Here are 7 little facts about my donkey and how his summer is going :)

1. I received an anon the other day asking if Pirou was still a working donkey who carries my firewood for me, and the answer is yes. I've been cutting some branches from the big cherry tree that fell down the other day, and Pirlouit has been valiantly carrying them to the woodshed—fun fact, for this activity he likes to wear his ears like this:

Probably because this T position is reminiscent of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, which is how Pirlouit perceives himself as he carries heavy logs for me. He's willing, but his martyrdom should be acknowledged.

I stopped so they could have their little chat.

2. Pirou has been chatting with a lot of new friends lately—we met these horses on a walk and he was so happy to stop and touch noses with them while making equid noises. Llamas are good with the nose-touching but their llama noises are just less interesting to Pirlouit. He had such interested ears here! "Finally a serious grown-up conversation"

We also met this goose during the same walk and Pirlouit was a lot less eager to go say hi to her. The goose was yelling threats at us and we prudently stayed away, and Pirou was clearly thinking "this bird is doing a better job at protecting her home from intruders than Pandolf ever could" (it's true, Pan assumes intruders are friends until proven otherwise)

3. You'll notice that there are houses in this pic! Our walks got longer and longer until one day we went all the way to the village (it took 1 hour 20min at Pirlouit's leisurely pace). I was so proud of him. I've been trying to convince my friends to go to the village on donkeyback (this requires two people, because you can ride Pirlouit but you can't tell him where to go unless there's someone holding his rope and leading the way)—my friends were reluctant because they still sort of perceive Pirou as the feral animal terrified of everything that he was when I got him. They know he's made a lot of progress but going to town on donkeyback still seemed foolhardy.

So we've been riding Pirlouit in the woods, in familiar environments, and we also went to town with him but without riding him. He was amazingly calm and brave! There's a river that cuts the village in two and the first time we went, we stopped before the bridge, since it's pretty narrow and cars would have to drive very close to Pirlouit, we didn't want to risk it. We just went to say hi to the librarian who lives on the right side of the river, but since Pirlouit was very serene, we did cross the bridge the second time.

He did not care at all about cars driving very close to him (he had one familiar human on either side of him and the drivers were very considerate and went slowly), which emboldened us to stop for a drink on the terrace of the coffeeshop on main street (< also a narrow street with cars driving by quite close to Pirlouit). There was just no problem at all, Pirou let total strangers rub his forehead and was more interested in iced tea than main street traffic.

It was a hot day and we gave him all the ice cubes from our drinks and he chewed them enthusiastically.

4. We made a stop at the pharmacy on our way home because we had another 1 hour 20min walk ahead and I had a blister, and the pharmacist noticed my donkey parked outside his shop and in a determined tone he said, "I want to try something." He took one of the donkey milk soaps from the overpriced-Provence-soaps-for-tourists display and opened the door and offered it for Pirlouit to sniff.

... I'm not sure what he was expecting—for my donkey to go "ohhh this smells like Mother's milk and aloe vera 🥺"—but unfortunately nothing happened.

(4. bis—Sorry, this 4th fact was anticlimactic.)

5. Pirlouit is now the proud owner of a surcingle. Not for equestrian vaulting and not for his log-carrying job because I don't know if it would be solid enough for the weight of a bag full of logs, but I'd like to tie bags or baskets to it to take Pirlouit grocery shopping, now that I know he's okay with going to town :) He even seems to enjoy the adventure, and the attention he gets from children.

And actually I shouldn't write off equestrian vaulting because Pirou is also remarkably chill with weird things happening on his back. I used to be very careful to climb on his back in a quick & fluid way so he wouldn't spook (because he used to! a butterfly flapping its wings in Brazil used to spook him!) but now that my friends are riding him I can confirm we've reached a point where you can climb on Pirlouit's back in any way you want and he'll just be like "...... sure"

6. I almost forgot to mention that Pirou turned 15 last month, according to his ID papers :) Donkeys have a longer life expectancy than horses, they can live 30-40 years on average so he's still a young lad really. Happy 15th birthday Pirlouit :)

7. I wanted to conclude with a nice aesthetic pic of Pirou's shadow on the road during all those walks, like I did with Poldine, but unfortunately donkey shadows do not have the chic je-ne-sais-quoi of llama shadows. Pirlouit looks like a hammerhead shark wearing a tiny fez and that's not his fault.

A/N - omg, i absolutely love this. Nate is so this guy and i love it. i wrote a lot of this in class (like i said i would). three fics written in one week, damn GRINDDD (this was written on the 4th)

I sigh with a smile as I watch two little girls -- sisters -- run around and play tag, weaving through the various sized pumpkins.

I turn to Nate, watching as he eats his caramel apple -- he insisted we got them -- while he's scrolling through his phone.

"So, is there a reason you wanted to come here?" I raise a brow and lean my head on his shoulder.

"Well, I thought since it's fall, you love coming here, and I love being around you. You know?" He presses a kiss to the top of my head.

