sae
Tumblr media
i think that more than sae’s switching from striker to midfielder what’s sadder for me upon knowing the bit that we now know of the itoshi backstory (note: through rin’s pov) is the whole fact that sae had to go through it all while being in an entirely different country. at 13 years old. completely by himself. apart from having to face this huge wake-up call regarding his skill level with regards to the world’s, he also had to deal with the crushingly different environment, language, culture, and people. no way that those did not affect his getting the results that he wanted.
this got me thinking that, even though (i’m guessing) the more widely accepted reading right now is that sae’s got his ego crushed, i also feel there’s another possible explanation for sae’s extreme bitterness regarding japanese football. (yes, it’s extreme, he doesn’t even wanna be associated with it!) japan propped him as their ‘striker’ because in a way he was the closest thing they had to a striker. and then he gets to play in a world-class setting and realizes that japan was not developing his true talent at all, which could mean two things:
1) the football he grew up playing prioritized teamwork more than the individual (and this is exactly what ego jinpachi is railing against when he started blue lock) and so this mentality hampered his striker motivations/his ego.
2) sae realizes that they were blowing smoke up his ass because they wanted him to be that striker, when they actually didn’t know what a striker was or was supposed to be; and hence he’d lost some precious time training, instead, for the role that fit his skill-set better: being a midfielder.
because sae’s the kinda guy who sets unforgiving standards—even and especially to himself—in pursuing his goals, standards that even made him recognize the brutal realism that he isn’t fit for best striker in the world, hence his laser focus on being best midfielder instead. he’s not gonna waste his perfect passes on strikers that are unable to score, he’s not gonna waste his energy on a team that won’t be able to keep up with him, and he’s not about to waste his time and his future in a country, in a football, that’ll waste his potential. if someone like him finds out that his time was wasted that way, of course he’s gonna be furious and unforgiving. (not that it’s too late now, but he could’ve started earlier, you know what i mean..)
it’s no wonder the ideals and philosophy of blue lock appealed to him then (whereas the current japanese football federation could eat shit as far as he’s concerned lol) especially with their focus on the assertion of one’s ‘ego.’ the insistence that your football shouldn’t have to depend on a teammate/your team/someone else to be great, because you yourself should have that power, the confidence/ego, and the skill to back it up. sae, anri, and ego are probably all in the agreement that these are the vital things that could help a japanese football player in the world stage.
i always thought it fascinating how there seem to be some parts in the story wherein ego (or even anri) would be explaining something, a blue lock principle or whatever, as if he were speaking to or referring to sae, even without sae being mentioned or shown in the page. blue lock is for players like sae (and oliver aiku, and many others that came before) as much as it is for the younger, much more ‘unpolished gems’ like rin, isagi, barou, etc.
Tumblr media
i also think that while the sentiment (throughout blue lock maybe) seems to be that the striker is the best position of all and that everything else: meh, and that sae is somewhat of a tragic character for ‘settling’ on being a midfielder, i hardly think it’s tragic. it’s fair to think so (because plot) but it’s really not so bad, considering there’s many midfielder stars out there in the world, too. nowhere in the story did it also say that sae couldn’t compare to the strikers of the world; he only said that the world is filled with amazing players, and that he wants to become the top midfielder in the world not because he lost to strikers...i mean, seeing him play, his scoring ability is very much still top notch even for a midfielder. he simply has very high standards, so if he’s at his best in his passing, he wouldn’t be expecting any less from a scorer.
the striker being the like ‘main character’ in the team (according to blue lock) is not a bad thing, though—i mean they are the principal scorers so they kind of are in a way lol—because for the purposes of ‘reseting’ their current football landscape and mentality, that’s kind of important. i guess blue lock is like, we’re all about building the no. 1 striker because it’s what japan needs at the moment, but it goes without saying that the other positions are just as important, too.

Phantom Boy (1)
When the Doctors Fenton lose their son in a lab accident involving a ghost portal, the distraught parents will do anything to get him back. Even if it means breaking the immutable laws of life and death. But that thing? That’s not their boy.
[This fic is inspired by, and follows the general plot structure of, Astroboy (2009).
I had the pleasure of working with two absolutely fabulous artists on this fic for Invisobang 2023: @pikakaistudios and @polterrrgeist, who created some beautiful illustrations! And thank you to my marvelous beta, Fin, as well!]
Chapter 1: A Perfect Replica (Read on AO3)
[Warnings for character death, and human experimentation]
Danny Fenton always tried to be the perfect son.
Straight 'A's in school—even with advanced math and science classes, a vested interest in a well-regarded future career in space science, and a polite disposition all made him a son any parents would be over the moon to have.
His own parents, however, never seemed to appreciate it. Nor did they realize that he did all of it to earn their attention and their love. Always vying for his parents' affection when they remained ensconced in their work resulted in disappointment, even resentment, more often than not. But his disappointment took a back seat to his determination.
He still tried. That was a feat his older sister had entirely given up on, focusing instead on her own aspirations, and drifting further away from her family with each passing day.
Unlike his sister, Danny remained optimistic. He’d just gotten back a major test with a perfect score—surely, this could earn him his parents’ praise.
"Mom! Dad!" he shouted as he practically skipped up the porch steps and in the front door, bright eyed, and smiling, full of hope, and life. "I totally aced that test the other day!"
His announcement met cold silence.
A house full of empty rooms greeted him, his own footsteps against the hardwood floor the only ‘welcome home’ he was going to get. He checked the kitchen, living room, upstairs bedrooms. His parents were nowhere to be found. They were probably in their lab again, working on their big project—the ghost portal Jazz always said they loved more than their kids. Danny could always find them there, whether he wanted to or not. He didn’t want to agree with Jazz, but it was hard not to, sometimes.
