HELLO FRIEND! Ughh I'm so mad I couldn't answer this ask before but tumblr genuinely wouldn't even let me open it at first:( I think I posted about that issue- I was also offline for a few days but im back <:D

IM SO GLAD YOU ASKED♡♡

These are my hcs for the og teachers, if you want to see the ones I have for my human AU too let me know :)

general hc for all of them: all of them dislike kids, except for Steak, and some of them suck at interacting with them.

Paige/Sketchbook:

-Their voice sounds a bit uninterested and annoyed in the first episode and I think they genuinely were.

-Got scared when things got weird. They weren't expecting all of that to happen.

-They're friends with almost all of the other teachers. They get along the best with Tony. They're a bit scared of Steak tho.

-They actually don't know shit about art, they just pretend to know💫

-They love to annoy Tony, they find it funny when he gets mad at them.

-They draw on themselves.

-They don't like using their legs most of the time, but they can. As seen in episode 6 they're just little black sticks like their arms.

Shrignold:

-More of a general hc but he worships the Malcom statue as a representation of the actual Malcom. Malcom is actually something among the lines of a God so he can't be seen or touched in reality.

-He has internalized homophobia, but he's gay himself. He just wouldn't act on it, it's against his beliefs.

-He's actually really good with kids. Thats how he got Yellow's "Special One" to join his cult.

-Doesn't mean he likes them, but he's an amazing manipulator.

-He will preach to anyone and I mean ANYONE, I do think he genuinely convinced Paige and Tony to join him by just talking with them.

-He's not aware of some of the creepy members of his cult (furry boy I'm looking at you) but he doesn't care either.

Tony:

-I actually posted a doodle of this but he hangs himself on the wall and behaves like an actual inanimate clock when he's mad at someone 💫

-That someone is Paige 80% of the time bc theyre annoying

-ANGER ISSUES

-Autistic!!

-He has no patience, asking him a question is like asking your dad to teach you math. He will yell, slam his hands against the table, get frustrated a hundred times and then he will apologize only if he feels like it.

-Not a good teacher at all, but he's good at keeping normal conversations. Just don't ask him any deep questions.

-The others don't understand him. Everyone considers him hard to deal with because of his short temper. He gets along the best with Paige and Colin.

Colin:

-Also autistic bc how could he not be

-Actually knows the darkest parts of the "digital world"/internet but just like in a common computer you won't get easy access to those.

-He was Roy's computer! He's a fairly old computer, Roy stopped using him when he became glitchy and only brought him back for the show.

-Is super slow most of the time, using him as an actual computer is frustrating.

-Yellow can use him to play old computer games tho, and he will if given a chance.

-Gets mad at Red preferring Laptop because Laptop is not glitchy, it makes him feel replaced and frustrated.

-Scared of bugs, no joke intended

Steak/Lamp chop:

-Literal BBQ dad

-The other teachers find him intimidating bc bro is huge.

-Spinach Can and Bread Boy are like his kids! And Fridge is always by his side, nobody knows if they're in love or just buddies.

-He doesn't speak to any of the other teachers or the main trio most of the time, he's happy with the healthy gang and feels like he doesn't need more than them.

-Spinach really looks up to him, they never leave his side. Steak will carry them everywhere and tell them bad jokes.

-Yellow wants to be picked up by him all the time, he doesn't find him scary, he just saw he's tall and now he wants up.

Larry/Lamp:

-Man was DRUNK while he was singing about dreams.

-Can't form coherent thoughts, ever.

-Shrignold loves to be around him bc he always listens. Truth is he's always kind of lost inside his own brain so that makes him a good listener.

-He's really strong physically but he's not aware of it, Yellow was really hurt when he grabbed him by the arm.

-He will fall asleep anywhere and anytime. He doesn't even care.

-He uses Colin as Google by asking him lots and lots of questions.

-No one can stand to be around him when he gets philosophical. And I mean no one. Not even Yellow. His philosophical questions don't even make any sense.

Bonus main trio hcs:

-Yellow is autistic and has ADHD :)

-He loves to be picked up!

-ofc he's a puppet but I hc him to be somewhere between 4 and 8 instead of being 48😃 bc... [SPOILER AHEAD] no way he went from being 38 to being 48 the same day on wakey wakey.

-Red is also autistic.

-He learned Yellow will stop crying if he carries him. So he does.

-Sometimes he'll sleep on his bed with him too if that means he can help him sleep better.

-Duck reads bedtime stories for Yellow.

-If he's talking too much Red will pick him up by the scruff of his neck as a kitten as a sweet and silent way of telling him to please please please shut up.