I nod, "True. Very true.”

“And, since I didn’t see you on your birthday, I thought I could take you out as an apology and a belated birthday date.”

That’s very fair. I was so sad when I found out my plane was delayed for a few days. 

“Also, I wanted to show you something.” I furrow my brows and tilt my head up to look at his face, which he’s already looking down at me.

“Just look.” He looks back to his phone as he’s pulling up a house listing. 

It’s a beautiful house. Three bedrooms, two stories. It has beige paneling and white trimming. Even a white picket fence. It has a large backyard, and is 45,000 square feet. And it’s at a really good price.

“Where did you find this?” I lift my head from his shoulder and grab his phone, taking it into my hand to look at the pictures.

“You remember Becky from sophomore science?” I furrow my brows even more and look at him.

“You mean the girl who tried to date you and Matt?”

“Yeah, her. That’s her old house.” My brows shoot up.

“Really?! Damn she must’ve had a nice life.” I hand him back his phone as he finishes off his carmel apple.

“Why are you showing me this Nate?” I ask with a suspicious look, but a smile nonetheless.

“I thought about the future the other day, and there was one thing that was consistent. You. I just… I thought about our lives together and how we could grow old together.”

“You really thought that far ahead?”

“Yeah, I just want what’s best for my lady.” He states with a smirk before leaning in to give me a kiss.

“Well, I love it. I can see us growing old together too. Maybe a few kids.”

“A few? I want at least 10.”

“Ten?! You’re insane.” I smack his chest before giving him another kiss.

OKAY PART TWO MAYBE PART 3 IF I DONT HAVE ENOUGH SPACE

pup is a very earthy, spiritual kinda girly. id say hippie adjacent because shes more neo soul influenced. this is an erykah Badu listener. lots of layers, maki skirts and crocheted pieces. especially crocheted tops. very bright and colorful as well not only just yellows and oranges but teals and peaches as well. obscure artwork graphic tees (look for keith haring apparel for sure) and the che guevara shirt in the 4th pic is kinda perfect and the whole look is her to a T. the bikini top, the cut out skirt and the button up with waist beads and shell necklaces very her. also lots of 70s inspo so look for things like ringer tees, dolphin shorts and high waisted shorts. and graphics of 70s icons in music are also a big part of her look. layers with cardigans and oversized button ups but everything should look worn! diy stuff too with screen printing and tie-dying. shoes are simple with sneakers, Birkenstock-esque sandals and flip flops.

fox is the most...."normcore" of them all. I say she cannot dress and it's true! the key to her wardrobe is to just...go to Walmart LOL. generic graphic tees, long skirts, vintage dresses and tops paired with running shorts, loafers with nike socks, weird sneakers she doesnt care about fashion much but she likes what she likes. also wears lots of button up dresses but pairs them with sheer black tights. thats normally her "school" look. imagine her wearing the last outfit with loafers and nike socks.

lamb reader kinda the most interesting because some of her pieces are inspired from the 1950s. so short sleeved sweaters, henley tops, modest dresses with embroidery details and lots of cardigans. mostly in pastels. crew socks and mary janes are her go to combo and she wears mostly mid length skirts and dresses to start but the hemlines get a little higher as time goes on.

Riku actually held that KH1 paopu for a whole day.

In KH1, the paopu tree seems to have space for holding 4 fruits. Yet, only 3 are shown. The first person we’re shown alongside that tree is Riku. And what does he gives Sora at the end of the day?

“Maybe he took it just before leaving”

That’d be a possibility, but, the next day, not a single paopu is missing on the tree.

Which mean, Riku actually had the fruit before the sunset scene. Not only that, but the spot where the 4th paopu should be, would actually be the easiest one to pluck. Then what was he doing with it for so long? Well, during that sunset scene, Kairi said that to Riku;

He sure did. Remember what Selphie said about not plucking a Paopu fruits without being serious about it? Riku would never just pluck it for “just a joke” especially if he knows one of his friends would be upset over it. He spent all this time thinking about whether would he share one with Sora or not. He apparently chose to, since he plucked the fruit, but ended up not doing it for some reasons that I still don’t know for sure. He maybe took a tiny bite and gave it to Sora in hope that he would just take it home and eat it, who knows?

To back this up I also have a manga panel where Riku is shown regretting not trying “that paopu thing”

So; Riku actually plucked that Paopu fruit surely after finishing working his part of the raft and just sat there, looking at the sea, thinking about if he would share it with Sora or not. Or more like would he find the force to actually do it. Time went by and the sunset scene happened. For some reasons, he just tossed it to Sora, maybe either hoping Sora would just eat it or just watching what would his reaction be.

About the reasons that maybe made him “give up” I have a theory:

Remember when Riku says if he win, he’ll share the paopu with Kairi? I’m pretty sure that’s what he used in his own mind to determine if he would share the Paopu or not, but with the sparring one. He was probably so lost that he just ended up using what they always used to decide something; sparring, or just competing against each other. “If I win, I’ll share a Paopu with Sora.” Now, I don’t know the canonical result of the sparring, but I think Sora won and hence why Riku stayed true to his words and didn’t share it with him. Not so sure about that one though.

