Safe Object Storage, colloquially known as SOS, was a section that existed in every containment building, whether Heavy or Light. Inside were kept designated Safe SCPs, though their level of danger determined in which section they were kept.
You didn’t understand 079’s directions or 682’s confidence until you read the designation of one of the glass cases.
“I estimate that this object will be the most useful,” 079 pronounced as you set him on a nearby table. Your arms were starting to ache now that 682 had grown to the size of a kitten. He reminded you of one too, jumping onto the case only for you to dislodge him by lifting it.
The jade ring lay inside, polished and gleaming in its velvet ring holder. Yes, it certainly would help, but you placed it into the pocket of your lab coat for now. You’d only used it once, and from what you remembered, the effects had been… intense. You’d rather keep it tucked away until you absolutely needed it.
You also grabbed SCP-178, the pair of stereoscopic glasses that to the average person allowed them to see instances of 178. During testing, you’d discovered you did the opposite—make the entities manifest in reality. It could prove useful, though you had no idea if you could control the creatures in any meaningful way.
Other SCPs were looked over and passed, either because you were unsure of your effect on them, or they simply wouldn’t be helpful. The last one you examined, you left where it was, not even bothering to lift the glass.
“Don’t get soft now,” 682 growled from where he was perched on your shoulder like the world’s most belligerent bird. “You need to use all the weapons in your arsenal.”
The Soviet GP-5 mask seemed to stare up at you, its dark, circular eye guards like a pair of empty sockets. As soon as you’d been forced to wear it during testing, you’d known what it truly was. The official SCP-1499 document stated it could “transport” its wearer to a bleak, alien landscape filled with violent beings of unknown origin.
In actuality, it teleported the wearer to somewhere in Russia, making them believe the buildings they saw were of alien design, and the people they saw were hideous monsters. You’d known this, just as you’d known a previous wearer—most likely a Foundation agent—had decided to attack these “creatures,” not knowing the truth of what they were doing.
What you had done to the mask was worse. As soon as you’d donned it, you hadn’t gone anywhere; you’d forced five of those “monsters” to appear in the testing chamber with you. The security personnel had fired on them until they no longer moved.
No one had confirmed it to you afterward, but you knew you were responsible for the sudden and unexplainable disappearance of five people in Moscow.
“No,” you said, placing the glasses in your other pocket. “This will have to be enough.”
“And if it’s not?” asked the reptile.
You didn’t answer.
The Site Director had an office in each containment structure, as well as in the administration building. If he’d retreated to the admin section, you would have been out of luck due to the retracted skybridges, but apparently, he hadn’t made it out of Heavy Containment before then. And those bridges wouldn’t span the gap, not even for a Site Director. Only an all-clear signal or an override from the O5 Council would open the isolated sections of Site-20.
After briefly plugging him into a nearby security console, 079 showed you the interior view of Leahy’s office. The angle was from somewhere in the corner, a security camera, and there was satisfaction in observing the Site Director trapped in a cell of his own. It had been turned into a makeshift hold, the sofa, table, and desk turned on their sides to provide cover from whatever tried the door, which was the only way in or out of the room.
You didn’t know who exactly he expected to show up. Leahy had no shortage of enemies, and now three of them were outside his door.
079 had warned you the guards were heavily armed, but he’d failed to mention they were MTF. At least you knew where 682’s guards had gone. They were covered head to toe in armor, Kevlar, and visors, and were trained to face the deadliest anomalies the Foundation had.
682 didn’t ask if you had a plan. You only had the one, and you slipped it over your finger, the jade band shrinking snug against your skin. The familiar rush of startling, brilliant awareness washed over your body, alighting neurons and nerves, filling your mind with thoughts faster than you could process them.
You set the laptop on the floor a few feet from the entrance, far enough away so the two SCPs wouldn’t become collateral damage.
“Open the door.”
079 wasn’t plugged into the network, but his fragment would hear you. You unholstered the pistol, checked the clip and chamber, and noted it would be overkill. You only needed three bullets.
The door slid open. As predicted, one of the MTF immediately pulled the pin from a smoke grenade and launched it toward the breach.
You stuck your arm around the doorway and fired. The bullet shredded the steel canister, causing a midair explosion of smoke and chemical residue. To their credit, the MTF didn’t panic as the office filled with smoke, blinding them. They were still in control, confident their training and armor would protect them.
You stepped into the room and fired twice into the floor. The first bullet ricocheted off the tile, bounced upwards, and caught a soldier in his chin guard, knocking his head back. The second entered his brain through the bottom of his jaw.
Before he could fall, you caught him by the straps of his vest and held him up, the bullets fired on you caught in the mesh of his armor.
The dead MTF still held his P90 TR in one hand, the stiff glove holding his finger against the trigger. You bent his arm back over his shoulder and squeezed the inside of his bicep, digging into the median nerve. His hand twitched, dying muscles rallying one last time, and the gun sent a spray of bullets across the room.
Now the MTF did start to panic, not expecting one of their own to fire on them, the smoke blinding them from realizing he was already dead. You didn’t aim for hitting them directly, instead herding them toward the side of the room away from the Site Director cowering behind his overturned desk. You only had seconds before their training overtook basic human instinct.
You released the arm and unhooked an ET-MP grenade from the dead man’s belt. Already the soldiers were coming to their senses, aware they’d left Leahy exposed, unable to shoot through the smoke for risk of killing him.
That split-second hesitation was the last piece falling into place. Shoving the armored corpse sideways, it hit Leahy hard, forcing him to the ground and covering him. You tossed the grenade and aimed into the smoke.
It bounced once, and on its returning arc upward, you squeezed the trigger.
“GRENA—”
The explosion bloomed at hip height, briefly revealing the three soldiers in the smokey haze before sending a shock wave across the room. It slammed you back against the wall, cracking the concrete surface from the force of your body. Without the ring, you would have been little more than a broken doll thrown by an angry toddler.
As it were, your brain ached like it had been rattled in your head, your ears filled with a high-pitched whine. Your right ear couldn’t hear anything beyond that. You coughed, the smoke in your lungs reaching a level of irritation you couldn’t ignore. The vents in the ceiling whirred to life, 079 clearing the air for you now that the smokescreen was no longer needed.
You staggered to your feet and ignored the distant pains of your body. If you were lucid and moving, you were fine. Grabbing the dead soldier by his vest, you hauled him off Leahy, finding the man was still alive, shaken but in better shape than you were. You didn’t know what you looked like, not having seen your reflection clearly since before the breach, but by his pale, sweaty expression, it wasn’t comforting.
His eyes shifted past you, and it was the only warning. You turned. There wasn’t much left of the soldier from the waist down, but that didn’t stop him from aiming his pistol at your chest.
The calculations were clear—you couldn’t raise your own pistol before he could squeeze the trigger. The muzzle flashed, the explosion of gunpowder worsening the whine in your right ear, but no bullet pierced your chest cavity to puncture your lungs.
A greenish grey blur flashed in front of you, taking the bullet in the side before hitting the tile. Instead of tearing through him, the slug was absorbed into 682’s flesh, and his size increased to that of a large cat.
The MTF had time to draw in a breath to scream before the entity descended on him, ripping out his throat in a spray of crimson that painted the nearby wall. A trail of gurgles left him before there was silence.
You left 682 to enjoy his well-earned meal, checking the rest of the bodies, or what was left of them, finding no other survivors. Your heart beat at a steady, strong rhythm, one that hadn’t changed from beginning to end.
“Are you armed?” you asked as if speaking to the room at large, though he knew the question was for him. Leahy had at least one weapon, judging by the shape of his coat, but you were curious if he would choose honesty.
“Yes.”
He understood there was no purpose in lying or fighting. Good.
“Toss them.”
Now you did turn, watching as he pulled a pistol and stun gun from within his lab coat, sliding them across the floor. It was the same stun gun he’d used on you when you first wore 714. Rage erupted along your nerves, dimming just as quickly. His suffering was assured, but now was not the moment.
