Figuratively Hot: Michael, Helen, Mike Crew, Elias, Peter, Anabelle, Slaughter!Melanie, Hunt!Daisy, Lonely!Martin and/or Web!Martin, Archivist!Jon.

Literally Hot: Jude, Agnes.

Not Hot: Jane Prentiss, Jared Hopworth, Nikola.

No opinion: Julia and Trevor, Oliver Banks, Simon Fairchild.

If we're going by the proposed speculation that the tumblr block is doing it to the tags that are most blocked by the users of the platform, then it would be funny if some of the ones on the list were actual tma characters who automatically come with their special tw's like #jane prentiss or #anabelle cane or #jared hopworth etc.

I’m near the end of series 3 of the Magnus archives and I’m still super enjoying it! But MAN are things getting complex! I’m having a bit of a hard time keeping track of all the characters and the entities and which entities are against each other and have attacked the institute and know Gertrude and... ahh I’m a mess

I feel you dude, there’s so many things to keep an eye out for. The Wiki is super useful for searching info. I use it a lot.

There’s 14 entities. None of them are exactly “against each other” the way I see it, it’s more like the Avatars act on their own will. However there are some that are closer to others and viceversa. I think this is explained better in season 4? I’m not sure, timelines aren’t my forte.

The Buried: The main thing about this one is the Coffin, I’d say.

The Corruption: Jane Prentiss served this entity; she’s the one that attacked the Institute in season 1 (I think it was season 1? lol)

The Dark: The Avatars of this entity are the Church of the Divine Host (do not mistake with the next one)

The Desolation: The Avatars of this entity are the Cult of the Lightless Flame (it took me a while to separate the two groups but yeah, they serve different powers)

The End: The main Avatar is Oliver Banks, I’d say.

The Eye: AKA The Beholding.

The Flesh: Main Avatar would be Jared Hopworth IMO, who has many jobs and appears a lot throughout the series although it took me a while to catch up on “oh, this is the same dude” because he just does so many fucking things lol

The Hunt: These bitches have “me-against-the-world” mentality. Some join in packs but they also fight each other... they fight everyone, from every entity lol they just like to hunt I guess.

The Lonely: The Lukas family is the main Avatar. Peter Lukas is the most important for the show at that point.

The Slaughter: AKA “fuck around and find out” but the find out part is you always get stabbed.

The Spiral: All these bitches do is be trans, eat Hot Chip and LIE. Main Avatars being Michael Shelley and Helen the real estate agent.

The Stranger: The Circus of the Other. Nikola and Breekon & Hope are the most important avatars.

The Vast: The Fairchilds (Simon Fairchild is the most important) and Mike Crew are the Avatars. Mike is the dude who got struck by lightning.

The Web: These bitches also lie and scheme but they’re not nearly as funny as the Spiral dudes. Main Avatar is Anabelle Cane. Spiders are creepy.

There is also the belief that another Fear is rising called The Extinction, but you’ll get to that in season 4. I know this isn’t a super clear and complete list but I hope you can come to it whenever you need to see some of the most common names or you can see what the Entities names are!