Thinking about Riku looking at the fruit and imagining himself sharing it with Sora, just for him to see the paopu drawing the next day just shatter my heart.

Aspen's Anniversary Sleepover

Exactly one year ago, as it was turning from July 3rd to July 4th in my Mountain time zone, I was finalizing things and getting ready to post the first fanfic I'd published in more than six years. New account, new fandom. Starting a new stage of life, really... And part of that was to reclaim my love of writing. So I did it.

A lot of things have changed in my life over the course of this particular year's worth of days. Major pieces of my life have shifted, and small things as well. A significant part of my life and happiness since then has been this fandom - writing, reading, connecting with others, developing true friendships. My life doesn't revolve around this stuff, but it has grown from the good here.

AND SO I WANT TO THROW MY FIRST SLEEPOVER PARTY WITH YOU, MY TUMBLR FRIENDS - FROM THE CASUAL FOLLOWERS TO THE MUTUAL BESTIES!

The actual sleepover festivities will take place this weekend, but I'm posting to commemorate THE ANNIVERSARY MOMENT.

Maybe taped on the 5th Oct remember there was a pap pic outside his hotel wearing his same kilt outfit dated the 5th and everyone thought it was a mistake and was the 4th for KOTQ , then Melissa posted the same pic on the 6th saying “ groomed by me yesterday “. We’ll soon know if he appears on Fallon in a kilt 😂

Exactly my thoughts Anon. We'll wait and see. It's possible.

People were going by the rings, and thought he must have switched the ring from his index finger to his ring finger, wearing both rings on the ring finger at the event. And I considered that as well to be true, in fact it is, as you can see by the pics of the event itself.

But later on at the event, both rings are on his ring finger

As we know the pics on Getty images, he wore the rings on different fingers when he left the hotel

But still when he arrived back, later on in the evening

So, in my humble rational opinion, if this last pic was taken arriving back at the hotel in the evening was taken after the KOTQ event, he would have still worn them both on his ring finger. Sure, he could have switched it back, but that seems less credible to me.

Funny how he's still holding the same brand of flavored Sparkling water when arrived back, Spindrift. Did you notice he started following that brand a couple of day ago? 😂

Anyway, seems odd if Getty, JJ and Melissa all got the date wrong. So we could be on the right track here Anon. Let's see if he shows up in the same kilt, and wears the rings on different fingers in the show. 😂

4th December 1745: saw Charles Edward Stuart Jacobite army reach Derby.

Many believe that the Jacobite that this could have been a pivotal ,moment doting the ‘45

It was a long march under the leadership of Charles Edward Stuart - also known as 'The Young Pretender' or Bonnie Prince Charlie. The journey was part of their bid to reach London and overthrow the incumbent monarchy of George II.

Altrincham a small town south of Manchester, and not too far north of Derby was about as far south as the Jacobites ever reached in their campaign. They eventually turned back. It is arguably the greatest ‘what if’ in Scottish history

If you can find a copy, the best account of the ’45 is by David Daiches in his magisterial Charles Edward Stuart: The Life and Times of Bonnie Prince published in 1973.

On 3rd December 1745 word reached Derby that a nine or ten thousand strong Jacobite army was about to arrive.e newly formed Derbyshire Blues, under the command of the Duke of Devonshire, decided to retreat fifty miles to Retford and left Derby to its fate.

True enough the following day the Jacobite army entered Derby, having marched south from Carlisle on 18th November. The entry of the army into the town was carefully planned to give the impression that Charles did indeed have 9,000 men, though the true number was a lot less. At eleven o’clock in the morning the vanguard, consisting of some thirty horse entered the town and ordered quarters for nine thousand men. In the afternoon the life-guards and some of the principal officers on horseback arrived and this was followed by the main body through the course of the evening; entering in detached parties to make the army appear as numerous as possible. The capital was said to be in panic and the Bank of England in chaos as neither Cumberland's or Wades armies were well placed to tackle the Jacobite army.

The next day, 5th December, the Jacobites called a council meeting in Exeter House to decide the best way to proceed. They were now only 125 miles from London, just six days march and while Charles wanted to continue south and take on London many were against this decision. With the two government armies behind them and a third army defending London some Jacobites were worried they didn’t have enough support. They had not gathered many men on their route south and the long-promised French help had failed to materialise.

Lord George Murray argued that during their march south they had seen more enemies for their cause than friends and he feared being penned in on three sides. He argued that even if the Jacobite army defeated the Government armies on the day, they would undoubtedly lose men and be unfit to face a second battle. If they were defeated so far from home then the reality was they would be captured and likely sentenced to death. The Prince was forced to admit he had no promise of support from English Jacobites and no idea when or if the French would invade.

Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card Chapter 71: Comments + JP-ENG translation differences

(pic courtesy of Dyoring on Twitter because the JP one criminally covers the costumes) Looks like I'm still alive after that bomb that was chapter 70, huh? 😂 Welcome back to our monthly appointment with angst with the commentary on Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card, everyone! Last chapter might have bent me, but I'm not broken yet! Mwahaha! And yet, I can't say this chapter completely healed me, far from it! Sure, it's full of fluff and happy feelings...but man, how we feel his absence here. It's so apparent and glaring that it hinders the complete enjoyment of the chapter, which I'm sure is totally the feeling CLAMP wanted to elicit from us. If you care even a little about the new characters, you can't help but feel a sense of "this is not how it's supposed to be", while reading this. Fortunately, the cliffhanger at the end gives us good hope for the kids to start get into action to solve this mess at the earliest, hopefully with the help of someone we were waiting for? In the meantime, let's explore this chapter and all that it talked about...I don't have particular translation mistakes from the ENG version to report this time around (thank god).

The Color Page

Well, this was a surprise? I didn't expect a color page like this, opening the very last volume of Clear Card Arc, but it's also true that there can be a quite powerful meaning behind those four outfits. They're literally representing the first discrepancies that originated after Kaito's rewriting of everyone's memories. Sakura's eyes are closed, she appears to be very pensive, no, actually as if she's contemplating something. About to make a decision. As she stands literally in the middle of all those outfits, this can be interpreted as way to convey how she's in the middle of these two lives they have lived and are living right now, and she's probably the one who can really do something about this whole mess. The conjunction ring. "Which outfit am I going to choose to wear?" isn't the frivolous question it might seem, but in this case it actually means "which life will I decide to keep?" Tough question, for an even tougher answer. But remember what Touya onii-chan said. "When it's up to me to decide what's real and what's not, then I decide to go with what I don't want to lose".

Besides the hidden meaning analysis, this is also a nice way to have set in canon the colors of *all* the main outfits for the play. (●ˇ∀ˇ●) (nice to know Akiho's Alice outfit actually got a gradient blue on her shirt!)

A New Life

The chapter starts with a very, very familiar scene, which might not have been drawn exactly the same as the original one, but it's definitely designed to remind you of it: the very first scene of volume 1, with Kero (and this time, Suppy) waking Sakura up to go to school!! I see what you did there, CLAMP 😏 In their latest Twitter Spaces where they talked about Clear Card, they did mention how the last volume would serve as a way for things to come full circle, and what's better than making a reference to the very first pages of chapter 1? We have the same Sakura introducing herself to the readers (breaking the 4th wall), same Kero shouting that it's time to go, same Sakura getting ready (this time she's evidently in a hurry though). We're clearly being introduced to her new life (that only we know is new) after Kaito rewrote their memories thanks to Momo's book. And well well well, what do we have here?? It's the very first panel of the chapter, no, of the volume, and we're already spotting something off, here??

Oooh, the Kinomoto home....grew an additional portion of itself?? Or did they build it in the few months that passed from the school play? I wonder what for...? heheh...(already knows)

But that's not the only surprise! We just need to turn the page and we are immediately taken aback by Sakura getting ready...with a new school uniform, which represents her second winter uniform (the one reserved for the colder months, just like it happened in Tomoeda Elementary) while she tells us she soon will be attending the 2nd year of Tomoeda Middle school!!! I was completely shocked when I saw her total-black new uniform!! I have to say that the idea of unifying the top and the skirt in a one-piece dress is definitely good, I really like it, but I thought that having even the black tights might be a little bit too much. Later we'll discover she's got black boots too. I'd need to see this in full color to judge! I predict the tie and decorations will be red! 👀 I want to point it out now, since Sakura says it immediately, but the French translation made it sound like she's already starting the second year of middle school, and honestly the ENG translation with the choice of words kinda infers the same: but from what we'll see in a few pages, we're in full winter (it's about to snow too) and Japan usually gets spring vacations between March 25th and April 5th (right between the end of a school year and the beginning of the next) so it cannot be really that imminent. I predict this could be February/early March at best. The JP text says もうすぐ which means "soon" but that can also only mean they're just in the last month of the school term.

So we basically had another mini time skip of about 5/6 months, considering the play very likely took place in September (kids were already wearing their long sleeved uniforms but some guests to the school event still wore short sleeves). If you ask me, it doesn't look like Sakura grew much in these 6 months. 😂

And when she quickly goes downstairs, that's where we find the other surprise (which was actually expected): AKIHO IS COOKING IN THE KITCHEN, apron over her uniform and all!! Yeah, remember? Thanks to the rewriting of their memories, now they're living their life as sisters! In fact, we see them interacting in a friendly and comfortable way, which is totally reminiscing of how they were interacting even before this big change happened. And yet, personally, I have a hard time getting used to the new arrangement. 😅 Sakura introduces Akiho to us as her twin sister, confirming they live together with Touya and Fujitaka too.