You kicked away the weapons, not bothering to pick them up, your own pistol still held in one hand. You stared down at him. He seemed so… small from how you remembered. Or maybe you had stretched beyond your limits. With each passing minute, you felt less and less like yourself. Cold liquid seeped in your veins, as if the heat of your hatred had been inverted into endothermic apathy.
“Christ, Reid,” he uttered in a quiet breath.
682, who had grown to the size of a dog after eating what was left of the MTF, lunged at Leahy, trapping him further against the wall.
“Shit!”
“You do remember,” the reptile mused. He was large enough to start regaining his crocodilian shape, his green mane hanging over his eyes as he bared pointed teeth through a long snout. “I feared you had forgotten me, Site Director. Your shameful little secret, though I am growing by the minute. Perhaps I shall add your flesh to mine. You do not appear to be using it for much.”
He opened wide his maw, prepared to swallow the man whole.
“Don’t. I need him.”
682 paused, one yellow eye appraising you through his shaggy mane. Whatever he saw made him growl and snap his muzzle shut. Leahy flinched from the sharp teeth closing in front of his nose, and 682 gave a low chuckle. He moved away, perhaps to feed on more bodies or to return to 079. You didn’t care which. Your entire focus was on the man watching you with the same expression one would wear around an injured wild animal.
You raised the pistol and aimed between his eyes.
“I’ll tell you where 049 is,” Leahy said with a quickness that bordered on earnest. “But… you’re not going to like it.”
“Talk.”
Your tone was as cold as the slush in your veins. He winced.
“It would be better if I show you.”
“Where?”
“One of the medical labs.”
You waited to feel something. A rush of panic, or heart-clenching fear at 079’s words being proven true.
You felt nothing.
“Move.”
Leahy blinked, but beyond that, he silently obeyed. You kept him in front, pistol in one hand and the open laptop in the other. 682 stayed a few steps ahead, scouting the way for any obstacles, human or SCP, but the way was clear up to the medical lab. It was obvious why. The closer you got to your destination, the number of black stains and rust-colored ooze marking the walls and floor increased.
You were somehow unsurprised when he led you to the same medical lab where you and 049 had cured the anomaly-afflicted patients. Those empty beds were shoved against the wall, their haphazard arrangement indicating chaos. One gurney stood out in the middle of the long room, this one different for two reasons. It held wrist and ankle restraints, and it was corroded by black ooze and rust, the same kind infesting the walls.
“106 attacked before we knew what was happening,” Leahy said without prompting. “Most of our people were taken. 049 included.”
All you could do was stare at the gurney, and some of your rage broke through the icy surface.
“What were you doing to him.”
“Do you really want to know?”
He barely got out the words before you rushed him, shoving him against the wall and holding the barrel of your shotgun against his neck.
“Okay! Okay! Jesus.”
You put some weight on that shotgun, impressing on him the importance of speaking the truth and speaking it quickly. He eyed you, his hesitancy a bad sign, as if death by your hands might be the preferable option.
“We… were going to extract semen samples. Sperm donations for the project. But it was proving difficult, there was an internal sheath that was impossible to penetrate, so I ordered him to be surgically opened. We never got the chance—”
You backed off and aimed the shotgun at his face.
“I should kill you,” you hissed, some of that radioactive fury leaking through the cold.
“You certainly could.”
He was pale, sweat dotting his skin, and he was clearly worried, but there was a distinct lack of terror that was disappointing. You’d been certain a man like Leahy was a coward at heart, but being faced with his own death, he seemed oddly detached.
“Not going to beg for your life?”
He released a breath that sounded almost amused.
“Would it help?”
“No.”
“Then there’s your answer.”
You ground your teeth together. Having the Site Director on his knees begging would be a satisfying sight, but it wouldn’t save 049. You had to focus. It was getting more difficult the longer you wore the ring, your thoughts floating like silk ribbons in the wind if you had nothing to focus on. Your head was also starting to hurt like a sonofabitch.
Your vision drifted away, drawn to one of the large, rusted stains on the wall where 106 had either entered or left this dimension. Focus snapping into a focal point, you shifted your gaze back to Leahy.
“I have a better use for you.” You tilted your head toward the stain. “Go in there.”
He scoffed, disbelief slanting his features.
“I’d rather you shoot me.”
You lifted away the shotgun, pulled out your pistol, and fired it into his thigh.
Leahy screamed and clutched his leg, nearly falling if not for the wall behind him and your fingers suddenly gripping the collar of his lab coat.
“A shame you’re too old for him,” you growled. “If you were twenty years younger, I’d break both femurs, just to be sure.”
There it was, the fear in his eyes, clouded by pain and an animal need to run and hide. But there had been a purpose for the bullet.
682 appeared next to you, his own interest showing, though you weren’t sure if he was drawn by the agonized panting coming from the Site Director, or the blood dripping down his leg.
“As much as I enjoy the screaming,” he lamented with a sigh, “I cannot accompany you in that realm.”
“That’s fine. I won’t be long.”
You released Leahy and watched for him to collapse. He didn’t, but he clearly wanted to as he pressed down on the wound that refused to clot.
“F-fuck, Reid, I’m going to bleed out.”
Releasing an impatient breath, you pushed against his shoulder so he was standing upright, and before he could comment on the rough treatment, you snatched at his belt buckle and unlatched it. His expression would have been funny at another time when your veins weren’t burning with an arctic freeze.
With a yank, the belt came out of its loops, and you wrapped it halfway up his thigh. The bullet had entered above his right knee, the swelling tissue and damaged bone effectively keeping him hobbled. You needed him limping but conscious, because where you were going, you wouldn’t have the boons granted by the ring. You didn’t know how 714 would affect you while in 106’s dimension, but this wasn’t the time to cross-test anomalies.
The tourniquet stemmed the bleeding to trickle before it stopped completely.
“You’ll live,” you answered his pinched, angry expression. “The bullet went where I wanted.”
He wasn’t impressed, and he wasn’t grateful, but you didn’t need him to be. You only needed him weak and easy to control.
Stepping back a safe distance, you slipped off the ring. The world shrank on itself, your focus returning to its normal clarity and limited width, and the warmth infusing your limbs was a relief. You shivered, closing your eyes to slow down the readjustment.
It wasn’t just the physical differences. The thick mental barrier fell, and several different realizations and memories crowded in, vying for your attention even as you tried to hold them at bay.
Smoke, gunshots, blood and explosions. Four lives snuffed out, violently and without care, without a thought, only obstacles in the way.
Valens, tortured and assaulted for a project that was equally as cruel.
The plan to go into 106’s realm. You could still see the steps, what the colder, more alien version of you wanted. It was insane. How you’d had such certainty a moment ago and now wanted to run the other way was jarring. It was like dreaming you could fly, only to wake on the edge of a building and assume the same rules still applied.
And then, shooting Leahy. You didn’t know which part of you had done that, the lines too blurred to distinguish.
Speaking of. He was staring when you opened your eyes, though he hadn’t moved, not when 682 was close by, waiting for the Site Director to be stupid. It was a shame he wasn’t. It seemed shooting him was the right move, cowing him just enough to make him manageable.
Your own nerves were much more rebellious. Nausea roiled your gun, stomach threatening to heave after what you’d done, at what had been done to 049. Lines were being smashed to pieces, and you imagined more would be trampled before it was over.
But 049 had no one else. No one with clean hands, a clear conscious, and who lacked a mountain of growing damage caused and received. All he had was you, and it would have to be enough.
You slung the shotgun over your back but kept out the pistol, grabbed Leahy by the arm, and pushed him toward the rusted spot. It seemed solid, but as soon as he put his palm against the surface, he sank through like a thick, viscous liquid.
You didn’t let go, knowing the connection between the two sides might not be a linear corridor, and entering one after another might not put you in the same location. The Site Director was almost all the way through, and for a moment you were afraid the portal would bar your way, your own abilities keeping you from entering an anomalous space.
But the viscous rust slid over your hand, coating it in a distant cold/heat sensation that you instinctively knew should hurt, but didn’t. You kept a grip on Leahy’s coat, closing your eyes as it swallowed up your arm and then over your head, forcing your body to follow.
You endured the eerie feeling of pushing through a solid wall into somewhere that shouldn’t exist—and burst out the other side to infinite darkness.