He crept down the stairs to the basement. "Mom? Dad?"
There was an anteroom next to the lab with changing rooms and radiation showers. Danny usually never bothered to go past it into the actual lab. For one, hazmats were required in the lab at all times, and those things were a pain. For another, his parents were always down there, and if he did something careless like ask a question, then he could forget about them listening to another word he had to say. They would spend hours blathering on about their work as if he wasn’t even in the room.
Still, the lab had always drawn him to it, fascinated him. It was pretty cool in a creepy sort of way. It was full of strange inventions and concoctions, and colored lights and glowing vials that cast strange shadows on the walls which were almost mesmerizing. And even with a hazmat suit on, he could swear the smell of chemicals permeated right through and followed him for hours after he left.
He looked through the window into the lab itself. Usually knocking would get their attention, although it often took a few tries.
Much to his surprise, he didn’t see them down there either. "Where are they?" he wondered aloud, reaching for a hazmat suit which hung on the wall. If they weren't home, maybe he could actually nose around without having to listen to a two hour lecture. Besides, once they got back, he’d have a better chance of catching them down in the lab than anywhere else in the house.
Once suited up, he pressed the button to open the door and walked through. The portal they were so obsessed with looked like a big, metal hole in the wall, much less impressive than some of the other things his parents had built, if you asked him. Danny scowled at it, running his fingers along the octagonal opening before walking inside to get a closer look.
Seeing it now, up close and personal, Jazz’s claim that Mom and Dad loved it more than their kids rose to the top of his mind feeling truer than ever. What was so great about this project they'd ignored him in favor of working on for so many years? Why was this more important than a relationship with their kids?
"I think this part from the Ops Center will be just the thing," he heard his mother's voice, loud but muffled, coming down the stairs. "It's so close I can taste it!"
"They're back," Danny muttered, turning. He was almost at the very back of the unfinished portal, completely in darkness, and began to walk out, his eyes focused on the hexagon of light spilling in from the lab.
He didn’t see the jumble of cords on the floor. They grabbed him by the ankles and sent him careening. He bit his tongue as his chin hit the floor, a bitter, metallic taste filling his mouth.
The cords wrapped around his feet, tangled around his ankles and crept up his shins as if they were alive and keeping him there intentionally, rather than by his own misfortune. Or perhaps it was his dazed mind or the blood which gushed from his lips and choked his breath that prevented him from untangling them. Perhaps, in his disoriented state, he was just tangling them further.
The door to the lab hissed as it opened. His parents didn't hear his alarmed shout when he fell. They didn't see his struggling form take off the hood of his hazmat suit to spit blood in the dark, shadowy depths of their portal.
"All set!" his mother said as she wired in the final piece. "Turn it on, dear!"
"Banzai!" his dad shouted, flipping the switch.
An instant later, Danny found his voice, shouting through a gargle of blood, slurred from his wounded tongue.
"WAI'!" he screamed.
Then he screamed.
The bloodcurdling, bone chilling sound of their own child dying an excruciating death punctuated their lethal mistake. Millions of volts of electricity shot through their fourteen-year-old son, and billions of joules of ectoplasmic energy, compounding together, amplifying each other, ripping a hole into another dimension through the boy between them.
"Oh my God, Danny!" his mother shouted. "Turn it off! Turn it off!"
Shaking himself out of his horror, skin still tingling from the energy in the air and spots dancing behind his eyes from the bright white flash, Jack fumbled for the switch.
But it was too late.
The portal was on, self-sustaining. The lab was awash with green light from the swirling vortex of ectoplasm they had built, and the two parents held their breath.
A glowing corpse drifted out of it, floating as if on a gentle current.
Their son’s subdermal skin had been burnt and blackened by the heat. Jagged, glowing green electrical marks covered his whole body. Holes had been burnt right through his protective jumpsuit, and the hood was gone, and his hair was frayed, shock white, soot covered, and smoking. His eye sockets were empty, and full of ash, his face caked with blood, his teeth shattered.
But beneath it all, it was—it had been—their son.
"Danny..." his father breathed, gently resting a gloved hand on the floating body’s collapsed chest.
"What have we done?" his mother rasped, her voice choked with tears. "We—we have to fix this. We have to make this right."
Jack nodded, and though they did nothing to discuss how. They were both on the same page.
Carefully, they pulled the floating corpse of their son down to their examination table for samples.
If they were going to bring him back, they had to restore his body first.
Hours dwindled by, dinner time came and went, and Jack and Maddie grew neither tired nor hungry, consumed by their work. Late that night, the door opened at the top of the stairs. It was only as it slammed shut that the two of them heard it and realized Jazz must be coming down to check on them.
They shared a glance, then Maddie threw a sheet over the table while Jack crossed into the anteroom to place his bulky frame in front of the stairwell, blocking his daughter’s way in.
"Have you seen Danny?" she asked him.
"Danny's gone to sleep at a friend's house tonight, since we're going to be performing some dangerous experiments with the portal, and wouldn't want you kids getting hurt," her dad said. But she could always tell when he was lying, and she could tell now by the way his eyes darted around when he pushed off his hood. "We're very close to finishing it, so I suggest you find a friend to stay with tonight, too, for your safety. In fact, you may want to be out of the house for the rest of the week."
"What aren't you telling me?" Jazz asked, suspiciously.
“Not telling? Nothing—”
She backed up the steps so she could see through the window over her father's huge shoulders and noticed the swirling green portal on the opposite wall. "It's... already on..." she said, and her brain rapidly picked apart what her father had just said. "Dad... where's Danny?"
