Quand j’ai ta peau
contre ma peau, je sens
frissonner tout mon corps, ne
t’avise pas de t’éloigner, j’en
veux toujours plus et
encore…

Nunca hablé con él. Nunca siquiera he interactuado con él.

today i reread my diaries from when i was very young. it’s surreal seeing how much i’ve changed
i was a starry eyed little girl, filled with dreams, living in a fantasy. i wonder if she’d be disappointed with how worldly i’ve become..

Flying in the sky.
Small robin sitting at my windowsill,
It came to the feeder and ate its fill.
Small robin fleeing to the sky,
Soaring to the sun, bye-bye.
Plenty of pigeons come to my garden.
Seeds fly everywhere, and there are babies barging in.
They scurry away when I get too close to the window,
Probably scared of my face- looking sad as a widow’s.
Blackbirds and magpies scutter throughout their homes,
Some drip down to the ground, some drip down to the stones.
Worms in their beak- without worries- only fussing if there's a cat.
Pat, pat, pat, of their feet on the path- pat, pat, pat.
Crows and ravens aren’t common,
Some find them to be vermin.
They just walk around,
Looking to see what's to be found.
Kites, Red kites, are such a sight to see.
Milvus Milvus, your wings can wrap around me.
Pick me up like a rabbit,
It’s so great up there- isn’t it?
All over the world, birds get to fly.
Fly into the sun, fly into the sky.
Kingfishers to albatrosses, chickens to vultures.
All over the world- all over different cultures.
How I would like to grow wings!
Oh, how quickly I would pack my things.
Go to a different country- go worldwide!
Oh, how quickly I would have cried (be overjoyed).
But here I am, sitting by my window, watching a robin.
It’s eating, it’s troddin’.
It came by my windowsill,
Then to my bird feeder for its fill.
