(like doing a spell that Alcina her daughters and no longer harmed by the cold and removing Donna her scar )

Also, Reader is like Alexandra Trese in these just because when I saw this, I immediately thought of her.

Meaning Reader uses a dagger to use spells/chants instead of a wand.

You went to the village as a traveler at first. Curious by the fact that it was so isolated and a certain something can be felt in the air.

You got curious because everyone seems happy but there was something wrong. You were extremely curious of the Castle southern of the village. It was just so big and it reminded you of something.

You gulp as you walk through the road into the castle. If you thought the Village, this was worse.

"Bathala, what the fuck?" You ask no one as you stare at the massive structure.

"A visitor? What fresh prey." You hear someone say and you sigh. Because you just arrived. For fuck's sake. Can't anyone give you a break?

"Try to make me a prey and you'll meet your end." You say as you raise your dagger. Cassandra immediately jumps back and hisses at you. You scratch your head. Because this one just seemed completely empty. What the fuck is going on?

"Are you the only one here? Do you have other people living here?"

"Why do you want to know? Who are you?" You shrug.

"I'm just a witch? I guess? It's not something I call myself but most people do." She gulps as you let your eyes roam. Someone tries to jump you with a sickle but you quickly dodge their attempt.

All three girls glare at you and you sigh. "Look I don't mean any harm. I'm just curious. You guys are weird." You sheathe your dagger.

"What do you mean by weird? Just because-"

"You guys have a certain bloodlust to you. Not only that but you're... you're empty."

"Empty?"

"I can't explain it that well, right now. Are you guys it? There's no one else?" They look at each other. Daniela was the one who decided to bring you to Alcina. Bela tried to argue to her but she was adamant. And Cassandra just glared at you the whole time.

You whistle in appreciation as you enter the castle. "Wow." Daniela smiles at you but drags you still to Alcina's room. Alcina flinches when Daniela knocks on her room.

"What is it? Is there something you need?"

"I brought someone, mother." Daniela hesitated as she looks at you. "She wanted to see you." You get inside and gulp. Alcina was massive and she was towering over you.

"What business do you have with me? Better make it fast or you-" You quickly grab her hand and note her cold body temperature. Then you trace her arm as you feel the mana. It was weak but it was there and something else. "What are you-" You pull her down to your level and she stumbles. She was surprised by your strength. You sigh as you see the Cadou parasite inside her body.

"What did you do?" Alcina snarls as she frees herself from your grasp.

"What do you-" You cut her off again and she glares at you.

"I need at least four weeks to get the antidote right. Do you have any journals for the parasite in your body or your daughters?"

"Antidote?" You nod absentmindedly as you get your journal from your bag.

"Yeah. No more need for blood or flesh. I'm only assuming since your daughters really need to clean themselves up."

"No more?" You hum then close your journal. You smile at her.

"No more."

During the next four weeks, you've bonded with the three girls and Alcina herself.

They love your stories of your own country. The creatures you've dealt with and befriended.

Alcina never thought it would be possible for her heart to beat faster again in the presence of another person but here you are.

The four of them eye your concocted potion as you present it.

"It's something that I learned from my lola. It can heal even the most cruel diseases." The one who decided to be brave first was Alcina herself. She wanted to be the one to test your antidote before letting her daughters try it.

As she finishes her vial, she can already tell the difference. The bloodlust isn't there anymore. And it was as if the Cadou parasite had died. She doesn't speak but looks at you and you grin while giving her a peace sign.

Daniela was the second one, quickly mirroring her mother. Bela still eyed it warily but decided to drink it as well. Cassandra follows her sisters.

And suddenly, they look at you. Bela cries as she hugs you while Daniela laughs as she joins in. Cassandra is uncharacteristically quiet as she waits for her two sisters to finish then hugs you as well.

"Well? Want to go to the beach?" Daniela squeals as she nods excitedly at you.

You enjoyed a beach day with the four of them and even taught them how to properly swim.

That night, Alcina invited you to have a private dinner with her. You accepted it and you tried your best to calm down your beating heart.

She confesses her feelings to you and you cry as you accept. The truth was, you've already fallen for her the moment you saw her. It was love at first sight.

As the two of you develop your feelings with each other. The three girls are your main supporters. They even wanted to learn spells and chants from you.

You help everyone in the village except for Mother Miranda since you quietly resented her.

When Ethan arrived, you evacuated everyone before they were turned into Lycans. Ethan was so confused that the Village was so empty. Except for a smiling young woman who called herself a babaylan.