"Jasmine," he said sternly, but she pushed forward, trying to force him out of her way.
"Where's Danny?!" she shouted. Her parents were a lot of things, but liars wasn’t typically one of them, especially when it came to her and Danny. "What happened to him?! What did you do?!"
"Jazz...."
She had never seen her father cry before, but he was crying now as he wrapped his arms around her, as much to hold her in place as for his own comfort.
“What’s going on?” she asked again, a hard edge to her voice.
"We didn't know he was in there,” he whimpered into her hair. “Didn't hear anything… we didn’t know he was in there.”
She shook her head, uncomprehending, and tried to pull away, but wasn’t strong enough to escape her father’s vice-like grip until her mom came in and made him let go with a touch of her hand.
He stepped back a bit so Jazz could see them both. Their hoods were down, and on their faces all she could read was grief. "He... he's dead, Jazz," her mom said, audibly struggling to keep her voice level. "He was inside when the portal turned on, and we had no idea he was there until we heard him scream, and by then it was too late. We… we couldn't even recover a body."
Jazz could feel her chest tighten, her heart crawling up into her through, a sting in her eyes as her vision blurred. All of the physical sensations came first, before the emotion finally registered, and her legs turned to jelly beneath her as she collapsed back into her father’s arms wracked with sobs. Danny… her brother… was gone.
The three of them hugged and wept in the stairwell for hours before finally moving upstairs for some comfort food and hot cocoa. It was easy for Jazz to clock when her father was lying to her, but she never even suspected that her mother had lied, not until a little over a month later.
It wasn't suspicious that her parents threw themselves into their ghost research, working obsessively on some new project they wouldn't tell her about. People responded to grief in different ways. Focusing only on work was a common coping mechanism. One Jazz apparently shared, as she studied relentlessly for college entrance exams she wouldn't be taking for over a year.
She didn't bother to even ask about her parents' new project until they emerged from the lab, over the moon, excitedly proclaiming that they'd done it! That their experiments were successful.
"Done what?" Jazz asked, but she didn't have to wait for an answer.
Sitting on the couch in front of her, sipping hot cocoa from his favorite mug, sat Danny.
At first glance, he looked exactly the same, but looking at him closely, Jazz felt a sense of uncanny valley creeping up her spine. When he smiled, his teeth were too bright, too white. His eyes were wrong. They looked just the same as she remembered them, but they distinctly weren't in a way she couldn't describe until the light caught them at a certain angle and they glowed green.
"Danny?"
His eerie grin brightened.
When she stepped closer, she could see very faint white scars criss-crossing his skin, like lace, and dark shadows around his eyes that couldn't be explained by lack of sleep.
"Hey Jazz," he said. His voice was so very slightly deeper, huskier, that she thought she could be imagining it.
"Is that really you?" she asked.
"Yeah, I'm finally back from the hospital."
"Hospital?" Jazz asked, shaking her head in disbelief. "But—"
"Jazz, sweetie, can I talk to you for a moment?" her mother called from the kitchen. "Now."
Jazz obliged, following her mother into the kitchen, but the whole time she was looking over her shoulder at... whatever that thing was wearing her brother's face.
"Mom, what did you do?" She demanded under her breath. "You said he was dead. You said you couldn't even recover a body. What on Earth did you do?"
"We brought him back," Maddie answered. "You may call us crackpots, but your father and I are brilliant paranormal scientists. We used all our knowledge of ghosts and the afterlife to formulate a way to get our baby boy back. Wouldn't you have done the same to get your brother back if you could?"
"What? No!" Jazz shouted, then lowered her voice again, not wanting the creature that once was Danny to overhear and come to check things out. "No, Mom, I wouldn't. Jesus Christ, this is more than just a bad coping mechanism, this is—what you did—it's against nature. It's wrong."
"He's my son, Jazz," Maddie implored. "We couldn't... you can't possibly imagine what it's like for a parent, losing their child. It's like losing a part of our soul. Maybe someday, if you have kids of your own, you will, but it's... it's devastating, unbearable, more painful than you can even comprehend. And it was our fault, our experiment that killed him.”
Her voice stayed soft and level, but she was trembling, barely holding it together. She clenched her jaw and took a shuddering breath, looking Jazz directly in the eye.
"We couldn't let it go and move on when we had the means to fix it. He's fourteen, sweetie, and he's our baby. He never should have died in the first place. All we did was put things back the way they're supposed to be."
Jazz only stared in disbelief. "You're wrong," she said finally. "And soon enough, you'll realize that. This isn't going to change what happened. You may think you've fixed him, but it won't fix you."
"I'm sorry you feel that way," Maddie responded with a pinched frown. "Please don't take it out on Danny, and try to be civil with him."
"Of course I will," Jazz said. "He didn't ask for this. He shouldn't have to suffer because of your mistakes.” She turned to go, silence stretching taut between her and her mother. “I just hope you know what you're doing."

Here are my thoughts on each contestant so far (spoilers up to ep. 9). These are just my impressions of their roles in the limited context of the show, not as actual people.
- Lee Si-Won: The mad scientist! My favorite, though not necessarily my favorite to win. Sharp, strong-willed but loyal, and most of all, persistent. She and Seok-jin have incredible synergy. If the competition comes down to the two of them, though, I feel like she wouldn't have the heart to beat him...
- Ha Seok-jin: ...while he would have no such qualms. Crafty, independent, and observant, a real genius when it comes to scheming to an almost scary extent. He's definitely most at home in a "villain" role where he doesn't have to protect anyone. He and Si-Won give me the vibes of a natural talent and a hard worker teaming up instead of fighting over their differences.
