” you nodded, “I’m…okay.”
“Good,” he softly replied, leaning up to kiss you again. “This is the hard part, ‘mkay?”
“Okay.”
With that, he used his hands to begin moving you. It was slow at first—he knew you would struggle then, and he wanted you to be able to handle it before he continued. So he moved his hips along with you, keeping a pace that he was sure you were okay with.
“Fuck,” your voice finally sounded, and he couldn’t help but grin softly. Before he knew it, you were moving along with him, matching his pace and breathing deeply.
“That’s it,” he encouraged quietly.
And when he knew you were alright, his hips sped up, just enough to satisfy his own needs without making you uncomfortable. His position was now altered, as were the places he reached, prolonging your pleasure and providing another feeling for you to get used to—him buried to the hilt as he thrust his hips up, meeting with yours each time as you slowly gained comfort.
You buried your face into his neck, the skin doing an average job at concealing your moans. He breathed out deeply as your hand trailed from his shoulder down to his chest, cold metal of his chain pressing into your palm. Your mind was unable to fixate itself on anything other than him, how good he felt, and how you hadn’t already done it before.
It never took much to remind you of why you kept agreeing to this.
“Look at me,” he finally spoke, prompting you to lift your head, eyes meeting with his as you gripped his chest.
“When you’re close, say something to me.”
At his bluntness, your stomach dropped. It was a demand, no doubt, but despite the situation, his demeanor was gentle. His intentions were clear; he wanted to know, to prepare you. To help you when the time came, because—like anything—it wouldn’t be easy.
A breathy “okay” was all that you managed to let out, accompanied by a sharp nod.
His gaze trailed down, stopping at your chest and finally taking in the sight before him. He’d never seen you in something so weakening. As much as one part of him wanted to tear the black lace straight from your body, the other couldn’t imagine letting it leave his sight. And although he was in control, guiding you through each and every movement, he was completely captivated by you.
By now, you’d begun to take a sliver of initiative, allowing yourself to set a pace that you could comfortably keep up with. Trent’s hands remained on your hips, loosening their grip just slightly to give you not just the freedom you needed, but the support that he knew you couldn’t go without.
Finally, a familiar feeling grew in your stomach as your hand moved back up to his shoulder with a growing suspicion of needing the extra support. You wanted to listen to him; to tell him something like he said to do before. So you did.
“Hands,” was all you could manage, your strained voice pulling him and his focus away from your chest.
“Hm?”
“Don’t,” you sighed, “move them.”
“They’re not going anywhere,” he reassured you, repositioning them just above your waist, grip remaining firm as he pulled you into him, allowing you to sink more comfortably into his lap.
The warmth that his large hands gave to your skin paired with the cool touch of his ring brought a sense of familiarity to you, allowing your body to relax into his as you rode through the mild, yet growing discomfort.
“Right there,” you mumbled, gripping him tighter as the pit in your stomach grew, urging you further toward your breaking point. He allowed you to get yourself there, to go at your own pace, helping you to keep yourself as comfortable as possible, given the situation.
And before you knew it, your eyes were screwed shut as you reached the high you’d been chasing. He felt you tighten around him, the pressure causing his head to fall back as he sucked air through his teeth. But through it, he helped you, worked you through your release as he finally brought himself to his. You were grateful for his support, especially in this moment.
Moans spilled from your lips, each one more uncontrollably loud than the last. He always felt good, but god, it had never been this good.
And when he slid a hand from your hip to your stomach, you were easily able to guess what he was doing; what he was feeling for. That was all it took for him to be pulled over with you, thoroughly coating your walls with his own warm release and undoubtedly increasing your pleasure.
You continued to move your hips as much as you could manage, and your efforts drew a low groan from him. Your legs were weak, trembling from the unfamiliar feeling of being spread open for such an extensive period, along with his dick hitting just about every last sweet spot possible.