You helped him get Rose back and as everyone go back to their own homes, You run to greet your wife and your three daughters.

Donna Beneviento

You came to the Village as you were travelling all over the world. You wanted to learn everything you can learn. Different spells, potions or creatures.

You were staying with Luiza, because she volunteered to host you as you stay.

You crossed paths with Donna when you were going home. You accidentally knocked her veil off and Angie screeched at you. Donna quickly wears her veil and runs away, leaving a dumbfounded you.

The next day, you decided to apologize so you knocked on her house. Angie scoffs at you and you tried your best to appease her.

She lets you in and takes you to Donna. Donna tried to turn you away but you were stubborn. You cooked them some food that they both liked.

"It's from my country! I'm so glad you liked it!"

Ever since then you would visit almost everyday to either give them food or just chat with Donna. Luiza even teases you about moving to the Beneviento house.

One day, you convinced Donna to show you her scar. She was scared but trusted you.

She showed you and you caress her face.

"Do you want me to remove it? Along with the parasite inside you?" She was surprised that you even knew about it and you explain.

"I'm a witch. I know things." You move to the Beneviento house to focus on the potion. You spent everyday by Donna's side.

When you finished the potion, you smile at her. She trusted you so she drank it without hesitation.

Her face was restored. She was so happy that she began hugging you. You pull back and properly kiss her.

Her ability to control the dolls were not taken away at all.

"The potion only takes away the bad effects and the parasite itself. The good ones stay intact." You explain.

You convince Donna to travel around the world and she happily accepted. You both learned about many cultures, different languages and plenty of stories.

You both spend away your lifetime being happy and together.

Darren Criss Suits Up In Francis Libiran For His Christmas Soundtrack, A Very Darren Crissmas

It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas.

Following the success of Masquerade, Darren Criss is extra prolific in the music department this year as he is set to spread Christmas cheer with the release of his holiday-themed album, A Very Darren Crissmas.

While it can be greatly argued that all things considered, it doesn’t quite feel like the holidays just yet, especially in the strictest sense of Filipino culture, it is beginning to sound a lot like Christmas for sure. Just like clockwork, the spirit of the season was soundtracked by the likes of Mariah Carey, Jose Mari Chan, and of course, the good ‘ol classics, the onset of the ber months immediately felt warm, nostalgic, and even for a little bit, joyful. Whether it be more traditional or pop-laced, or if you are a fan of the holidays, there is something comforting about carols and songs particular to Christmas, so much so that for the longest time, musicians find some sort of success when they release yuletide-themed music. Joining the bandwagon, or dare we say, the sleigh, is Darren Criss, as he is set to release A Very Darren Crissmas.

“It really was only a matter time,” writes Darren Criss on Instagram ahead of the release of A Very Darren Crissmas. “I always knew that if I ever made Christmas album, it would have to be much more than just a collection of songs you already knew.” True enough, following the reveal of the holiday compilation tracklist, there are a few standards, but in a prolific effort, the originals stand out more, featuring self-penned tracks and interesting collaborations (Adam Lambert, Evan Rachel Wood, Lainey Wilson). “With songs you know, songs you don’t, songs you thought you knew…and songs you never knew you needed,” as the teaser of the tracks says, this musical undertaking is not only carefully thought of, but close to his heart as well.

Taking On Christmas Cheer

“I’d want it to be a journey through songs that not only had a personal significance to my life, but also a unique introduction to songs folks had never heard before, and a re-introduction to a few they might think they know—but have never considered differently,” Darren Criss further expands on the premise of A Very Darren Crissmas. “Every eclectic choice led this album to feel astutely true to its namesake: a very, indisputably, ‘me’ Christmas.”

Making it even more unique to himself and his definition of the holidays, the album art features Darren Criss as different members of his own family. With nothing more Christmas-y than that, the award-winning actor, musician (who also just recently released, Masquerade), and OG StarKid is seen in a very holiday image where he is dressed up as his late father, his mother, his brother Chuck, and his younger self. Sitting by the piano holding out a plate of treats is present-day Darren Criss, suited up in robe-like formal in marsala brocade by Filipino designer, Francis Libiran.

Always loud and proud about his Filipino roots, Darren Criss has been known to honor his heritage whenever possible. Whether be in interviews, part of his characters (see: Hollywood, The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, and Trese), and fashion, there will always be a nod to the Philippines. In fact, this isn’t the first time he is wearing a Filipino designer.