- Seungkwan: Actually pretty interesting. Whether he intended to or not, he's the only one who has managed to strike a balance between being a threatening contestant and an exploitable one. He leans more towards the latter, but not to the extent that people are targeting him. In fact, everyone likes him a lot. That's an idol for you.
- Guillaume: Just smart in general. It was especially sly of him to play dumb throughout the first game. Seemed like an all-rounder. It wasn't his or really anyone's fault he got eliminated. His team just had to decide on a strategy early on that they weren't able to change later.
- Kim Dong-Jae: Very similar to Seok-jin. Schemers, the two of them. The main difference is that while Seok-jin is fine with keeping a tight circle or even flying solo, Dong-jae wanted to build trust with others. His fatal mistake during Secret Number was not committing to either closing ranks or cutting off contact with Seok-jin and Si-Woo. I'm very interested in what the writing test for this show was like, for him to be one of the two to get a perfect score.
- Lee Hye-sung: She didn't get to do much. I like that she trusted Dong-jae, but she was too trusting. I think she should've stood her ground and compared numbers with Yu-min first, then leveraged that information to ensure Dong-jae's loyalty. That might have helped Yu-min feel secure enough to not betray them later.
- Seo Yu-min: Way too dependent on others, though she seems to have taken the results of Secret Number to heart. She has the right idea about taking advantage of other people's sympathy for her, but the helpless act only works in the long term if it's just an act and not, you know, real. Also, Seungkwan has already filled the niche she wants. She should make more use of her greatest asset: Joon-bin, who clearly still feels guilty about Secret Number.
- Park Kyeong-rim: She's so sweet. If I had to choose, she's the one I'd want to meet in real life the most. But in the show, she's way too much of an open book and bleeding heart. I like that she's more cautious of Yu-min after Laying Grass, though that just means she'll divert more of her attention to helping Seungkwan.
- Kwak Joon-bin: He's funny because he talks a big game about wanting to turn traitor and cause chaos, but he's a huge softie who refuses to exploit weaker contestants. I don't think he's crafty enough to take down stronger opponents either. He's proven himself as an active participant in the games, which is really all it takes to not be marked as exploitable even if your most of his ideas go unused. But people don't trust him because of his big ol' mouth.
- Seo Dong-joo: Also smart in general, bold. The Si-won to Orbit's Seok-jin, kind of. She's more of Orbit's second-in-command than his partner, though that's only because Orbit is that much of a force of nature while she's content to play a supporting role. She's pretty loyal to Orbit, but she doesn't care that much about the others and only helps them because he does. Even then, she's been having doubts about him since Zoo. I think she could go head to head with Orbit if it comes down to the two of them.
- Orbit: Love him or hate him (looking at you, Si-won), he's incredibly influential. He's so much of a leader that it's kind of stifling. Extremely smart in a technical way, the best at coming up with group strategies based on actual game theory. This complements his "protect the weak" ideology, though that has been breaking down. He can't save everyone, even at the expense of the other team. I think he first realized that after Zoo and then truly accepted it during Laying Grass.
- Cho Yeon-woo: She was too passive, exploitable. But while Seungkwan is loveable and Yu-min is pitiable, she never found an approach that would make someone hesitate about targeting her. I wish she got the chance to show her strengths, but Seok-jin's robbery was frankly a brilliant move so I'm not that mad. I think she should've cozied up to Si-won more, especially by telling her about the safe. Seok-jin would've disapproved but Si-won would've stood up for her.

Julian personality styles brainrot. . .
so i was taking personality tests on behalf of julian devorak, as one does, and i thought this was actually kind of interesting.
disclaimer: while i believe this is pretty true to julian as a character, it's probably at least a little biased because i did answer based on how -> I <- see him, so it might not align with your opinion.
**also, any terms used in this are NOT talking about or diagnosing any disorder, just used as ways to describe a personality. this is a for fun test and isn't meant to be taken very seriously. (i.e., scoring "histrionic" does NOT mean this is a representation of hpd). ok? ok.
Tumblr media
the results i got (or the results that Julian got) were "Multiple Personality Styles," which basically means i either pressed "agree" too much or he has more than one equally prominent personality style. tied for first, as you can see in the image, are "histrionic" and "depressive". the idea that these two personality styles are expressed equally in julian is lowk funny to me, but also makes perfect sense. those two go hand in hand when it comes to his personality.
histrionic is defined as "overly theatrical or melodramatic in character or style"
depressive personality is related to traits that include (but are not limited to) nonassertiveness, gloominess, self-criticism, low self-esteem, guilt, and anxiety. depressive and histrionic seem to contradict a bit, but julian is a PTSD-ridden, depressed, flamboyant bisexual theater kid who loves people. that's a lot. and if anyone would have two strong personality styles concurrently, it's him.
his next highest is "masochistic" which is, well. yeah.
3rd place is hypomanic, hypomania being considered a milder version of mania (elevated mood or energy, overactivity, etc). this makes sense once again, since we know he can be restless and energetic, has consistent difficulty with sleep, and even worked so hard during the plague that he apparently didn't even notice his apprentice (potentially his love interest, depending on your interpretation), getting sick.
im not going to discuss everything on here, but i do want to define the 0% ones. Sadistic means hurting others and enjoying it, Narcissistic is inflated sense of pride (and a sensitive ego), Negativistic is opposing what other people say and do, and Schizoid is characterized with aloofness and being solitary. for all of these, - for the reason that julian is very sociable, selfless, and doesn't want to hurt a fly - 0% is the right level in my eyes.
so long story short. i just wanted to share these silly personality test results. it makes me understand why valdemar wanted to dissect julian's brain so much (though i will never support that). this was kind of a mess but really im just brainrotting and i don't post that often so 😭
here's the link for the quiz if you want to take it for yourself or even try to see if your Julian results match with mine !

