Synopsis: Victoria Shard was a former member of the popular idol group [ Poisoner ] from NRC corporations. After discourse with her group leader, Victoria decided it was best for her to leave and pursue her solo career in a record label run by her parents.

It had been half a year since her separation from her old group, and Victoria had never been more successful. But now she has a new problem. She must return to NRC corporations in order to mentor the seven idol groups.

Ellis Clawthorne is a member of [ (Co)-connect ] the most recent group under NRC'S belt. With no experience as an idol, Ellis must persevere in order to succeed and pursue her dreams.

Will both girls be able to adapt to their current situations?

I always thought of this interpretation of the reader(Aguri/Y/N) to be a bit of a Disney kid, and probably got into acting after watching the Narnia movies and other Disney sitcoms such as Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly place, The suite life of Zack and Cody, etc.

So naturally I gave them a record player that played his favorite Disney songs ^^

When you woke up, you felt even more exhausted than when you were awake hours before.

As much as you wanted to hold Kaz close to your chest until the test of time, you knew he'd probably suffocate after staying in your arms for too long.

So when you woke up, it didn't surprise you that Kaz wasn't in your arms anymore.

Sitting up, you yawned and stretched your arms, relishing in the cold atmosphere that your air conditioning brought into the room.

"... Vil made a really stupid decision… And most of the time he has a bit of common sense." You murmured, pondering about Vil's decision to make Koral his group's manager.

Was it the right choice? As problematic as Koral already is, you would've expected Vil to be judgemental of her. But now he's planning to appoint her as his manager?

You groaned, covering your face with your ring-covered hands."He's been so delusional lately…" you groaned before you left your bed and went into the kitchen.

When you entered, you were already questioning what you should have for dinner. Weird as it may sound to others, you ended up choosing pancakes with sugar and syrup for dinner.

And you quickly went to work. Kaz happened to unintentionally activate your old record player and started playing your favorite Disney songs.

You hummed, a soft smile on your face as you mixed the pancake batter while 'Once upon a dream' was playing.

It didn't help that you put the bowl down to do an imaginary waltz with an imaginary figure. Weird as it may be, it felt like a fun pastime to do when you didn't have anything else to do.

After your little once-upon-a-dance number, you turned your attention back to your pancake batter and began pouring the mixture onto the pan and did what you could to make the pancakes look… Presentable.

You inhaled the scent and grinned."Everything's off to a good start…" you said to yourself, and Kaz meowed at you in response. Which you assumed to be his way of making a passing comment at you.

You squint your eyes at your cat."Don't give me that look, Kaz." Your adorable little feline only meowed and you could only shake your head in amusement and flip another one of your pancakes.

In total you managed to make at least five pancakes. And they looked even more delectable when you put the syrup and sugar on top.

Suddenly, your phone buzzed, and you couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.

What the hell…. You thought, turning on your phone and seeing that it was Victoria who was texting you.

You smiled at her messages.

Maybe talking with her isn't that bad after all…

Final Fantasy VII rare pairs I like. (Thankfully Aerti is no longer in this category)

Vincent x Aerith and Vincent x Tifa. So I was always a Vincent Fangirl and I shipped both Aerith and Tifa with him. I don’t know if it would work but I will always love those two ships.

Barret x Tifa: Why of why is this not more popular! These two are adorable. When I first played the game I thought they were married. But I still love them and I am thankful the remake is giving me more material.

Zack x Tifa: When I was first introduced to this one I wasn’t really into it. But I thought about it, looked at fanart, and yeah these two would work well together.

Cloud x Yuffie: This one takes a lot of mental gymnastics because I don’t want to ship a 16 year old with a 21 year old. But Cloud was in Shinra for 5 years I think, so... technically his mental age would be five years younger which is her age. But start this ship around AC when Yuffie is 18. Her personality would balance out his really well.

Rude x Tifa: My crack ship. Based on when Reno asked who he had a crush on and he said Tifa.

A Champions League guide for Americans who don’t watch soccer

The Champions League final has more intrigue than ever for American fans.

The biggest sporting event in the world this year is on Saturday. I know what you’re thinking: That’s impossible, the Super Bowl is in February, you idiot!

Look, I know what you mean. The Super Bowl IS a really big deal, especially in the United States where about 100 million people tune in. Worldwide, that number is usually about 150 million, which is definitely A LOT of people.

No, I’m actually talking about the Champions League Final, the biggest annual event in global sports. While the U.S. audience for Europe’s annual club soccer championship game is only about 3-4 million between English and Spanish coverage, worldwide that audience balloons to closer to 400 million (which is actually about 100 million fewer people than tune in for the World Cup final every four years).

I bring this up not to convince you that soccer is actually really cool, but more of a way to give you some ammunition to impress your friends at the next tailgate.

And if you’re the kind of person who’s into that sort of thing, you may be even more interested in this Champions League final than normal. That’s because there are some legitimate reasons American sports fans should care.

Here’s everything you’ll need to know:

Who’s playing?

Two of the richest and most valuable teams in the world: Manchester City and Chelsea. Both play their domestic games in the English Premier League and are considered “new money” clubs. In England where basically every team is more than 100 years old, that just means they’ve played in the lower leagues — that’s due to the whole promotion and relegation thing you’ve probably heard about at some point — recently enough that some of their fans actually remember it. Insanely rich people have since bought the clubs and turned them into wealthy behemoths.