Ever since they got connected at the 76th Golden Globes in 2019, the two artists have struck a creative bond. From The Outstanding Filipino Americans virtual awards show, the premiere of Aladdin in Hollywood, and most importantly, the reception following his wedding to Mia Swier, Darren Criss always found the perfect occasion to wear a bespoke Francis Libiran piece. The latter was the most special as they collaborated on the design elements on the piña barong tagalog with Pintados tattoo-like details to hero Cebu, the hometown of his mother, Cerina.

Raring And Ready

For A Very Darren Crissmas, a more refined and rich take on the holidays was the main consideration of Francis Libiran for the wine and gray silk brocade suit of Darren Criss. A fresh take on the traditional suit, the precision of menswear relents to the graceful curves of the lapel that extends to a nice bow, in the spirit of gift-giving, of course. “The patterns used on the suit are elegantly unorthodox, highlighting a part of him who daringly embraces the beauty of being different,” details the Filipino designer in our interview. “Here we are, absolutely humbled that Darren decided to wear us for his Christmas album.”

As if echoing the vibrant visual of A Very Darren Crissmas and the Francis Libiran suit in particular, the lead single of the musical exposition is equally bold and considered. Realized in a rousing big band orchestration, Happy Holidays/The Holiday Season is more than enough to shift your mood and slowly get into the swing of the season. Indulging in the cheer and the charm of Christmas, Darren Criss is raring and ready to redefine his holidays, dutifully inviting you into his family for a very Darren Crissmas.

Was Darren Criss hands on? How did the creative process go, despite the pandemic?

We basically presented him with style options, and then he gets to pick which one he prefers to wear. The great thing about him is that he is so open to experiment with different styles or color combinations, so it wasn’t difficult to work with him. Due to the pandemic, all of our consultations are conducted virtually, so if we need to clarify anything with Darren’s team, we discuss it online.

What were the inspirations that were worked on for this particular look?

The inspiration behind the wine and gray silk brocade suit was a combination of muted elegance and sharpness of character. It was basically Darren in a nutshell: he is a star that shines so brightly every time he delivers a performance, but he is a grounded person who never shies away from his roots.

What is it like working and collaborating with Darren Criss, especially with A Very Darren Crissmas?

Working with Darren never felt like work, actually. He is an easy person to talk to, and like I’ve said, we’ve already established a friendship. Our working relationship is mutually beneficial through our support for each other. I’d be very happy to collaborate with him in his future events soon!

Chapter 5

Alexandra Trese's pov

Me and Dr. Jekyll finally made it in Bromburg Grove. We both entered the forest not knowing the location but all we know is that this is will be the location where we will meet our teammates

"Did someone told you where to go? " Dr. Jekyll ask, I simply shook my head as we ventured through the forest. It took us hours until we heard some sounds and noises from the forest, we followed it and followed until we finally saw the others

"Ah... Detective Trese, there you are and you've brought the doctor with you " Said the man with black skin and wearing a suit and a hat. Behind him are a hunter and a tall man vampire presumably to be Van Helsing and Dracula. I look around to find a man with stitches on his face and a man who is really nervous and scared presumably Adam and Dr. Victor Frankenstein

"Hi Jekyll " Adam greeted Dr. Jekyll, he waved his hands like a friend who meets his old friends but then again Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde did mention that they have a good friendship with Adam. I glance at Dr. Jekyll who waved back at him with a smile on his face and then place his hand on the pocket of his black overcoat

Then, we heard a loud hunk which made us turn around to find a blue car. The car stopped as two doors opened to reveal a woman and a man whose head is a skeleton, he has no jaw, magenta eyes, magenta flames to resembles a hair, a black suit, a magenta tie, and a golden heart locket. I think this is Lewis

"Cecilia, glad to see you and... where's Griffin? " The guy who is beside with Dr. Victor spoke but then he ask this question to this... Cecilia woman. When the man ask this question Lewis immediately opened the car door and then pull out a man who is actually the Invisible Man

The Invisible Man who is called as 'Griffin' was tied with a white rope and he was half naked with brown leather pants and black boots. When Lewis gets him out of the car, Griffin groaned when Lewis accidentally dropped him

"S-sorry! " Lewis immediately yelled out, Cecilia grabs a tiny knife as she cuts the white ropes in half. Once she get rids of the white ropes, Lewis helped him get to his leg. Cecilia grab something at the back of the car it was a black bag, she unzipped it and revealed a black turtleneck, black leather overcoat, and a black hat

"Here, have some clothes. It's pretty cold this year " Cecilia said, as she she tossed those clothes at Griffin along wit a black sunglasses and a some white makeup

"You're late "

"I know, I already recruited Lewis and we are on our way on the forest until I receive a supernatural case and long story short: we found this guy on the house pretending to be a ghost. Good thing Lewis threw some white paint at him and then knock him out with a bucket "

"Wait, we only 8 members. Where is the werewolf?"