“Trent,” you whimpered, and he removed his hand from your stomach to place it behind your head, easing you down to his chest as he stilled.
Labored breaths filled the space as you lay just under his shoulder, your palm having made its way back to his chest, chain resting below it once more. His arm was wrapped around your waist, hand now in the small of your back, rubbing back and forth gently.
“You did great,” he whispered.
You nodded slowly, eyes closed as your breathing began to steady. The hand that rubbed your back was the subject of your focus, helping to calm you and your body as it melted into the warmth of his.
“Hey,” he spoke softly, tapping the back of your head with a finger. Warm brown eyes greeted yours when you looked up, a faint smile taking shape on his face as his palm flattened against the back of your head.
“I’m proud of you.”
Your head tilted to the side as a smile crept up on your face to match his. “You are?”
“Mhm,” he confirmed, pulling you closer. “You did so good.”
He leaned over to kiss your cheek, lingering for just a moment before resting his head back once more. Beads of sweat coated him—his forehead, his neck, his chest—and you could feel it under your palms. But you didn’t pay it any mind. You just kept your body comfortably still against his.
“Thanks,” you chuckled quietly.
“Mhm.”
“You know, I, uh,” you started, then took in a breath while you gathered the words that slipped you. Your head tilted downward, eyes honing in on his chest as you continued, just slightly too embarrassed to look up. “I’m glad it was you.”
“Yeah?” he asked softly.
“Yeah,” you nodded back. “You’re just about the only guy I’d trust not to…to hurt me. Or use it to his own benefit instead.”
You couldn’t help but laugh, “It sounds so fucking stupid saying it out loud, but people just…suck.”
“Hey,” he brought his finger under to your chin once again, nudging it upward until your gaze realigned with his.
“I’d never do that.”
“I know,” you whispered, brows knitting together as you nodded. “I trust you.”
“Good,” he nodded, then leaned up to kiss you softly, pulling you in with his finger.
When he pulled away, his lips remained centimeters away from yours, warm breath grazing your face lightly as you parted yours to speak gently.
“Stay with me.”
He didn’t have to think about it—he already knew what he’d say. But he wanted to be sure that you were sure first. Through all of the nights you had together, he’d never stayed the night, and neither had you.
His freckled cheeks stretched as a smile shaped his face, his teeth now on display. “You sure?”
When you nodded in response, you barely gave him time to finish the phrase, swallowing thickly as you awaited his answer.
“Then I’m not going anywhere.”
When you leaned back over to hug him, it caused him to shift in you, eliciting a whimper from your lips. He took notice quickly, moving his hands back to your hips and stabilizing you.
“You okay?”
“Yeah, I just,” you breathed shakily, “just need to move.”
“Come on, I’ll help you.”
He gripped you tightly as you slowly lifted yourself up, a long, weak breath escaping your parted lips as your eyes began to close. His voice helped calm you down as he spoke to you softly. “It’s okay,” he reassured you for what seemed like the tenth time, “I’ve got you.”
Finally, you laid down comfortably next to him. Your arm rested atop his midsection, hand resting in the same place on his chest as he wrapped his own arm around your waist. He pulled you into him, into the warmth of his large body, coaxing your head to his chest once more.
“Trent,” you spoke finally, your eyes growing in size as you tilted your head up. “You didn’t put a—”
“I know,” he softly told you, his soft eyes meeting yours. “You’re consistent, and I’m not hooking up with anyone else.”
“Okay.”
At first, your mind seemed to slip past the last part. It quickly circled back around, however, a confused expression now lined your face. “You’re not?”
“No,” he shook his head.
“Why?”
“You’re enough.”
Your expression fell instantly, shock plaguing your thoughts as you lifted your head and tried to blink yourself out of the state you were now in. “But we’re not—”
“I know.”
You knew you wouldn’t get more out of him, and both you and him could tell that the other was tired. So you put your head back down and set it aside for the morning. “Okay.”
