Hi! Kept forgetting to answer this or not having an active wip with the word laugh in it xD but here we go, from an almost-finished Bering and Wells fic with Helena, Myka and Claudia in Hamburg:

"Charmer," Myka laughs, and she has that word from Helena, and she looks so beautiful beaming at her in the low light... Helena pulls her close, wrapping her free arm around Myka's back and kissing her deeply.

At first, it seems like a film of the night sky over a desert set to a curious kind of music, if the sounds and evil laughter could even be called music at all, and Helena watches and listens somewhat passively, but soon she finds it to be so much more than that.

Helena wants to laugh.

Trying to explain her train of thought and what made her laugh would cause more confusion than not, she is sure, and the pun probably wouldn't even be funny to anyone but her, save perhaps Myka who is slowly getting used to her unique brand of humour, in particular when she tries to find something funny to distract herself from lingering grief.

Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs...

Five times in one fic even! Well, the last line's just a Pink Floyd song lyric, but still :D