Round 1 of 8, Group 5 of 8
Tumblr media Tumblr media
propaganda and summaries are under the cut (May include spoilers)
Kamen Rider W: 1.31 The Beast Must Be Persued / 1.32 Now, in the Radiance
A mob friend of Sokichi asks Shotaro to help him settle an old score and get what he came back to Futo for. / While under pressure of being abandoned by Philip as his Double partner for not keeping up, Shotaro tries to decipher the truth behind Bito's framing.
the show revolves around the idea of two person working together to become a one superhero entity (Kamen Rider W/Double), and this entire arc is about the hardest challenge in every relationship; what if one of us is changing and it's affecting our relationship? what would you do if that happen? would you go, would you stay? in this episode, there happens to be physical change between one half of the duo (Philip), leaving the other half (Shotaro) become incompatible to form as Kamen Rider W anymore. a mysterious entity suggested a thing to Philip; partnering with the more compatible guy, who happens to be their friend and a fellow Kamen Rider Accel, Ryu. would they reform W? or is this the end of W? Well, the answer is no, LOL. Philip considered that idea only to be shoved off immediately by Ryu. Shotaro, who was devastated with their previous battle (which they got lost terribly due to their incompatibility) decided to solve the current case all by himself, which didn't end well. He then were found by Philip who started to gave a speech who basically is just "fuck incompatibility. I want to be your partner. If that means we can't form W again, that's alright. when I choose you as a partner, that means I'm accepting not only your strength, but your flaw as well. why? because nobody's perfect*" *"nobody's perfect" was a message from Shotaro's mentor. it's actually meant for their client who took the blame of all of his friends' crimes and got sent to jail for several years. (the client asked the mentor, got sentenced, freed, returned to the detective agency cause the mentor told him he has something for him).the mentor's message is like a closure for all of things he had done for the sake of his friends. because nobody is perfect. Somehow, that message also fits the entire incompatibility narrative of the episode, and it's beautiful. so they return to fight the monster. are they still incompatible? of course. but they were so stubborn and keep fighting it, they could surpass it. thus, the main form was born, as they became more synchronized than before, and saved the day. so, for the question on the above, what is the answer for both Shotaro and Philip? they choose to stay and find a way to make it work. all of that shown on parallel with their current case's narrative, and if that's not the episode of all time, then idk what it is. idk if this could explain the episode enough, it's pretty complicated LMAO
Young Justice: 1.16 Failsafe
When the Justice League is defeated during an alien invasion, the Team has to step up and fill their mentors' shoes.
This episode genuinely rewired my brain when I watched it back in 2011. Like? It became clear by halfway through the episode that what is going isn't "real" because of course all those characters wouldn't have died, the whole plot wouldn't change like that, so it leaves the audience in a state of suspense of what's really going on. It's like an insidious feeling. Through this end of the world scenario we really see things in these characters that we wouldn't otherwise, things that disturb us. That Superboy would be willing to sacrifice his own life for others so easily without a second thought. That Robin would be so ready to let his friends & himself die. That Kidflash isn't even mad when he dies with Robin though he knows Robin planned it all along. And the gut punch at the end of the episode when you realize not only was it not real (which we predicted) but that the hallucination was because of MISS MARTIAN. The mental toll that this takes on her because she didn't mean to and the mental toll it takes on the other characters having to deal with this knowledge of themselves and their friends it just... ugh. There's great follow-up in the next episode, too, but in general I wish the show on a whole actually followed up on it better. Anyway great episode.

People often ask me about DnD classes for my OCs but I don't know jack nor squat about DnD classes. So I took the DnD quiz for all of them to see which they'd actually fit!
tl;dr Dove is straight-up Monk (with Cleric and Paladin as runner-ups), Srentha is also Monk (but with Bard as a close second), Leyla is again a Monk (with heavy Wizard leanings), and Evangeline kept tying but I'll call her Sorceror because that was consistently the highest tied score (but she also scored high for Barbarian and Warlock).
Dove:
100% Monk, and I think it fits her quite nicely!
"The monk is a disciplined warrior of mind, body, and spirit, embodying harmony, self-mastery, and enlightenment. They are ascetics who have devoted themselves to a life of rigorous training and spiritual discipline, seeking to transcend the limitations of the mortal realm. Monks harness the power of ki, an inner energy that flows through all living beings, enabling them to perform extraordinary feats of agility, speed, and resilience. Through meditation and martial arts, they achieve a state of inner peace and focus, allowing them to unleash their full potential in combat. Monks often follow a code of ethics or philosophy, which guides their actions and shapes their worldview. Whether serving as humble protectors of their monastic order, wandering philosophers seeking enlightenment, or righteous warriors defending the innocent, monks embody the virtues of balance, discipline, and inner strength."
Tumblr media
Srentha:
Also got Monk, but was SO close to getting Bard! (And from what I hear, Bard is a good class for his eccentric and entertaining friend-making self.) He seems to be the most balanced among different class characteristics so far.
Tumblr media
Leyla:
Okay, all of my Azarathean characters are getting Monk and I'm laughing. The core tenet of their belief system is peace, okay. Meditation and mindfulness are parts of the package deal. But Wizard was a close second for her!
Tumblr media
Kary:
If she doesn't get Druid, I will be amazed. That's the nature class, right? Forests and animals are Kary's Things.
Okay, color me amazed? Kary got Barbarian with 95% and Druid was only 70!
