What was the show or interview where I think maybe it was at Schneider's home and he was having dinner with I think his wife and other people and talked about how he doesn't like cooking?

Love the anon asks that really make me dig into stuff, because i knew the screenshots, but now i watched that whole program, and for all the non-German speaking Tumblrers, this one is with english subtitles 🌺

It's called "Sarah's Prelude & Food" and it's a sort of cooking show, but more a dinner party with classical musicians

Main guest of this episode is opera singer Anna Prohaska. who is quite a petite person, but has a great voice (she performs a couple of songs on the show; if you don't like classical music, at least listen to her 'Danny Boy' at the end ❤️)

Anyway, Anna happens to be a big fan of rockmusic and was a Rammstein fan from a young age, and she played Rammstein in Berlin to her dad who happened to work in the Berlin music world. When in the credits it said costumes by 'Constanze Schneider', the dad said, "hey we had our costumes done by Constanze Schneider and she was a daughter of one of my colleagues", so he called the colleague to ask if maybe his son was in a band? Well, yes he was 😊

And Anna and Christoph met a long time ago through their mutual dad connection, but hadn't seen eachother since. So Schneider (who introduces himself as 'Christoph') is on this show as a surprise guest for Anna

He is invited to help with the cooking but nope 😊

But for being 'just a guest for the guest' he gets to talk quite a lot too, telling about both his parents being in the music business

*not* wanting to talk about cutting his hair (but the band likes it) 🥰

about his special pyro drumstick (which ruined his drumkit 🔥)

and okay, helping a little with bringing food to the table, and about being a vegetarian (and not eating after a show, because you don't burn those calories 😊)

And lots more to enjoy...he's such a gentle guy 🥰 at least when he's in gentle company 🥰

The Glyndebourne Hippolyte et Aricie (or “Fridge Rameau” as I fondly call it) is so near to my heart that the Staatsoper Unter den Linden’s brainy new production is a tough sell to me. (Apparently it has something to do with “post-humanism and the Anthropocene”? And mirrors and lasers.) So I don’t know that I will watch the livestream this Saturday—which seems to be geoblocked, by the way. But folks should know about it; the music sounds fantastic in this preview clip.
