I do not remember #I seem to be doing better with the anemia tiredness #but then I had a stress-related flare up of my various health issues #handled the first one okay but the next day had a significantly worse stress #found out if I get stressed enough two days in a row while on long term steroids #I can crash really hard before it's time for my evening dose of steroids #I have learned better! I know now that if I start shaking badly and it's not low blood sugar it's 'take the next dose a little early' time #and I knew stress doses of steroids were a thing! I just though they were for physical stressors #despite me also knowing emotional stress can be an allergy trigger for me (yes I know that doesn't make sense) #(blame mast cell dysfunction) #it was only like an hour early and I have previously talked to my endocrinologist about stress doses #I just did not put two and two together lol #I'm okay now I'm just recovering and slowly hand quilting that baby quilt

#ive been informed my allergies are 'robust' #poor little med student looked at me like it was crazy when i ran them through how i control my allergies #mask outdoors wipe off pollen everytime i go inside change clothes and shower as soon as i get home #that doctor also has me on actually five different allergy medications not including the epipen #and i cant even be mad about it because they're very competent #oh yeah and allergy shots #people around me really dont seem to understand the severity or how much this impacts me #allergies just seem to be especially brushed off #ive been a little bummed about the whole allergy thing tbh #it sucks #disability #chronic illness #salt baby talks #oh yeah and i was mysteriously tachycardic at rest again #120 bpm after sitting for a while is NOT my normal

my roomates (group house, strangers to housemates) keep going places for their jobs and bringing back treats for me from other countries which is so sweet, but the first time one of them did this, they gave it to me publicly in front of all the roommates (there are many) and i was like hazelnut chocolate wafers so cool!!! thank you so much for thinking of me and getting me these hazelnut delights!!!!

so like. i'm allergic to nuts but at the time i was like omg!! love!!! my favorite!! so amazing!! so great!! cannot wait to try this brazilian tree nut!!! because my upbringing has no room for rejecting a gift or correcting a gift-giver's intentions.

but so now all my roommates always bring me back nutty things when they travel abroad because they think it's my favorite because i told them it was, so. kids, sometimes lying is worse.

Hey guys, if you could pray for me and my parents I'd be really grateful. The last cat in our old brigade, Tansy, is almost 15 and at the end of her days. She tends to get sick from allergies during the spring and she's had a rough winter and she's just, she's not going to make it through this time and she's been SUCH a good cat her whole life that we're not gonna let her suffer through it to the end. We're hoping we can get an appointment to get her put down tomorrow (that sounds awful saying it, but she's miserable and I can't watch her suffer she doesn't deserve that), so we would really appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

There’s something so comforting about hugging the stuffed dog i got for my birthday when i was 8 years old

It’s stuffing has fallen flat in a lot of places. It smells like dust. It should probably be washed, but probably shouldnt be because when i was younger i tried to cut a ‘shine rectangle’ in his nose so his stuffing may actually come out in the washing machine.

I remember so many times he comforted me as a child. All the times i cried, hugging him and drying my tears with his floppy ears, pretending he was a real dog comforting me. The times i fell asleep hugging him. The times i played with him

I also remember his name, Timber. Oh, Kiwi, you may say. Is he named timber because timber wolf and hes a dog? No, actually. I had just learned that lumberjacks in the forest yell Timber when they fell a tree and thought it would be funny if he got confused.