Favourite Fleet & Clara quotes from High Vaultage
(Page numbers from my Goldsboro special edition, I'm not sure how they line up with page numbers in other versions. Spoilers for all of High Vaultage.)
p27: Clara had met Fleet only weeks before. She had just arrived in London and started work as a crime reporter, and pursued a murder case alongside Fleet despite his repeated objections, until he eventually conceded - as Clara had known he would - that they were making a good team, and furthermore proposed - as she hadn't a clue he would - that they go into business together.
p51: "There you are, Fleet. Where have you been?" / Fleet paused, made some confused looks between Clara and the room he had just left, and finally pointed at the door. "Isn't this the waiting room for detectives whose partners have run off? They were quite a few of us in there. Quite a lot in common." / Clara suppressed a grin into something more disapproving. "You're not as funny as you think you are, Inspector." (More below the cut.)
p70: [After Clara successfully sneaks into the Iron Bridge Club] [Fleet] should have known Clara would make it in. Her tenacity had been clear to him since she had first left the police roping at a crime scene of his. It was one of the things he admired about her, even if she didn't always check whether there was somewhere to land.
p76: [After Clara's business card strategies work on Cosgrove] Fleet glanced at Clara. She grinned back, eyes wild with pride, before tapping her bag and mouthing the word 'Posner'.
p116: [After Professor McCabe says “Top marks, Miss Entwhistle”] Clara beamed, and flashed her eyebrows at Fleet while elbowing him in the ribs.
p132: "Don't think you can shake me off, Inspector. I'll come with you." / " I'm not trying to shake you off. It's just late, Clara.” / "You're always trying to shake me off. Ever since we met. Despite my constant usefulness." / "I'd say occasional usefulness," replied Fleet, maintaining a straight face. / Clara, with some effort, twisted her grin into something approximating outrage. "Frequent usefulness, surely!" / "No, but I'll agree to "regular usefulness"." / "Deal.” / “And I asked you to join me in business, Clara. If I'd wanted to shake you off, that's a poor way to go about it."
p154: [From Fleet's POV] Clara really was the sort of person - indeed the only person he knew - who could find genuine joy and wonder in a building site.
p172: [When Clara fears for her life at the display of the Lanterns] She thought of her brother, her sister, her parents... Her ridiculous detective.
p176-178: Clara without her usual pep was almost unrecognisable. [...] Normally that sort of reply would at least elicit some playful scolding. Fleet grew concerned. [...] "Do you want to talk about it?" [...] " What do you want to talk about?" [...] He tried to think of more options. Not talking about things was Fleet's speciality, but for Clara this signalled a worrying malaise. Things were dire. He was going to have to resort to small talk. "Would you like to hear about my day?" A brief pause. "Yes," she replied, with a note of hope [...] Fleet remembered the mess he was in before he switched to the task of cheering up Clara.
p184: When he saw her, she noticed his eyes were shining with a rare zeal, and he appeared bursting to explain whatever he was thinking.
p187: Fleet had, after all, taken her under his wing, even if she did have to thrust herself there initially. She thought about the door plaque he’d had engraved with both their names on it as his way of inviting her to be his business partner – typical Fleet, refusing to tell her so much as his favourite breakfast food and then to go and do something like that. It was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for her.
p201: [After Fleet sees a magpie get electrocuted] Fleet looked at Clara, who thankfully had been facing the other way.
p214: [After Fleet falls into the frozen river] Clara, removing her cape and placing it over Fleet's shoulders
p225: [Clara] had read several books on the subject - Surreptitious Sleuthing, Introduction to Ingression, Undetectable Detection, to name a few - but she always seemed to pick up more from her partner, whose years in the police had left him full of [useful tricks].
p235: [While navigating the Brunellian tunnels for the first time] "I still think my way is more fun." / "Escape, Clara. Escape and then fun." / "That's a promise, Fleet. You've promised it now.”
p259: “That's too much topiary,” said Fleet [...] Clara's eyes lit up at this rare revelation of a personal opinion from her colleague. “I didn't know you had such strong views on topiary, Fleet.”
p293: [When Crowe increases how much he'd be willing to pay them to investigate on his behalf] Fleet knew his answer, but felt he had to see whether Clara was still in agreement. He looked to her, only to be met with an expression of astonishment that he had taken even this long to respond.
p337: [After their falling out] Where do you even begin, she thought, let alone end, with someone you've worked with so closely?
p338: [After they squash the scone Fleet brought Clara as part of his apology] "You want me to eat an exploded scone!" cried Clara, stifling laughter.”/ “I think it says a lot if you refuse.” / “Fine,” she said, grabbing the bag, pulling out the crushed scone and taking an enormous bite. / The corners of Fleet's mouth twitched. Clara was sure he almost laughed.
p341: [Before they go into the Church of the Mechanical Man to look for Helena Evans] Clara smiled, and punched him in the shoulder. / "Ow! What was that for?" / Clara realised that in her excitement at Fleet's plan she had landed her friendly thump with rather more power than intended, so she clarified: "You're a good one, Fleet.”
p371: [After Fleet gets shot in the shoulder] Fleet thought he heard Clara scream his name, but he couldn't be sure. Suddenly she was next to him, checking his shoulder.
p371-372: Clara turned to Fleet. “Now I have an idea.” / “What kind of idea?” / “A terrible idea. Just the worst idea I've ever had.” / Fleet looked towards the distant exit, which could barely be seen beyond the fire, and then back to Clara. “I like it.”
p373: [As they anticipate an oncoming wave of molten metal] Fleet felt a sensation he did not recognise. Something like calm. Then Clara took his hand and turned him towards her. For some insufferable reason she was smiling again. He couldn't help but return it. [...] Fleet realised Clara still had his hand firmly in hers, and she seemed to be saying something at him that he couldn't hear. He tried to listen, but she stopped speaking, shook her head, threw her arms around him and hauled him down onto the ground.
p375: [When Clara won't tell Fleet whether she knew they were going to be saved by Helena Evans] “And you don't think this might affect how likely I am to trust your plans in the future?” / “Does it?” asked Clara. [...] “No,” said Fleet. “It doesn't.”
p381: Clara stiffened her posture, as though she might salute. "Archibald Fleet, I challenge you to a battle of business." / "We're partners, Clara. We're on the same side." / "A point for whoever solves a case first! More for trickier ones!" / "But we work together..." / "Let battle commence!" she cried.