Trent pulled the sheets up and laid them across your shoulder, then leaned down and pressed a kiss to the top of your head.
“Get some sleep, ‘mkay?”
“Okay,” you whispered back with a nod.
“…Night, Trent.”
The two of you were asleep just moments later, wrapped up in each other’s warmth. Now, something was different, and you both knew it. It was intimate; more intimate than it had ever been for you two.
For the first time, you would spend the whole night with him. And it surely wouldn’t be the last.
So maybe this whole thing was stupid, after all. But this time, you came out the other end knowing why.
Because you did feel for each other.

Lover Boy - Part 1
Warnings: None
Pairing(s): Jeremy Swayman x Fem!Reader
Summary: Y/N Ullmark gets a job with the Bruins as their new photographer. They haven't seen each other in a few years, some things have changed. What happens when her brother's best friend develops a crush on her?
________________________________________________
“Hey guys today’s media day as you know, we gotta get our roster shots. We have a new photographer so do me a favor, be nice to her, she’s ullmarks sister.” I heard Brad Marchand say from inside the locker room. A series of cat-call whistles went off in the locker room before I heard my brother clear his throat. I roll my eyes. Here we go, I think to myself. “Completely off limits to every single one of you. Don’t even think about it.” He says. The whistles continue and I let out a laugh a little louder than needed. The locker room went silent. “I guess I’ll come in now,” I said, stifling the giggles from seconds ago. “As you guys know I’m Y/n Ullmark, your new media girl. So if you guys could suit up and head out to the hallway in 20 that would be great!” I say, and just before walking fully out of the locker room, I saw someone I recognized, Swayman. The last time I saw him was when he first got signed and became best friends with my brother. He looks a little older now. We locked eyes, he gave a smile and a wave which was returned before I headed to the hallway to set up. I set up my camera stand, the lights, and the background as the guys were lining up. A few of the boys jokingly hit on me, but I took it lightly. I could tell I was going to love this job. I was down to the last two guys which were Pasta and Sway. After photoing Pasta it was just me and Sway in the hallway. “Y/n, it’s been so long. How was school?” He asked. “Ah, he speaks. School was awesome but it definitely had its ups and downs. I’ve been keeping up with stats, you guys have been doing really well. Are you excited to be in net for the rangers game tomorrow? I hear they’ve got a new bruiser, Matt something?” I asked while fixing the lighting for his photo. “Matt Rempe, yeah I’ve heard of the kid. Make sure you get my good side tomorrow. No bad angles.” He joked. I laughed and playfully pushed him into position for the photo. I snapped a few good headshots for the roster and some full body for the Instagram, which I now run. Most of the photos weren’t usable since he kept making silly faces at the camera but those were the photos I knew the fans would adore. After taking his pictures he walked back to the locker room and I started putting away the lights and backdrops. This took longer than I thought it would. Almost all of the boys had left by the time I was almost done putting it all away. “Hey, Y/n do you need any help with all of that?” Sway asked from down the hallway, walking out of the locker room in jeans and a flannel, while putting on his hat, flipping so it's backwards. “Oh no its okay, I’m almost finished.” I responded with a smile. “Are you sure, its really no bother.” He said. “Y/n, is this guy bothering you?” My brother asked, stifling a chuckle as he walked down the hallway towards us. “Hey Bubba, Sway asked me to go get drinks with him, would you mind putting the lights and tripod in the closet?” I asked my brother sweetly, watching Jer’s face drop into a puzzled expression out of the corner of my eye. “Wait, what I-“ My brother started. “Thank youuuu.” I interrupted, grabbing Sway's hand and pulling him toward the exit. I turned around to see my brother still standing there shocked. “No need to worry bubba its just as friends, promise.” Once we walked about of the arena I let go of his hand. “Alright tendy, where are you taking me for drinks?” I asked as we make the short walk over to his truck. “Well, since I don’t have much of a choice I was thinking Brock’s bar. Have you ever been?” He asked unlocking the doors and opening his own. I opened mine and grabbed the handle at the top to pull myself in. “Oh come on Jer don’t act like you don’t love my company. I’ve been once or twice but I don’t really remember those nights honestly.” I joked, and we both laughed at the hard truth while he started the truck.