Sakura tells us people often comment about how they resemble each other very much, and as if on cue, Mokona sensei provides us with yet another very cute double feature of Sakura and Akiho smiling happily and lovingly at eachother. As much as I want Akiho to go back to her real family, I have to admit this panel totally melted me. ❤️ My lovely Akiho looks so happy....and that's why it also hurts a lot. Well, here come the first explanations of how this hell of a change can work at all, in this situation!! Apparently, Akiho has always suffered of fragile health ever since she was young (....) so she always lived with great-grandfather Masaki to get treatment and rest. With some friends we have been joking that, if this is the result of what Kaito wrote in the story he wanted for Akiho, he must have watched lots of soap operas, because the justifications totally seems at the writing level of one! 😂 Sakura says Akiho came back home to live with them only recently. And while Akiho excitedly yells that she's cooked the no-fry croquettes that Sakura taught her the recipe of, we also find out from narrator Sakura that this is probably the reason why Akiho still addresses her in a very polite way, with suffix -san and all. And sigh, my heart here broke a little because the no-fry croquettes....was the recipe Sakura taught Akiho specifically for Kaito, and that she successfully prepared for their date, eliciting a delighted comment from him. ☹️☹️Now she's still cooking them for her loved ones...but it's different. ☹️ Aaaaaa but here comes Fujitaka, ready to have breakfast and go to work, greeting both his daughters.........gosh, this sounds so weird. Will I get used to this madness before this chapter ends?? As it normally would be expected from him in this situation, Fujitaka addresses Akiho with a -san suffix too, so narrator Sakura says that probably that's also where all Akiho's politeness comes from. Fujitaka says that Touya conveniently left very early for his job, and Sakura adds that he'll go straight to his university classes afterwards. Uh uh uh, I wonder why CLAMP didn't want to show us Touya's reaction yet. Did he notice anything...? Fujitaka-papa gets ready to taste Akiho's croquettes....and with a delighted face he says they're delicious!! ......I mean, this totally works. Look at these two dorks faces, they light up in the same way. 🙈😅😅

Narrator Sakura keeps telling us about Akiho and how she transferred to her school before summer (and behind her, in the flashback, we can see the name Kinomoto Akiho written on the board), that she participated to the play for the school event and all...and that she wants to make so, so many happy experiences now that she's with her sister, to make up for the time they spent apart.

The girls leave the house and we get a chance to see the coats of the second winter uniform too: they're very pretty and compliment the whole outfits very well (they got big scarves and gloves too!). Some snowflakes start to fall down and Akiho just needs to sneeze once to unleash the scariest kaijuu in Sakura: ....that of the fussing big sister! 😅😅 she gives her her own scarf on top of Akiho's one and feels with her own forehead if she's getting a fever, demanding to know immediately if she starts feeling unwell! 😅😅Akiho worries that Sakura would get cold in this way, but she doesn't want to hear any of it!! Awwww, how can I not melt in front of this? 🥹My gosh Sakura really is super protective of Akiho here...and we immediately get another character to remark that: our dear Tomoyo!! She comments on Sakura's behavior in JP with this funny way which could be translated more or less with "powerful big sister manners", and I cannot really disagree! 😂 Akiho states that she's feeling better now, that she doesn't experience pain like before...but Tomoyo just knows that Sakura will worry no matter what, and the girl in question confirms so herself: because Akiho is someone important to her. Akiho cannot really do much else than blushing with happiness and thank her...😊 Tomoyo gives the final touch to this scene with one of her kind but sharp comments: "Maybe sister complex runs in the family!", making reference to a very early joke in CCS where Yukito teased Touya telling him he had a sister complex for how he's always so protective of his younger sister: well, guess what, now said sister gets to have the same complex towards her twin too 😂😂

We proceed with the chapter and we have Sakura meeting Syaoran in front of the school, showing us how nice and elegant the male second winter uniform (well, we mostly see the coat) is! Syaoran comments how cold it got overnight and as the caring and loving boyfriend he is, he inquires his girlfriend about her health. Luckily she's super healthy, and apparently, as she says herself, the Cards are too! Yessss, folks, it seems the Sakura Cards are back with Sakura, now!! Sakura didn't have a particular reason, but apparently the previous night she summoned Mirror to have a chat! Syaoran asks what she wanted to discuss about with him, and Sakura announces that she was thinking about telling everything to Akiho. Everything that happened while they were apart...about Tomoyo and her costumes, about Kero, Yukito and Yue, Kaho, Eriol, Nakuru and Suppi....and most importantly, about the Cards.