-He has a short temper, just like Tony.

we didn't "dogpile" anyone, what happened was somebody was posting, tagging seebs and commenting on posts, incessantly. specifically, falsely accusing seebs of being a pedo/defender, in response to seebs saying, very clearly, somebody who does not sexually assault children is preferable to somebody who does. it obviously was nonsensical, and I said to seebs that I didn't know exactly how, in the current political climate, people could go out falsely accusing random queer people of being pedos... then the random asshole started replying to my reblogs and telling me to unalive, then started sending me hate messages saying that too because, apparently, just saying "that's bullshit" warrants stupid harassment. having followers myself, this obviously led to those agreeing with me weighing in too, I can't and won't tell people to avoid expressing their opinions when someone harasses me. it's definitely not "calling me out" to send messages telling me that.

not to "they started it!!" but yeah, if I speak to someone about it actually being ridiculous that you're harassing them, and so you begin randomly harassing and suicide baiting me, I will respond.

again, you can see in the link, on every single post I used they, it explicitly says "any pronouns" and "I'm a boy and a girl" on there, meaning I didn't "correct" this person who said "she" because I'd literally read that it's fine to use that!! I said they were enabling a homophobic narrative, I said they prop up the "queers are pedos actually" bullshit by doing this, I made no claims of knowing any secret homophobia dwelling in their heart lmao. you read on the person's blog that I she/her'd them and didn't bother reading to discover that I actually didn't do that, you just believed their lies. reading the above linked posts will make it obvious how they are endlessly lying about the race of people involved and what they actually said - I didn't she/her them, and they cut up a sentence within seebs post, to imply something that clearly was not said.

not once did I deny their race or their status as trans/bi, again it simply is a crock of shit they're spinning, because they have this narrative to spin- I've linked back to everything said, I've made it absolutely clear time and time again, I've posted full screens for anything I referenced, whereas they keep vagueposting saying I misgendered them or called them white or even called them the pedophile (I did not, I was and am explicitly against doing that). everything they're claiming in their vagues is bullshit, and all the evidence is in actually reading the conversation, which is why I'll constantly link back to it and they'll constantly obfuscate it, bro. because nowhere did I deny they face bigotry, nowhere did I say anything about racefaking (white chicks is a movie about black dudes pretending to be white chicks, saying they talk as though they're auditioning for a remake is explicitly saying they're black talking like a white chick, please just go watch the damn movie).

being a pedo is okay as long as you're non-offending. like, yes I'll double down on that. heck, I'll go a step further, I think that any person who's committed a crime or harm deserves to have their liberty, life, happiness, etc, and shouldn't be tortured or harmed because of this stupid desire to punish everyone. I'm a victim of childhood sexual abuse and childhood abuse and torture when I was a child, and I put one abuser in prison, and it didn't help the person become better and kinder, they sent me what was really basically a love letter when they got out. I think a better system, where people get to learn how to be kind and then get a life that treats them well, is possible and should be strived for, and one a victim gets help to recover from what happened should also be, because right now the mental health system in my country (not america, which y'all also don't seem to have grasped) is dogshit. people who don't abuse kids are the outcome we want, so these pedophiles, they didn't choose to have that attraction, it is just a thing brains do sometimes, and when they don't rape kids that's literally the better outcome, that's the best outcome, because it really comes down to that or them raping kids- you can't read all minds in the world and detect the pedos and kill them, and that would be a fucking dystopian nightmare, so if you want to kill all pedos then you have to rely on them telling you they're pedos, I genuinely hope I don't have to explain to you why they wouldn't confess that to you if you were running the death squad. so that leaves us with either they don't rape kids, or they do. I like don't, personally. I think that's the better one. as someone who was an actual victim of childhood abuse. and additionally, two thirds of sexual abusers of children aren't pedos, according to the stats I found a while back, so eradicating pedos wouldn't fix the issues.

anyway, back to the topic at hand, it's not starting shit to make posts correcting the person lying about you, they started all the shits, every single shit I took was in response to the shits they're spewing out about me so fast that I'm worried about their toilet.

nowhere did I say "being queer is pedo apologia!" I said that the people falsely accusing random queer people of being pedos is feeding the "the gays are pedos! the transes are pedos!" lies the rightwing constantly spin right now. I'm not equating being gay whatsoever to being a pedo, I'm saying that people do, and that refusal to think about it while you lie and call random queer folk pedophiles for your internet tough guy points is just dangerous, potentially deadly, and feeding into rightwing talking points. it's another example of you refusing to actually read what I posted, similar to your little quip at the end that relies on the false claim there was a single moment where I denied that they're trans! to further demonstrate how bullshit it is, you should check who I'd compared them to... it was blaire white. a trans person. if what I posted relied on assuming people who disagree with me are cis, where would she fit into that? why would I bring her up? maybe because I specifically was saying them being trans makes those talking points all the more dangerous... because the right will be frothing at the mouth to say "even the queers agree with us!" so referencing an example of that happening is relevant. wait, that couldn't be the case, because that would mean I didn't call them cisgender at any point!! meanwhile they're calling natives white, everybody who disagrees with them white, implying we haven't faced homophobia/transphobia/biophobia ourselves, and lying through their teeth about everything, so look in the mirror, bruh.