Just took a call from the optometrist I'm supposed to see Friday, telling me I am going to see a "remote optometrist" which means a bunch of whatever the human eye version of vet techs are, are going to do the exam, and a doctor who has a license but does not live here is going to 'sign off on it'
Me, after saying an extremely polite version of 'Are you fucking shitting me": So, is it cheaper?
Her: Well, you're grandfathered into the retinal camera being included, and with the toric exam, and you don't have insurance, so, it's actually still going to be $178 out of pocket.
Me, internally: That's a lot of fuckng words for 'no'
Me, externally: So you're tellin' me it's the same price to see a doctor, or not see a doctor?
Her: ...yes.
(I ended up telling her to book me out into November and if he'll extend my prescription so I can get some contacts and MAYBE some new glasses (Please!) for the UK, that's fine, if not, I'm leaving and shopping this because "I'm sorry but this a bridge for me, you know what I mean" )

🅱️loodborne height headcanons
But first, the canon ones - the official video introducing Maria's figma ( x ) reveals that Maria (and the Doll, as follows) is 6'7'' (201 cm), whereas default Paleblood Hunter is 5'11'' (180 cm).
Then by stretching the image of ripped models ( x ) across the chart with the heights and comparing them to Maria, I concluded Micolash is 5'11'' (180 cm), Gascoigne is 7'2'' (218 cm) and Gehrman is ~7'7''-7'8'' (approximately 233 cm)! Now to the actual hcs! Centimeters scaling is approximate since inches do not convert into very round numbers.
Two lists - in alphabetical order and from tallest to shortest, as self-reference. Might be a subject to change if I ever manage to compare models between themselves better!

Episode 178: The Deepest Dive on The Jeffrey Epstein Conspiracy, PART 3 *IS LIVE*!
Image 01: Prince Andrew visiting convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein in 2011 because he is “too honorable” to break their friendship over the phone. Image 02: Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, getting her toes “sucked” on vacation by her financier while married to Prince Andrew. Image 03: The Daily Mirror, a Maxwell family publication, broke the royal scandal first. Image 04: A note allegedly written by Princess Diana in her handwriting on her stationary to her then butler, Paul Burrell, foretelling a planned car accident. The evidence was dismissed by critics despite numerous verified letters by Diana which matched. Image 05: Bill Clinton gaslights the nation into thinking he didn’t have an affair. Image 06: The painting “Parsing Bill” by Ryan-Klied hung in Epstein’s home. The painting depicts Clinton in the blue dress that was labeled as “an insurance policy” and used as evidence to prove Clinton had an affair. Image 07: Bill Gates was allegedly threatened by Epstein over email regarding his alleged affair with Russian bridge player, Mila Antonova. Around the time of the alleged affair, Mila was photographed with alleged Kremlin spy, Anna Chapman. Image 08: Conspiracy theorists claim that Epstein is alive and the body pulled from Epstein’s cell was not Epstein. Image 09: Some people even claim Epstein is a 300 year old vampire, and that perhaps Andrew Jackson and Jeffrey Epstein are the same person. Image 10: In January of 2024, former Fox News host Megyn Kelly claimed we might hear from Epstein directly this year. What do you guys think? Is Epstein alive?

