#Black Hat Hackers For Hire AU

Been feeling temporarily okay and calmed down after feeling totally not-okay for 3 days straight, I brought this concept idea to you:

What if we have Batarou AU where Garou is a hacker who breaks some company's system or network, and Badd could be either the company's worker or a detective who has been sent by the company to catch Garou?

I thought about this because I think Garou nailed the "cunning and intelligent nerd" charisma and it would be awesome if he used his nerdy skill as a hacker.

Many people, especially the ones among the company (imagine it's an equal for Hero Association in this AU), would say that Garou is a black-hat hacker or malicious cracker. When in fact, actually Garou just a grey-hat hacker who likes to hack for fun or to troll.

Garou would try to discover a company's network vulnerability and messed with them, but he didn't have cruel intention. It's just his hobby, or maybe because he was trying to satisfy his curiosity about some valuable data from networks users and he tested their computer security.

Imagine if Badd and Garou are neighbours, and Badd is completely unaware if Garou was the one who hacked the company's network after all this time. He thought Garou is just, the unbelievable handsome nerdy bastard who lives next door and always being very flirtateous to him at any chance.

Of course Garou had already aware Badd was searching for the culprit, but it amused Garou that the cute grumpy man haven't consider him as that.

Imagine if Badd asked for Child Emperor's help to find the "WhiteWolf" hacker, but always being outsmarted by Garou.

Things got more serious when there's actual black-hats/crackers who breaks into the company's network security, stealing their valuable data and exploit it for the cracker's personal gain. I think this crackers would be an equal for Monster Association in this AU, under Psykos' order who is the genius black-hat hacker and mastermind.

Garou is the first one who realized this, as he accidentally found out about their existence with those malicious intents during his hacking time. He was in the middle of trying to search more information about this black-hat hacker, when Badd finally caught Garou red-handed. It was a mistake that Garou once invited Badd into his house, then maybe Badd has been observing the house interior and find some clue that Garou is currently working as a hacker.

After the whole misunderstanding, Garou admitted to Badd that it was him who had been breaking into the company's system, but he also cleared up that it wasn't him who destroyed or stole their data. It has been done by other people and Garou was trying to find them out. If Badd didn't report or caught him, Garou would help the company on free will, for the sake of Badd. In the end of negotiation, Badd was trying to cooperate with Garou without telling their little secret to his company.

Long short story, the "MA" hackers and its leader have been arrested for their crime. On the other hand, eventhough Badd kept the secret about Garou's status, someone from the company found out about it. Yet the company execs didn't report Garou and turned him in to the authority, instead he was hired as their white-hat hackers to keep the company's network security.

Now for the next, maybe a rival company (which could be an equal for Neo Heroes in this AU) has been trying to spy, doing surveillance, and stealing the company's valuable data? Garou is trying to protect the company using his hacking skill and Badd is trying to investigate the rival company?

I should put a disclaimer that I don't have any good knowledge about hacker and hacking at all, so I'm so sorry if there are many mistakes or innacuracy in this writing waaah 😅🙏💦

Anyways, this is another random headcanon that I've got from trying to distract myself from my depression. I hope you enjoyed this silly writing.. If somebody want to use this AU, I would offered it to you wholeheartedly! At least it would be on the good hands than me.. 👀😳👉👈

back at it again with the lame-ass AU’s

I recently watched Ocean’s 8 and you already know where I’m going with this soooooo

VOLTRON’S 8 AU

(no major spoilers, promise)

Lance is a criminal mastermind in a family of criminal masterminds

He’s the youngest, so he’s learnt from his siblings’ mistakes

But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t trip up sometimes as well

After seeing through his prison sentence of 5 years (thanks to his ex-girlfriend Nyma selling him out) Lance is ready to pull off the biggest heist in history

Stealing a 150 million dollar diamond necklace that hasn’t seen the light of day in over 50 years

But he’s gonna need a team of people that no one would suspect, all highly skilled in their professions and in need of this kind of money

So obvs he’s gonna go to Keith first because these two have been working together since forever

They were once a thing, but then Lance cheated on Keith with Nyma

They broke up, Keith told Lance Nyma was no good and whoops, wouldn’t ya know it. Keith was right

Anyway

Keith owns Club Marmora where he makes a decent living but it's not where his passion lies

He’s mainly doing it to save up enough money to get his mom out of jail

For once it’s a crime she didn’t commit

And, on the side, he’s been eyeing this cherry red ducati motorcycle for a long time

I’m talking 15-year-old-Keith-wanting-a-motorcycle kinda long time

So, Lance approaches Keith and, after a little persuasion, he’s willing to put their past behind him to do this job

SEXUAL TENSION ANYONE???