OK P4 thoughts.... now that it's been like 18 hours...

overall... solid 8.5/10. i loveee murder mysteries

the dynamic between the characters carried the game more than anything

multiple moments where I laughed out loud so s/o to the writers

AND despite guessing the big twist from day one, I was pleasantly surprised by various other twists and turns in the story so yay :)

never before has a silent protagonist literally swayed my heart in such a way Yu Narukami you are my angelll

ok spoiler-y review below :)

okay. serious review time but keep in mind im fasting so like these are the rambles from that. i'll start with the positives :)

did not believe jordan when she said i would be adopting these children by the end yet here i am. every single character you met had such a sweet and profound relationship and dynamic with one another... it was so so sweet. truly the high point of the game is how the characters interact. Yukiko and Chie, Rise and Naoto, Rise and Yu, Teddie and Yosuke, Naoto and Kanji... even Yosuke and Yu..... like they were all so so so wonderfully crafted with one another... AND RISE WAS THE SHINING STARRRRR

Dojima and Nanako.... the way i thought they wouldn't have such a big role and then by the end i was crying . yeah. big bro . i love u .

I KNEW IT WAS ADACHI!!!! I LITERALLY CALLED IT FROM DAY ONE!!! DAY ONE!!!! I just couldnt stick why he was choosing the teenagers,.... hence why the twist with Namatane was so fucking good. S/O to Jordan and Fil who had to listen to me scream about how he was the killer without being able to shut me up.

Okay but in all seriousness Teddie becoming human was like the wildest part of the game like did no one else go ??

The soundtrack bangs. to be expected.

Yosuke's SL was my favorite... i dont know how teary eyed i got but whew. it was teary. the ending scene on the grass... yea... yea...

man. the icon. the star. Yu Narukami. I NEVER thought I would like the protagonist, at least not more than "he's cool", and yet by the end I was more sad than anything to say goodbye to him!!! i had so much joy playing as him, he was so funny, so loyal, his dialogue options we're just phenomenal. He felt like a real character in his own world despite never even talking. I think I'll miss him the most/

ok time for the bad stuff:

okay like atlus why do you do this thing where you create such a good amazing storyline about humanity and what makes you you only to drop the ball and opt to make things creepy or some form of phobic !!! like WHY!!!!!!!

Kanji's treatment was actually vileeeee . I hate how they chickened out in the last moment because instead of having a whole discussion abt homophobia internalized and otherwise you've just created a homophobic ass arc in the game that serves no purpose. like UGH. just go the full mile!!! go !!! let him understand there's nothing wrong wit him being gay!!! stop backing out!! You quite literally would've had a near perfect arc if you just went that extra mile and didn't make things weird !!!

also naoto........ don't even wanna trudge into the discourse here but he/him Naoto is where I stand idk. his story kinda felt really similar to my own when i was in my teens but... again...Atlus...

hey atlus can you make ONE game where there isn't 10 scenes of teenage boys being creeps or has some form of teenage fan service. please.

rlly sucks that i cant reccommend this game without caveats because atlus is.... ugh. but yes. i did enjoy it. it has some moments that are genuinely uncomfortable and made me go :///. but i can fix things as is my will as a writer etc etc.

yeah i think thats what i have for now. i loved playing this game but i think i'll love thinking abt it and plotting even more..... <33333

Gracklegorse & Kokichi wish to speak to Quarter about something, while she contemplates teaching the Clan communication skills.

The two medicine cats were able to gather mullein and raspberries this moon. Squirrelface eavesdrops on Brokenspots, who wonders how the medicine cat's mate is doing.

Haventail eavesdrops on Golddawn, who wishes to get to know the young warrior better.

Yewkit hopes Mudfur will tell him another story :3

Howlkit wishes cats would stop babying her. little ma'am you literally have the babyiest kit sprite idk what to tell you. you're baby.

Stoatskip wonders if StarClan can hear him, from the stars, Fawnroot is looking to visit him in a dream.