"The barbarian is a primal force of nature, embodying raw strength, unbridled fury, and untamed wilderness. They are warriors who eschew the trappings of civilization, preferring instead to embrace their innate instincts and physical prowess. Barbarians are driven by a deep connection to their primal roots, drawing strength from the untamed landscapes they call home. Their rage is both a weapon and a shield, fueling their ferocity in battle while also providing a means of survival in harsh environments. Despite their outward appearance of savagery, barbarians often possess a keen intuition and a strong sense of loyalty to their tribes or companions. They are fierce defenders of their homeland and fiercely independent individuals, embodying the wild spirit that courses through their veins. In essence, the barbarian is a primal guardian of the natural world, embodying the untamed essence of the wilderness itself."
And you know what, that's actually PERFECT for her.
Just for fun, I want to see what Evangeline would get, perhaps one of the only characters I've ever written that lands solidly in the Evil alignment:
Evangeline:
...Hm, apparently when you get multiple results, you don't get to read what the tied classes are.
She tied for Warlock and Sorcerer, both at 95%.
Tumblr media
So I retook it, tweaked some results, and somehow STILL got her tied, this time between Barbarian and Sorcerer, both at 90%.
So I can't get a description, but I'm going to assume Sorcerer for her.
Tumblr media
Is sorcerer a good class for someone who's selfish, hedonistic, driven by fury, and ferociously loyal to those she considers friends?

On bimbo harems:
Doesn't even need the bimbofication to reach that point, you get the same scenario in normal porn.
For bimbofication scenarios to be good they have to focus on the fact that the characters were changed by bimbofication, and the contrast between their old personality and their new exaggerated body, extreme sex drive, sluttier personality, possible IQ changes.
If you can cut out the pre-TF part of a bimbofication story and you can't tell from the remaining parts that it's bimbofication, it's useless.
/d/, 2021.
On IQ:
IQ tests are usually based on linguistic, spatial and mathematical intelligence, as well as logic puzzles. It's pretty common that people who're bad at these things have good intuition, social intelligence, musical intelligence, visual intelligence or what have you.
Whether or not you have cognitive impairments is decided not by an IQ test score, but by whether you are functional or not.
Someone with an IQ test result of 69 could be hopelessly inarticulate, their head might swim at simple multiplication or they might not be able to grok rotating 3D objects, but this does not mean they're not fun to be around, kind, well-socialized, with talent for art and with common sense.
Conversely, you could have someone with an IQ of 118 who's rotten at interpersonal cues, who has an aggressive and suspicious personality, who has no eye for beauty and who doesn't care for or about other people.
It's number 2 who'll be living in a dump and coming off as an actual retard and not number 1.
Intelligence is really wide, but seeing as it's mainly low linguistic and mathematical intelligence that gets people off here, you see a lot of low IQ scores [in bimbo transformation sequences].
/d/, 2019.
On IQ-2:
What I'm trying to say is that you can have someone who's "bimbo stupid" without actually having a retard who can't wipe their own ass, because low IQ doesn't necessarily suggest low functionality.
There's measurable intelligence and there's practical intelligence, and I think the perfect combination is someone who's dumb as a bag of sand but still has enough positive qualities and competences to be a functional adult if only by the skin of their teeth.
/d/, 2019.
On IQ-3:
IQ measuring is hard to do in a scientifically responsible way due to fundamental differences in conception of intelligence and the immense variation in practical intelligence not just down to the individual but also the situation.
Add to that the instinctive human desire of "Grug have bigger brain than you", and you have a volatile cocktail where no one even agrees what it is they're actually supposed to be studying.
/d/, 2019.
On intelligence loss:
I really like emphasizing the loss of intelligence as that has been the one consistent aspect of the fetish in writings about it going back over twenty years now. Though I personally like portraying it in a more cute fashion, I'm usually taken out of the writing when they start talking like cavemen instead of valley girls. I've written both "cartoonishly dumb" and "realistically dumb" bimbos and I love both. When writing the latter I usually end up making their personalities a little meaner, not always cruel but definitely less considerate, and make sure to emphasize a growing interest in vapid things. Though it's not uncommon for both versions to come out saccharine sweet trophy wives. The cartoonish camp is often written with an awareness of their stupidity while the realistic camp is not.
/d/, 2021.
On the portrayal of stupidity:
I do like the dumb bimbo stereotype, but more like "you got the answer wrong but you did all the math right" dumb. Like capital of Texas is T dumb. Stupid, but understandable.
/d/, 2021.
On writing bimbospeak:
Avoid words with more then two syllables, use slang whenever possible, always use sexual innuendos and slang where possible, you seem to have the California valley twang accent in mind already which is good.
/d/, 2021.
On bimbo appearance:
Fake/Big tits are not required for a bimbo you goddamned coomer. It’s part of the core aesthetic but it’s not REQUIRED. Just like a tomboy doesn’t need to be muscular or have short hair, it’s about the soul of the thing… the essence of bimbosity.
/tv/, 2022.
On the appeal of fake tits:
It's a perverse act, they're obviously fake and cartoonish turning them into living sex dolls. It's all about self destructive decadence. I dunno how else to explain it.
/tv/, 2020.
On interacting with/picking up bimbos:
Contrary to popular belief, it's actually not that hard, nor it requires some special amounts of money or high status. Sure, these things help, but that applies for all women. Bimbos are still somewhat of a no-no in society eye's and are usually happy for an actual honest interest beyond their looks. I would even go that far and say that bimbos are easier to get for relationship if you know what you are doing. Also from experience, these girls are usually more direct, honest but also with way more drama.
I used to fuck a lot of bimbo hookers in Singapore. They love chit chatting. You treat them human and their eyes light back up.
/tv/, 2020.