Forbes ranked City the 13th ($4 billion) and Chelsea the 25th ($3.2B) most valuable sports clubs in the world, right there with the biggest NFL, NBA and MLB teams.

Both teams supposedly spent nearly $400 million on salaries in the 2020-21 season and the estimated market value of their rosters is right around $1 billion each.

How can anyone afford that?

The wealth of their ownerships is hard to overstate. Chelsea is owned by Russian oil oligarch Roman Abramovich, whose net worth is estimated at about $15 billion.

He’s actually the less well-heeled of the two. City is owned Sheikh Mansour, who is effectively a stand-in for the United Arab Emirates. His family’s estimated net worth is more than $1 trillion.

Wow, that’s so much money! They must dominate this sport, right?

Eh, not really. While Chelsea previously won the Champions League in 2011-12, this is only their third-ever trip to the final and their first since winning it. They just barely finished fourth in the EPL this year, which means they qualified for next year’s tournament by skin of their teeth. Although City is coming off their third EPL title in four years, this is the first time they’ve ever qualified for the Champions League final. When Mansour bought City in 2008, it was with the express goal of winning Champions League, and after several notable flops the club is now on the precipice.

All that money must buy them some exciting players.

It’s true, both teams have plenty of talent but neither has the sort of worldwide superstar that the casual sports fan probably knows. Leading the line for City are players like İlkay Gündoğan, Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne. Chelsea’s top scorers are Jorginho, Mason Mount, Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham. All exceptionally good players, but even your buddy from college who started following Barcelona after his semester abroad in Spain probably can’t give you much of a scouting report on any of them.

Can you, uh, give me a scouting report?

This is not meant to be a technical column but I see you’re now getting invested, so here goes: Chelsea actually fired their coach — genuine club legend Frank Lampard — earlier this year after spending an ungodly amount on transfers for new players. Almost all that money was spent on attacking players, but their defense is really why they’re here. The Blues have only given up four goals during their entire Champions League campaign, an average of .33 per game. They allowed the second fewest goals in Premier League play, too.

The player who probably best encapsulates Chelsea is Timo Werner, one of those expensive offseason transfers. He’s extremely fast and has moments of absolute brilliance, but also has a rather hilarious penchant for missing seemingly easy shots.

City is a bit more free-flowing, albeit with an equally stout defense. Pep Guardiola is considered one of soccer’s technical geniuses and while they don’t have one big scorer, De Bruyne is one of the smoothest players in the world and a playmaking dynamo. He’s got 10 goals and 18 assists in all his games this year. City led the EPL in scoring, averaged more than two goals a game in Champions League and have outscored their opponents by 90 goals across all competitions this year.

In case you haven’t gathered, City are definitely the favorites to win this, even if Chelsea has won two of three previous meetings this year.

Any notable Americans involved?

Actually, both teams have one! Zack Steffen is a backup goalkeeper for City and even made seven starts across the various competitions this year, including one in Champions League. He’s probably the USMNT’s starting goalkeeper for the foreseeable future.

Chelsea has arguably the best American player in Christian Pulisic, who has six goals and four assists across all competitions this year. Pulisic had a goal and an assist in the Champions League semifinals, becoming the first American to do either that late in the tournament.

One of them will become the first-ever American to win Champions League.

Wait, aren’t Americans bad at soccer?

I get it, the last time you heard about U.S. Soccer it was probably because they failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup ... or maybe it was earlier this year when they missed out on the upcoming Olympics. But we’re actually in the midst of what’s either promising to be a golden generation for American soccer players or the start of the long-promised era of global competence.

That belief is mostly grounded in Americans’ success in European clubs. Steffen was the first American to earn a Premier League medal and combined with Pulisic marks the first time two USMNT players both finished in the top 4. There were six USMNT players who played in the Premier League this year, the most ever (h/t @paulcarr).

Beyond England, Americans were starting for some of the world’s biggest clubs like Barcelona and Juventus; won four league titles; claimed six domestic cups; and every team in the Bundesliga seems to have at least one player repping the red, white and blue. That friend of yours who won’t shut up about his semester abroad is probably going to become even more insufferable, but now you might at least know what he’s talking about.

OK, when is the game?

It’s scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. ET, on Saturday.

How can I watch it?

CBS just acquired the English-language rights and will be airing it on broadcast channels. It can also be streamed through Paramount+ or on FuboTV. If you’re more interested in hearing the Spanish call, TUDN will have that.

Anything notable about the broadcast?

Well, if you know anything about American soccer, you probably know about Clint Dempsey. He was the first legitimate American attacking star to play in England, tied Landon Donovan for the most goals scored for the United States men’s national team and then retired in 2018. He kinda fell off the face of the earth after retiring to North Carolina, but recently surfaced for a lengthy podcast interview with some former teammates. About a week later, it was announced he’d be one of the studio analysts for this game. He’s always had a reputation for being someone who doesn’t really care what others think of him, so this definitely has the potential to be interesting.

Who should I root for?