Despite Keith’s unsociable nature, he has a lot of connections and is good at observing people

Hence how he finds Pidge Gunderson, the wunderkind hacker

Lance is sceptical at first because this kid looks barely older than 14

Just keep in mind everyone’s in their mid 20′s here, Pidge is around 18-19

But then Pidge hacks into the seemingly tight-knit seal that is the security system of the museum

They’re instantly hired

Pidge has got a mouth on them

Is always seen with a green apple lollipop and their headphones

Do not touch their equipment. They will maim you and smile whilst doing so

Okay, so how are they gonna get this prized necklace out of its volt and at the Met Gala?

On the neck of the biggest DivaTM this side of the Universe

None other than Lotor Kingsley

He’s a model/actor who is known for his daring fashion choices and being a ditz (this is OOC, I know, and I don’t care because Drama Queen Lotor is a fav of mine)

He doesn’t care about gender norms so wearing a 150 million dollar diamond necklace is no biggie

And who is gonna make Lotor’s spectacular suit/dress to go with this necklace?

Coran Hieronymus Wimbleton Smythe

His designs were big in the 80′s but since his Singing-Cape line came out its been downhill ever since

He also may or may not be a fugitive from Austrailia. Maybe

So, a second chance at getting his name back in the industry and paying off his debt? Sign him the fuck up

Now, they need someone who is an expert on sparkly stuff

We know who is the expert on sparkly stuff

Allura Altea

She runs a very small jewellry store that was once her father’s and has always wanted to expand it but has never had the money

And now you’re letting her touch this necklace and get paid to do it? Hell yeah she’s gonna take this job

Cool, so we have a hacker, a designer, someone to break apart the necklace for easy transport

But we need someone with light fingers

Enter Romelle

Romelle does card tricks and pickpoketing on the street

Needs to support her brother Bandu who is in hospital

Good at what she does, although she’s looking for a fresh start for her and her brother

And Lance and Keith can offer that second chance

And now you’re probably wondering where Hunk is?

Hunk owns his own catering business

He used to work with Lance and Keith when they were younger on their smaller jobs but has supposedly “given up” on that life

But Lance can see right through him

Hunk is still doing jobs on the side selling tech for small-time swindlers for a good price

When Lance tells him what his cut would be, Hunk really can’t refuse

This means opening his own restraunt and he also can’t stand FOMO so yeah

So, we have our crew

But Lotor needs a date for the Met Gala

And guess who that lucky sucker is gonna be?

Nyma

Now obvs Keith is furious because you don’t do a job within a job, Lance

But Lance assures him it’s got nothing to do with petty revenge

It’s got everything to do with petty revenge

Lance is petty, he knows it, everybody knows it, so let’s move on, hm?

Team dynamics is a little shaky at first but eventually everyone starts warming up to each other

Coran is super nervous about getting this design right cause not only is this Lotor, but he’s also fucking terrible at lying

But Lance and Keith give him a few pointers, (albeit at the same time which is confusing guys, come one, give Coran a break)

But he does the trick

And this suit/dress (I say both because it’s kind of a mix between the two, the suit flares out into a skirt) is gorgous, probably his best work yet and if Lotor loves it? Then you know you’ve achieved the impossible

Lance knows a girl at Vogue who helps organise suits/dresses for everyone else as well

Lance is in a velvet navy blue suit, very simplistic although the jacket lining has a galaxy pattern

Plus his shoes are silver/metallic because why the fuck not

Keith donns a black-silk suit with embroidery roses on the jacket and with his hair tied up and the shirt open at the collar hot damn

Pidge is rocking an emerald green suit with tails and a top hat (no, its not for added height, fuck you Lance)

Hunk is lookin’ fine in a cream-white suit with gold-thread detailing all along the sleeves along with a bowtie because its cute okay

Something like this but also not (I have a feeling I’m gonna be drawing everyone in their outfits sometime soon...)

Coran looks... well it’s Coran so obvs its gonna be over the top but he still manages to pull it off and yes he’s wearing a cape because god-dammit they’ll never go out of style

Allura looks breathtaking

She’s wearing this and has stars in her hair and she is working it and no Romelle isn’t staring what are you talking about?