Quarter continues trying to meditate the strained relationship of the two medicine cats. Her work is starting to pay off, as while the two mollys still have a dislike for each other, their trust towards one another outweighs that dislike.

Patrols:

Kokichi decides to take charge on border patrol, and brings along Plumshine, Hazelbloom, and Stoatskip. Hazelbloom finds a loner, who offers their healing skills in exchange for shelter. The new medicine cat is welcomed to the clan.

Squirrelface and Stoatstalk decide to take Featherfoot with them herb gathering, Golddawn also decides to tag along. As the Mullein towers impressively over the other plants, it's a good time to harvest it. Squirrelface could swear there's usually mullein around here- but not this time.

Gracklegorse takes Haventail and Buzzardpoppy training, suggesting its a good time to practice some techniques. Unfortunately, no one steps up to teach. It's a little awkward, but the patrol disbands to attend to other duties.

Thoughts before the New Moon:

Sunstar thinks she's been hearing the voices of StarClan cats... what they saying bestie.

Quarter is eavesdropping on Kokichi, who's been a little hard on himself recently :(

Plumshine has been lazing around in their nest, and doesn't seem to want to change that anytime soon.

Stoatstalk carefully curates his appearance to be dazzling, but not too dazzling. Clan's apparent heartthrob gotta keep up those good looks

Haventail is being followed around camp by Sunstar's kits. awwwhhh

Mudfur is trying to tell the kits a tall tale, but Yewkit is busy playing with a stick, while his sister, Runnelkit, pesters Mudfur to play with her

From StarClan, Fawnroon has been following the growth of Gracklegorse

Fromt StarClan. Moonthistle has seen Haventail's future demise? excuse me? huh? h?

and thats only the Begining of worrisome thoughts from StarClan. its all downhill from here/hj

Moon 20:

Squirrelface wants to spend more time with Stoatstalk!!! YIPPIIIII

Sunstar feels like she can tell Stoatstalk anything... fambily...

Kokichi and Quarter bicker about something trivial. sadge

Yewkit had a disagreement with Featherfoot. bro why you beefing with a baby.

Gracklegorse settles near Sunstar to eat his fresh killlll oooooo they are wife and wiiiiiiiiife

Brokenspots has recovered from whitecough! yahoo!

Quarter, meanwhile. as a runny nose :(

Featherfoot also had a disagreement with Brokenspots bro WHAT is ur deal.

Quarter wants to explore the whole territory with Kokichi,,,,wowie,,,,

Thoughts and In-Camp actions:

With three cats working now, the medicine cats gathered a hefty amount of herbs this moon. Squirrelface gathered oak leaves and tansy, while Golddawn and Featherfoot gathered daisy and thyme respectively. Mudfur is given juniper to help treat her frostbite.

Sunstar has a crazed look in her eyes. girl? you good? did the kits not let you sleep or something??

Plumshine is watching over the kits <:3 thank u so nice

Gracklegorse begins assigning cats to a border patrol as Squirrelfaces checks up on all the warriors.

Stoatstalk feels happy knowing he's someone cats seek out to talk to :3 my little boy mr popular

Haventail needs a bit of time alone today…. and Sunstar's crazed look… girlies did Moonthistle talk to either of you in a dream recently-

Brokenspots wants to be chosen as the new deputy. girl you've been here 2 moons and Sunstar hasn't even lost ONE life yet. slow down

Runnelkit continues to pester older cats to play with her. Meanwhile, Howlkit seems to be cross with Yewkit about something. The sole son of the litter is too busy chasing his tail to notice.

From StarClan, Moonthistle is hoping to meet with a medicine cat soon buddy buddy whats going on

Quarter is quick to work on Squirrelface and Golddawn's relationship with the newest medicine cat. The last thing BumbleClan needs is all 3 medicine cats being cross with one another

Patrols:

With Brokenspots recovered from her whitecough, Buzzardpoppy and Haventail take her out to train together. Haventail suggests they practice hunting techniques. Everyone has a nice session and new tricks under their paw to try out next hunting patrol.

The medicine cats head out together to gather herbs. The gaggle of cats stroll through BumbleClan's territory, chatting amicably amongst themselves. It's a rare opportunity, for them to all be out like this together, and though the weather is poor and not really ideal for herb-gathering, each cat plans to make the most of it. It starts pouring while they're out, and even Golddawn has to admit defeat and lead them home.

Stoatskip, Kokichi, and Stoatstalk head out for the first border patrol. They hear the sound of barking and cautiously go to investigate. Near the border, they spot a dog chasing something. A cat! The patrol jumps to action to chase the dog off, a group of cats is much more powerful than one, and they convince the dog to flee with little difficulty. They go to check on the feline, but in their adrenaline haze take a swipe at Stoatstalk before running away.