Good question, here’s our bloggers’ pitches:

We are witnessing one of the greatest managers of all time re-invent himself at City. Boy, what a year 2019 ended up being! As I’m closing in on the year, I’m nearing 278 books read this year. So picking the top 10% (ish) is quite a task. This year held a lot of surprises for me. I had some of my most anticipated make this list but also had some new to me authors and so of my old favorites make a comeback into the list. I had such a hard time getting it down, so I fudged a little, including some entire series (all released this year) because I just couldn’t pick which one to choose.

I hope you’ll give some of the authors on my list a try, especially ones you may not have heard of because each one of these authors is a shining star! I can’t wait to see what 2020 brings to my kindle and my never-ending TBR!

Vow of Sacrifice was book 5 in the series but each can be read as a standalone. This entire series is AMAZING!

We finally get mysterious Callen’s story and it did not disappoint. I loved seeing the softer side of Callen and Iris brought out all the softness and sexiness of Callen.

This book gives you a wide range of emotions, as Iris is running from an abusive relationship, while Callen is trying to live his life the best he can away from the mafia. From the first time we meet Callen in James’ book, you know that there is a depth and such a story behind his stormy eyes. How he’s raising his little sister and now as he takes in Iris to be her protector.

Emma does a great job of balancing the suspense with the romance. Once you start one of her books, you don’t want to put it down. As always, each book can be read as a standalone but I would highly recommend Emma’s Vow Series. It’s seriously one of my top suspense romance series!

Boyfriend Bargain starts as the typical fake boyfriend story – but as you dive in, it becomes so much more than the need to pull the wool over someone else’s eyes. From the start, Sugar and Z are burning hot together. And with each page turn, you become more and more invested in these two into becoming more. Both have pasts that are full of demons and heartache which makes them all the more better to become a team together.

Zane is smoking HOT. And thank you, Ilsa, for this cover because he definitely makes the perfect Z

Such a cute story about best friends who decide to add some benefits to their lives and it ends up being a lot more than either of them expected!

First off, I have to say that I want Amy to never stop writing in the Harris world. I feel like she could go on forever with this klan and I would be plum happy to aways have storylines coming from the other side of the pond with their sexy footballers.

Freya and Mac may seem like an odd couple but the two have been the best of friends for the past year. But after an innocent game of Never Have I Ever at a party – Mac comes to find out that Freya has little experience with the opposite sex. So he decides that maybe he can give her some pointers on how to date. What he never expected was that his own feeling for the quirky yet cute redhead would come bubbling to the surface and he would come to find his jealous side when it comes to all things Freya.

This was such a fun, laugh out loud, cute yet super sexy read. I loved Mac and Freya together!

WOW!!! This book was Amazing!! I don’t even know where to begin with this book. Tina is a new to me author and I was so taken by this book, I read it all in one sitting.

There really isn’t much I can tell you about the book without giving away major plot points. But it was a page-turner. It will keep you on edge and surprises arise throughout the book.

A second chance romance with a twist!

Such a great read and I look forward to reading more from Tina!

To tell her or not to tell her…

Trini has spent the better part of the last hour, weighing the pros and cons in her head and still doesn’t have a clear answer.

But maybe there just isn’t one…

Both choices come with consequences. Some more life-threatening than others, but still, consequences nonetheless.

What if she says nothing and something happens… something that she could’ve prevented?

What if she tells the others about Tommy and his freakin’ mysterious, power-draining green coin? Would they hate her for not saying something sooner?

What if Tommy stays true to his word and goes after Kimberly? She won’t be able to fight back… None of them will.

Trini draws her knees up closer into her chest, as she stares out Kimberly’s bedroom window. Warm amber rays of light are just beginning to crest above the treetops in the distance. It’s early… too early to be up. But sleep is just not an option for Trini at the moment.

Trini would kill to be just a few years olds. 21 maybe? Hell, even 18 would be better. Then up and running away with Kimberly would seem like a more feasible third option.

Not that she could ever convince Kimberly to do that… Nor could she even actually go through with it herself. Trini could never up and leave Jason, Zack, and Billy like that. They’re her family.

“Deep in thought?” Kimberly’s sleepy voice cuts through the silence of the bedroom.

Trini snaps out of her of thoughts and glances back at Kimberly, who’s starting to stir awake in the bed.

“Nah, just couldn’t sleep.”

“You know your left eye twitches when you lie?”

“Does not.”

Kimberly gives a playful shrug as a yawn escapes her lips. “Fine, don’t believe me.”

Trini uncurls herself from Kimberly’s window bench and makes her way towards the bed. She slips beneath the covers and back into Kimberly’s warm embrace.

Never in a million years would Trini have pegged herself to be such a little spoon.

Never, of course, until Kimberly.

There’s just something about Kimberly’s embrace. It’s as if nothing can harm her wrapped within those arms. That she’s -- maybe for the first time ever -- truly and utterly safe.

Trini snuggles a bit closer, allowing for Kimberly to wrap her arms even tighter around her waist.

“What time is it?” Kimberly mumbles as she plants a loving kiss on the top of Trini’s head.

“Early.”

“Like early enough to go back to sleep?”

“Yeah.”

“Good.” Kimberly nuzzles her face deep within the confines of Trini’s hair. “Cause I need it. Especially after last night.”

Trini can’t help but smile a bit at this comment.