I don't know if you remember it, but on my first day in this school, I said it was important for me that my students were honest with me. It's been more than two years, but nothing has changed since then. Maybe it sounds sentimental, but I've become a teacher not only for the reason I like history. If it were so, I would keep working at the museum.
I've become the one, because teaching allows me to use an individual approach to each of my students and I have always strived to communicate with other people so as to be helpful to them. And you know, the fact I managed to help you as a boy who had misunderstandings with his father means a lot more to me than that you got the highest score among your classmates for the latest history test. Although I won't deny it's actually a nice thing as well.
~Valerio Álvarez
***
Valerio is a history school teacher. At first glance he seems like a very warm, outgoing, optimistic, and kind person, and he is. The main reason he’s become a teacher is because he’s always strived to inspire other people, guide them, help them to fulfill their potential, and see themselves from the best perspective possible, and his gift for understanding other people’s feelings helps him in that.
Valerio is wise, open-minded, innovative, adventurous, and curious as he sees the world as a tight knot of wonders and meanings. He travelled a lot, and one of the purposes of his adventures was not only understand himself better but also to discover the new things and learn something new. He’s responsible, good at planning, and prefers sticking to the schedule.
Sounds too perfect, doesn’t it? Unless you learn about his past. It’s veiled in mystery, and to put it literally he wears gloves to hide his hands that are covered with the burn scars (he has them all over his body) that he's gotten as a result of the fire accident (or maybe it wasn't an accident?). But he doesn’t hide his scars, he hides how he got them, since in his past he’s done something that he’s absolutely ashamed of and doesn’t want anyone to know it. He’s afraid of anyone revealing his secret, and once anybody gets close enough to expose it, his dark side comes out.
He’s indecisive, unyielding, and prideful as he never listens to anyone’s advice and thinks he knows better what to do. The fact he’s good at reading people helps him to inspire them, but it also helps him to play with their feelings to direct them against themselves - he’s manipulative.
Although to soften the edges, Valerio is also scared of being a burden, which makes him keep his feelings to himself to the point of exhaustion, because he doesn’t want to bother anyone with his problems and also because he’s deeply attached to people. He had a close relationship with his late mother and late wife, and when he lost them, those periods of his life were the most directionless to him because he didn’t know what to do and who he was without them.
The main ideas I want to convey through his character:
A character with the dark past who tries to stay positive and kind to others.
A character stuck in his past but from a bit different perspective: he’s not captured by the thoughts about his past - he ignores his past and runs away from his fears, which doesn’t allow him to accept it and move forward.
A character who strives to help others but is damaged himself.
His hobbies include history, painting, and chess. He’s also into attending exhibitions and galleries and used to write poetry. He has a deep passion for the sea and sailing (especially when he was younger) since he was born in a city near the ocean and could spend his all days swimming and playing beach games.
His appearance is also worth mentioning. When he was younger, he had long hair, loved jewelry, and preferred wearing loose shirts, as he was a lively, cheerful, and adventurous guy. Once he got older, went through trauma, and lost basically everyone he loved, his preferences changed. His main color is black now, he wears gloves on daily basis and buttons his shirt up to the top button to prevent anyone from seeing his scars. It might make him seem like a distant and aloof person if you randomly meet him on the street but this image crashes as soon as he starts talking, given how warm and outgoing he is.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bonus!
A little writing piece I made for him but never shared until now haha. I think it's good for the vibes~
Valerio is the sun covered by clouds. He keeps shining, breaking through the dark cold veil to warm everyone with his soft rays.
Valerio is a candle left without control. A harmless gleam sparkling into an indomitable fire.
Valerio is a whirlpool. The meeting of conflicting currents raging from deep within as nobody can see it on the surface.
Valerio is an eagle. A proud majestic being in need to spread his broken wings to fly high.

We went to our first show on Friday!
The pony was good, rider mediocre and it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. I think we started with a too high of a height and we’re just over faced and struggling the whole time. We did the .7-.75 and we just have to be so perfect at that height and I just couldn’t do for that many jumps in a row. It didn’t help that there was a lot of confusion about when to go schooling first and then going back and then being told oh you’re going soon oh just kidding it’s still like an hour. So I think I had a tired and sleepy and over it pony even before we started.
She still listened super well and tried her best for me and I’m very proud of her. I was tense and scared and sucked back at all of the jumps especially on the first round. So we had a refusal in the first round, but we’re able to get it the second times
The second round was longer but I did my best to really push her around although we fell more to the running side than the forward and energetic side. And we had two rails. But still our best one.
And then for our third course we had another refusal at that same jump from the first round. And then didn’t get it on the second time and so we’re eliminated. Which was a really bad way to end the day and made me feel like I set my pony up for failure.
There were still some good jumps in there and she really did try her best for me. It was just a long tiring day at a height that’s challenging for us and I really should have started with the .6s. I had asked my trainer the week before if I should do the .6 or .7s and she said if just do the .7s, .6 is so so small. But then when she would talk about who was what doing what she kept saying I was doing the .6s. So idk maybe that got in my head a bit. Andy friend kept being like oh you should just do the .7s. That’s what we’ve been doing in lessons. And lesson course had been going well.
But you should really jump lower at shows especially your first together so I’m feeling bad about my choices. Not the actual riding so much because I think me and my horse both have our best efforts. But the height decision and all of the warm up and schooling decisions. So hard to feel good about that. And it means we didn’t place in any of the classes. Which is fine, but I did really want a ribbon to commemorate the day. And it’s just nice to have something to take home to show for your work. I wish they gave out score sheets. I’d feel better about a last place score sheet than nothing.