nova scotia princess | nico Hischier
nico hischier x oc marchand

warnings: swearing, mostly fluff and some sweet moments between her and her siblings.
word count: 4.3k

marie celine marchand had been in new york for the past year, much to brad's dismay. he hadn't seen her since christmas, and was shocked to see her at his doorstep up north. it was now july during the off season, and marie had decided to head on up to nova scotia, for her birthday no less.
the youngest of the five, she could not have been more different from the rest. she never engaged in hockey (i know! a sin!) never took any inkling towards skating or snow sports, but instead towards soccer, her first love. she was enamored with it and it took her to faraway places with team canada and for her college years at the university of stanford. she had a very hard time leaving california but knew it was best to start fresh, and it just so happened that she loved new york. at the time, it was only a 40 minute drive to her long time childhood friend, ryan graves before he was traded to the pittsburgh penguins. the day he was traded, he gave her a phone call and she was completely gutted. yet she understood the business side of the league, though brad had gotten the better part of it his entire career. after he was traded, she hadn't thought about the new jersey devils as the season rolled around. she no longer had something tying her to them, so she moved on and supported her friend's ryan and sidney on the pens from afar. it wasn't until she found her self in upper manhattan meeting up with some girls from work at a little known and upscale restaurant, that she had saw some of the people she'd grown close to over ryan's stint with the team. she walked past them towards her table, most certainly garnering some looks once they heard the familiar name of marie celine from the group of girls. she got a text from a few of them night, restarting the snapchat groupchat she had had with some of the younglings. most notably, hughes', nico and dawson. she rolled her eyes as messages flowed in that evening as the girls took some wine back to the girl's apartment.
that evening all of the caught up with one another, and then she received a text from nico askin if they wanted to get some coffee for old times sake. what did she have to lose? and so it began than, secret dates and then group dates with the team, spending weekends at a time with nico at his place getting up to whatever came about. throughout all of it, she kept it a secret from everybody besides her older sister rebecca; nobody needed to know. at least not yet.
marie walked up to the front door of brad's lake house and she mentally prepared herself for the all the pestering and bombarding that would happen once she'd set a foot in the house. she pulled out the key he had given her the year he finished building it, and she quickly made work with the lock and pushed open the tall door. "brad! im home!!" she called out, smirking to herself as she heard dogs running towards her and footsteps. she looked up to see brad with wide eyes and then his famous smile. she took her hand off of her small suitcase, and met him halfway for a hug. "who's here?" "who's that?" "if its jr im gonna cry" and that made marine giggle, already knowing it was ryan. "you good?" brad questioned pulling away just a bit and she nodded, "yep! are you? you forgot to invite me for my birthday!" she said faking a pout. "kat!" he called for his wife and marie slapped his arm, "don't go blaming it on your wife you hooligan!" marie said as katrina walked in and she squeled. "i thought you were going to sw-" and then katrina cut herself off. brad looked at his wife then to marie and then they were both gone and off towards the kitchen. "we have a surprise guest!" katrina called out towards the open back door and a group of heads turned towards her. she saw her siblings, ryan, sid, nate, patrice b, pasta, their partners, a few childhood friends of the siblings and a few aunts/uncles. "damn got the whole fam i see..." she whispered to kat who giggled. "uh yeah you could say that." she said looking down at the girl as some of the guys came to say hi. "hi guys." she said looking at some of the nova scotia greats as ryan rested his arm on the brunettes head. she looked up giving him a playful dirty glare, "ah hem." she said garnering a few laughs. "well if you'll excuse me-" she paused pushing ryan's arm off of her head, "ill be down soon, i need to do a few things." she said smiling at everybody before she was off towards a guest room that was designated hers.
