3.4 LIVESTREAM HIGHLIGHTS !

In the upcoming update, we’ll finally get to experience Lantern Rite once again with its new events and memories to come! 

For this year, Liyue will throw a music festival in celebration of Lantern Rite. Come join Hu tao, Xinyan, Yun Jin, and many other Liyue characters (with Venti) in celebrating the festival !

CHARACTER EVENT WISHES

For Phase I, Alhaitham and Yaoyao will be available as well as Xiao’s rerun. Meanwhile, Hu Tao and Yelan will also have their own reruns in Phase II. 

There will also be a new weapon available for Alhaitham. 

NEW MAP, STORY QUESTS, BOSSES, ETC.

In 3.4, we’ll be able to explore a new area in Sumeru’s desert called the Desert of Hadramaveth and experrience sandstorm conditions and learn more things about the desert. 

Not only will we experience the Lantern Rite, but also Alhaitham’s first story quest and help him with his duties as the Acting Grand Sage of Sumeru.

We’ll also have a new boss called Setekh Wenut, who’ll be found in the new area of Sumeru’s desert.  

EVENTS AND NEW OUTFITS

In 3.4, we’ll get to participate in Lantern Rite’s special events such as Paper Theater and Radiant Sparks. We’ll be able to take part in the Almighty Arataki Extraordinary and Exhilarating Extreme Beetle Brawl where we get to experience beetle fights as well as Warrior’s Spirit. 

There’ll also be an event, Second Blooming, where we can obtain Lisa Minci’s first outfit for free! Kamisato Ayaka’s first new outfit will also be obtainable in the shop with genesis crystals with a limited time offer duration. 

From Lantern Rite, we’ll also be able to obtain a free 4* Liyue character (with Yaoyao being a part of it) through increasing festive fever as well as free 10 wishes from sign-in rewards. 

NEW OST ALBUM

During the 3.4 update, Hoyoverse will publish Stellar Moments Vol. 3 with 26 splendid tracks from infamous character demos (Arataki Itto, Shenhe, Yun jin, Yae Miko, Kamisato Ayato, Yelan, Kuki Shinobu, Heizou, Tighnari, Collie, Dori, Candace, Cyno, Nilou, Nahida, and more!)

As you may know, yesterday the 3.4 genshin livestream was broadcasted and since I usually make a summary for my friends I thought I could post it here too, so that if someone wants to catch up with the news they can do it with a bit of fun.

General intro:

Lantern rite fusion - The excuisite night chime

Yaoyao:

-disciple of madame ping, takes care of shenhe and ganyu cuz she's used to city life

- polearm, healing, skill like sayu mixed with amber basically (lil companion which attacks and heals), burst with which yuegui creates copies of itself when yaoyao runs or attacks and hits enemies itself + speed and dendro res up, not detected by wild creatures

Alhaitham:

-sassy against the akademya (duh), stole attack phrases from dendro traveler, introverted bean (socializes out of duty lol)

-personal story quest coming out - starting from after the departure of the grand sage and sumeru crisis

-skill: mirrors around him for coordinated attacks, conversion to dendro dmg -> number of mirrors varies (generated by skill and talent use)

-burst: consumes mirrors for aoe dendro dmg and creating other mirrors

-crafting talent for weapon materials

-Lantern rite: faraway guests for music bands, ganyu backstory hints, Paper theater gameplay, Radiant sparks: parkour, now with fireworks!, Combat challenges, invite a 4* from liyue

-May fortune find you: login event + 3 fates on mail

-Beetle battle (title is longer but i'm not gonnna write that down): ofc itto is involved, it's a f*cking beetle mortal combat

-Warrior's spirit: martial arts competition by yashiro commission, basically like the old event in which you could only attack and parry + special ayaka outfit

-Second blooming: lisa skin, 3 rounds with 3 teams with linkages (certain characters will be used in the next round compulsorily)

-heated battle mode for gi tcg - special rules for games (8 omni dice without rolling phase)

So with the confirmation that Venti is going to be at the Lantern Rite, Venti has officially traveled to both Inazuma (Irodori Festival) and Liyue during an event (as if to brush off an archon’s appearance in a foreign country) after the death of the original Seven.

And I’m going to make a somewhat wild guess that we’ll see Venti at a Sumeru event in the near (I hope) future.

Because at Irodori, Venti had that weird hush hush conversation with Yae Miko, and this is a big deal because it was a required part of the quest you had to see even though your conversation with them was just acknowledging it and moving on.

In (I think) Zhongli’s lines, it’s confirmed that the new archons do not meet like how the original Seven did.

And now Venti will—hopefully—be seen with Zhongli in this Lantern Rite, and possibly even Xiao, the right hand to Zhongli.

I’m suspecting that these are the hints to endgame, that Venti is going around either discussing a plan or giving out information he alone holds to the archons he gets along with… for the most part.

What he knows or is plotting, asking, or figuring out is a mystery to me, but I think Yae Miko and Venti’s conversation might be directly related to Venti traveling around the nations now.

Käärijä and Bojan meeting  -timeline (Part. 1)

So, I wanted to make a timeline about the eurovision preparties because I’ve been way too frustrated when people say that this is the first time that Käärijä and Bojan met:

When it is NOT!

So because it’s raining outside and I’m bored, I present to you: Käärijä and Bojan preparties timeline (part 1)

Preparties were held in:

Barcelona (23.3.2023)

Warsaw (1.4.2023)

Tel-aviv (3.4.2023)

Madrid (7.-8.4.2023)

Amsterdam (15.4.2023)

London (16.4.2023).

Joker Out participated in every pre-party, Käärijä participated in Madrid, Amsterdam and London.

1. Before Preparties, sometime in march: 

Bojan trying his best to learn cha cha cha (from Joker out’s instagram).

2. Barcelona 23.3.

Nothing particular here expect this cute moment from Joker out interview when they were asked to sing their favorite part of their song:

Again, nothing special, Käärijä in Finland doing gigs and losing his boleros, Joker out in Poland, Bojan very sick.

4. Tel-aviv 3.4.

Bojan still sick, Käärijä still in Finland.

This time they danced to cha cha cha in party buss, there’s video somewhere in the internet.

5. Madrid 7.-8.4.

Now we are talking. The first party where Käärijä was also present. 

Madrid pre-party was two-day party and they met in the first day, April 7th.  I’m pretty confident that Käärijä had no idea until this party who Joker Out (or Bojan) was because he was pretty busy doing gigs back in Finland (and he also kind of admitted that he hasn’t listened all of the Eurovision songs at this point). At that point he had said that his favorites were Germany and Austria or any other song he had listened in this video.

On the contrary, Joker out had been very vocal about Käärijä in their twitter (and in their interviews): 

This was tweeted right after Käärijä won the UMK, in febuary 25th

Käärijä-pe Diem was later mentioned again by Bojan in his and Käärijä’s instagram live in May

Anyway, back to Madrid...

April 7th: The meeting

here is link to the video of Käärijä being very lost and kind of nervous because it is his first time meeting everyone (also you can see joker out behind him)

(Very loose translation: He is saying that the people there are really nice and that he is slowly getting better in english. He says that everybody is taking pictures together but not with him. Then he zooms to the mediapeople (they are waiting to go to do the interviews).