182 Days of TPN - Day 178
Chapter 178: "To the Human World"
As sweet as it is to have Mujika & Sonju rush all the way from the capital to the GF plantation to wish the children one last goodbye, I can't help but think of the surprised Pikachu meme whenever I see this panel of Ray. He matches it perfectly.
Tumblr media
Kinda glad we don't linger on the tragic events of the previous chapter long, like yeah, I don't need to shed any more tears about it, but also having Mujika completely switch topics as if the loss wasn't highly depressing is lowkey hilarious. Also, that one shot of the plantation shows the outer bridge again somehow even though it was clearly destroyed back in ch167.
Tumblr media
I'm assuming Oliver, Violet & all the other GP kids already know about the golden water because Lucas might have told them about it when he ventured underground with Emma? It's not like any of them saw the literal Goldy Pond themselves since it was locked behind the door that required the WM pen to open and none of the residents had one until Emma showed up, but whatever. The only one of them I could imagine getting a peak of the golden water themselves is Nigel since he went below the windmill to set off the self destruct button in the control room that was right next to said pond. Anyways, if this is the place the Ratri clan used to transport stuff between worlds, can't y'all just use the stairs too? I dunno why but I can't imagine them using the Seven Wall method every time, or that they would even know how to complete the ritual in the first place. Emma only activated that to advise the demon god they're all ready to implement the promise and cross over.
Tumblr media
Phil asking the very important questions that we're all dreading the answers to! Though I'm wondering again how he knew of the deal in the first place. I figure he and all the other children at GF were told about the promise off panel by the escapees sometime after they were all reunited or perhaps that little tidbit of information was something Phil heard about from Andrew. Who knows. I certainly don't. I can love this series with all my heart but by no means do I have an abundance of knowledge of every tiny detail.
Tumblr media
I can't and won't say Emma's lying here because she isn't. She answers Phil's questions with full confidence and very truthfully, it's just.. not the full truth, which is clever on her part to just give the answers they're wondering about instead of all the extra fine details because her family definitely wouldn't allow her to carry such a burden, as they outwardly express to her a bit later.
Tumblr media
I can imagine Emma revealing the price of the reward so casually, like "oh, the demon god actually wants you guys," or something similar which makes everyone's freak out even funnier in my head.
Tumblr media
Thankfully, her family is off limits due to how Emma phrased the new promise to include all the cattle children to cross over to the human world, so the reward is.. "nothing." It's so anti-climatic that no one believes it. I praise Emma's master actor skills very highly and will probably do so again in a couple pages, but this undoubtedly one of her weaker performances. C'mon honey, I know the past couple days have been real hectic but surely you had some downtime between all the traveling to and from the capital to think up a better story. (and Violet totally swears there. don't even question it. perfectly in character.)
Tumblr media
I love how everyone continues to be skeptical as the lie continues to grow. If the reward was really that simple, then Emma wouldn't have had a reason to hide the reward from Ray when he first asked about it during ch144. If it was all good news and truly free from any sort of sacrifices, then I'm sure she would've been delighted to tell him everything she and the demon god discussed.
Tumblr media
She's certainly not wrong. Just because the cursed blood will be shared amongst all the demons so they won't degenerate, doesn't mean that'll cure their cravings for human meat. Sonju is a perfect example of that. I also love how enthusiastically everyone is nodding their heads to Norman's words. The fact everyone would give up their freedom in the human world just to stay behind in the demon world with Emma is so precious. It would've been interesting to see all the humans live normal lives (as "normal" as they could possibly get anyway) in the demon world and whether or not they could actually coexist with the demons. I guess the second season sorta did that during that final episode slideshow where it had the fullscore trio and Lambda crew stay behind for a couple years before crossing over, but that was poorly done and covered the later story arcs instead of everyone living freely so that attempt doesn't count.
Tumblr media
It's so wholesome to see everyone celebrate like this because Emma is still telling the truth here. They really really deserve to be excited and hopeful for their new lives in the human world.
Tumblr media
It's so reassuring to know that the boys are still feeling just as suspicious about this reward as the entire fandom did.
Tumblr media
The doubts don't last for much longer though since Emma starts speaking from her heart and we all know how motivating and optimistic she is when that happens. Emma has lied and put on great performances in the past in order to hide her real intentions, so the fact she's being completely true to herself and her feelings here is impressive since no one, not even Norman or Ray, could detect any other uncertainties about the reward with how efficiently she puts their wondering minds at ease.
Tumblr media
Well I'm sure as hell not. (I do love this panel of her though.)
Tumblr media
Relativity by M. C. Escher, but make it pretty and magical.
Tumblr media
Sorry to say but she's definitely gonna forget you, Mujika. Not by choice of course, but consequently. I'll never get over that bittersweet smile of Emma's either.
Tumblr media
Totally gonna be bias but I'm absolutely thrilled everyone ended up in what is essentially this world's version of New York. Aside from that, I was beyond worried about Emma obviously missing as she was previously holding onto Phil's hand for several pages before everyone crossed over, but I tried hard to push away all the anxious feelings by thinking of how exciting it would be to see the kids explore one of the world's largest cities. You know, after they find our very special sunshine child first of course. That's top priority.
Tumblr media
Favorite panel/moment:
I love how these two panels blend into one another. Makes me wanna believe that Emma was in two places at once, as silly as that idea is, but she either used the ritual to just signal the demon god that everyone's ready or took a quick trip there and back to tell Him personally. It's probably the former (since I doubt there's still an active full moon), but the latter would've been a bit funny to see her disappear for an instant then have her return just as quickly.

Big Creek Bridge Vista Point, CA
The Big Creek Bridge is a 589-foot (180 m)-long, open spandrel, concrete deck arch bridge located on the southern portion of the Big Sur coast of California, along State Route 1 near Lucia. Opened for traffic in 1938, it crosses Big Creek Canyon on this scenic, mountainous coast.
Constructed during the Great Depression and identified by Caltrans as Bridge No. 44 0056, it was opened for traffic in late 1938. Its construction was partially funded by the federal government in connection with the Works Progress Administration. Situated high above Big Creek canyon, this bridge has remained open while many others on the Pacific Coast Highway have been closed due to mud slides. There are parking areas at both ends of the bridge to allow motorists to stop and take photographs.
Its two main spans are open spandrel arches, each 178 feet (54 m) long, while the 116-foot (35 m)-long side arches are cantilevered to the canyon walls. The 24-foot (7.3 m)-wide bridge deck provides for two lanes of traffic and is 65 feet (20 m) above the ground below. Christian Theophil Gutleben, noted for his reinforced concrete arch bridges throughout the California coast and in the Los Angeles area, was the designer. The structure got a seismic retrofit in 1999.

Today in Great Lakes shipping history. June 5th.
1891: in heavy fog, the NORTHERN QUEEN (steel propeller freighter, 299 foot, 2,476 gross tons, built in 1889, at Cleveland, Ohio) struck the schooner FAYETTE BROWN (wooden schooner, 178 foot, 553 gross tons, built in 1868, at Cleveland, Ohio) about ten miles off Dummy Light on Lake Erie. The BROWN, which was loaded with stone blocks, quickly sank in over 60 feet of water. One of the schooner’s crewmen climbed aboard the QUEEN while the others barely had time to scramble up the schooner’s masts. Accounts of the accident differ. The schooner’s skipper claimed that the NORTHERN QUEEN continued on her journey while the schooner’s crew clung to the masts while the skipper of the NORTHERN QUEEN claimed that he tried to find survivors, but lost the wreck in the fog and reluctantly continued on his journey, figuring that there were no survivors. Nevertheless, about an hour after the disaster, the steamer ROBERT MILLS (wooden propeller freighter, 256 foot, 1,790 gross tons, built in 1888, at Buffalo, New York) came along, heard the cries of the unfortunate seamen clinging to the masts and rescued them. No lives were lost.
1947: the Canada Steamship Lines steamer EMPEROR, loaded with ore and bound for Ashtabula, hit the rocks off Isle Royale at 4:10 a.m. The vessel sank within minutes but the crew was able to launch 2 lifeboats. Captain Eldon Walkinshaw, First Mate D. Moray, and 10 other crew members drowned when one of the lifeboats overturned. Twenty-one other survivors were rescued by the U.S.C.G. cutter KIMBALL.
1961: Over the winter of 1960 – 1961, CHARLES M. SCHWAB was rebuilt by joining the forward end of the original SCHWAB with the after end of the former oil tanker GULFPORT. On this date in 1961 Captain Raphael “Dewey” Marsden conducted sea trials with the vessel on Lake Erie between Lorain and Cleveland.
1972: The PARKER EVANS was in collision with the upbound Erie Sand steamer SIDNEY E. SMITH JR just below the Blue Water Bridge, at Port Huron, Michigan. The SMITH sank in 20 minutes with no loss of life. The EVANS, with bow damage, proceeded to Port Weller Dry Docks for extensive repairs. As a result of this accident, on October 5, 1972, alternate one-way traffic between the Black River Buoy and Buoys One and Two in Lake Huron was agreed upon by the shipping companies. Also a call-in system was initiated to monitor traffic between the Detroit River Light and Buoys 7 and 8 in Lake Huron by the newly established Sarnia Traffic.
1979: while carrying corn on Lake Superior, CARTIERCLIFFE HALL (steel propeller bulk freighter, 730 foot, 18,531 gross tons, built in 1960, in Germany as a.) RUHR ORE) caught fire 10 miles north of Copper Harbor, Michigan. Her crew abandoned ship in two life rafts and one lifeboat. Six died in this tragedy while five were injured; four (including Captain Raymond Boudreault) were injured seriously enough to be flown to the University of Michigan Burn Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. U. S. Steel’s THOMAS W. LAMONT rescued 17 at 4:52 a.m. while CSL’s LOUIS R. DESMARAIS rescued two more. The CARTIERCLIFFE HALL was towed to Thunder Bay by the tug PENINSULA the following day.

