I go back to the GQ editorial with the boys a lot.

It's so unrealistic and stupid to think this way, but I wish they could give me some advice, and tell me their story of how they got through that period. Because I'm in a very, very similar position and I'm running out of strength and ideas.

As a creative person, I can't, in good conscience, participate with the internet anymore. As many may already know, there is now a lawsuit against Google for allowing open AI to scrape all existing Google Docs. All of my work, not just my creative writing but all of my research done from school was stolen to feed their greed. It's hard enough when people repost your hard work without giving credit, it's a whole other story when a corporation does it to feed a machine that's intended to steal and replace industries. I'm utterly disgusted.

SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME A GOOD ALTERNATIVE TO PINTEREST FOR ART

I recently got back into doing art.

I used to use Pinterest for my reference photos due to its easy search engine, saving and organising features. Over the last few months I have noticed a steep decline of quality within the algorithm. I literally just searched "side profile of black woman" and it gave me images of white and Asian woman with only every 5th image being of a black woman or a side profile (and cats for some reason???).

I'm sick of it. I've tried googling alternatives but either the interface is hard to use, I'm having similar issues to pinterest, or the site/app clearly isn't made for artist reference images. Idk why pinterest has gone to shit but I've been noticing the decline over the last 2 years.

Please, I am desperate, I can't keep relying on google and pinterest for reference images. It's fine for random scrolling, but I can no longer find what I'm looking for when actively searching.