she sat down on the edge of the bed as she put her head in her hands, cursing the world. her phone buzzing like no tomorrow with texts from nico, the hughes brothers and dawson. she had been dodging their texts and calls after (what she thought) was nico cheating on her. they were on facetime a week ago and she could have sworn she heard somebody in the background as she heard a muffled voice and nico look in front of him one night. so when she didn't show up to the airport in switzerland the day before, nico was freaking out. which in turn freaked the other boys out. she heard a soft knock on her door, and she looked up to see ryan. she sniffled, wiping her tears as he stepped in and shut the door behind him.
she broke down even more, and ryan quickly sat down beside her and wrapped his arms around her. he had no idea why his best friend was hurting, yet he kept quiet until her sobs became softer. "mc....whats going on?" he asked as he pulled back just a bit to look at her, her cheeks stained with redness and moisture. she sniffled, "he-he's cheating on me." she said and ryan knew exactly who she as referring to, besides her sister she ofcourse told him. they were two peas in a pod, through thick and thin. ryan sighed, growing heated with anger. "and they wont stop texting me...they are worried as to why i didn't make it to switzerland but i don't wanna talk to them." she said pushing her head into his chest. ryan kissed her head, trying to calm himself. she needed her best friend, he'd take care of nico later.
the next morning ryan left the marchand house early to get some coffee for him and marie. the two hadn't left her room all day. she was too much in state of disbelief, shock, and grief as she explained to nico what had happened. as soon as he was turning onto the main strip her called nico up, ready to tear him a new one. nico picked up on the fourth ring unsure as to why he was calling, "wanna fucking explain to me hischier why the fuck you cheated on the very best thing that has ever happened to you and our universe huh? why you decided to hurt the very brightest light? you are so in for it hischier, you have no idea. you have a whole league about to give you hell." ryan spat breathing rapidly. nico was at a loss for words over in switzerland. "what?" he croaked in confusion and exhaustion. since marie hadn't been responding to anybody's calls or messages, he hadn't slept. too sick with fear and anxiety. "she caught you with a girl nico, on facetime. are you seriously that daft?" ryan growled. nico thought back to their last facetime and he went through the events of it. he'd been sitting up in bed shirtless, around 11:30 his time, he was just about to go to bed after finishing his sleep tea and he then realized. she had heard his sister in the background, as she had come to visit him and the two had just gotten done playing a round of Mario kart. "christ- didn't cheat. promise." he said standing up now and looking at flights to new york. "who was it then nico?" ryan questioned, "my sister. can get flight to new york today." he said and ryan chuckled, "yeah no she ain't there." ryan said turning into the drive through, " if you're gonna make things right, you gotta come to scotia." ryan stated.

