ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) — A University of Central Florida student was arrested after he allegedly made threats to shoot three Jewish students during a school event last week.

According to documents, Palestinian-American student Seif Asi, 21, approached a table of Jewish students and got into a one to two-minute “heated conversation” during a UCF Office of Student Involvement approved pro-Israel free expression event on Jan. 23.

The University of Central Florida Police Department said once Asi walked away, one of the students ran to a marked patrol car and was “visibly scared.” The student told UCFPD that Asi had threatened to shoot them with a gun.

When UCFPD stopped Asi, he told them that he was Palestinian and had family in Palestine, adding that he was tired of seeing Jewish supporters on campus and complained about a pro-Israel match that occurred last week.

The arrest report shows that Asi told police he saw the same group of students at the march, and it made him upset when he saw them setting up their table on Tuesday. He also told police that he’s “tired of seeing students on campus defend the killing of Palestinian people.”

The 21-year-old said he was on his way back from working out when his “emotions got the better of him.” Police said he apologized for his behavior and asked if he could apologize to the students, acknowledging that he shouldn’t have made the threat.

According to documents, Asi denied owning a firearm, and no weapon was found on his person.

The three victims, who are part of a group called “Students Supporting Israel” or SSI, provided sworn verbal and written statements consistent with each other. The students said Asi accused them of supporting the death of his family members back home. Then, all three students allegedly heard Asi say, “You won’t be here anymore when I come back and shoot you.”

Asi was arrested and charged with three counts of intimidation and credible threat to a person wearing a religious item, according to officials.

Following Asi’s arrest, UCF released a statement saying that while Asi apologized, he would still have to answer for violating university policy and state and federal laws.

“While the student acknowledged his emotions got the better of him and apologized for his words, he will still have to answer for the violations of university policy and state and federal laws,” the statement read in part.

A new report from the Parkland Institute finds that the privatization of surgeries – expanded under the United Conservative Party’s Alberta Surgical Initiative – has not only failed to relieve hospital wait times, but actually diverted resources away from the public system.

In 2019, the Alberta UCP introduced the ASI to move surgeries to for-profit “chartered surgical facilities,” to, according to former premier Jason Kenney, “ensure that people get needed surgery in four months or less.”

But the report shows it has failed at that.

As of 2022, the report found wait times for hip replacements have increased sharply since the ASI was introduced. The province’s share of hip replacement patients meeting the national benchmark for wait times fell from 65% to 38% from 2019-2022.

Among knee replacement patients, the share meeting the benchmark fell from 62% to 27%. And, the share of cataract patients meeting the benchmark, the report notes, stood at 65% in 2022 – below the national average of 66%. [...]

You know what makes me angry? People who shamelessly hide information for the sake of their propaganda.

The Ny times articles regarding Ayodhya verdict (which were conviniently written by american leftist muslims) wrote about how it was islamophobic and BJP oriented of the Supreme Court to decide on giving the land to us.

No mention of the Sikh memoirs proving that the temple was demolished to make the mosque. No mention of the ASI report that proved that a non islamic structure complete with statues was found underneath. No mention of how important the temple is to the hindus or how many went away without getting to see the day they worship their beloved Ram Lalla. No mention of how their was no muslim prayers being offered there from since 50 years before and how the structure was being used as a makeshift temple.

An article regarding the Ayodhya verdict can water down all the crucial information about a religious temple that is nothing short of Mecca or Bethlehem to me to focus on the side they favour losing just another (abandoned) mosque.

But it is islamophobia, yes.

Okay! tomando de referencia lo que dijiste, me imagino que (lectora) es una Clawthrone, y justamente por eso tenia acceso a una puerta que llevaba al mundo humano.