She had had sex… Sex with Kimberly Hart. And it was nothing short of amazing.

“A little worn out, huh?” Trini replies with a little hint of cockiness.

“Hmmm… just a little bit,” Kimberly hums as she nips at Trini’s neck. “But it doesn’t get you off the hook.”

“For what?”

“Our date. You still owe me one.”

Trini lets out a sigh and rolls over to face Kimberly. As she does, a dull pain shoots across her ribs, causing her to suck in a sharp breath of air.

“T, you shouldn’t be--”

“For the hundredth time, I’m okay. I swear.” Trini cuts Kimberly off, forcing a smile across her face as she carefully repositions her body to relieve some of the pressure on her rib cage. “You worry too much, Princess.”

“I’m allowed to worry. My girlfriend literally had the crap beaten out of her last night.”

Trini’s eyes instantly grow wide at these words.

Did Kimberly Hart just refer to her as “her girlfriend”???

She has to be dreaming, right?

Sure, they are sorta dating and yeah, they had had sex. But that doesn’t automatically mean--

“Is that okay? I didn’t mean to assumes, but--”

“Yeah. It’s more than okay.” Trini can’t contain her smile, nor wants to. She leans up and seizes Kimberly’s lips in a passionate kiss, pouring all of her emotions into it.

After what seems like a lifetime, Kimberly pulls out of the kiss and matches Trini’s smile with a playful smirk of her own. “Would’ve never pegged you to be such a mushball.”

“Am not.”

“Oh, you so totally are. And it’s adorable.”

“Whatever, Princess,” Trini grumbles in response with a little bit of a pout. “Tell anyone, and I’ll kill you.”

Kimberly simply chuckles and then, every so gently, helps Trini roll back over, wrapping her arms back around her in the process. She pulls Trini in, until almost every inch of their bodies are touching. “Sleep, yes?”

“Yeah,” Trini exhales with a breath of air, as she lets her body completely relax into Kimberly.

Trini knows that she still has a lot to figure out, but for the moment, she doesn’t want to think about it. All she wants is to just exist, there within Kimberly’s… No. Scratch that. Her girlfriend’s arms.

“Anyone ever told you, you look good in pink?” Kimberly whispers to Trini, as she tucks a loose strand of Trini’s hair behind her ear.

“You made me wear this, just so you could say that.” Trini replies back as a maddening blush spreads like rapid fire across her cheeks. She fidgets with the front pocket of pale pink, oversized hoodie, while nervously glancing around at the other Krispy Kreme patrons in line.

“Maybe,” Kimberly hums with coy smirk. “Or maybe I just like seeing you in my clothes.”

Kimberly plants a light, but meaningful kiss on Trini’s lips.

Sure, Trini’s more than used to Kimberly’s non-stop, outwardly displays of affection. Hell, she’s been the main target of them for the past few months now.

But now… now it’s different.

Now, they’re together.

And now, what once could be easily played off as a simple friendly hug between best friends, isn’t so easy to explain.

Trini doesn’t want to hide. That’s the last thing in the world she wants to do.

But, being out in such a public space, where anyone could see them--

“The usual?”

“Huh?” Trini focuses her attention back on Kimberly and suddenly realizes that they’re now at the front of the line.

“Donuts. You want the usual? Or are you feeling adventurous?”

“Surprise me, Princess.”

Kimberly laughs at this response as she turns her attention back to the boy behind the counter. “Famous last words.”

“Yeah, whatever. Just no jelly ones.” Trini attempts to act aloof, but it’s of little use. She can’t seem to hold onto a single ounce of her cool exterior when she’s around that girl.

Freakin’ kryptonite.

That’s the only explanation for it. Kimberly is her kryptonite and she’s just a helpless, babbling idiot, who’s head over heels in--

“Wow Hart. I heard you were slummin’ it, but seriously?”

Trini instantly tenses up at the sound of Amanda’s voice and decouples herself from Kimberly.

Fuuuck.

Not here… not now.

“Seriously what?” Kimberly finishes paying and then whips around to come face to face with Amanda.

Amanda lowers her sunglasses and casually motions over toward Trini. “Her.”

“Her name is Trini.”

Trini starts to shift uncomfortably from foot to foot as a general sense of uncertainty washes over her.

The last twenty four hours have been nothing short of physically -- and emotionally -- draining. First, her mother. Then Tommy. And now, of course, this.

It’s like some major ass cosmic joke. Anything that’s remotely good in her life always has to come with some sorta catch. Some sorta downside.

For example, this very moment. Right here, in the freakin’ Krispy Kreme, of all places.

All Trini is trying to do is grab a quick breakfast with her girlfriend -- god, she loves that word -- before heading out to detention. Nothing more than that.

And yet, she can't even get this simple moment without some sorta drama.

“God. Ty was so right.” Amanda lets out a light but sadistic laugh as her eyes bounce from Trini to Kimberly, and then back to Trini again. “You’re a major dyke.”

“Excuse me?” Kimberly takes a slight step backwards, almost as if the word themselves have physically hit her. A brief flash of pain crosses her face, but is quickly replaced by a mask of pure anger.

Shit… Shit… Shit…

Trini reaches out and wraps her hand around Kimberly’s forearm, giving it a light tug. It’s taking every ounce of her own self control not to lunge at Amanda herself. “C’mon. Let’s just--”

“Go on. Listen to your pet freak, Hart.”