The final patrol of the moon is lead by Gracklegorse, taking Plumshine and Hazelbloom with them. The patrol catches scent of a mouse nearby. Plumshine pinpoints the location of the prey and begins creeping forward. They're almost within pouncing distance when the mouse suddenly bolts. With a lash of their tail, Plumshine leaps forward, barely snagging it before it enters it's burrow.

Thoughts before the New Moon:

MOONTHISTLE. STOP FORSEEING DEMISES. YOURE SCARING ME. NOT YOUR BROTHER….

Fawnroot wants to warn Stoatskip. what that his brother saw his impending doom??

Gracklegorse feels a sense of dread. BESTIES what is going ON

Stoatskip is growing fond of Runnelkit :3 they're a fisty little one. that doesnt mean im letting u take on another apprentice SIR

SPEAKING OF RUNNELKIT shes pretending to be medicine cat ohhhhh ohhhhhhh

endless pspspsppss for Whisker to come join us. cmoooonn you know you wannnaaaa. also this is just my opinion. but i think featherfoot is just a bit of a dick. he needs to chill out

Moon 21: Leaf-bare begins

Stoatstalk itches uncomfortably, wishing his wound would just close up and heal already, but it seems to only be getting worse.

Mudfur's tail is finally gone. It was more of a relief than anything. The frostbitten flesh was already dead, so she had no issue taking it off before it fell off on it's own.

Runnelkit has gotten kittencough.

Squirrelface wishes she was as pretty as Haventail. ur bootiful to me and Stoatstalk its ok

Haventail awakes with a start. Fire. Fire was all she could remember. She rushes out of the warriors den with a start to find Buzzardpoppy and Hazelbloom at the fresh kill pile, asking what's wrong. Just a dream, the camp is safe, she's alive. Her mother and brother comfort her, and assure her that it's too cold of a season for fires.

Howlkit has a wonderful time discussing Clan happenings with Brokenspots :3

Featherfoot and Squirrelface spar in the clearing, Plumshine tries to get Golddawn to join in.

Buzzardpoppy and his sister are distracted from Mudfur's story, upsetting the elder. Haventail voices her anxieties in a way that puts off Squirrelface.

Quarter, now free of her running nose, tells Brokenspots of her old kittypet life, meaning for it to stay private. Brokenspots ends up telling another cat regardless.

Thoughts and In-Camp actions:

Also: the fire dream was written entirely by me, this is because i had to restart the game because the first instance of moon 21 had Haventail burned alive saving Stoatstalk from a fire. there was an extra thing of her brother reacting to her death and everything. litcherally traumatizing idc how much it makes sense with these demises prophecies that shit SUCKED

Brokenspots confindes in Quarter, asking the older cat to help keep up the warrior's good relationship with Howlkit, hoping to be chosen for the kit's mentor when the time comes. Quarter happily agrees.

Patrols:

The medicine cats head out to gather herbs, Haventail goes with them as an escort. BumbleClan can never had enough cobwebs, Squirrelface instructs the patrol, and leads them on a search for some, hoping to get more to treat her wounded mate. The medicine cat mrrps with laughter, watching Golddawn parade around with such a big bundle that her former mentor keeps colliding with things in her path she can't see. The entire patrol has gotten a wonderful haul, and it's a very pleased Squirrelface that leads them back to camp.

Gracklegrose leads border patrol, taking Plumshine, Kokichi, and Brokenspots with them. Kokichi finds a loner who offers their healing skills in exchange for shelter. She happily explains Bumbleclan, but after learning more, the loner politely declines.

Stoatskip takes Hazelbloom and Buzzardpoppy out to practice. His mate and the younger cat get into a disagreement regarding what Haventail's dream could have meant. Unable to come to a understanding, they look to Stoatskip to settle this. Stoatskip nods sympathetically, and is able to calm the cats down, convincing them to agree to disagree.

Thoughts before the New Moon:

Outside of BumbleClan, Whiskers sniffs around OatClan territory curiously.

Runnelkit was unable to fight off her kittencough. BumbleClan mourns their loss. Her last moments were spent sunbathing with Quarter and Buzzardpoppy. Gracklegorse takes her to be buried.

Shortly after Runnelkit's funeral, Plumshine brings a single kit into camp, they refuse to talk about it's origins, they name them Flowerkit.

Sunstar has healed from the strain of giving birth, but the hole Runnelkit left in her heart remains.

Stoatskip finds the way Haventail acts extremely uncomfrotable. Why is everyone suddenly mean to her. be nice to her right fucking now.