Speaking of Romelle, she is so pretty wtf

She is a disney princess done right

I’m talking cotton-candy pink tulle that looks like a cloud at sunset and Romelle is the sun (Allura’s words not mine)

Allura doesn’t even deny that she’s staring because look at Romelle, look at her holy

I can’t really say anymore without spoiling the movie, only that Shiro is the investigator and is also Keith’s cousin

He’s been fighting for Krolia because he knows her, he knows she didn’t commit the crime she’s been put away for

But obviously he’s conflicted now because this is his job but Keith and Krolia are family

Sigh... gotta make a choice Takashi

(1/14) another long one but I quite like this one, not sure how you feel about it tho! hacker and thief au with jimin. BTS is a crew of thieves who steal anything and everything for anyone who had the funds to hire them. They live a lavish life from the riches they earn off their crimes, indulging in partying, exotic cars and of course Gucci for th. you on the other hand, is a legend within the cyber world as one of the top black hat hackers who also works for hire. So when a kingpin of a

(2/14) syndicate hires both you and BTS for a joint operation, you meet jm for the first time through the cctv footage displayed on your desktop. Meeting at some secretive warehouse, BTS was expecting to be introduced to their employer and co-worker for this assignment, but was however met with a stack of files in an empty room and a huge computer screen. With the use of voice distortion, you briefed the crew on their hit job and monitored from your screen. But what had caught your eye was this    

(3/14) striking young man with silver hair that did not say a single word throughout the whole duration but just continuously and knowingly stared into the cctv camera as if he knew there was someone on the other side watching. tbh it kind of made you uncomfortable but you gotta admit he was cute, I mean it’s not often that you get an assignment with 7 really hot guys. Anyhow, on the day of the mission, you supervise from your den, hacking into security systems and monitoring the surroundings                  

(4/14) while BTS begin to infiltrate and steal the subject. Occasionally you’ll inform them of a bogey through their earpieces and quite often you’ll hear dad jokes (courteously of jin) and video game commentary (who else but jk) from the boys as they move through the building. Tbh they’re quite entertaining and you can’t help but smile a little, by far the best co-workers you’ve had. The boys have retrieved the subject and have all returned to the haven of their cars, except jm & th. th      

(5/14) goes out of sight on your screen and he doesn’t respond to your calling. Your desperately trying to find out whats happened to th and the boys have gone dead silent and nothing can be heard except the sound of your fingers rapidly hitting keys. That is until you hear this grunting from jm’s piece followed by not so pleasant sounds of possibly fractured bones and groaning from a foreign person. and not soon after that, you catch vision of a bloody nosed th and a disgruntled jm dashing out              

(6/14) of the building before joining the boys in their cars and zooming away. You must say, jm took you by surprise, you did not expect that little lump of fluff to have that much spunk, because I mean, last time you peeked *hacked* into their lounge at the top floor of some luxury hotel, you found the mochi curled up in a ball on the sofa playing with jk’s hair as he and th played video games. Basically ya’ll did such a good job that the kingpin decided to get you guys together again for a             

(7/14)another mission, obviously with higher commission because dollar dollar bruh! anyhow, many missions later (commissioned or independant), BTS obviously become curious about your identity and you’ve accumulated enough funds that you have excess for a new apartment. and coincidentally (what a lie), you move into the building adjacent to theirs, where your balcony has a direct view of jm’s balcony. and of course, jm’s caught sight of you a few times sipping on some tea and browsing on a laptop             

(8/14) on a late afternoon and tbh he’s been secretly enjoying the view for a while now. Okay so you guys happen to get another assignment and from the beginning you were a bit angsty for this one because there were just so many inconsistent factors, but you guys decide to go ahead with the plan anyways. So all is going okay until, you hear shots. 3 rounds fired total and your body freezes. The image of jm taking a bullet to the shoulder is fixated on your screen and you’re at a loss for words.             

(9/14) when jm is hoisted out of the building by nj and jin with the rest of the crew scrambling to cover their asses, youre dead silent and focused on solely your job of navigating them to a hospital. At the sound of tyres squealing to a stop, doors slamming close and the gps locator indicating that they’ve arrived at the nearby hospital, you reach out to switch off your entire system. Only after a few days do you find the courage to dial the digits of jm’s cell. A croaky voice picks up and you             

(10/14) freeze for a second. only after the second hello? do you muster up the courage to reply to him and ask in a soft voice how he’s holding up. and tbh he’s shocked, because 1. some random stranger is calling him and knows he’s been shot which probably means they know his identity, 2. this stranger has a really nice voice and 3. - wait hang on, he knows this tone of speech, hang on could this possibly be….? jm’s just like, omg i finally figured out who mastermind behind our missions and oml             

