Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!

SO sorry for the VERY belated cat update! But, my phone...well...

Remember how Hotel hates the camera flash?

...Yeah, I apparently forgot one day, and... well, that was the last day of my old phone’s life U_U;

I still haven’t even been able to recover the poor phone’s corpse for the lil bastard yet gdhsjagdjashg

SO, to catch up on what’s gone on since my last update, from easiest to explain, to most complicated:

New cat tree!

This one big enough for all the new additional cats to use! Hopefully, Ripper won’t claw THIS one to shreds as fast as the last one!

Valentines day!

All the cats got into the flower decorations I had for the house, but I couldn’t be mad, they look too cute!

Annnnnnd, the update most are probably waiting for:

The status of the injured cat!

Soo, first off, she did indeed pull though, and she does have a name now: November! (Because she reminds me of pumpkin spice~)

It was touch and go for quite awhile. Honestly, if that mysterious grey cat hadn’t lead me to her then and there, I kind of doubt November be here with us today.

Mysteriously enough, it turned out that she already had a micro chip, but somehow, it was internally damaged enough that the only information that could be pulled from it was that the chip was put in her in 2004!?!

I- I assume that HAS to be some kinda glitch due to the damage, because otherwise, that means this cat is 15-years-old (At LEAST), and she- she doesn’t seem THAT old, surely!

Anyways, the vet went ahead and gave her a chip under my name to replace it. Just like with Tango, I just get the gut feeling if her old owner IS out there somewhere, her going back to them... wouldn’t be a good thing...

As for how she’s integrating with the rest of the cats... Well, I haven’t had her meet Hotel or Kilo yet, and I honestly wouldn’t have even had her see Ripper or Tango at this point if it wasn’t for Ripper’s door opening skills letting him barge his way into the room anyway >_>; Poor Ripper has been trying SO hard to make friends, but November’s having NONE of it. Interestingly enough, November’s completely cool with Tango! Just not Ripper. Which makes Ripper sad, because he can’t be around Tango when he’s with her, and in turn, it makes Tango sad that Ripper’s sad, and- Augh, hopefully this all smooths itself out soon. I’m already predicting enough trouble with getting Kilo and Hotel to not completely FLIP when they realize there’s another cat in the house...

Annd, that about covers the two month recap!

It was back in 98 when I used to “work” with some friends fansubbing anime in a home studio. One day one of my friends, who used to go to japan a lot because his family was living there as dekasegi, brought some episodes of logh (half of the 1st season) telling us that we should start subbing it because it was “the best space opera ever to exist”. We found the script on the internet and watched it. It was awesome, but we never subbed it because we were too lazy.

89)What did you like in LOGH? A LOT of things. I liked the writing, the fact that the story is thought and presented as if it were historical data, is really believable most of the time. I like the characters, aesthetically speaking, their design are so varied and unique I could pretty much imagine how they would look like as real people. On a psychological level as well, their variety and depth is amazing and I mention this show as an example on how the best stories are those where both the plot and the characters are awesome.

91)What do you think of democracy as depicted in LOGH? Democracy is not something that should be taken for granted and LOGH has the best way to remind us about it.

bierrab: uhhm i think her goal is to learn more about human life and be reunited with her old clan! but um. it's a bit hopeless because. a lot of her old clan was killed by humans *whips and naenaes*

for context, she is an aaracokra and is oblivious to what really happened to her clan and ended up getting kinda lost! shes not too developed yet but a friend helped me come up w her story

boris: ujhhh provide for his kids back home! i havent played him in a campaign yet so he isnt super developed, but hes a tabaxi bard who has two kids at home and is adventuring to get money to support them and bring home cool stuff as souvenirs for them

farrow: man no clue. i havent used him in a campaign in a while, but i guess in general his goal is to just prove himself, get stronger, and get freaky revenge on everyone who's ever wronged him and his party >:)

80s farrow: OUGH. first of all: find the werewolf thats been tormenting his town (and hopefully have it be his totally-not-crush clayton). second of all: form the garage band of his dreams. third: be accepted by the cool kids of his baseball team. fourth: make friends and stop being a lonely bitch

RTS skuggy: no idea what his goal is outside of road to salem but in this campaign my friend's running everyone's goal is to get to salem in one piece tbh. he wants 2 escape his past and figure his deal out and settle down in a fucked up town ^_^

bierrab is not opposed to learning about it but doesn't follow it herself, she does love hearing stories from different cultures however

boris i dont fucking know man. he would follow a higher power but idk what that power is idk dnd religion so hes just there. he isnt super religious but he thinks theres somethin out there and hopefully its watching over his party and his family