Featherfoot notices Gracklegorse hasn't been taking their health all too seriously. hmm idk maybe its the MOURNING his DAUGHTER

Hazelbloom tripped on a rabbit hole :( hurt him foot

Haventail wants to spend more time with Staotstalk! friendship :3

Thoughts and In-Camp actions:

Stoatstalk is given poppy and goldenrod to treat his infected injury.

The herb stores are inspected, and the medicine cats notice some of the ragwort gone bad, and make a note to look for some. Squirrelface had gathered some lungwort, but Featherfoot and Golddawn were unable to find anything.

Kokichi eavesdrops on Haventail, and notices her daughter is a bit gloomy today.

Despite his sprain, Hazelbloom tries to set a good example for the new kit.

Outside of BumbleClan. Whiskers was almost eaten by a monster- jesus christ thank god hes ok.

From the safety of his kittypet home, Razzle watches the clouds roll by.

From StarClan, Moonthistle hopes to meet with one of the medicine cats soon.

Quarter speaks with Haventail and Buzzardpoppy at their father's request, keeping an eye that the siblings stay close in these trying times.

Patrols:

Sunstar accompanies the medicine cats for an herb gathering run. With the motley assortment of Clanmates behind her, Golddawn heads out on patrol, searching for the ever-green, ever-reliable horsetail to harvest. But her work is once again effected by her distracted mind, and the patrol returns home empty-handed and snappy with each other.

Gracklegorse leads the patrol, taking Stoatskip, Haventail, and Plumshine with him. While walking along the border, they notice an OatClan patrol renewing their scent marks up ahead. The patrol leads give a quick nod of acknowledgement when they pass.

Kokichi leads the final patrol for the moon, going hunting with her son and Brokenspots. The patrol hears distant howls and goes to investigate, the sound leads them to a coyote, scavenging from a carcass. It notices the patrol before they are able to run and lunges forward, making it clear that this food has been claimed. Brokenspots' tail is momentarily caught between the coyote's teeth before Buzzardpoppy and Kokichi retaliate and drive it off their Clanmate.

Thoughts before the New Moon:

Featherfoot wonders how Howlkit is doing :(

Stoatskip is sparring with Clanmates, he also no longer has romantic ticks for Hazelbloom but still has one for Gracklegorse. Uh Oh.

Plumshine has been roped into play mossball with the kits :3

Outside of BumbleClan territory, Whisker stays in a Twoleg den for a couple of days for food and warmth. Meanwhile. Razzle exits his den to scratch at a tree he's been eyeing.

Mudfur privately requests a meditating session with Squirrelface to Quater, she happily agrees and helps the cat respect each other a bit more.

Patrols:

Sunstar and Gracklegorse go hunting with Plumshine. i reset the game bc gracklegorse died the same way moonthistle did. Plumshine encounters a porcupine and narrowly avoids it whipping it's tail towards them. The patrol gives the porcupine a wide berth.

Stoatskip takes Kokichi and Buzzardpoppy with him for border patrol. They track the scent of a large dog along the edge of BumbleClan territory. Stoatskip selflessly leads the lion's share of the run they lead the dog on, exhausting himself a dangerous amount, but leading the dog far away from BumbleClan borders. His Clanmates support him on the long walk home once it's all over, their purrs mixing with Stoatskip's exhausted pants.

Haventail follows the medicine cats with them to gather herbs. As Featherfoot pads through the territory, he senses a presence join them. The connection goes away as soon as it appears god DAMN IT YALL--

Thoughts before the New Moon:

Howlkit snuggles up to her worried mother, Sunstar watching over the kit cautiously.

Featherfoot checks in on the warriors, Squirrelface is grateful for the fellow medicine cat's help. Plumshine wonders if the she-cat has gotten any prophecies.

Brokenspots eavesdrops on her former mentor, who is setting a positive example for the soon-to-be apprentices alongside Hazelbloom and Kokichi.

From StarClan, Fawnroot plans to send a message, while Runnelkit is thinking of advice to give a medicine cat. oh baby :(

its at this point the hyperempathy started kicking in and my motivation for the game started to die down, so like 80 years later i finally get back to the next moon. thats just what happens when u get a game abt cat death while cat death is one of the most upsetting things u can experience

Moon 24: New leaf begins anew

As Howlpaw touches noses with her mother and now mentor, she hopes she'll get to do something great for the Clan. Like chase off a fox! That'll show the Clan she's the best apprentice ever! Her brother, Yewpaw, can't sit still as he touches noses with Kokichi, swearing to become the best warrior the Clan has ever seen.

