can't exactly call these last 3 episodes worth the wait, evil bucket list guy is just such a stupid concept and the execution isn't impressive enough to salvage it, doing a "he just wanted friends :(" after he intentionally unleashes zombies on an otherwise protected village is such a wild angle. Show had decently fun moments throughout and I'd overall call it entertaining enough, but still kind of meh on the series as a whole.

First episode I thought was reasonably decent, the first 10 minutes setting up a mystery that actually matters to any of the characters is nice for a start, and then the remainder of the episode is spent on a mystery that both ties into earlier episodes, as well as has something of an antagonist figure by which we can at least have a back-and-forth, so overall the episode was just more fun to watch. ggs.

In this heat, local children spring about

like they are immune.

They tear through the supermarket

unbridled chaos and joy.

It makes me smile

but I,

I cannot look back

not too far

not too long.

Quiet and even-paced,

wrangling kid-siblings,

being reckless only outdoors,

in a way that looked

uncouth;

but nobody was there to see.

There were no camera phones

and my childhood spent up trees and by creeks and

on the edge of the road and

in cupboards and under beds and standing still behind

a jutting-out wall

may never have existed at all.

I didn’t run in the supermarket,

but I was immune to the sun myself

and I did spring about, grinning,

even bridled.