Three places the intercession of the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم will be sought from him on the day of Judgement:
"Upon the authority of Anas Ibn Maalik who said: “I asked the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم to intercede for me on the day of judgement and he said: “I will do so” so I said: “Where will I seek you on the day of Judgement Oh Messenger of Allah? He replied “The first place you should seek for me is at the Siraat (The bridge over the Hellfire) So I said: and if I do not find you at the Siraat? He said: “Then seek for me at the scales” So I said: “And if I do not find you at the scales? He said “Then seek me at the Hawd (The pond of the Messenger –صلى الله عليه وسلم ) for certainly I will not be mistaken in one of these three places on the day of Judgement”[1]
(Collected by Ahmad 3/178) and At Tirmidhi 2433 and declared ‘Saheeh’ by Shaikh Albaani in Saheeh At Targheeb (3/235/3625) and Mishkaat (5595))
======================
Benefit: This hadeeth points towards a position held by some of the people of knowledge (from them Al Imaam Al Bukhaari) that the Hawd will be after the Siraat.
Also, the scholars who have explained the hadeeth, mention that the fact the Prophet – صلى الله عليه وسلم mentioned these places as locations to find him on the day of judgement does not indicate that this is the order in which these things will occur, since the well-known order is the Hawd, then the reckoning in the presence of the scales and then the siraat.
We ask Allah to grant us his intercession on that trying day.
Wa Sallallahu ‘alaa Nabiyinaa Muhammad
[1] Meaning, these will be the three most pressing times the intercession of the Messenger will be sought (Tuhfatul Ahwadhi: 6/225)

Ravi is someone who has a very sarcastic and loud personality. She comes across to many people as highly reserved, yet humorous and perhaps even crude at times. Even so, she has a reputation for being highly mysterious with not much known about her despite her outwardly open nature.
She is also highly known for her intelligence and work ethic due to her high grades in the Computer Science department despite not having much knowledge about the subject initially. This is also supported by her dual enrollment at Sungkyunkawan and her bility to balance her sports, family company work, and school.
She can be very lighthearted, but when she focuses on something - the becomes tunnel-minded and can even disrupt the best of plans.
She also earnt the title of the Queen Taipan due to her snake tattoos, her fighting style, and the ease that she could fight against Vasco.
Appearance :
Ravi is a well-muscled young woman of above average height. She currently stands at 189 cm with wavy. mid-back length black hair and black-red eyes emphasized by kajjal. She has tanned skin and a bridge of freckles across her nose and shoulders.
She has dual water color tattoos in black, lilac, and white of two snakes across her biceps and often has elaborate mendi patterns on her arms. Ravi has dual dimples and monolids. Her body type is an inverted triangle and slightly hourglass shaped and highly muscled and toned due to extensive training and strength conditioning.

She has a golden nose piercing and golden ear studs with a black industrial piecing in her left ear and a chain helix piercing on her right ear.
With her standard school uniform, she wears pants rather than the skirt, a skintight turtleneck, Converse thick soled sneakers, and her hoodie-leather jacket.
Background :
She was born to the head of Taesan and one of the shareholders of HnH. Her mother was a former wrestling champion who'd decided to try her way into business. When expanding her international branches and making a contract with HnH, she met Baek Dogyeong.
The two of them initially didn't get along, but they developed a camaraderie and strong friendship together, eventually opting to get married to merge their businesses
Shortly after her and her brother were born, her father and mother separated as they were much closer as friends. Her mother took custody of her twin brother and her father took custody of her
Before she was about to leave to return to India with Hwaraon, Taushini Jin was murdered by Park Jong-Gun as revenge against her sister died in an accident, leaving her father to raise the three of them on his own (he adopted Gyu before the twins were born).
Growing up, she had always been fond of martial arts and as the Heir to her father's company, such knowledge was expected. As a result, Ghauravi and Hwaraon grew up in a healthy environment despite being bullied through the majority of their early schooling and both pursued martial arts - Ravi being more so than Hwa.
However, in middle school, Hwa used to get bullied and Ravi would defend him, leading to her becoming a target. The girl who instigated the bullying was a daughter of an army official and at the time, her father was struggling, so she would continue to get severely bullied to the point that she would be scarred heavily.
Ultimately, after this, Ghauravi threw herself into training and she took up swimming and computer programming. She eventually emerged onto the MMA scene, where she befriended Seong Taehoon and eventually Ji Yeonwoo through her dual enrollment. When she entered J High, she was reunited with Jay - who she was childhood friends with - and he was the one who asked her to join <;Allied>.
Trivia :
Ghauravi likes to go by Ravi since her sister gave her that nickname and the two of them nicknamed their brother Hwa.
Ghauravi's MBTI-personality is ESTJ .
Despite being wealthy, Ghauravi used to live in a two-story home in a more suburban area near Seoul. After her father's death, she rotates between living with her sister and brother in a multi-bedroom apartment and living with her Uncle in their Taesan safehouse.
Her title in the Allied crew is [Serpent].
She has a pet lavender corn snake, a pet hognose snake, and two fat tailed geckos as pets.
She had a herpetology phase in middle school.
She understands English, Hindi, and Korean but is terrible with languages and the arts.
Alongside running Taesan, Ghauravi plans on being a professional athlete in both MMA and competitive swimming.
She has a motorcycle that she uses to pick up Taehoon and Yeonwoo whenever they decide to join Hobin in his chaos.
She has a Tic-Tak-Tok account that she just blatantly and openly talks about all the drama in the crews and exposes everyone. [A majority of the heads of the Four Crews follow her and think she's joking.]