(aunque esto puede ser solo una opción porque es canon que no solo hay brujas en las islas hirvientes, sino en otras islas, por lo que en adelante sera mas ambiguo)

pero en general (lectora) era algo asi como una rechazada de la sociedad magica(probablemente por no querer unirse a un aquellare, like a boss) y por eso mismo empezo a usar la puerta de forma constante.

porque 1- podia conseguir productos humanos que le ayudaban a sobrevivir y 2- si la perseguian por mucho tiempo simplemente se iba al mundo humano por un tiempo.

afortunadamente sus habilidades magicas no se vieron afectadas por el nuevo mundo, si, estaba debilitada, pero seguia siendo fuerte.

aparte, es bastante genial ser "interesante" en un mundo desconocido cuando en el mundo donde eres conocido eres una delincuente juvenil o...una donnadie...

aunque en general creo que (lectora) se terminaria quedando un tiempo indefinido en el mundo humano viviendo como jna vagabunda justamente porque la querian meter a un aquelarre a la fuerza.

asi que ahora esta en el mundo humano tratando de adaptarse

en general (lectora) solo usaba su magia si era necesario una huida rapida o, aun si sabia que no era la mejor idea, cuando habia una emergencia relacionada con humanos.

digamos que (lectora) se dio cuenta de que habia algo raro con el pais en el que ella estaba...algo familiar pero al mismo tiempo MUY peligroso..

fue asi como Yaga la encontro.

el habia seguido varios reportes sobre una misteriosa mujer que usaba "magia" para prevenir incidentes, curar heridos, incluso volar en una especie de vara(Palisman).

al principio Yaga pensó que simplemente se trataba de un hechicero no identificado o que no tenia licencia, pero se dio cuenta muy pronto de que (lectora) realmente no existia en ninguna parte, no importa de donde buscara, no habia nada de ella.

aparte, la forma en la que ella usaba su "magia"... definitivamente no era hechiceria. el tenia que saber que era.

probablemente Yaga tardaria un poco en hacer que (lectora) confiara en el, probablemente la perdió las primeras veces que la acolarro, pero mientras mas interactuaban mas cedia (lectora).

y eventualmente decidio aprender la "hechiceria" de los del reino humano.

(digamos que Yaga se espanto cuando vio las condiciones de vida que tenia (lectora), incluso si le dijo que estaba bien asi y que solo era temporal, eso solo le hizo agarrarla de las orejas puntiagudas y darle un sermon sobre la higiene😅)

Yaga trata de aprender todo lo posible sobre la magia de (lectora) antes de enviarla a la academia, para ver que cosas se pueden adaptar a su estilo de pelea y que cosas no.

hay mucho prueba y error😅

pero vale la pena.

(lectora) sigue usando principalmente las técnicas de pelea de una persona de las islas Hirvientes(una bruja) pero ahora tambien sabe las bases de la hechiceria, por lo que podra pasar fácilmente los temas de ingreso.

ahora, cuando ella conoce al grupo que le tocó, no voy a mentir...

se rieron en su cara.

Ch. I - August 1975 - Italy - Tunisia – Algeria – Morocco – Spain – France – Italy.

BENALMADENA COSTA - SPAIN Luxurious residence, swimming pool right in front of the entrance to the apartment, we were already looking forward to the two weeks of complete relaxation after so much travelling. We were close to the fence, it was very early, and my friend uncle's family were certainly still sleeping.

''Let's try to guess who owns the clothes hanging out to dry, right in front of the apartment windows'' I told Gianluigi. . Then suddenly something unexpected happens: the door of the apartment opens and an elderly lady comes out, dressed with a nightgown: she didn't look like Mrs. Proserpio at all! ''Maybe the apartment booked was not available, and the management assigned another one?'' It was my friend guess.....

And this was the phrase we heard repeated from the ''1267 hotels'' where we asked for a room for the whole holiday, along the coast from Benalmadena to Torremolinos and surrounding areas. Desperate, but not defeated, we resorted to ''Plan B'': the tent! We had brought, just in case, the tent purchased a year earlier from Bertoni Camping for the holiday in Riccione '68. And now it was good to have it! We found a campsite but? Worn out! And what do we do? We installed our tent just beside the campsite entrance, so we could use the campsite services without paying a pesetas! In short, a reckless life, just a week, to allow the mid-August crowd to leave and vacate some apartments. We found an apartment just a week later in Benalmadena: a decent residence, but at this point we certainly couldn't be picky. Having found a roof for the day (we used to spent the night somewhere else) we only had to find a place to refresh ourselves in the evening, and once again our lucky stars met us: we discovered el ''Restaurante de Raoul! ''. He was an Argentinian by origin, married to an Italian woman, and domiciled in Biella, Italy. For the summer of 1975 he had rented a small restaurant on the road between Benalmadena and Torremolinos, and delighted the customers in a mix of Argentine, Spanish and Italian cuisine. The female cook was Spanish, and Roul had brought his twelve-year-old son from Italy, but not his wife, since she was managing a Bed & Breakfast in Biella. It was our luck: not only did the cook prepare us timbales of macaroni, delicious fish baked in foil, but we had become friends with Roul: so off to the aperitifs and sangria that flowed like rivers! And at the end of dinners Raoul was always asking us:

