Which bot(s) would you vibe with if you were a Lost Light crew member? Who would you loathe?

Oooh this is a fun question!!

Man that's a toughie. There's an immediate urge to just list my favs buuuuut my IRL tastes vs my Fictional tastes can differ. I'm still working through mtmte so I know there's characters I haven't met yet and I might not grasp the entirety of a character's personality but uhhh

I feel like if IRL If was a Lost Light crew member I'd vibe with maybe Nautica, First Aid, Rewind, and/or Rung? They're rad and kinda remind me a bit of some IRL friends I have. I love Skids but I can't get too much of a grip on his personality so I can't say whether or not we'd get along with 100% confidence but I think we would? And maybe Ten? We can vibe on art stuff.

I could maybe see a potential friendship with Ratchet, and/or Drift developing if we happened to work together a fair bit or exist in the same space enough. A friendship could happen but it would kinda depend on if they liked me.

But oh man who would I loathe?

Probably Megatron.

He's not on the Lost Light but does Prowl count?

But those answers feel too easy.

I don't think this counts as loathe but I'd be like.. constantly nervous around Magnus. I find the super strict rule following stern leader type people a bit intimidating. Which is funny cause I'm not one who actively chooses to break rules for funsies. I just am very bad at handling the potential of disapproval djfhrudje. I'm absolutely the person who feels guilt, despite the fact that I haven't done anything, when a cop car drives by. I'd probably be constantly worried that I'm breaking a rule I don't know about around Magnus.

Rodimus is a toughie. He'd either drive me up the wall or be the friend who causes problems but has your back and sometimes causes problems for your benefit. My experience with people who kinda remind me of Roddy can go either way. It would really depend on if they liked me.

I'm also not sure about Swerve. I think I need to read about him further in MtMtE and Lost Light before I can say whether or not I like him. But he sorta reminds me of a dude who kinda made middleschool rough for me so idk?

20.) Which depiction of earth in a tf media do you most want to live in? Does the answer vary depending on if you’re human or cybertronian?

Oooh this is a toughie. And that's a good question!

If I were a cybertronian I'd probably want to live in the.... Cyberverse universe's earth? Unless my memory is incorrect, if so feel free to correct me, but they do/can go back to Cybertron right? They have space travel and more resources so there's some freedom there. Anyways it seems like it's the one with the most intact cybertron I think and seems to not be so deep in the war where everything is desolate and tragic like in TfP. And the governing powers don't seem as sketchy as the higher up TFA Autobots kinda seem to be.

If I were human hmm.. Probably Earthspark. Openly vibing with cybertronians hell yee. Or maybe Rescue Bots? I haven't read enough of the Forged to Fight stoy to say with certainty if I'd choose that one or not too but it seems like humans vibe on space adventures with cybertronians which? Could be cool as well!

Bear in mind I'm going by memory so I could totally be off base 😂

2. Which tf character design do you think would work better with a different color pallet? Draw them in that color pallet if you want to!

I've got OPINIONS about this which I might actually draw out eventually if I remember to explore this more.

The first one is a character that both you and I think should have a different colour pallet. Alpha Trion

Alpha Trion: My ideal colour pallette for him would be aged yellow (like old book pages), white, and brown with light blue accents

Bluestreak: I'm begging for him to be blue

Hook: Silver, Red, with orangey/rust coloured accents.

3. Which tf character is your favorite in terms of design?

Ohhh man this is a hard one. There's so many pretty ones aaaaaaa.

I think I gotta give it to TfP Soundwave for this one. He's so very shape and so spooky looking. It really tickles my love of monsters/cryptids.

Hmm. If I'm a cybertronian I vote Cyberverse. I believe cybertron has the most optimistic future in Cyberverse as far as I remember?

If I'm a human... Hmmm.. Maybe forged to fight? Idk man I don't super know the story well I just wanna go on fun space adventures with giant robot friends.

Honestly the handling of the microns was uh. Not great in armada but I can’t deny that it’s kind of hilarious how everyone’s like “oh but the microns!!! They don’t want to do a Violence!!!” and then the microns turn around and steal a gatling gun

It's so wild how wide it missed the mark. Then again a running theme for Transformers content in general is: handling delicate shit really poorly. So at least it's not alone./s

For the Character Opinion Bingo: Bayverse Optimus and Cyberverse Windblade? :)

I like Cyberverse Windblade! She's badass. She's smart. And it's rad to see more female leads in TF media! Optimistpax has made me aware of just how cool city speaker lore could be if they'd explored it more and so I'm on board the "give us more cityspeaker lore" train.

Before peeps @ me please know I'm basing this off Optimus in the first Bayverse movie. Dncje. I have only seen the first... three? Bayverse movies but I only remember the first one with any mount of clarity so Dncje. The bots in general should have had more screentime. It should not have taken that long for them to show up imo.

Also I'm still a bit salty at Optimus being so quick to sacrifice Bumblebee. And yes I have considered all the reasons why he thought it necessary. Even considering those factors it just didn't sit right with me as a thing Optimus would give up on so fast. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This isnt even a question (I just figured I'd say something in general bc your reblog said you're bored) but I just discovered an energy drink called C4 that's flavored like pink Starbursts (but its zero sugar so not really) and there's Literally a blurb on the back that includes the words "Within minutes of drinking C4, you may feel a tingling sensation" and I, in a fit of utter normalcy and sanity, dumped some strawberry creme liqueur into it so now it tastes EXACTLY LIKE PINK STARBURSTS but it's also. Like. A supersonic 4loko so uh. Maybe not a good idea but Roddy would be proud of me (now, Swerve, on the other hand...)

Soundwave for the character opinion bingo? :)

Since this is general Soundwave I'm gonna do the Soundwaves I've seen so far. Order of these isn't a ranking but it's the order I was exposed to them.

Aligned Soundwave deserved better. Woulda been so rad to learn more about him and have episodes centred around him. Also I wanted to see him being badass in fights more often. Pls.

Tfp Soundwave has my favourite design between all the soundwaves

Also the horror potential Soundwave coulda been used for?!? Wasted.

I think TFA Soundwave had a cool concept. Would have loved to see it explored more!

Cyberverse Soundwave is fantastic on his own. But he absolutely rocks when he's paired with Hot Rod and Shockwave in episodes to bounce off eachother. The SoundRod is real with this one. Enddj.

Still debating whether I should circle "deserved more screentime" or not. Cause technically I think he got a solid amount of screentime. But emotionally I want way more of him. 😔

I'm also tempted to circle the "Wow he's a terrible person" one but like? I can't remember him being especially horrible he's just like... A dude no one wants to hang around because he's kind of a jerk. 🤔

G1 for the heck of it. I've only seen the first eleven episodes of G1 + the movie tho so maybe some of my answers will change the more I watch?

LEMME EXPLAIN WHAT I MEAN BY "WASTED POTENTIAL" and "Didn't get enough screentime"

I think the screentime we got of him was great and not wasted.

The wasted potential is killing him off in the way they did.

He kinda just let?? Himself? Die? When there really wasn't any particular reason for him to die. It wasn't really a sacrifice for Windblade or Cybertron. He essentially saw death coming and then just... Didn't move off the tracks.

Idk man.

I love him v much tho and would have loved to see even more of him.