(11/14) it’s a girl, a girl with a really soothing voice and this boy is a bit in love. and jm unconsciously finds himself dialling or texting this number every once in a while when he just needs someone to speak to or after a mission where he’ll brag about his skills like hey did you see the way i shimmied past that laser in the hallway of the museum? and ur just like yeah jm, i saw because i was the one that was monitoring you and making sure your ass doesn’t trigger the alarm. BTS kind of             

(12/14)catch on that their jm is acting a bit strange, often hiding in his room to make phone calls or smiling at his phone. That and the fact that at every assignment briefing, jm seems to be very comfortable with the mysterious hacker. Only one day does jm blurt out your name and everyone is like eh?! and jms just like dude just drop the voice distorter already your voice is beautiful without that stupid thing. and BTS is like EHHH?! and jm is like oh crap that wasn’t meant to come out whoops.

(13/14) but you end up getting rid of the voice distorter and crew is just like holy crap its a girl, and regretting all the stupid shit they’ve said on their missions that you must’ve heard (but we all know yg was secretly regretting that one time he stopped to pet that puppy on the street, completely cooing over it forgetting that he had his ear piece on and that you were sitting on your balcony watching his every move taping the whole thing for future black mail uses). anyhow, one day, you’re                    

(14/14) sitting on your balcony sipping on some tea when you get a text from jm. a lil smile appears on your face and you continue to exchange. But little did you know that jm, who coincidentally happened to be looking out his balcony window, noticed that every time he sent a text to you, the girl in sitting across from him picks up her phone. highly suspicious, he dials and only when you pick up, he opens the door and steps out to his balcony and you guys lock eyes. (I cant write fluff 😅) -🥀

Voltron Leverage AU

So, I’ve been having Leverage AU team Voltron thoughts lately, and the amazingness of it is taking over my brain. Keep in mind I only watched about half of the first season of Leverage, so this might be a little off in terms of events.

Allura and Coran would definitely be the clients that hired all of them separately but had them work together to accomplish it. (Maybe the Lions were what they used to hire/lure them in?) Zarkon, Alfor’s former business partner, illegally took over their company when Alfor died and Allura wants it back, but when the courts were in Zarkon’s pocket… well, drastic action was required.

Shiro is the leader, a disgraced former agent of some sort (FBI, maybe?) that has chased everyone else at least once in a quest to catch them. He’s also the one good man that acts as everyone else’s moral compass, like Nate. He’s world weary and has lost his job when Allura approaches him with a request to coordinate a trouble shooting team. (He’s not impressed when he realizes she means she wants him to lead a group of world class thieves.)

Keith is unquestionably the hitter/retrieval specialist like Eliot here, both in terms of skills, longish hair, and lone wolf persona. He’s got the whole mysterious past, amazing skills, and looks like he can kill you with his pinky (he definitely can). Lance teases him about being short once. It doesn’t go well for Lance. (The rivalry here isn’t quite the same, mostly because they have different specialties. But Lance still hasn’t forgiven Keith for that one Picasso Keith got to before him. Keith didn’t even keep it!)

Lance is definitely the Sophie-esque grifter, and it was thinking about how he usually fails at hitting on people yet is still charming that got me started in this AU in the first place. Namely because, like Sophie, when he’s trying to flirt or act for fun/casually, he’s absolutely terrible at it, but he’s the best grifter you’ll ever meet on the job. The first time he meets Allura is a lot like in canon, except for how Allura is wondering how on earth Lance got the title of master grifter if he can’t even flirt? But then he’s on the job and is the literal smoothest.

Pidge is canonically a hacker, so she’s a shoe in for that job in the team. She’s small, young, has a history with Shiro that neither of them will talk about (namely that Matt was once Shiro’s partner and Shiro nearly freaks tf out when he realizes their tiny, gender ambiguous hacker is actually Matt’s younger sister Katie). She started hacking things at a young age for fun, and got really, really good at it really fast, until it became her preferred job. More of a gray hat to the others black hats, and still wants to find her older brother (who started her hacking in the first place).

People who have been paying attention will realize that all that’s left is the thief, and I nearly rearranged the whole team because Hunk and thief don’t really seem to work? But I can’t see Hunk as a hitter, either, and I finally realized Hunk is perfect as the thief specifically because who’s gonna believe the big boned, nice food lover is actually a world class thief? Shiro didn’t at first, and Hunk stole his wallet, company car, and the jewels Shiro had just recovered before Shiro figured it out.