Kimberly doesn’t respond. She simply twists her arm out of Trini’s grasp and straightens herself up, coming within mere inches of Amanda’s face.

Fuck.

Trini braces for the worst. And by worst, she means Kimberly up and reacting to Amanda’s comments.

Not with violence, but with flat out denial.

Although everything about Kimberly is practically screaming that she won’t do it, there’s small part of Trini that, nonetheless, still fears it will happen.

That Kimberly will up and deny it all. That, she’ll fall back into her mean girl tendencies, brushing aside all that has transpired between the two of them over the past few weeks.

That all her words -- spoken and unspoken -- are meaningless.

That Kimberly Hart doesn’t actually lo--

Trini feels Kimberly’s hand slip into her own, firmly entwining their fingers together. This isn’t merely by accident.

This is a statement.

“First off, I’m bisexual. Get it right. And secondly, if you make one more derogatory remark about my girlfriend, I promise to make your life a living hell.”

And with that, Kimberly turns on her heels, not even giving Amanda a chance to reply, and leads Trini by the hand, right out of the Krispy Kreme.

Trini slides into the passenger's seat of the car, shuts the door, and then looks over at Kimberly, who’s practically motionless, just staring out the windshield. “Kim?”

“That just happened, didn’t it?” Kimberly exhales with a slight quiver to her voice as her confidence starts to crack.

“Yeah. And I’ve gotta say, it was kinda hot.”

Kimberly lets out laugh in sheer disbelief. “Really?”

Trini flashes Kimberly a playful smirk. “Just a little bit.”

“If she ever--”

“She’s won’t. Okay? Besides, I’ve put up with worse shit,” Trini cuts Kimberly off. She reaches over and takes hold of Kimberly’s hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. “I’m all right.”

Kimberly smiles and returns the squeeze as a confirmation of Trini’s last words.

“Good. Now pedal to the metal, Princess. My ass can’t afford to get any more extra Saturday detentions.”

Torture.

That’s the only word that best describes the last few hours.

Not because of detention itself. Trini can do a Saturday detention in her sleep… literally.

No. It’s because of the three -- or technically four including Kimberly -- sets of eyes that have been fixated on her, since the very moment she walked into the room. Eyes that all beg to ask the same question.

What hell happened?

And truthfully, Trini doesn’t know what she’s going to tell them. She can’t tell them the truth. That’s for certain.

But she doesn’t want to lie to them either. Hell, they’re her family… or at least the closest thing to real family that she’s got.

So she opts for the easiest -- and most familiar -- route possible. Avoidance.

No passing notes. No eye contact. And definitely no sticking around post detention.

No. Trini high tailed it out of there as soon as the clock stuck 3pm and headed straight for the cliffs with the intentions of getting into the pit and start training before any of the other rangers could even manage to reach the ship.

But life, as Trini has come to learn, never goes according to plan… especially when there’s a huge, bodiless head and pesky robot involved.

“Master Trini! Master Trini!” Alpha 5 scurries towards Trini as she makes her way into the ship. “The biometric scans are showing that you have two cracked ribs and a bruised spleen. Are you alright?”

Trini lets out a frustrated sigh and attempts to sidestep around Alpha 5. “I’m fine.”

“But the scans--”

“I said I’m fine,” Trini cuts Alpha 5 off with an underlying bit of aggression to her words. She marches straight towards the entrance of the pit and just when she’s about to get ready to lower herself into it--

“Not so fast, Crazy Girl.”

Shit.

So much for avoidance.

Trini freezes in her tracks but can’t seem to bring herself to turn around. “What Zack?”

“C’mon. Don’t what me.”

“Fine.” Trini slowly turns to face Zack and is instantly hit with a wave of gut-wrenching guilt. There’s a look of pure, undiluted concern written across Zack’s face, and it’s not short of jarring.

“What the hell went down last night?”

“Long story.”

“But somethin’ happened, right? Cause all of our spidey-senses were completely outta whack.”

“Spidey-what?”

“He’s talking about our ranger connection.” Jason chimes in as he appears in the entrance way of the ship. “We all felt it from a mile away last night. Except we didn’t know at first it was you.”

Trini starts to fidget with the edges of her shirt as she feels their eyes upon her. Eyes that want answers… answers she simply can’t give.

“It was nothin’.”

“Nothing? Dude, it felt like you were being ripped limb from limb with a rusty chainsaw,” Zack retorts in disbelief.

“Trini, you know you can trust--”

“I know,” Trini cuts Jason off before he can manage to finish his thought.

“Guys. Back off. She’ll tell us when she’s ready to tell us.” Kimberly emerges from the entrance pool with Billy right on her heels. “All that matters is she’s safe.”

An immediate and uncontrollable blush spreads across Trini’s cheeks as she exchanges a small smile with Kimberly.

“Master Trini! Your heart rate just spiked to abnormally high levels. Are you sure, you’re okay?” Alpha 5 squeals in a frantic state.

Zack can’t help but let out a snicker at this comment. “Yeah, Crazy Girl. Wonder what’s causin’ that? Could it be the same thing that caused that sudden burst of euphoria at 3am this morning?”

