ngngngnngngngngnngngngNNGNGNGNNGNGG AAAAAA I LOVE ACHIEVEMENTS, I love collecting achievements in my favorite games!! I want to 100% complete all the games I love!! They're my little trophies!!!
But also lord why are all my favorite games infested with grindy, unfun achievements?
BTD6? pop 500 golden bloons, win 100 matches of monkey teams, pop 5,000,000 fortified bloons. Why Ninja Kiwi?
TF2? Win 142 matches of Powerhouse? Who the fuck has the time for that! It's not even a good map! Plus it's the one game mode that can technically last forever!
Tetragun? Complete a run without having the groovy rock be hit once. That's already hard enough to do, but what's worse is that that grooveless stupid ass rock has only a small chance of even showing up in the first place!
The only (extra) grindy achievement I've had enough patience to get were the Terraria ones (200 fishing quests, remove corruption from a world), but that's only because I love that game to death and I'm getting married to it.

I love playing games to furthest completion to make sure I appreciate the game to the fullest which is all fun but a problem arises, once you do this the game is over (unless you start speed running I guess but shh) and you are left with “That game was fun I should play it again”, and then you remember it’s still over! Example: cuphead and webbed. Funny little games that I obsessed over until I did it all and now I am:

A Long Time
it has been a while since i've updated my blog. from where i left off, i still had to complete the red dead redemption ii story as well as finish that 100% grind. since then i have not only done both of those, but i have gotten all the achievements for red dead online as well. i honestly enjoyed most of the online experience besides the hackers. it took a grand total of 263 hours to get all the achievements in the game. it was definitely a grind, but i haven't experienced a 100% that wasn't a grind at least somewhat.
after red dead redemption ii, i wanted to check out max payne, as i've heard so many good things about the series. remedy seems to make quality games, and i'm a big rockstar games fan (duh) so i thought it would be a perfect fit for me. i started max payne, and so far i'm liking it. the face models and death sounds are really funny to me though, but i look past it. so far i've enjoyed the narrative, and aesthetics the game offers. i am hoping to finish my playthrough in the near future. i will say i'm either bad or the game is pretty difficult.
beyond this, i had set out to finish up getting all of the grand theft auto iv achievements. as of writing, i have just gotten them all. every time i go back to the base game, it's such a treat. easily one of my favorite games ever.
these shots are from my time finishing up the ballad of gay tony achievements but i just love how orange this game can be.
my ultimate goal for gaming in 2024 is to play/replay all the rockstar games titles in preparation for grand theft auto vi. i cannot express how excited i am for this game. just a day or so ago, jason schreier reported that rockstar are forcing employees to go back to the office for five days a week as they are entering the final stages of the game's production. my heart goes out to the developers on this one, but i can't help but be a little giddy. it's been such a long road (hehe) to this game, and we're finally almost there. trailer 1 felt so surreal to me, everything looked amazing. my favorite parts were the ped density, the motel scene, and then the store robbery scene that ended the trailer.
that just about sums up my gaming adventures over the course of the month i've been absent, it's been fun!

Dear gentlefolk, I did it at last. I got 100% in Breath of the Wild.
Yesterday I FINALLY tackled Calamity Ganon (what a beautiful ending the game had, btw. The after credits scene was *chef's kiss*), but my map still said 99,59%, so I spent some hours traversing across Hyrule tonight, to visit the few places I had missed (like a tiny bridge, a hot spring, some ruins and finally, the water reservoir).
I also finished watching a Let's Play of "Skyward Sword" yesterday, all in preparation for "Tears of the Kingdom" and I'm SO ready for the game now. I wish it was Friday already, don't you? XD
(Speaking of Skyward Sword...There's one thing I still don't understand btw and perhaps fans might enlighten me. Previously to experiencing the game, I knew Ghirahim was extremely popular, as I had seen lots of fanarts of him. My only prior encounter with him had been in Hyrule Warriors back in the day, but he left no impression on me. I thought watching the story of Skyward Sword unfold would make it clear why people are attracted to him, but... I still don't get it? :''D I mean, his final form/true form was cool and all that, but I still can't help but feel creeped out by how he...Well, creeped around Link. So I genuinely want to know why people are into him.)