ryan walked back into the house with his, brad's, kat's and marie's coffee with a few breakfast sandwiches. "wanna tell me why marie is crying on the dock?" sidney said as soon as ryan walked into the kitchen. "wait what?" ryan asked setting everything down before looking towards the dock, and now seeing nate making his way down it. ryan sighed, "misunderstanding." he simply stated taking the coffees out of the tray. "misunderstanding, huh? is that why you two were locked in her room all evening?" sidney asked sipping his hot coffee. ryan sighed again, "she thought her boy-boyfriend cheated on her." was all ryan stated sipping some coffee. "boyfriend?" sidney questioned, eyes going wide. "does brad know?" he questioned, and ryan scoffed. "like he need to know every little thing in her life." and sidney wouldn't buy it. "no no, you have to tell him! or at least get her too." sidney said with authority, and ryan rolled his eyes. "sid, she doesn't want him to know at least not yet." ryan said watching nate and marie interact. nate had his arm around the brunette, as she sobbed into his shoulder. "you know we all look at her like a sister, please do the right thing. we only want the best for her and that only happens if brad knows, and you know that." sidney said before taking his cup of coffee and heading out to nate and marie. ryan groaned as kat walked in with the young kiddos. "ou! mommy juice, thankyou ry." kat said thanking the defenceman. she saw the look in his eyes, and then she look towards the crowded dock. "oh no." kat said, "oh no? whats up?" brad said walking in rubbing his eye. he paused as he saw the three of them outside, huddled together, "whats going on?" brad asked now walking in front of ryan. "uh-" "spit it out graves." brad demanded and ryan hummed. "she thought her- her boyfriend cheated on her. but it was a misunderstanding." he stated and brad was angry. "boyfriend?! what do you mean misunderstanding graves? spill it!" he said as kat took the kids outside. "she thought her boyfriend of 10 months cheated on her but it was only his sister that she heard. i just got off the phone with the dude so its been all cleared away, i just hadn't had the chance to tell her." and then he said softer, "and tell you he's coming here." ryan said not meeting his best friends eye sight. "here? are you mad ryan! who is this so i can knock some sense into him?" brad demanded and ryan was in for it. he was cornered, there was no getting out of this. "i cant say brad, only marie can." ryan said defeatedly and brad rolled his eyes. "so you're saying that you really arent her boyfriend?" and ryan now met his eye sight in shock. "you're telling me that you two haven't been together at least at some point?" he said and ryan laughed. "oh god no, shes my sister brad. you know she hates me half the time, for good reasons but no. i couldn't ever go down that path and there has never been a moment ever for me to. ew gross." ryan said and brad sighed. "always thought it was you two against the world... man i gotta pay up." he said amusedly. "pay up?" ryan said cocking an eyebrow. "a long running bet with patrice." and now it was ryans turn to laugh. the nova scotia princess was never his and would never be.

on the dock, marie thanked nate for listening to her ramble and cry into his shoulder before sidney sat down. nate rubbed her upper back, trying to comfort the girl. sidney sat down and offered her some kind words, and she thanked him. "i just don't know what was not good enough for him? what did i do wrong?" she said looking off into the clear lake. sid and nate looked at one another, silently trying to get the other speak up. "nothing sunshine, nothing. its all him." sid said trying to reassure the young girl he'd seen as a little sister since the day she was born. him and brad had been in practice together when they got the call from brad's dad, urging the boys to head down to the hospital with sid's dad. the moment he had seen the young girl was how he felt when his sister was born, he'd protect and be there for her through everything. "how about a boat day?" nate offered up and marie smiled. she could never and would never pass up a boat day.
it was around 10:30 pm and the original group that had been there when she'd shown up was back at the house, with all the kids passed out as they sat around talking, drinking and now making smores. ryan had been looking a this phone for the past two hours waiting to heard from nico, but nothing had come in since he had landed and was about to go through customs. marie had been having a great evening, her favorite people all in one place once again. celebrating her birthday that evening, and now talking like old times. ryan and marie sat with one another, cuddling up to stay warm now that a chill had set in. "dude, put your phone down for the princess' birthday." brad said annoyed that ryan and been on his phone for the better half of two hours. marie glared at brad, "its alright brad. no harm done." she sighed. she had a love hate relationship with the nickname, but most importantly when it was said out loud by brad. it made her cringe somewhat. "hows new york, mc?" nate asked and marie smiled then frowned softly before her smile reappeared. "its going great! work is going well and stuff. i even joined a soccer league for fun, it'll start up in august." she said swirling her drink. "we'll have to catch a game before we head to training camp." sid offered and the others agreed. she smiled softly, before ryan untangled himself from her after he got a text message. nico had arrived. brad eyed ryan as he got up and walked into the house. kat smiled softly knowing what was going to happen and nudged brad in the side a bit. "its fine, let them be." kat whispered and brad rolled his eyes.