“Oh god…” Trini mutters as the realization -- and complete and utter embarrassment -- sinks in. “You felt that too?”

“You kiddin’ me? I woke up from a dead sleep with like the biggest bon--”

“Finish that sentence, Taylor and it’ll be your last,” Trini mutters under her breath, locking eyes with Zack.

“Please don’t tell me you two…” Kimberly trails off, unable to bring herself to finish that sentence.

Jason and Billy share a sheepish look of guilt that says it all. They more than felt it.

“Sorta?” Jason replies as he rubs the back of his neck. “But we were already up.”

“And didn’t get an erection like Zack,” Billy gleefully chimes in.

A collective groan circles the group as they all avoid eye contact with each other. This is bordering on too much information… Even for them.

After a moment or two of awkward silence, Jason claps his hands together and forces a smile. “Alright. Let’s get going, shall we?”

“Aye Aye, Captain,” Zack replies and then jumps into the pit.

Jason starts to follow suit, but Billy hesitates.

“Billy?” Jason questions with an underlying tone of concern to his voice.

“Right. Yes. I… I was hoping to help Zordon and Alpha 5 run some diagnostic scans instead of training today. Alpha 5 mentioned that the ship’s protection shields have been sporadically failing over the past few days and I--”

“It’s okay. Go.” Jason reassures Billy with a warm smile and then follows Zack into the pit.

“You coming?” Kimberly asks Trini as she makes her way over towards the opening of the pit.

“Yeah. I’ll be there in a minute.”

Kimberly gives Trini a nod and then disappears into the pit as well.

Trini waits a moment, ensuring that Kimberly’s completely out of sight and then races to catch up with Billy.

“Hey Billy. Wait.”

Billy stops in his tracks and turns around to greet Trini. “Yes?”

“Can I ask you something?”

“Of course. You can ask me anything… Well, not anything, anything. But most things. Except things like my social security number or my --”

“Not gonna ask you that. Promise.”

“Then ask away,” Billy replies with his signature grin.

“What could happen if those protection shields fail? Could someone get in here? Like if they figured out the location of ship.”

Billy takes a moment, thinking through his answer, and then--

“Most likely no. There’s still the secondary protection in place that would keep them from accessing the interior of the ship itself.”

“A backup?”

“Yup.”

Trini breathes a slight sigh of relief upon hearing these words. “Cool. Good to know. Thanks Billy.”

“No problem. The only real way someone can get into the ship is with a power coin,” Billy innocently replies and then takes off towards the morphing grid.

Trini just stands there as Billy’s last comment lingers with her. A singular and powerful thought runs through her head--

They are absolutely fucked.

I put in layers like her magical outfit and took a little inspiration from early concepts and the King and Queen; Nat went with a more casual princely look; the armor was uncomfortable lol; but they’re so happy; Princess Belinda Ellira Montoya born 3 years later; they have a second child (Prince Cameron), not long before Tales of Ephedia begins

Talisto - married young, around 20/21, no kids when married; for Talia I wanted a dress that was form-fitting and soft; small bits of armor with and elfish influence. In Ydinoran tradition, the bride designs the groom’s cape while the groom designs the bride’s cape. There’s no veil. The necklace Talia wears in Tales of Ephedia was given to her on this day before the ceremony; Princess Anastasia and Prince Damien born 2 years later

Matriana - married around 21/21; Auriana and Matt bot have garments heavily inspired by the middle east; had a lot of fun with this one; Auriana was pregnant with Prince Oliver at the time; they have 8 kids total with 5 sons and 3 daughters; Matt’s an only child so he really likes having a big family in Volta

Carok - Carissa and Rorak grew up together, as his mother was part of Queen Annabeth’s all-female round table. Rorak is the quiet type; doesn’t speak much, calm exterior, and powerful presence; would probably bring home 20 dogs and love them all deeply; drinking buddy to Iris and Auriana when they all go to Calix; battle ready, giggly drunk, and adoring husband. Just don’t piss off his lady. She’s his powerful little goddess and he’ll crush your skull for her. Also won her heart after chugging a full barrel of mead in one minute and only getting a little tipsy. Married around 22/24 years old; had 1 son prior to marriage by 1 years (has 3 boys total - will be introduced in Tales of Ephedia); for her gown i went a bit for the roman/greek hybrid with fur accents and armor

Levyna - married around 22/23 years old; their daughter, Princess Dahlia, was born a year earlier; she has a younger brother and baby sister (Prince Helios and Princess Jasmine); Lyna was super ready to marry while Lev was really insecure about it but he loves Lyna and Dahlia so despite his distaste for her family, he said yes :P he’s still a little turd tho; took inspiration from Chinese, Vietnamese, and Japanese traditonal garments; no veil; very modern, as each princess has a custom made dress; they don’t recycle wedding gowns in Borealis because it goes on display later

Lastly, Zaxina; no children when married or currently; didn’t marry for a while; Zack was pursuing music while Praxina helped back home on Ephedia; her ability to open portals helped and sometimes she’d leave to go on tour with him. Married around 26/25 (yes, Zack’s younger), when Anastasia and Damien were 3 years old. Working with his parents was hell. His mom threw a fit beacause she wanted to wear a non-white dress. Praxina is wearing her mother’s favorite ballgown. Originally, her mother promised to give it to her for her first ball, but because of Ophelia’s death and Prax’s role in the war, it never happened. It wasn’t until the move to Ydinora’s Castle that Meph found it in Zaterra and sent it to Auriana to have fixed. After hearing it was her mother’s Mrs. Brady let up. Zack, however, did end up in white. The crown was her grandmother’s on her father’s side, refurbished for Praxina.