"You mean Lawrence. The Boss told us that we have gather them first and we have them recruit him "

"Really, you make us meet up here and let us captured the beast? " Van Helsing stepped up, he was kind of offended that we will do the dirty work for them

"You called us out to meet here and told us that time is running out leaving us so clueless but we agreed anyway but we have so many questions right now but you guys don't listen and don't answer our questions " Van Helsing argued, he walk towards to the guy that I saw his name tag named Robbie. I heard Cecilia and the other girl there guns gluck which made me tense but I could feel Dr. Jekyll and Dracula were tense when they heard the gun

We weren't paying attention at Van Helsing's complain we were just staring at Cecilia and the other girl. I held Sinag, my dagger as they were about to get there guns and aim the bullets at Van Helsing but then our focused were interrupted when we heard something...a growling and some sound at the trees

"Do you guys hear that? " Griffin ask, we look around to find some creatures growling. I released my Sinag as we all look around and follow the sound of the growling. I glance at Dr. Jekyll who is about to transformed into Mr. Hyde, I glance at Van Helsing who pulled out a sword and then toss it to Dracula to defend himself, I glance at Adam and Dr. Victor, Adam pulls out a weapon while Dr. Victor grab a gun that was given to Van Helsing, I glance at Lewis and Griffin who is trying to pay attention at the noise

It was dead silence on the Bromburg Grove Forest. There was no wind, no chirps from the birds, we didn't talk, move, and even panic we just focused on the sound. The entire atmosphere was silence

It was only moment when...we saw them. Our heads turned to the sky to find demons flying straight at us, my eyes widened. The demons has wings that was stick on there hands, sharp claws, they have red eyes, and sharp teeth. The demon let out a screech which echoes through the entire forest

"Ready yourself! " I yelled, suddenly they immediately went down towards as they started to attack. The first attack was from Lewis who both fist his hands to summoned fire on his fist when the demon went towards him he punch it in the face which makes the demon instantly burn with magenta fire and that's when the fight began

It's hard to explain how the boys fought those demons but all we did was just defeating some demons. We decided to hit for the head or the heart since that was the most important organ to keep there body moving and alive

I look at Dr. Jekyll who already transformed into Mr. Hyde already and that's when I saw Mr. Hyde's appearance. Dracula uses the sword alongside his vampiric abilities as he used his body as a swarm of bats and slice them using with his claws. Van Helsing used his crossbow to shot the demons in the head but he eventually run out of bows as he used his shotgun to shoot it to the head. Adam used his weapons to slice those demons in half. Dr. Victor tried and managed to shoot them at the head even though he missies he still tried his hardest to kill those demons. Lewis uses his magenta fire to punch and summoned a large of fire to burn them while the demons screech in pain. Griffin uses his stealth as he stabs, throws, and slice those demons apart he really wanted to take off his clothes and run up to them as an invisible but can't. While I, on the other hand used Sinag to slice, stabs, and throws just to defeat those demons but I sometimes uses some physical attacks

The fight was brutal, rough, and difficult. There were too many of them they were like bats that was about to surrounded us any minute but a plan just pop into my head

"Boys! Cover me! " I yelled at them, the boys and even the three humans looked at me. I know they were confused but it was no time to react, they did what I want them to do and now being surrounded by demons they formed a circle just to cover

"So, do you have any plans, detective? " Mr. Hyde ask, I kneel down as I removed some leaves on the ground

"What are you doing? "

"I'm going to perform a spell " I simply answered. I placed Sinag on the ground as I began to scribble the symbol in order to perform the spell. The symbol is a crescent moon and a star when I finished drawing the symbol I began chanting the spell in Filipino

"Mga elemento ng araw, Mga elemento ng araw. Tinatawag kita, upang tumawag sa iyo, Upang protektahan ako! Kaya mote ito maging! (Elements of Day, Elements of Sun. I summon thee, I call upon thee, To Protect me! So mote it be!) " I chant those spell three times and then the symbol began to glow into a light bluish color. It was only a few seconds when my surrounded by light and the sound of flapping wings, screeches, and sounds of there weapons were gone. It was only nothing but silence

I gently opened my eyes as I found myself at the same spot where I chant the spell. All of us were frozen in place as we saw was nothing but the corpses of the demons were there like birds who have been killed by the side of the road