While his original sprain has healed, Haventail as gotten a stomachache, alongside Buzzardpoppy, after sharing an old fresh kill together. Yewpaw has also gotten whitecough. Yewpaw. look at me. Don't You Dare

Stoatstalk and Squirrelface took a moonlit stroll together ooooooooo

Mudfur finds a bit of fluff that reminds her of Yewpaw, she considers gifting it to him.

Sunstar and Howlpaw heckle at other Clan cats at the gathering together. mother-daughter bonding... She also jokes with Brokenspots abt another Clan being stinky hold on as leader shouldnt you be a bit nicer-

The medicine cats were able to find a good amount of herbs the start of this moon, Squirrelface finding mullein, and the older cats gathering moss, cobwebs, goldenrod, and rosemary. Brokenspots tail is rapped up with more cobwebs, and Stoatstalk's claw-wound is treated with ragwort.

Sunstar thinks about forming an alliance. well you called at most two other Clans stinky and heckled at them so good luck w that bbgrl

Gracklegorse is unsure of what the rest of the Clan thinks of him as deputy :( naur not the old insecurities returning

After some careful thought, Quarter decided to given herself the full warrior name of Quartermoon, happily accepting that she will likely spend the rest of her life with BumbleClan.

Patrols:

Sunstar and Howlpaw go with the medicine cats to gather herbs. As newleaf brings green back to the world, Squirrelface has been anticipating the unfurling of new leaf buds on elder trees. The patrol goes to find a particular tree in a dip along the stream. Elder leaves being used to soothe sprains, while gathering them in a way that risks sprains, is truly one of StarClan's little ironies. Squirrelface shares a joke with the patrol, who all murrp in amusement, but also take it as a reminder for everyone to be careful as they strip leaves from the tree.

This precious little moment was also caught when I went back to look at camp. family...

Kokichi takes his kids out for a hunting trip. A rabbit startles the patrol while bursting out of it's cover, they rally almost instantly, and manage to corner and successfully capture the rabbit!

Gracklegorse takes the remaining warriors out to secure the border. While on their way, Staotskip notices some suspicious pawprints in the mud under the canopy. The tracks lead to a tresspassing rogue. Hazelbloom throws himself at the cat, hissing furiously, and with his partner they drive the rogue off BumbleClan territory. Gracklegorse gives them a nod of approval.

Howlpaw informs Quartermoon of Sunstar and Mudfur's argument earlier this moon, and the molly works quick to meditate the issue. The elder and leader are on stable terms once again.

Final Thoughts:

Sunstar dreads a meeting she must call later today. bbgrl whats up :(

Golddawn wonders how Stoatstalk is doing. The answer: He feels a sense of dread.

Haventail is feeling under appreciated... girl i appreciate u so fucking much

object terror is one of the best worst fucking object shows ive ever seen, literally the PRIME example of some edgy kid trying to make an object show that isnt ur grandmas object show. no. this is the REAL shit and they say SLURS and theres BLOOD and GORE (yes im serious theres blood and gore and death but itsnot that bad, definitely a bit shocking if u didnt expect it to happen tho)

theres also shitty voice acting and terrible mic quality galore, EX: theres a fucking cup that had this dogshit mic for the longest fucking time and it deadass sounded like bro was talking into a washing machine ohmy god, i remember there was a clip of him going around on twitter a while ago cuz of this (i think that was my first time seeing anything from OT too so theres that)

OH and theres cactus, i barely remember anything abt him but he had this fucking emotionless voice that made me HYSTERICAL. there was a scene where someone got him pissed and he said "you take that back" with. absolutely no emotion at all and since then me and my friends keep fucking quoting that line cuz its the funniest fucking shit ever

lex i wanna know your take on byler and will coming out bcs i’ve seen a lot of different takes like the duffer bros are homophobic for not making him come out this season or that it’s the 80’s so it’s harder

I think byler and will being closeted are literally an essential part of his character, ppl saying the duffer brothers are homophobic ar eliterally dense and im gonna talk ab robin too for a sec because with robins character it was different in the sense that she came out to steve-a guy she’d known for one summer that fell in love w her, a guy whos friendship she valued and a guy she knew was still in love w his ex and essentially using rob as a way to fill that void. When she came out to steve it was unspoken and he immediately understood what she meant and he accepted her as she was because truthfully thats A. A part of steves character and B. Emphasized their relationship as friends moving forward which served as the future plotpoints of steve wanting her to be happy but also of the whole rekindling an old flame with nancy bc steve had to accept snd realize that ol boy wasnt over his ex. Plus it made Robin an integral member of “the party” and Steve’s life as his best friend. Lets also keep in mind that robin has only ever come out to Steve and its a prevalent point that shes not coming out to anyone else bc “ill be the town pariah” ie homophobia and hate, not to mention the fetishization of lesbian women was still prominent in the 80s cornography industry like it is to this day, which from a consumerism perspective means that robin being “openly out of the closet” is easier to accept from a viewer perspective bc shes a woman-harsh truth but its a reality in most media.

