okok so i know ur asking for my favs but an anon also asked for recs so im gonna combine them in one ask

so for recs, starting off with some older classics

kabhi khushi kabhi gham, kal ho naa ho, kuch kuch hota hai (you have to HAVE to watch these first 3 its literally the law) and then main hoon na, 3 idiots, english vinglish (this one is emotional for me as a daughter of immigrants), devdas, judwaa, bhagban, jodhaa akbar, tare zameen par, yeh jawani hai deewani, bodyguard

and then for more newer ones,

my personal fav is badrinath ki dulhania, just bc idk i rly like the story and the character development of both of them — its not the best on this list but its still my all time fav / comfort movie

but also — padmaavat, bajirao mastani, kapoor and sons, gully boy, bang bang, bar bar dekho, heropanti, abcd (there's 3 and i like them all)

and yeah i think this is a rather good list for now KJASHGD

Turn Off The Lights by Panic! At The Disco

P!ATD has been one of my favourite bands for well over a decade and Vices and Virtues is one of my favourite albums of theirs too. It’s been a hot minute since I listened to it, but I know I love pretty much every song on here. Unfortunately. This song is a deleted bonus track on some ver specific versions of the album so it’s not on Spotify or anywhere online officially. 🙃 I could’ve gone for The Ballad of Mona Lisa or This Is Gospel, but for some reason, I just really like this song. It’s fun to sing too. Anyway brb, gonna go make a Panic! playlist real quick.

The Visitors by ABBA

I have a soft spot for ABBA, and they make me very nostalgic. Again, been a while since I had a proper ABBA jam sesh, but that’s a little bit intentional, precisely because they make me very nostalgic. I like a lot of the songs on this album too, but the title track just ✨hits different✨. It kinda sounds like…space? Idk how to explain it, it just slaps.

Tonight Is The Night by McFly

I had a phase for a few short months around 2014(ish) where I was really obsessed with them? Lol idk, anyway, they went on hiatus soon after, and then early last year I realised that they were back with a new album. I like a couple of the songs on it, this is one of them. It touches on the mental health struggles of Tom Fletcher and the band as a whole, and I’m pretty sure I heard that they went to group therapy during hiatus because they were having issues but didn’t want to disband and I truly just love that.

Tokyo Love Hotel by Rina Sawayama

Okay I don’t know if this is a favourite per se because I literally just heard this song today after a work friend recommended it, but listen, I wanted to have more than just BTS on here. It is a very pretty song tho, the music kinda sounds like stars? Sorry, I have a habit of describing sounds as abstract feelings I get when I look at celestial bodies and the elements.

Bonus Break: Tamma Tamma

I wanted a Hindi song on here okay 🙁 I just couldn’t find one I really liked that started with ‘T’. This song is a banger tho and is a reprise of a song from the 90s called “Tamma Tamma Loge” (which is also a very popular, iconic song in Bollywood pop culture). I also really like the movie it’s from - Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya.

Tear

In honour of me getting the Love Yourself: Tear album an hour ago, it’s only right that I include this. I know it’s called “Outro: Tear” on this one, but it’s just “Tear” on Love Yourself: Answer, so it works shush. I already really liked this song, but then I found out that Yoongi wrote it at the time that they were seriously considering disbanding and he cried when he took it to them. Which means that the loss of love that the song talks about, refers to the members and that just…makes me shed a tear, if you will.

One of Most Rewarding Trek! : Gaumukh Tapovan Trek

The Gaumukh Tapovan trek is an eight-day trek with ardent gifts of Mother Nature. It offers the best scenery perfect for adventure seekers. The main attraction here is the Gangotri Glacier that’s believed to be the mouth of River Ganga. This glacier is about 2.4 km wide and 30 km long that starts from Gaumukh and extends towards Chaukhamba massif near Badrinath. The top view offers a beautiful view of the backdrop of Mount Shivling. Vast green meadows are an ideal spot for camping. Shivling watches other stunning peaks like Bhagirathi twin peaks, and Mount Meru.

Gaumukh in English means “Cow’s mouth.” It’s one of the largest in the Himalayas with 27 cubic kilometers of volume. The famous area Gangotri Glacier and the Tapovan are popular tourist attractions. This area serves as the base camp for many mountaineers. Under Gaumukh Tapovan trek package comes lush green meadows, blooming flowers, and several streams cover this area. Pass through the narrow valley along the riverside over the green meadows. After a few kilometers, the trails turn into a rocky path. Most of the adventures start here. Walk on the rocks and granites along a sandy beach with granite stones. Camp at the beach to feel a unique experience. Follow the broken path to reach the foot of Gaumukh. There is a steep climb after this for 1000 feet that reaches you at Shivling peak base. Spot a few Babas here who are dedicated to Lord Shiva. Below Mount Shivling falls Tapovan; a high-altitude alpine meadow. It spreads for over 2 km in length. All areas here aren’t good for camping. The area near Mount Shivling remains wet during the peak of summer due to glaciers and melted snow. This area served as the meditating place for many sages. Several sages and holy men are still residing in Tapovan. The River Ganga is considered the most sacred in terms of Hindu mythology. It is the holy water of the Hindus. She came down to earth to offer new lives to men. The channel’s name is Bhagirathi whose enormous energy is controlled by Lord Shiva himself.

Magnificent Summit Views

The best part is the magnificent summit views. The summit view offers a great close view of Mount Shivling. It’s a captivating sight perfect for nature photography. Mount Shivling is the most beautiful mountain in the Himalayas. This magnificent mountain is marked on the golden calendar every year. Except for Mount Shivling, you can also watch the Bhagirathi sisters from down to top. The whole of Shivling and Bhagirathi dominates the landscapes.