"W-what just happened? " I heard Dr. Victor ask, the boys were stunned as to what happened. I stand up as I removed the leaves and dirt out of my knee. The boys started to look around while Cecilia, Robbie, and the other girl and boy still has there guns just to be sure if the demons are dead or not

As I examine the dead bodies of the demons I look at the boys, they were completely shock and stunned I noticed Dracula turns around to look at me with a stern, serious, but also confused look onto his face. His arms were crossed as he let out an exhale

"Did you do this, detective? " He ask, I gave them a chuckle as I walk past to every single dead bodies

"We're being serious here, detective. Did you do this? "

"Of course I did. I'm not just any normal detective that you boys walk into...I'm a Babaylan-Mandirigma "

"What's that supposed to mean? "

"It's a translation of Healer and Warrior. I usually take supernatural cases and what I did there is magic. It's a magic from my country called Philippines " I explained to them, I could sense that they are interested in my abilities. It looks like that they've never seen someone like me

"But... enough about that, I want to know about your abilities and weakness " I said, changing the subject I must admit I'm rather curious about there abilities. I know that Dracula's abilities is just like in the books and films but there are abilities that really surprised me. For Mr. Hyde and Dr. Jekyll I know that they are just two personalities in one body but I've never seen them perform such strong physical attacks and perform spells that an alchemist can do

"Well, we should continue. There is one member left and after that maybe we should do the case now " I said, the boys noded there heads in agreement. I glance at the four humans that recruited us I notice that they are saying stuff in there walkie talkie telling someone that they got us

I have this gut feeling that something isn't right. I walk away from the boys who were having a conversation, I walk at the humans as they place there walkie talkies onto there belt. The man with the hat notice me approaching them

"Is something the matter, detective? "

"I saw the four of you talking to someone in your walkie talkies. Who were you talking to? "

"It's the boss. We just reported that we got attack by demons and we got you guys in the forest "

"I didn't catch your names actually. Who are you guys? "

"The names Captain Robbie Walton but call me Robbie If you want. Here are my colleagues, Jessica, Detective Cecilia Hansley, and Renfield. Sorry we didn't introduce ourselves very properly there are so many stuff that has been going through our head " The captain by the name of Captain Robbie explained it to me, I really want to ask more questions but suddenly we heard trucks going towards us in a high speed

Our heads turned to the eight cars that surrounded us in a circle

"What the f*ck!? " Griffin exclaimed, when the parked there trucks there are soldiers wearing in black and they have stunned guns. I realized that they are going to shoot, I quickly yelled

"Wait- " It was too late. They started shooting at us. When the electric guns shoot me it was painful as I screamed as well as the others who were yelling as they collapsed onto the ground. My ears are started to ring as I was starting to lose my composure and strength. My consciousness started to fade and the only thing that I remember before my vision turns black is a man who steps out of the car and approaching Captain Robbie, Detective Cecilia, Jessica, and Renfield and everything faded to black.

Captain Robbie's pov

After the whole screaming from the team members I watched them as they collapsed and they were unconscious. The soldiers started carrying them straight to the organization

"Is that everyone? " Our heads turned when we saw the boss himself. He wore a slick and well combed black hair, he wore a black suit, he has brown eyes, and he speaks in a British accent

"There is only one member: The Wolfman "

"We were planning to have them recruit the Wolfman considering the fact that we saw them fought those demons for the first time " Jessica explained, the boss has an impressive expression on his face it was as if he was impressed at the team's abilities. Maybe he choose the right team after all

"Hmm...we'll talk about this later at the organization but right now...we need to explain. I suspect that they are very curious about this case. Let's go! "

BAWAL EPISODE 1

Tuwang-tuwang Jake nang masilayan ang bunsong kapatid na si Shay. Sa loob ng sampung taon ay nagkaroon din siya ng kapatid. Pinuno niya ng pagmamahal ang kapatid at siya na halos ang nag-alaga. Sagana sa alaga at laging binabantayan.

Pero dahil nagkakaroon na siya ng pagkamulat sa makamundong pagnanasa dala na rin ng kanyang mga nababasa at napapanood ay gumagawa siya nang hindi kanais-nais sa kapatid.

Sa tuwing pinapaliguan ang kapatid ay nilalaro niya ang tinggil nito. Iniisip niyang bata pa naman ito at hindi pa alam ang kanyang ginagawa. Animo natutuwa pa ang kanyang kapatid sa tuwing nilalaro niya ang tinggil nito. Naiihi pa ito sa sobrang kiliti kaya lagi niya iyon ginagawa sa kapatid.