Now, before we proceed, I would like to talk about two different aspects that really stood out for me from this couple of pages. First: the relationship Sakura's got with her Cards. As I was saying, it seems the Sakura Cards are back with Sakura, and judging by the panel where Sakura says she wants to tell Akiho about them, the Clear Cards don't seem to be part of this scenario. The panel shows both Clow and Sakura Cards (because of course Sakura would need to tell her the whole story), but no Clear Card is present at all. We can only infer that probably everyone forgot about the Clear Cards too (although I still think they exist somewhere, it's just that they're hidden/sealed for now), and that Sakura might not have her problem with the uncontrollable powers anymore. Did Kaito fix that problem for her too, in some way?? Did he really go that far to ensure everyone's happiness...? And another thing I noticed, is that Sakura seems more...comfortable with the Cards and her own powers. Summoning a Card just to have a nice chat is the complete opposite of what she was doing at the beginning of chapter 1. She had put away her key, saying "I don't use it much anyway...and maybe it's better like that". The next thing you know, the day after she started producing incidents and Clear Cards. You see, I'm not sure how accurate this is, but ever since this started I've always thought that the problem with Sakura's rampant powers was caused by something of psychological nature. Since the production of the Cards seemed to be so connected to her emotions, in the beginning her power was so chaotic that the Cards were pretty much originating randomly (Gale does seem really random and not based on any thought or memory Sakura had), to become more and more connected with her thoughts and desires along the way. The more she got in touch with herself and her desires, the more the Cards were produced as a result of those, and eventually Sakura found out on her own that the Cards were originating from her own wishes. But that did not end there, because the Clear Cards started to change again when Sakura started to finally listen to Syaoran's advice to look into herself and listen to the stirrings of her heart, and started trusting her intuition and powers more: from merely following her wishes, the Cards started to take the appearances of her loved ones, which would become important later on in Clockland to help her remind who she was. Basically, anticipating her needs. Even if we didn't see an immediate reaction from her, finding her loved ones on her way contributed to wake up her conscience, with the final coup de grace from Akiho and Syaoran. So where I'm getting at is....could it be that Sakura's connection and trust in her magical powers, in this gift she's been blessed with, has become so strong that it ended up stabilizing it? While she was detached and almost refusing it before, dismissing her intuitions as "it's just my imagination", now she's learned to accept it as a part of herself and trust it more? If this is the case, I think that would be a very lovely character development for her. We'll see if I got it right.

The second thing is that I cannot help but noticing again how Kaito really avoided changing any important part (save for adding a sister) of Sakura's life: everything is still as it was before, the events in her memories still happened as they happened, it's just that everything that concerns Akiho has been staged differently, in order to fit her in.

Syaoran, as the honest and straightforward boy he is, comments that probably what Sakura wants to tell Akiho will be a shock for her twin, Sakura doesn't deny that but confidently replies that knowing her, she'll accept the situation just fine. Syaoran wonders if that will really be the case since she doesn't have magic (he poses the uncomfortable but necessary questions), he's evidently worried she might feel somehow less for not being blessed with that gift....and here Sakura replies something that I publicly thanked CLAMP for on my twitter account, because it was time for a character to spell it out:

JP: (Yes), because Akiho-chan is...a very kind and strong person.

Kind, because she would accept whatever concerns her dear sister with the purest heart, devoid of any jealousy. And strong, because she'd be able to withstand the inevitable feeling of comparison that would ensue. Yes, because Akiho IS strong. She's resilient. She wouldn't have survived her trauma and abuse if she wasn't strong. She wouldn't have that single crumb of information about her parents that connects her with them, if she didn't keep stubbornly insisting with her clan to tell her something about them. She wouldn't have stubbornly insisted when she saw her most important person shutting a door in her face because he couldn't share his burden with her. I beg you to not reduce her character to just a girl we should pity on, because she's nothing like that. Let's drop the narrative she's "passive" right now. Otherwise when we'll see what is probably about to happen, she'll seem "out of character" for you. When she's always been like this, all along. Syaoran comments that Sakura really trusts Akiho, and wonders if it's because they're twins... Again, Sakura shows how wonderful she is, but most importantly, how her emphathic nature helps her amplifying her foretelling powers without even realizing it. Because she makes a very relevant comment: JP: "Even if she weren't my twin, I'd still believe in her. Because feelings and emotions aren't measured with time"

Again, let me clap my hands till they hurt. Because I can't count how many times, along the years, I've seen Sakura's bond with Akiho being dismissed or questioned just because they've been knowing eachother for short time. "Why does she fusses about Akiho so much? She's barely arrived shortly ago!" This is Sakura crossing the T's and dotting the I's for everyone. The value of her bond with Akiho isn't measured with the length of time they've spent together. If she feels she loves her very much despite knowing her since short time, that love is true and genuine nonetheless. As for someone who's able to experience very strong bonds with people in short time, what Sakura says here feels extremely validating on a personal level, too.

This reminds Sakura that she wants to talk to Akiho about someone else too....with a blush, she says she wants to tell her about Syaoran, how they met, how he's always coming to her rescue, and also...that he's her most important person ❤️ (the trademark definition!)

And here Ohkawa is finally paying her dues by writing this cute lovey dovey moment between SyaoSaku in the chapter, where the two lovebirds hold hands (scandalous!! 😂) and share a romantic forehead touch that shows an intimacy that is unrivaled by what we've seen of them till now, while Sakura says (with a hint of sadness?? Am I imagining things, or are her intuitive powers at work again?) that she would like to hear from Akiho about her most important person too. Yeah. I would like to hear about that too....