«I do not believe that we can restore and expand the freedoms that our lives require unless and until we embrace the justice of our rage. [...] Should we surrender our grievances and wither away in civil silence? Have we lost heart? Have the streets and the highways and the bridges of America closed down? Can we not take to them in anger and in expectation of relief? Is it better to scream or to die? If we are afraid to insist we are right, then what?» – (pp. 178-179)

Hi, I’m looking for fics where Harry has to come to terms with his sexuality (internalized homophobia angst is welcome) after realizing he likes Draco with the support of Hermione (and maybe Ron). Know any?
Hi there! It looks like @lettersbyelise and @sitp-recs have posted lovely answers to this here and here.
I'll add an additional sprinkling of my favorite Harry-explores-his-sexuality fics (can't guarantee Hermione's involvement though!):
Harry Potter and the Bisexual Awakening by @writcraft (23k)
This fic scratches all the parts of my brain and is so delightful to read and reread again. Driving lessons, Snitch the dog (the bestest girl), Harry grappling with identifying as bisexual in the midst of some harrowing biphobia, and the beginnings of my personal obsession with Seven Minutes In Heaven in any fic whatsoever.
Welcome to the Broom Closet by incapricious (23k)
Liv has written such a gorgeous review of this fic that I'll leave here--it's the reason I read this fic and I'm so grateful I did. It starts off with such a strong concept and then follows through perfectly, with secrecy and faint memory and hot smut that truly kept me hooked from the very beginning.
Buds, Blooms, and Beards by @corvuscrowned (27k)
I am a long-term fanboy of crow for many reasons but this is one of them. A fantastic Harry and Ginny friendship, and their plant shop(!!!) which is full of storerooms for one Draco Malfoy to pull Harry into and ah, Help Him Do Some Research. Harry and Ginny explore their sexualities in gorgeous parallel, including how and when they feel ready to come out to themselves and their friends.
I'll also add in a fic of my own!
Bridges by cavendishbutterfly (16k)
This is a fic I wrote to shower lots of love on Budapest as a city, but also to tell the story of a Harry just beginning to test out his bisexuality. It's a fic that's close to my heart, and I wanted to play with the ways that exploring one's sexuality can feel complex and muddy and confusing. Hopefully it succeeds in that :)

how they save each other
rated M | 50 words | for the @drarrymicrofic prompt “kind”
it's a different kind of love. they fuck in the mornings. soft light through old windows. new sheets. scrambling for purchase as Draco presses into him. they used to be loud. now whispers: there, darling. just like that. why did it take so long after the war to know peace.

For Worse, For Better
A joyous fanniversary to @sitp-recs, a beautiful person to whom I and my fandom experience are indebted. Just over a year ago I’d started to drift away from drarry after reading a few fics, until I discovered Liv’s incredible blog and so many more fics to love and reasons to dig deeper. I wouldn’t have found my way into this community without her, and am so grateful for her kindness and presence here. Liv, I hope this lil story gives you even a fraction of the joy you and your blog have given me over the past year.
Of course, it’s the one eventuality he hasn’t planned for.
“It’s raining,” Draco says, clutching Pansy’s arm and watching the windows streak.
“It sure is,” they say. Their lipstick is sharp and red—any overt warmth from Pansy is rare, but a corner of their mouth tugs upward, not even in a sneer. They tuck a piece of Draco’s hair behind his ear and smooth out his robes.
“It’s a Muggle venue,” Draco says, realising. “No Weather Charms. We can’t even cast an Impervius.”
“No, we certainly can’t.”
“Don’t laugh at me, Pans.” Draco clutches their arm harder. “Oh Merlin, all the guests are going to be wet, they’ll hate me.”
Pansy shakes their head, tugging Draco gently toward the door. “It’s just a bit of rain, Draco.”
The quartet starts playing outside and Draco thinks, Salazar, all those wooden instruments out in the wet, and there’s nothing to do but push open the doors to the outside. Draco sees the aisle first, a thin carpet lined with flowers and splotched with raindrops. A couple guests have thought to bring umbrellas, which unfurl over small pockets of the crowd. The attendees are dressed in a smattering of Wizarding robes and Muggle dress clothes, all dark with water. The rain hammers on the roof behind them, and on the platform at the end of the aisle.
And there, on the platform in the midst of everything, is Harry. His hair clings to the back of his neck, waterlogged and uncharacteristically flat. His glasses are spotted with droplets, and for a moment Draco thinks, Is he cross? He must be cross. But as Pansy guides him down the aisle, he sees Harry’s smile, impossibly wide.
Draco steps up to the small stage.
Harry grins at him. “Look at you,” he says.
“Yes, well,” says Draco haughtily, smoothing out his hair. “Imagine how you look at the moment, you’ve been out here longer.”
Harry laughs, one of those big belly laughs Draco hadn’t known was possible until Harry came into his life. He reaches for Draco’s hands. “I meant that you look quite handsome,” he says, squeezing Draco’s fingers. “I love those robes on you.”
“You look handsome too,” Draco says quietly, because even with his hair plastered to the sides of his face Harry still looks stunning. “I just—“ Draco glances at the quartet, finishing their song, and knows he only has a few more moments. “It feels like a bad omen, all the rain. It’s grey and horrible out, I just feel like it must mean—“
Harry pulls Draco’s hands to his lips, kisses his knuckles once, twice. “Bad omens are usually good ones for me,” he says. “Black dogs, prophecies, curses. I’d be more worried if our wedding went off without a hitch.”
Draco laughs, despite himself. “I planned for everything. I thought I had it covered.”
“You didn’t plan for me, though.” Harry wiggles his eyebrows nonsensically. “I always make things go sideways.”
It’s not so far from the truth. From the beginning, Draco had never planned on Harry. Harry is a force of nature, something impossible and glorious that has happened to Draco, and somehow keeps happening. He seems to defy all logic.
“I didn’t plan for you,” Draco agrees. “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Somewhere behind them, the music stops. The rain continues. And Draco and Harry, hand in hand, begin.
An enormous thank you to the wonderful @lqtraintracks for betaing, and for the prompt “rain on their wedding day” <3

