It particularly makes me wish that Carlos had been there when TK woke up from his coma and also makes me wonder how that might have changed things. “Dispatch requesting additional engine and RA units to relieve station 126 at 4548 Green Street.”

The small amount of calm that Carlos managed to grab onto is gone as soon as he hears the station number over the radio.

From the upcoming chapter eleven of "little boy don't you cry, cause the child in you is still alive"

The fourteen-year-old and ninth grader Tyler Kennedy Strand who goes by Tk was riding high until he was not. His life turned upside down in the course of one short week. It was the 2010 Manhattan school districts homecoming week, everything was good great then it suddenly turned into a nightmare. Now to get away from all the pain his dad is moving him to Austin, Texas. Owen is rebuilding 126 fire-station which recently suffered a great loss, most of the firefighters lost their lives.

Chapter Eleven:

Owen is a firefighter. He is calm and collected professional. He deals with kids getting in trouble all the time and daily. He can do this for Tk. His He is a good boy, always has been. His sweet kid who has a little bit of a temper but never strays too far. However, Tk has been a little accident prone since toddlerhood and has a talented of getting himself hurt and into dangerous situations without realizing. Owen and Gwyn and Enzo are used to the antics of their boy.

Before jumping to conclusions, he tries calling the cellphone of Tk.

He is only faced with the ring and then it goes to voicemail. “Hi. It is Tk Strand. I can not talk right now. Please leave a message after the beep and I call you back as soon as I can. And have a dope day, bye.”

Now Gwyn's name appears on his caller id. “Owen, the school called. Something happened and they can’t find him. I am worried sick. Please tell me he is with you, or that you know where he is. I tried calling him, but he won’t pick up.”

Late in the day, but I promised myself and a few people that I would have something for today's seven sentence Sunday!! I will strive to include more plot next time, but enjoy what I have today 🥰.

Carlos lets out a breathy laugh, “Are you that close already, babe? I’m not finished with you yet.” He punctuates the statement by clenching around TK’s cock, causing them both to throw their heads back, with TK pushing his feet against the bed and thrusting up into Carlos more to chase the pleasure.

Carlos has such a smug grin on his face and looks so pleased with himself. TK can feel himself getting harder inside of his husband just from looking at him. He’s breathtaking and the most beautiful being TK has ever laid eyes on. Carlos’ curls are sweaty and in disarray as they gently bounce from his movements and fall over his forehead.

Carlos closes his eyes and bites his bottom lip between his teeth, once again focusing on lifting himself up and down on TK's cock. TK loves that he can do this for Carlos, giving him a chance to empty his mind of everything else and get lost in the feeling of being full of only his husband.

this is the first fic in my soulmates series, you would turn into my best life! i hope you enjoy reading this as much as i enjoyed writing it.

TK regrets a lot about his life.

He regrets taking his first pill at fifteen. His boyfriend had given it to him, pressing it into his hand with a smile and a “you’ll feel so good, I promise” along with a beer that TK had stolen from his dad’s fridge. His boyfriend was right, he felt good and then never stopped chasing that high.

He regrets relapsing when he turned eighteen, stinging from the rejection from the NYFD on account of his test scores.

He regrets relapsing again when he was twenty-two. Getting high between shifts and disappearing for days at a time on PTO, sleeping on dirty mattresses in shady drug dens with dirty needles surrounding him because he wanted the high he had that first time. He could never achieve it, more drugs causing more problems until his mom found him on a dirty mattress clinging to his life by a thread.

But TK doesn’t regret anything more than seeing his mother and father, the President of the United States and her First Gentleman sitting at the foot of his bed, slumped into each other, dozing off as they wait for their first and only son to wake up from his latest overdose, hands clutched together tightly.

He watches them for a second, and he feels hot tears of shame and regret burn at the back of his eyes. TK doesn’t remember much but he remembers the handful of pills he swallowed, the way the high didn’t feel good, and how he collapsed onto the floor. He would say that he hadn’t meant to overdose, that he just wanted the pain to stop but the truth was he wanted it all to stop. He’s tired of being hurt, of not having the kind of life he dreamed of when he was younger. He’s tired of being soulmateless and watching every person he falls in love with find their soulmate and leave him as if he’s never meant a damn thing to them.

I was asking about these fanfic Friday and seven sentence Sunday and wip Wednesday and so on where you tag people and thank people for tags. I understood that it has something to do with the writing, but I was curious if anyone could join or if it’s a closed thing.

I feel such a happy flood of excitement about what folks are working on. I love all the ideas, the interpretations and the situations folks spin up. In response I love to hype and consume and comment about my favorite aspects of fandom works. It’s a huge part of the way I engage.

Andrea gave him the look which made him sigh but also relent and he finally told her about wanting to marry TK, his idea for an engagement ring, his dilemma with figuring out what he wanted said ring to look like. His mom predictably teared up, saying, “mi amor” in a voice that nearly made him tear up, before pulling him into the longest hug of his life over the table. She was wiping her eyes when she pulled back.

Inspiration Saturday / Seven Sentence Sunday

🧡 Thanks for the tags @chaotictarlos, @cold-blooded-jelly-doughnut, & @carlos-in-glasses 🧡

Carlos leads the way up the steps and back onto the street. They're quiet, but their bodies sort of buoy closer and closer together as they walk. Maybe gravity is still working after all. Maybe it's just shifted and is pulling TK to Carlos instead of the ground.

They have to stop at a crosswalk and TK feels himself just barely bouncing on the balls of his feet. He watches Carlos wait for a few pedestrians and cars to pass before he pins TK to the traffic light with a kiss that feels like it could shortcircuit the whole system if TK doesn't pull himself off of the pole soon.

They somehow make it across the street, and down the rest of the block, saving the city's traffic grid.

TK's shiny green eyes studied Carlos for a moment. “Actually, I do think I need you to stop looking at me like that.”

“What do you mean?”

“You keep giving me the cow eyes, and I know it’s just because you’re worried about me, but it’s making me want to kiss you really bad and I can't because I don’t want you to get sick too.”

“Pobrecito, that must be so hard for you,” Carlos teased lightly, even though resisting the urge to kiss TK was getting harder for himself.