Minsan kapag tulog ito ay hinuhubaran niya at inikiskis ang kanyang oten hanggang sa siya ay nilalabasan.

Ngunit sa edad na limang taon ay dinala si Shay ng kanyang lolo at lola sa Amerika. Sobrang nalungkot si Jake at pakiramdam niya ay may kulang sa kanyang buhay. Ganoon din si Shay na walang ibang ginawa kundi ang umiyak at umiiyak.

Makalipas ang walong taon, sa edad na trese ni Shay ay sabay na namatay ang kanilang lolo at lola. Dahil sa nangyari ay umuwi si Shay sa Pilipinas. Sobra siyang nanabik sa kanyang kuya na tanging sa telepono niya lang naririnig ang boses.

Ganoon din si Jake sa kapatid.

Dahil nasa tamang edad na si Jake ay nagkaroon siya ng mga naging kasintahan. Pero ni isa sa kanila ay hindi niya minahal. May hinahanap siya, may gusto ang puso niya. Hinahanap ang babaeng kahalintulad ng kanyang kapatid na si Shay. Kalaunan, sa sarili niya nadiskobre niyang may nararamdaman siya sa kapatid na matagal nang hindi nakita.

Inisip niyang nangulila lamang siya sa kanyang kapatid. Yon ang pilit niyang nilalagay sa kanyang isip. Lalo na kapag naalala ang mga kalokuhan niya noon.

Hanggang sa magkita muli ang dalawa. Sa unang pagkikita ng dalawa ay hindi maalis ni Jake ang mga mata sa kapatid. Gumanda ito, kahit sa murang edad ay mahulma na ang kanyang katawan. Nakidagdag pa ang mala-porselana nitong kutis. Sobra siyang na mesmerised sa ganda ng kapatid.

Si Jake naman sa edad sa 23 ay naging lalaking-lalaki na. Lumaki ang adams apple. Umigting ang mga panga at sobra ng manly tingnan. Naging mahulma na rin ang katawan.

"Kuya, I miss you." Sabi ng dalaga kay Jake sabay yakap sa kapatid.

"I miss you too."

"Naku ang mga anak ko." Nakiyakap na rin ang mommy nila sa kanila.

"Ang laki mo na baby girl." Sabi ni Jake sa kapatid.

"Oo, nga Shay. Hindi pa rin yan makapaniwala ang kuya mo na yong baby na pinapaliguan niya at pinapalitan ng diaper noon eh big girl na."

May kung anong sumagi sa isip ni Jake. Naalala niya ang kakulitan ng kapatid kapag pinapaliguan niya. Pati na rin ang pagpapalit niya ng diaper at ang ginagawa niyang kalokohan noon.

"O, bonding muna kayo diyan sa room ng kuya mo. Mamaya matulog na ok?" Sabay tumango ang dalawa.

Nagkwentohan ang dalawa. Nagtawanan hanggang sa lumipat si Shay sa kapatid at agad na kumandong. "Kuya, I miss you." Saka nito sabay yakap sa kuya. "Naalala ko pa kuya noong bata tayo, lagi mo akong kinakarga, tapos sinasabi ko, paglaki ko ikaw aasawahin ko."

Napalunok ng laway si Jake. Hindi maintindihan ang sarili. Pakiramdam niya ay ganoon din siya sa kapatid.

"Sabi ko pa lagi, mag-iingat ako at hindi magbo-boyfriend kasi gusto ko ikaw una kong boyfriend. Heheheh ang naughty ko kuya no."

"Oo nga eh. Pero syempre bawal yon di ba?" Lumungkot naman ang mukha ng dalaga.

"oo nga." Walang ganang sabi nito.

"Ahh, ahmp Shay time to sleep na."

Napatingin na naman si Shay sa orasan.

"Ay late na pala. Sige kuya, tulog na ako. Goodnight." Saka ito humalik sa pisngi ng kapatid habang nakadiin ang dibdib sa kanyang kuya.

Nang makalabas si Shay ay agad na tumakbo si Jake sa banyo. Inilabas ang namumutok na tarugo. Kanina pa siya nakakaramdam ng paninigas mula nang makita ang kapatid. Hinawakan niya ang ulo ng kanyang burat. Saka dinuraan at dahan-dahan na jinajakol habang iniisip si Shay.

Ang makipot na labi, ang malulusog na dibdib, ang maliit at matambok nitong pvke na minsan na niyang nahawakan noong bata pa sila at lagi niyang kinikiskisan ng kanyang oten.