DWTS24 Cast Announcement and why Simone Biles won’t win.

Do you feel it? The anticipation, the desire, the lust for shirtless foreign men mixed with the scent of sweat dripping on hardwood?

YOU’RE GODDAMN RIGHT YOU DO. BECAUSE IT’S TIME FOR ANOTHER SEASON OF OUR FAVORITE SHOW WE LOVE TO RIP APART SINCE THIS IS OUR VERSION OF THE GODDAMN NFL.

IT’S TIME FOR MY RECAP OF THE DWTS SEASON 24 CAST ANNOUNCEMENT. BASK IN MY DISPLAY OF EXCITEMENT VIA CAPS LOCK. HERE WE GO, KIDS.

The Guys

BONNOR BOLTON with pro partner SHARNA BURGESS:

To start us off, like a large portion of the cast this season, especially the males, I have no clue who this person is. Apparently he’s a bull rider and model? Because those two things are commonly associated with each other… Anyway, he looks 12 but apparently is almost thirty. Now, if you remember back to season 8, rodeo cowboy Ty Murray (ex-hubbie of singer Jewel, though they were still married at the time) managed to get to fourth place with Chelsie Hightower. Now I won’t take anything away from Ty, but the competition wasn’t incredibly stiff that year outside of the top 3. That being said, it is possible this Bonnor guy (raise your hand if you’ve ever heard that name before. Me either) could turn out to be the next James Hinchcliffe and shock us all (shoutout to James. We love and adore and miss the hell out of you and Shar. #GetMarried). But I doubt it. My expectations are low. Moving on.

RASHAD JENNINGS with pro partner EMMA SLATER:

Please welcome the latest inductee into the Pro Athletes I’ve Never Heard Of Because They Are In Fact Athletes Club! His bio says he’s a running back in the NFL. Wasn’t Tim Riggins a running back on Friday Night Lights? GO RIGGINS! (Shoutout to everyone in Dillon, Texas. #TexasForever) …That’s it for my football knowledge. But congrats to Emma for getting a partner that isn’t old enough to be her grandfather and is actually in good physical shape. He won’t win, but he sure as hell won’t be as bad as her usual partners. Yahoo!

CHRIS KATTAN with pro partner WITNEY CARSON:

I’m never upset to see Witters. I missed her on the tour. This guy’s turn on SNL was before my time, so I’m 0/3 thus far. I’m gonna make a guess based on physique and just first glance (because I wouldn’t be the Lo you all love if I wasn’t a judgmental asshole) and say he’s gonna suck and be out early. Sorry Wit. Enjoy your time with the troupe.

DAVID ROSS with pro partner LINDSAY ARNOLD:

Again, I’m always happy to see Lindsay. We’re up to 0/5 for my recognition of the males of season 24, and we have our second inductee into the season 24 IDK Athletes Club. My knowledge of baseball is limited to the new FOX show Pitch (watch it. Fall in love with it. Obsess with me and my friendys in the #bawson tag. And yes, that is Mark Paul Gosselaar from Saved By The Bell. Zack Morris is a sexy motherfucker with that beard. #ShamelessPlug) but he seems like a nice guy. Horray for the MLB finally getting someone on the show. Or really, I’m sorry to the MLB for finally getting someone on the show. Moving forward.

MR. T with pro partner KYM HERJAVEC:

I KNOW THIS ONE! YOU GUYS, I KNOW WHO THIS ONE IS. And Kym is using her married name! (BTW, sidenote, I’ve started watching SharkTank and now adore Robert. Just sharing #Sharkaroo) Anyway, I think we all know how this is going to turn out. Lord help us. And I’m already sick of hearing that catchphrase.

NICK VIALL with pro partner PETA MURGATROYD:

Sigh. Yes, I know this one too. First of all, let me say welcome back Peta. We’ve missed you and couldn’t be happier to see you back on our screens. However, I’d rather see her with damn near anyone else but this guy. Am I watching this season of the Bachelor? Hell no, and Nick is the reason why. I didn’t watch his seasons of The Bachelorette- I actually have only seen a handful of seasons, but I’m aware of what’s gone on. And I’m opposed to him being the Bachelor for two reasons: #1. It should’ve been Luke. And #2. He’s a dick. Go ahead and try to convince me otherwise. I’m waiting. He won’t be great, and hopefully he won’t be around long. Sorry Nick, yet again you’ll be sent home with only your hand to console you. BUH-BYE NOW.