marie shut her eyes softly, just basking in this moment, this evening and few days she had taken off of work to be here. it had been far too long since the last time she'd been home, always using her summers to train in san diego before returning to school. she hadn't been home in 6 years and promised herself that she'd make it up here more, now that she lived in new york. "oh princess!" she heard ryan call from the house and she sighed, standing up and throwing the blanket onto the seat before heading inside. "yes grumpy prince?" she asked giggling before she froze, seeing nico. he had a hopeful yet loving gaze on his face as she looked at him with tears beginning to form. what was he doing here? she turned towards ryan who had begun to make his way out, and she pulled him back inside as he was already through the threshold. "wanna tell me why he's here ryan?!" she asked upset. "ask him-" and she cut him off, "no, you tell me!" she screamed now alerting some of the guys outside. nico stood on the other side of the kitchen, with a defeated look on his face with guilt and regret spreading throughout his body. "he cheated on me and you're going to invite him here, ryan? tell me why that was a good idea, huh?" she pestered as brad walked in. "no fucking way." he muttered staring down nico, and nico took a step back. "answer me!" she yelled at ryan who held his hands up in innocence. "marie-" she cut off her brother, "you knew?!" she said stepping back away from the two. "let him explain himself." ryan said as she looked at the two people she thought she could trust in this world. thankfully, so far nate and sid hadn't given her any reason to distrust them. "let him explain, please. if you still don't believe him or want him gone- ill-we'll get rid of him." brad said pleading to his baby sister and she sighed, arms crossing over her chest. she turned slowly towards nico who had a pleading look, and her heart twinged just a bit. "fine." she said and the two smiled widely, backing out into the back and brad shut the doors.
"follow me." she said walking past him and they began their dissent up the stairs. she opened the door and let him walk past her into the room, and she shut it behind them. she then went to the window and shut the blinds, but not before flipping the group off. she heard groans and a few 'fuck' as they all wanted to hear and see the drama unfold. "i didn't cheat, schatzi. i promise." he began and she shook her head, "alright bud." she said rubbing her eyes. "i didn't baby, you have to believe me." he began again and she shook her head again. "who was it, huh? somebody like your ex? was it somebody better than me? what did i do wrong, ni. what did i do to hurt you?" she questioned through a strained voice. nico shook his head, "you've never hurt me, you've never done a thing wrong. promise. the girl-"he chuckled pulling her hands into his, inching closer to her. "the girl was my sister, nina." he said a bit amused now. his eyes crinkled as he smiled, his dimples on full display as he looked into the eyes of the girl, he loved. "wait what?" marie asked in disbelief. "your sister?" she asked and he nodded. she looked down and nico quickly diffused her guilt, "schatzi its ok, i promise!" he said pulling her chin up to look at him. she shook her head, "i - i mis read things and i feel like an idiot." she hummed tearing her chin away. "misunderstanding." he hummed and she frowned. "im sorry." she said with tears beginning to form, "im an idiot. oh my god." she said and he pulled her info a hug. he kissed her head, rubbing her back softly. "im a fool, im a utter fool how could i be so daft?" she rambled in french and nico chuckled, "you two have thing for the word daft?" and marie cursed the universe for him knowing french. "wait, two? who?" she questioned pulling back to look up at him. "nico yelled at me yesterday." he said laughing now and marie had a concerned look on her face, "how bad?" and that made nico laugh even louder. whenever she needed back up, he was there to give it. she looked up at nico as his laughs subsided and she stood on her tip toes to kiss him. he pulled her in closer, leaning down a bit so her feet could be flat. they pulled apart, resting their foreheads on each others. "so, how much trouble am i with the guys outside?" he questioned softly and now it was her turn to laugh.