"Shay, pvtang ina. Ang sarap mo. Ang kipot ng pvke mo. Ahhhh" ungol niya mag isa sa banyo habang iniisip si Shay.

"Malapit na akong labasan. Saluhin mo ang tamod ko. Ahhhh." Sabay sabog ng kanyang kaligayahan.

Samantalang sa kabilang kwarto ay hinahawakan naman ni Shay ang kanyang naglalawang pvke. Palibhasa laking Amerika ay hindi na baguhan si Shay sa mga ganoong bagay sa kanyang paligid. Madalas siyang nanonood ng mga porn sa ibat-ibang website at nag-reresearch. Kaya alam niya paano paligayahin ang sarili. At ang ginagawa niya ay ang paglalaro niya sa kanyang tinggil.

"Kuya Jake, kuya Jake, rip my fvcking pvssy kuya. Fvck me harder and deeper. Oh kuya. I'm cvmming. Fvck my tight pvssy. Ohhhh ahhhhh kuyyyyaaaaa." Saka nilabasan ni Shay.

"Kuya, kung alam mo lang. Mahal na mahal kita. Bata pa lang ako, lagi kitang naiisip. Lagi akong excited sa tawag mo. Hanggang narealised ko na hindi na pala buo ang araw ko kung hindi kita nakakausap. Later on narealised ko. Mahal na pala kita." Umiiyak na sabi ni Shay hanggang sa makatulog siya.

PATULOY na lumipas ang araw. Normal ang naging takbo ng buhay dalawa. Masaya sila bilang isang pamilya. Hanggang sa may pinakilala si Jake, ang kanyang girlfriend na Si Chelsea isang half American half pilipino. Masaya ang lahat pati Shay. Pero ang totoo, sobra siyang nasaktan.

Nagbiruan pa nga sila na mag-asawa na si Jake dahil 23 na ito. Sumagot naman si Shay nang five years na lang at mag-aasawa din siya ng maaga. Nagtitigan ang magkapatid. Titig ng dalawang pusong nag-usap at parehong nasaktan.

Hanggang sa maganap ang isang gabi na hindi dapat maganap. Isang gabing hindi nila inaasahan na mangyayari.

Masters Of The Universe Revelation and Netflix's Problem

So, I just watched masters of the universe revelation and I totally forgot it had already come out. Most of that is because my expectations for this show were on the floor when I found out that it was only gonna have 5 episodes. And I was right. It was not great. For a big reason that I'm sure you can guess so I'll save it for the end.

I only remember watching a few episodes of the original he-man so I was basically judging this show as a standalone ( which is not surprising because that's how shows are supposed to be unless you want the audience to go scavengerhunting to understand things ). So, I'll keep the comparisons to a minimum.

Spoilers for Masters of the universe revelation and slight spoilers for the original cartoon.

Let's start with the whole Prince Adam is He-man reveal. It was quite annoying. For one thing, I think most people are tired of the whole angry because you didn't tell me a secret and that has ruined everything trope. Teela is in many ways a mess of a character. She's not dreadfully horrible but she doesn't have much to invest. Her being angry and then leaving the palace is just really a dramatic turn. Like, I get that she's hurt. I get that. But, she should be able to guess or at least slightly assume that the secret wasn't kept for malicious reasons and that these people still love her. I think it would have been a better set up to show that the people around sometimes lie to her and if this wasn't the first time. Like during the party, maybe if Adam had lied to her about where he'd been and she was a little upset about that or if Duncan had pulled her aside and given her a foreshadowing speech about being prepared for bigger things in the future ( since she's being promoted to a high rank and signifying her adulthood, it's a good time to prepare her for whatever waiting for her ) and she was upset about him not being more clear. If they wanted to do the whole secret ruins everything trope, they should have tied it into her character better and explored how loved ones keeping secrets has been a big deal for this character. By her, abandoning her rank that she worked so hard for, leaving her family and friends and her whole life because no one told her this secret, it just feels like they just used a random cliche and not a character trait to advance the story. And it wasn't like she was the only one left out of this, the king and father if Adam was in the dark for some reason. The Queen knew, why didn't they tell the King? I get they wanted Duncan to get fired but they couldn't have found any other way?

And why didn't they tell Teela? I'm assuming it was because in the original she was the sorceress daughter and she was supposed to guard Grayscull after her. They're likely going to keep that in the reboot. But, they're still keeping secrets and that hasn't turned out well. Could have actually written preparing her to be the next sorceress in the story. Like, they train her for it but she's frustrated because she doesn't know why they are training her like this. There, I just gave you another way to tie in her trust issues with her "fate".