And as if to say "WELLLL, ABOUT THAT-" Sakura suddenly falls into a dream-state, and guess who she finds in front of her, in a scene that is a complete reference to a panel from chapter 6?

YEA, you guessed it, it's MCF!! 😂 our Mysterious Cloaked Figure just can't avoid bothering Sakura even in her new, rewritten, happy life, but lo and behold, when Sakura asks them who they are, they remove their hood without any drama!! And who could it be under that hood? Dear CCS fans, this chapter was shorter than usual with just 25 pages, but oh my gosh, if it didn't end up with a surprising cliffhanger that actually makes you go "WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT BEFORE?" 😂

Young Lilie to the rescue!

A young Lilie stands in front of Sakura, introducing herself:

"I'm Lilie. I've crossed [time] and [dreams] to meet you"

Oh my gosh how cute she is, smiling brightly as usual! 😍 Since here she's clearly Sakura's age, we can see how young Lilie used to have her hair slightly longer than her daughter Akiho at the same age. ❤️ What is happening here? For those confused, or who aren't familiar with CLAMP's other manga, I'll copy-paste here what I've already written on my Twitter thread. What Lilie did here is customary in CLAMP's manga. People with lots of power are capable of crossing dreams, even in a different point in time. That's why Lilie says "I've crossed TIME and dreams to meet you". Lilie is already a Yumemi, so it isn't suprising at all that she can work her magic on dreams. She probably attempted this when she was still alive, of course, and about 13 (Sakura's age). Think of it as a "videocall from the past". Lilie is, at current state, of course still very much dead. She isn't revived or anything. This is a "communication" Sakura received from Lilie from the past, because of course she already knew how things could go and she made sure to reach out and help however she could. Remember Clow at the Final Judgement? He also left a "message" for Sakura from when he was still alive, through a dream. Time travel with your physical body might be another story altogether, but visiting people through their dreams is very "customary" in CLAMP's manga 😂

Now, we only need to see what Lilie will tell to our dear heroine. If she will spill the entire story, or if she'll give the necessary basic info but will wait for the girls, or rather, for her daughter to remember about Kaito on her own. Maybe with a little push. Of course I had already imagined (and even warmly called for) an intervention from Lilie, in some kind of way, but I guessed she would go talking to Kaito, as a ghost or something. That's where CLAMP surprised me again, making her go to talk to Sakura instead, and also revealing that MCF was her, or rather, one of the MCFs we have seen throughout the story. Because I'm still convinced that, basing on the scene, MCF wasn't the same person everytime. We have seen how sometimes it was Syaoran (and we'll probably find out why). Sometimes we have seen them outside Sakura's room, on a lamp post (and I imagine that one could've been really Akiho, maybe in a moment in her dreams when the artifact took control of her). We have a MCF often accompanied by a Dragon, we'll need to see who exactly that one is, too. Well, all in all, a few hours later I can say I digested this chapter a bit better, but man at first it was really hard. All this fluff, all this blushing, these warm feelings...people doting on Akiho, seeing her so happy....and I couldn't stop thinking about him....our Kaito who gave everything he could give of him to make this become true....where are you now...? ☹️ If I pause long enough to think about it, the stinging feeling comes back. I'm sure they'll come rescueing you soon. And you'll be so shocked, because the last thing you're expecting is that anyone would come searching for you. Claiming you back. Oh there's so much you're gonna learn, very soon, Kaito. And I can't wait to see it!!

Alright, so Akin I've tried way too many times by now, and I quit. These are the ones I was most satisfied with. The first one is a true copy of how he actually looks in game, so I am extremely pleased with that, and as soon as I saw it I said FINALLY! This is actually how I imagine him, apart from his missing dreads, and that his hair actually is very dark brown, not black. The 4th pic I took cause it's not much my Akin, but I think it's a good picture of how he probably looked if he was a real human being walking around in the world. Slimmer jaw tho... slimmer jaw.

For dealing with this conflicts the cards talk about making activities that help you raise your vibration, think about any hobby you had but left forgotten and reconnect with that, try new things if you prefer to but begin with this to help you heal yourself. All the energies that move around you are very subtle so the changes will be too, day by day you'll feel more happy and aligned with your soul path, slowly but steady everything will get into place, don't rush because there's no need to but be consistant with every step forward you give and don't back down, you are doing a great job healing. ☆ Tips for Koopa Week ☆

Hey everyone, hope you have been doing great! July is almost over, and Koopa Week will start soon!

In case this is the first time you are hearing about this and are interested in taking part, I'll explain quickly: Koopa Week (August 4th-12th) is an event in which people show their love for Bowser, the Koopalings, and Bowser Jr. How? By posting stuff related to them! Each character has their own day. You can check the calendar here !

Now that it's explained, I would love to give all of you some tips for the event in case you want to participate, regardless if this will be the first time you do so or not!