it was the next morning now and marie woke up to an empty bed, groaning before getting out of bed. she made her way over to the blinds and opened the blinds to see kat, patrices and david's girlfriend, and the kids on the patio eating breakfast while all the guys are missing. she squinted over towards the lake and she did a double take before seeing her brother's boat. it was a crowded boat, with all of them sitting facing one another. she spotted nico and prayed that the guys weren't going too hard on him. after the two spoke last night, they made there way downstairs for a bit before nico was on the verge of passing out due to the time difference. she quickly changed into a white t-shirt and linen pants, before heading down he stairs. "ti!" she heard rue screamed as she walked outside, and quickly made her way over towards the older girl. she wrapped her arms around the girl's legs before rue pulled her up for a hug. "good morning my girl." she said speaking in french as the two shared a small moment in the morning sun. "hows my favorite god daughter?" she hummed and kat laughed, "your only god daughter." she mused. marie giggled, "that's why she's my favorite." she said setting her back down in her height chair, and sat down on the bench with noah , patrice's son. "ouu cinnamon rolls!" the girl overly gushed, garnering some giggles from the kids. "ever the oldest child." kat teased and marie winked, "i take my role very seriously." she hummed.
the boat was on its way back now after a very stern talk with nico, unfortunately. basically threatening his very existence if he were to ever step out of line. the usual. oh, and that there was somebody or two on every team who would not hesitate to teach him a lesson. nico and the guys all got off onto the dock, with ryan running in front to get some cinnamon rolls- steal is more like it. "hey! that's for us." marie said swatting his hand away as he came up behind her, "i swear to god grumps, im gonna cut off your hand." she said quirking an eyebrow between the two's showdown. "good morning princess!" brad said placing a kiss on the girl's head before stealing a cinnamon roll himself. "hey, not fair!" ryan said and marie mimicked him, earning a chorus laugh from the kids. "im the one that brought them." brad said shrugging, "no i did." sid said and patrice shook his head, "you brought the original one's, i was told to pick up another dozen." patrice said picking up his youngest, felix. "yall are too much in the morning." she mumbled in french, standing up and walking inside to get some coffee. nico followed her into the kitchen to get a refill on his, to which she happily poured him some. "how bad was it?" she questioned, peering around him quickly and then looked back at him. he shrugged, "theyre just as scary in life as on ice." he said and she giggled. "yeah...they have no filter." she said pushing a strand of hair behind his ear. "tell me about 'nova scotia princess'." and she rolled her eyes, "the fairest of them all." he added with a grin and she growled loudly. "you inconceivable fools!" she yelled out, making her way outside. "im going to kill you all!!!!" she said looking at sid, nate, ryan and brad. she did a fake start towards brad before going after nate, "come here nathaniel!" she screamed running after the man, who was, unfortunately, being outrun by a 5'4 semi-retired defenceman. "somebody help me here!" nate called out and sid began his dissent, but she was too quick and made her way after him. "you are so getting in that water!" she screamed, referring to a tradition the 5 of them had. a surprise morning swim in the cold water. "its cold!" one of the kids screamed and marie laughed. "perfect!" she grinned. ryan tapped nico, "lets get our girl." ryan said nodding towards the brunette and nico smiled. "lets get her." and the two made their way towards the water where she was running after the two. "no!" she screamed as ryan almost grabbed the girl. "don't you dare!" she said jumping a few feet away from him. thankfully with sid and nate being neighbors, she freely began her way towards their places with the group following her. nico was the one closest to and almost grabbed her as well but she took a step to her right and was out of reach, "alright i gotta do it myself!" brad announced jogging over and marie knew it was game over. "not the old man!" she gasped, earning a few chuckles.
it was not brad who got the girl but nico, who was immediately instructed to drop her off the dock and into the lake. she screamed, cried, and kicked but unsuccessfully as she felt water hit her back. as she came up, everybody else decided it would be a great idea to also jump in. she covered her head momentarily before splashing water in all directions, "you! you traitor!" she said with astonishment as nico tried to get closer. ryan dunked her before she could say anything else, and nico laughed with the rest of them. she came back up and pushed ryan, "rude!" "the princess of nova scotia is officially home!" brad said as he made his way towards her, ready to splash her as well.