I mentioned before that Teela's character was a bit of a mess. Some have labeled get a Mary Sue. And I disagree. The whole Mary Sue debate is a mess of it's own but a Mary Sue isn't just a perfect character. A Mary Sue actually needs to bend every other character so that everything is about the Sue. Everyone idolizes how perfect they are and they usually have to be the only important thing to which everyone else is just a set piece in their story. Teela is perhaps too perfect but that doesn't keep the other characters from at least somewhat getting their time to shine without tying back to Teela. Teela is boring and comes off as too perfect but still, not deserving of the title Mary Sue. The whole Teela is too boring and perfect problem could have been solved with more time devoted to her flaws and weaknesses. Like including scenes tying back to trust issues when people keep secrets or during the whole fear scenes. The whole thing with the skeleton ( I legit forgot his name and don't want to look it up ) trying to feed off her fear would have been a good way to show more of her character by showing her backstory explaining her fears and putting more time into showing her fears instead of just having her rise to the occasion so quickly and ending what could have been a great way to show more of the characters instead of just showing the bare minimum. So, in other words, a couple more scenes showing what, why, and how things make this character tick and we probably would have had a more interesting approach to Teela.

The rest of the characters don't have it so great either. There is very little when it comes to their development. Evilyn has a few small moments but it's weird that she went from serving Skeleton to wanting to carve her own path. We didn't get to see anything that would have made this decision. Was Skeletor's death was what did it? Is it because she realized she wasn't going to get anywhere in her life if she kept serving others? Well, I wish we could have seen that considering it made such a change in her character. And why'd she go back to skelator's side after that? Just what? And we never found out why Beastman serves her so much. What's his deal? The closest we get to finding more about characters and their development is Orko being afraid that he might be the last of his kind and showing how he felt like a disappointment but that's all we really get from him before he's completely heals and gets over all that and dies. That's another thing, why are so many characters dying so quick and why do they expect the audience to care?

I don't care that Mossman dies, I know nothing about him. I barely care that Roboto is gone because I know nothing about him. And I did not care that Orko died because he's hardly even had the screentime to be important to me. The audience is not gonna truly care that someone died unless they actually care about that someone and these characters haven't gone on a long enough journey for the audience to feel attached. Maybe they wanted to do something similar with Invincible and how their kills hot so hard but they are not the same deaths. Invincible's scene with guardians dying and the train scene showed how brutal and uncaring Omni Man was and what he was willing to put his son through. Revelation's deaths are just deaths for the sake of tugging at heart strings without putting in the work to attach the audience with these characters.

And for a He-man reboot, there's not a lot of He-man.

And that brings me to the reason on why the reboot was not great. And that is because of Netflix. I knew that Netflix's habit of shortening seasons was going to keep screwing it's shows after I saw Trese. This show is adapted from an award winning graphic novel. Most of the work is already there but Trese still didn't do great in terms of character and story telling and that was because it was given so little room to breathe and develop. It's obvious Netflix's episode limit put a strain on He-man reboot too. The shows pacing is a mess. It's too quick with it's characters and development and yet so slow with getting the characters to do something interesting. Teela's flaws and weaknesses aren't given enough time for the audience to absorb them so their easily forgotten. Her whole "everything is ruined because of secrets" trope wasn't even set up properly to avoid it from becoming dramatic. The rest of the characters can't even develop their relationships together. And the characters that die, die too quickly for the audience to care. There is no way this show could have been amazing and it's all cause Netflix expects the writers go do the impossible. How Netflix has not caught on is insane. This little strategy of theirs has screwed over Voltron legendary defender, Blood of Zeus, Trese, and now Masters if the universe revelation!

It's obvious Netflix is gonna keep doing this and that is something we should be concerned because it might end up buying the animation industry leading to fewer of these Animation. I don't know about you, but I actually prefer western anime as you know they would actually get in trouble for boobies flying everywhere and rape jokes. And i enjoy not having to brace myself for for these rape jokes everytime I wanna watch an anime. So yeah. Netflix has gotta stop decreasing the episodes for these shows and the only way that's gonna happen is if people complain.

We need to be as loud and as annoying as humanly possible to get Netflix to realize that their going to lose those dollars because people are not happy with shows that have huge potential but ultimately crash and burn because they are not given the time they need for good writing. So go and tweet or whatever. Let Netflix know you want more episodes for these writers so they can actually write!