If you decide to start writing fic
you’ll post something on Aug 22. Nothing major. It will go out to your fresh-faced AO3 and your followers on tumblr, fewer than ten, including your friend the gymnast who is also very good at reccing. You’ll write more microfics, wait to see whether anyone notices, loiter in your office bathroom to scroll through the precious tags of a reblog. A tiger will offer you an invite to a discord server, a first gateway, a beginning. You’ll talk about transness with a chameleon. You’ll talk steadily more to a black cat who lets you onto a whole sea of servers and that will make all the difference in the world. And then the cat will make all the difference in the world, a hundred times over, a thousand. You’ll meet a small community: cacti, witches, rocks, birds, cat owners, apricots. A local of the city you love. You’ll meet fellow hufflepuffs and acespecs and writers you’ve quietly followed for months and months; stars and sweets and quills, readers, healers and academics and degree-holders, and people who take your breath away in fifty words. You’ll remember why language is beautiful. You’ll remember why you write, or maybe learn it for the first time. Four thousand words will feel impossible but you’ll build the first story brick by brick, rewriting and rewriting. People will take the time to read it over for you. They’ll volunteer, even. Sometimes they’ll even thank you for asking them, and it will blow your mind; you’ve forgotten how giving people can be, or perhaps you’re still learning. You’ll meet a chemist by passing your phone to your partner, and by some stroke of luck she’ll anchor you in all her brilliance and warmth. When you post your first longer fics, they will receive love beyond your comprehension. People will leave you long, gracious comments. They’ll write recommendations that floor you. They will say, we saw your heart in Eastern Europe. In the scene with the hair, on the shoreline, in the small cramped flat, in the cabin. You will create things you did not think were possible for you. Strangers and friends will choose to keep you company online, small strange boxes of text made infinitely precious on lonely days and bright ones. You will write a horrifying (wonderful) story with someone halfway across the world and cackle far past your bedtime. You’ll trade paragraphs about eighth year fics, recipes, disco cowboy memes, gifts and prompts galore. A bee, a white cat, milk, honey, geese, a chickpea, an octopus, an artful mouse. These people will teach you queer joy. It is not a small thing to learn. There are so many intricacies captured—here, this is a new way to love your body. Here, this is a new way to stoke your soul. And all the while you will have been becoming yourself, surrounded by art and artists, and you will remember what a beautiful way this is to grow. Fostered by the generosity of strangers, and strangers become friends.

he finally finds out
Rated T | 50 words | for the @drarrymicrofic prompt, “evidence”
Harry frowns. “There’s no evidence he fancies me.”
“He took your quill,” says Pansy.
“Insulted you three weeks straight,” Greg adds.
“Trust us, we know,” says Blaise.
“He’s just a ponce!” Harry says. “He’s always been like that to me. Always.”
A pause.
“…You’re not saying—”
“—Oh, we certainly are.”

RenMei original small moments and scenes (Manga) and SK2021 Studio Bridge’s changes
While RenMei does not get a lot of explicit scenes and moments together, in the original source material (Manga) there are at least 3 major hints of foreshadowing of Renmei, as well as other small easter eggs such as at least one ship teasing moment, one small moment and implications that they have a small moment together where they interacted during the plants arc. However, due to studio bridge having to cut off so much from the original source material and having the episodes count number restricted to 52 episodes, we have small scenes that did not get animated as well as other scenes that were completely changed.
Original manga

Chapter 180 was titled “First kiss”. However in episode 34, it was titled “To be king” instead.
They also did not animate Ren’s POV/ his desperate reactions on not wanting to be revived in episode 34 either.

After Ren gets revived, Jeanne reacted to his revival with a slight smile. However this also did not get animated

Marco gets annoyed at Ren for not showing any gratitude immediately towards Jeanne despite her reviving him and he comments on this. In Ren’s response, he wipes his mouth and spits on the ground, saying that it was a “Nuisance”

Chapter 219
After the fight of Marco vs Luchist, Jeanne and the x-laws joins up with Yoh and his other groups he was affiliated with, with Luchist and opacho also being there as well. Marco and Luchist would try to clash and almost fight again but is stopped by Lyserg, who offers him Belgium chocolate to calm Marco down. Marco then quietly calms down after this and requests for a cup of coffee from Denbat, who also refuses his request and almost begins an argument with Marco. Jeanne then stops this by offering Marco coffee herself to fully calm down the tension between them, saying she would take full responsibility and that the x-laws shouldn’t be fighting among themselves but rather they must take a new step forward as the new reborn “X-Laws”. In response to this, the X-Laws agreed with Jeanne’s words and does their X stance, all yelling “X” together.
Ren being completely annoyed with the commotion, slams his fists on the table and demands to have the attention shifted onto Yoh instead and have him explain what he has to say. However, Horo comments saying “Jeanne is cute isn’t she, Ren?” while Joco “slaps” Ren, yelling "This is no time for checking out girls!”.  After this, everything starts shifting into a chaotic direction as a full comedic moment until Anna steps in and sends out her shikigamis to stop the chaos from happening.

Chapter 277
After the fight with Magna, on their way to the next plant, the group talks about Opacho having the ability to read minds and Hao and why he left Opacho with them. In response, Ren comments saying it’s “Hao” they were dealing with and they don’t know what he’s capable of and his schemes are unpredictable. Joco on the other hand, calls Ren out for his fight with Magna for having a new technique coming out of nowhere and demands an answer so he can have a better understanding. Ren then throws his sword past against Joco and break one of the patch’s surveillance cameras, saying he can’t explain while the patch were watching. Joco then responds by saying he was aware of the cameras but he could have told them in secret, just like he did with Jeanne.

Episode 48
They changed Joco’s lines-- In the original manga, Joco mentioned Ren could have told them just like the time with Jeanne but however in the 2021 remake, the lines did not mention Jeanne and was instead changed to “I know that! You could just whisper it to me!”

Chapter 291
After the fight with Nichrome, Ren gets healed up but gets insecure, wondering if he will end up overcoming all his hatred he keeps receiving and create an Oni one day. Yoh then reassures him that he has his friends by his side and states there was another way to kill a heart full of hatred which was “love”. Yoh mentions that Ren too, will be able to find someone special with whom he will form a family one day and make all of the hatred disappear. This causes Ren to blush and Horohoro, joined in by Joco and Ryu poking fun at him, teasingly going “Now it’s time for someone to say the name of the girl you like!”. Ren then proceeds to get angry and fights the others that were teasing him.

Final chapter, chapter 300
6 years later after the Shaman Fight has ended, the 5 main warriors gathered together for their reunion, meeting at Funbari train station. After not seeing or having contact with one another for years, Ren shows up unexpectedly with his own baby son named Men, shocking the group in the process. Afterwards, the group heads to a family restaurant and Horo questions Ren who the mom was. Lyserg then offers Horo a hint by saying he should look at Men’s name, the color of his eyes and his hair. Taking on his hint of words, Horo then inspects Men carefully by doing all the above Lyserg has mentioned and when Horo stopped at Men’s name and pronounces it slowly, he then comes to a full realization on who the mother of Men was and before he could say anything else further, Ren changes the topic and asks when the “others” (Yoh and Anna) was coming.
The final chapter did not explicitly show who the mother of Men was but there was a very big hint of implication that reveal who the mother of Men was and who Ren was married to.