In short, it was a lucky step from the unfortunate surprise of the Mr. Proserpio's non-arrival and we had few ''dias feliz''. By the way, we learned more about the reasons for Mr. Proserpio's giving up, once we returned home. They had arrived - it seems - all the way to Alicante, where they had had mechanical problems with the Opel Rekord they were traveling with. Hence the (absurd) decision to turn around, return to Italy, and cancel the reservation of the apartment in Benalmadena (did we recover the deposit? No, that was lost too…) Until the end of August nothing special to report, just a quiet life, sea-pool-sleepless nights, big moguls in the evening and revelry chez Roul. Then, inevitably, the day of returning to Italy arrived, and a request from Raoul literally left us speechless: - Guys, you know that I trust you, right? - Yes Raoul… - Well I ask you a favor: my son has to start school again soon, and I instead will have to stay here at least until the end of September - So? - If you agree, could you take him with you to Italy? The car is big, and there are only two of you…. - Well…yes……why not? This will only make us take a detour towards Biella, but in a journey of over 2,000 km it's a small thing in the end…… In truth we had decided to accept, given that, as it was the end of the holiday, money was scarce. So we were counting on the help that would certainly come from Raoul, since he would surely provide his son with a sum of money for a trip of at least 3 days……. (or not?). The moment we start our journey back to Italy, it always brings mixed feeling: returning home, seeing relatives and friends..... but also sadness for the end of the holidays, and the awareness that the easy life of the Saniard's was over. And we'll have to wait a whole year to the next holiday…. We left Benalmadena in the morning (not early because Gianluigi let's say he wasn't an ''early bird' guy) and the first stop was Valencia, some 800 km away, where we arrived in the evening. A drab city then, later the European Community funds and investments for the America's Cup sailing will transform it into a more pleasant place. That evening we choose a typical Valencian restaurant, because it is true that the city was not so nice like other Spain's cities, but the Valencian cuisine is excellent, starting with the famous ''Paella a la Valenciana''. The restaurant is called El Pederniz, typical local cuisine. Great feast of seafood appetizers, cold and hot, then paella para todos, and finally ''Arnadi'', a typical Valencian postre, a mixture of pumpkin and sugar, cooked in the oven and subsequently decorated with almonds and pine nuts. All washed down with excellent Blanco Bodega Reto.

We pay, but we were certain that Paolino (Raoul's son) will have enough money in store to guarantee us a night in a hotel nearby, but..... INSTEAD NO!!! After leaving the restaurant and returning to the car, while we were discussing which hotel to choose for the night, Gianluigi asked the fateful question that we should have asked BEFORE departure: - Paolino how much money did your dad give you? - Nothing…….. - ……….Silence……. - How….nothing? - Yes, says Paolino after a hesitation, Dad said that you would take care of everything…….'' - Machecazzzzzz……………..(Italian bad word) And now we were in the sh*****… if we had known we wouldn't have spent all those pesetas in the best restaurant of Valencia. But than it was like that.... cursing Raoul and sending him all the insults in Spanish we know, I started the car and go out of Valencia, took the motorway again, and then stopped at the first service area and slept in the car. Lucky for us, the Citroen DS19 has a paddle shift and front-wheel drive, so it was equipped with seats which, when lowered, form a comfortable bed. And this is how we slept, and how we would sleep next night too. After a trip in which we spoke little, we then took Paolino to Biella - his mother was very happy to see him again after more than two months of absence. The kind Lady also hosted us for lunch (goodness of her…) after which we set off for the last stage, towards our hometown. (sigh)