The Girls

SIMONE BILES with pro partner SASHA FARBER:

Another sigh. Am I excited she’s on the cast? Yes. Will she do well? Pointless to even answer. Am I excited to see the routines she does and how epic her partnership with Sasha will be? Of course. But I’m 95% sure she won’t win and here’s why: it’s also why I’m upset she’s on this season: they can’t and won’t have two identical winners directly next to each other. Simone isn’t even just a gymnast like Laurie, she was literally on the same team and is damn near a carbon copy. Is that a bad thing in life? Hell no. She’s tiny, adorable, and too precious for planet Earth. Make no mistake, I’m in love with the girl. But Simone winning would be almost an exact repeat of last season, which I do not think TPTB (sorry, I mean “the public voters” O.O) will allow. This is why when directly after the Olympics Simone said she couldn’t do the fall season of the show because of other commitments but would love to do the spring season, I was concerned when they announced Laurie. It’s like when Riker Lynch competed and his sister Rydel (shoutout to R5 for being fucking rockstars. Also, #TeamRallison you are missed) said she’s wanted to do the show for a long time, I said even if her schedule worked out it would have to be several seasons before she competed because having siblings back to back is too similar. So really it’s unfair to Simone and unfair to Sasha as well that she’s competing this season, because it’s an almost guarantee she won’t win despite the fact that we know she’ll be one of the best on the floor. Will she make it to the finale? Of course. But I sincerely doubt she has a real shot at getting the mirrorball.

CHARO with pro partner KEO MOTSEPE:

Okay. I get it. With a lot of the male vets being gone, it makes sense that Keo would get another shot as a pro. Plus, in this scenario whether or not he’s a great teacher doesn’t really matter. Do I know who this woman is? Yes. And…I don’t think I need or want to say much more. Godspeed.

ERIKA JAYNE with pro partner GLEB SAVCHENKO:

The Housewives is actually one of the few reality shows I don’t watch, primarily because I simply don’t have the time. So I have no clue who this woman is. I have a feeling she’ll be similar to Kim Zolciak, who I also did not know during her run in season 21 but quickly fell in love with and still follow on social media to this day. So who knows? I’m open to it and wish her well.

NANCY KERRIGAN with pro partner ARTEM CHIGVINTSEV:

Nope. Don’t know her either. But I remember when poor Dorothy Hamill, another former Olympic skater, back in season 16 was tragically forced to drop out of the competition in week 2 due to injury. Dorothy’s first performance was epic though, and she and Nancy seem somewhat similar in build, so… perhaps this could work well. If nothing else, we know the Olympians know how to train. Again, I wish her luck. Let’s see how this goes.

NORMANI KORDEI with pro partner VAL CHMERKOVSKIY:

I will be honest: of all the members of Fifth Harmony, Normani is not my favorite. She’s actually 4/5 for me, and yes, I still count Camilla. But I’m open to new things. She seems cool. And just because she isn’t my favorite member of Fifth Harmony doesn’t mean I don’t like her, she’s just not my fave. I’m excited to get to know and love her. I think she’ll be great. I look forward to seeing her partnership with Val. I’m good with this.

HEATHER MORRIS with pro partner MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY:

OH MY HELL KIDS, HERE WE GODDAMN GO. “Did you know that dolphins are just gay sharks?” “Whenever I pray, I fall asleep.” “Mr. Schue, is he your son?” “When I pulled my hamstring I went to a misogynist.” “It’s a male duck.” “I’m pretty sure my cat’s been reading my diary.” “She’s the one they made me talk to when they found out I was keeping that bird in my locker.” IT’S BRITTANY MOTHERFUCKING S. PIERCE. Yes she toured as a dancer with Beyoncѐ. Yes she knows how to not just dance, but slay. Is it fair? Probably not. Do I care? Find my fucks, I dare you. This is my girl, this is my pick, this is it. The end. I’m sorry Simone, honestly I am and I wish to hell you weren’t in such a shitty position, but this is my One. Mic drop. I’m done.

The Troupe and Missing Pros

Again, sorry to see Mark absent, but he’s moved on and seems happy so good for him. I’ll miss Allison like hell and wish both her and Jenna well in whatever they’re doing next and hope to see them return at some point. Meanwhile, I’m popping bottles and toasting because #MANTISLESS24. Make it trend! Watch me work! PS- welcome to the newbies in the troupe. Mama’s spikin’ her Dr. Pepper tonight. YES INDEED!

Predictions

EARLY EXIT/THANKS BUT NO THANKS: Charo, Chris, Mr. T, and possibly Bonnor (he could go middle and surprise us).

MIDDLE OF THE ROAD/AT LEAST YOU TRIED: Nick, possibly David, Nancy, Rashad, possibly Erika (she could go lower. We’ll see if she’s more Nene or Kim).

GOING ALL THE WAY/LOVE ON TOP OF THE LEADERBOARD: Normani, Simone, Heather. Final 3, I’m calling it now. Unless they end up shocking us and letting Simone have it, I’m gonna predict Heather takes the mirrorball, Simone gets second, and Normani lands bronze. I know Amber Riley won back in season 17 and Heather winning would be the second Glee star to win, but I don’t think that matters as much as two Olympians from the same team winning back to back. That’s my prediction as of now.

I’ll be on vacation in DISNEY WORLD (yessir, let’s go Mickey) for the premiere but I will of course check out the routines online that night. I’m coming home Tuesday so within the next day or so I’ll watch the whole show and either write up something for this blog or toss out some tweets. Keep an eye out.

And that’s it! Season 24, it’s on. I thought for quite a while over the break that last season was season 24, so there you go. Big shock, I have no idea what’s going on. What else is new?