With Byler and Will it’s different. Not to mention that Will being a gay male in the 80s (historical context: the aids epidemic + a DRASTIC rise in being outwardly hateful/homophobia) makes him feel like a mistake bc of everything around him telling him he is one. Him being closeted is almost an essential part of his character growth and development and his singular story arc as well, this is the kid who was known as ‘zombie boy’ and bullied his entire childhood-he already felt left out and left behind by his friends and his other peers. In season 3 when mike yells its not my fault you dont like girls its a direct reference to will being “behind” in terms of relationships but also its a read between the lines moment where the duffer brothers are telling you will byers is gay. He has that moment with jonathan in the pizza play and jonathan KNOWS his speech in the car about “el” was really about himself, his brother KNOWS he’s gay and he doesnt force him out of the closet or make him say it outloud (i think its almost a parallel to robin and steve w her coming out moment), instead he says that he loves him and nothing would ever change that.

I think theyve set it up for will to be in love with mike from the beginning of the series, mike was constantly there for will and constantly checking in/there when all the bad shit went down-it sets up will having a crush on mike rlly well honestly. Its the age ol classic gay trope of having a crush on your straight best friend. Which is genuinely realistic because it’s happened to so many gay ppl that its almost expected for a lot of baby gays (ie ppl who are starting to understand their sexualities past heteronormativity) to end up falling for someone whos straight-and in wills case its his best friend. Him being in love w his bestfriend whos straight and loves a girl, fits his storyline and its clear that this is gonna reflect in season 5 somehow.

Personally i think byler is cute, but the way the show is set up-Mike Wheeler is straight, hes not gonna fall for Will snd thats going to slowly break wills heart, but like i said-that normal for young queer people-its an almost universal experience for a lot of us. I think we also need to genuinely take a step back from toxic ship culture in fandoms bc not every gay ship is gonna fuckin happen 90% of the time they don’t happen-we all know this and ive seen ppl say they were queerbaited w byler but genuinely they werent, mike wheeler isnt gay, he isnt bisexual, and thats OKAY, i think wills closeted experience is honestly well done, like yea he bitches a lot and hes kind of a pussy but eh the kid was traumatized so he has the right to be a pussy. His closeted experience reflects a general experience that he has to go through in order to eventually accept himself and embrace who he is. If he wouldve come out this season his character development wouldve been rushed and odds are his friendship w mike and the moment from the van or in the pizza shop wouldnt have happened.

You're usually so big brained but you honestly believe that if these past women and lesbians who literally weren't allowed to live full lives without concealing themselves as men can be categorised as "trans"? When the choice was to either appear as a man or have their lives ruined and achievements erased? When in the modern sense "trans" is about inner feelings instead of an actual effort in passing? These past women didn't feel like men, they HAD to appear as men because society didn't allow women to do anything. Such a need doesn't reflect the current trans community's hypervisibility. Calling them trans is an insulting misnomer

hmm so i have several points on this.

can you define transgender? bc if it's not someone of one sex assigned the corresponding gender role at birth who chooses to pass as the opposite sex in order to live in the opposite gender role, then I don't see what it could possibly be. unless it's going to be "someone who identifies as trangender", in which case. well. we know how that kind of definition goes.

like i said, you can speculate on motives all you like. many women in days gone by absolutely chose to live as men bc they weren't allowed to live full lives as women, particularly as lesbian women. the thing is. many women in the modern age make the SAME decision for, subconsciously or consciously, the same reasons. like this is obviously not something commonly admitted by current transmen (for lack of a better phrase lol) but is smthn reaaaally often discussed by detrans women. for the amount of 'transmen are just women/lesbians who want to escape sexism/homophobia' often cited in radblr circles, im always confused by. 'this woman/lesbian who wanted to escape sexism/homophobia cannot possibly be a transman'

btw yes i KNOW im always going on abt how the cis/trans dichotomy isnt real but listen. the grey areas of trans identity politics in the modern age isnt at all whats being discussed here like this isnt abt calling someone like joan of arc trans for being a woman who wore mens attire. again we are talking abt people of the female sex who literally lived as and passed as men like thats. i cannot stress enough that is like the entire definition of a transman. even if that word wasn't around in their era for them to self-identify with.