1. It's not necessary to participate in every day of Koopa Week!

Yes, you heard it right. Even though it's great to make something for every day of the event, it's not necessary! Most people only participate on Bowser Day and leave it there, since he's the main character during this event. You are more than welcome to do something only for characters of your choice. This also applies if you get busy with stuff in real life!

2. Art is not the only thing you can post!

It's true! Art is wonderful in many ways, but it's not the only thing you can do for this event! Posting pics of plushes or other stuff you own of any character from the list is also cool!

3. Remember to tag your posts!

This is a very important point! People usually look for other people's stuff to share. An appropiate tag to put your works under is "Koopa Week" or "Koopa Week <year>". While "Koopaling Week" is also used, we need to keep in mind that Bowser and Junior are part of the event too. Other suggested tags are name of characters and <character> Day

4. Don't let people stop you from doing what you like this week!

This means that you should ignore people who dislike what other people like, being, in this case, people who hate the Koopalings for certain reasons. So please, don't take seriously people's negative comments!

I would also like to add something that I shouldn't be putting here in the first place, but have been wanting to say: If you don't like a character featured in this event, that is completely fine. But please, don't make negative comments about said characters during this event, especially when people are looking forward to find and share posts they like!

Saying "I honestly don't like <character>, so I'll be skipping this day" is more respectful towards others than saying "Happy <name> Day to one of the worst characters I've ever seen", followed by hateful art, or "I'm not gonna be celebrating <character> and will go with <character that isn't featured in Koopa Week> instead, because they're way more better!". Reminding all of you that this is an event to show love for these characters, so hate is not welcome. This is more of an issue that is going on outside of Tumblr, but still wanna point it out because I have no clue if this will be shared in other media in hopes to help others. Hi I may be late to the party on this but I want to thank you for this post. I was made aware of the rumor about Jensen & Erin last week. So I did my own research and found it to be total bs and not true. Nothing the person said makes any sense and can easily be debunked. I know you debunked some but I would like to add a few more for people reading your blog if that is okay.

-The Erin heading to Austin IG post now I am not totally 100% sure. But I think the pic used for the post was a pic Erin posted as a IG story. The post looked suspiciously photoshopped. The date of the post and the date on the pic do not match. So I think they used what she posted to IG story and made it a IG post.

**side note for everyone: there are sites that will allow you to fake IG and other social media posts. People need to keep that in mind incase a screenshot of a post doesn’t look right.**

-The quickie on set is definitely bs. Both Jensen & Erin are professional actors. They are not going to be wreck less to do something that will get them both fired. Plus like you said that would have spread like wildfire yet that person is the only one that knows. Besides only time we have seen anything of Erin & Jensen on set is the video where several of them was doing the light as a feather thing with Laz goofing around.

-The 2 IG story photos one that was supposedly wine with a card that said loved Jensen & one of them supposedly in bed together they don’t exist. It doesn’t matter if the IG story is up 30 seconds or less someone is going to see it and it would be everywhere in a matter of seconds.

-The necklace Erin has one in her IG post from September 4th they claimed was a gift from Jensen. That a friend whose husband works on the set of The Boys said it came from Jensen. If you look through Erin’s IG she sometimes wears 2 necklaces. But the gold one that she has on in her September 4th post you see pics of her wearing it in 2020. The Boys season 3 didn’t start filming till 2021 cause the world was on lockdown 2020. So how can he give her a necklace she is wearing way before meeting him.

There is so much more but I don’t want to take over your blog with it. But everything said can be easily debunked. I believe this person originally said it was Karen & Jensen that hooked up cause of pics of them together at official events for The Boys. But when Karen posted several posts with her long time love they switched to Erin. I see that Erin’s IG comments are basically limited now. This person harassed her so much she had to take that step. I know Jensen isn’t a lot of people’s favorite person but he doesn’t deserve to have rumors like that started about him. Erin doesn’t deserve to be dragged into it cause this person has som weird agenda. No one deserves it and I hope this person gets help and stop making up false rumors that has no truth to it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to break down more of the stories that person was spreading. My apologies for posting this only now but I've been fairly busy and so I tried to get in some down time. You weren't late in any way and your input is much appreciated. I wish people would take the time to gain more awareness about what happens online. I once got an SM message from someone claiming to be Jensen's manager and they were claiming Jensen really appreciated my comments and wanted to speak to me. Because I know my fair share about the industry and I also know what the online environment entails to a great degree, I absolutely did not fall for that but I did think that really young, inexperienced or perhaps naive people possibly could. That is just one example, there's also scamming, phishing, impersonation and so much more going on online that we really need to be very careful and set healthy boundaries. There are, for example, a lot of men posting as Misha or whatever and asking money from unsuspecting women. My point is, some do crazy things online and while I have not been fully able to identify the reason behind this person's manipulative stories about Erin and Jensen (aside from a huge obsession with both clearly), impersonation and then lack of responsibility, they clearly did not have the best of intentions and I never want to see people on the other end of buying into such stories.