But it’s a multi day show and Sunday we dropped down to the .6m and I feel good about that. I just want to give me and the 13.3h pony a little bit more room for error and a hopefully a better round. And if it goes really well we can add one .7-.75 m class. And tomorrow I know that I don’t want to school before hand, I’ll just do a short warm up and hopefully all of that will result in a better day

The Porygon Family
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now this may quite be the most unique and strange Pokemon of the original 151. Porygon here is a Normal type, and said to be completely artificial, developed by the in-universe megacorp Silph Co. It was somehow born in computer programs and translated seamlessly into real life, and is just as sentient and alive as any other Pokemon. It’s said to be completely made of code, and nobody really knows how it lives, since it’s without a heartbeat and doesn’t even breathe. It somehow even travels freely between reality and cyberspace.
It’s never even precisely explained why people decided to create Porygon back in the day. Apparently they did it just because they could. That certainly bodes well.
It’s really amusing that Porygon is an extremely low-poly model, common in games back in the mid-90s when Pokemon was released. Porygon almost resembles a rubber duck in its anatomy, something made clearly in its more high-definition upgrade.
Tumblr media
Once Porygon is given a disc containing several development patches, it evolves into the aptly named Porygon2. Containing a dozen times as many polygons, Porygon2 looks even more like a rubber duck, and is animated in the 3D games to bob listlessly like a drinky bird. Adorable.
Porygon2 was said to be developed in order to travel into space on interplanetary expeditions, but sadly didn’t manage to live up to expectations in reality. The poor thing can’t even fly properly.
Still, Porygon2 is a pretty impressive display of the technological capabilities in the Pokemon universe. The upgrade was said to give Porygon2 a proper AI, and it enjoys studying new things and analyzing as much information as it can. It even is capable of developing new mannerisms that weren’t originally programmed into it, which is just delightful. I’m glad that if the Pokemon universe was able to develop a sentient, self-operating AI they put it in a cartoon duck body to make it absolutely charming and goofy in demeanor.
Tumblr media
Then, the fourth generation added Porygon-Z to the family. After space exploration failed, the obvious next step was to try exploring alien dimensions (which are completely real in Pokemon, by the way), but apparently something went horribly wrong, leading to this more unusual and distinctly differently designed Porygon.
That’s not all, though. While the item used to evolve Porygon to Porygon2 is mentioned to be an official upgrade produced by Silph Co., the Dubious Disc used to evolve Porygon2 into Porygon-Z is explicitly mentioned to not have been developed by Silph Co., and instead by some shady third-party company who cracked Porygon’s code. This resulted in Porygon-Z becoming a horribly glitchy mess of a Pokemon, something I am also delighted to see brought to life in the games. It would be fun to see Porygon-Z with error textures or faces breaking on its model, but I suppose there’s only so much they can do intentionally. It twitches erratically during its idle animation on occasion, at least.
I do like how the glitchiness of Porygon-Z is conveyed by its odd design, though. It may look pretty different from Porygon2 at first, but you can actually tell how they used to be the same creature. Porygon-Z’s body seems to be rotated on the wrong axis, with its arms stuck out like a T-posing model. Even the ‘horn’ on its head is actually its old neck, meaning Porygon-Z’s head got flipped upside-down in the corruption process. Wild!
Tumblr media
(I wish there was a higher res scan of this card...)
When you think about it, Porygon-Z is another really disturbing, genuinely sickly Pokemon along the lines of Weezing, only due to its more cartoonish, digital model nature, it’s not as apparent. Porygon2 was on the path to HD success, and all the trainers who decided to evolve it into Porygon-Z went and infected its body with terrible malware that ended up horrifically malforming its body. The poor thing’s even been driven mad by looking into alternate dimensions, just look at its wild yellow eyes.
Score: 5/5 - PERFECT!
Tumblr media
Having digital Pokemon in-universe which somehow transferred over to the real world is such an excellent idea, and their evolutionary path makes for one of the more interesting Pokemon family histories to boot.

Rings of power - some thoughts
So like a lot of fantasy nerds I have been watching Rings of Power. I've followed the commentary back and forth from the racist reactions to the "it's destroying Tolkien" rants to "they're ruining my childhood." complaints.
Anyway I decided that while I think the series is deeply flawed, there a whole set of things I really like about it, so I'm going to put them out there to try and put some positivity on the internet.
Galadriel - she's not a perfect character by any means, but she's got lots of room to grow and develop, which is always a positive. One of the opening shots of her climbing the ice also looked amazing!
Tumblr media
Arondir - I was very unsure of this guy initially, but I actually think he's brilliant. He looks incredible in the fights and his romance that's not quite a romance with Brownyn is the definition of a slow burn. I LOVE IT!
Tumblr media
Brownyn and her son Theo - A set of characters that are difficult to get right, but I think the writing of both them has got better and better as the series has gone. Brownyn is seriously bad ass, some of her fights are epic in scale!! Theo has actually matured as a result of everything he's had to go through. I really hope that these two and Arondir survive, I'm v invested in this little family.
Tumblr media
The numenorians arrive on middle earth - I admit their arrival to take down the orcs absolutely hits the spot for me. I love cavalry charges and this is a wonderful scene (the score is truly massive in scale too, it's as if you're there with them, just fabulous). Not only does it look great, but you absolutely buy Galadriel as a commander charging to the rescue at the head of the army with Halbrand close behind :)
Halbrand - He intrigues me as a character, dysfunctional and damaged and terribly mysterious :) And he has fabulous hair and looks great in armour and on horse back. This sword trick is really cool too. He has also got great whump potential *coughs*
Tumblr media
Adar and the orcs - the series acknowledges the tragic origin of the orcs and how they in some ways can't help what they are. What would anyone be if they were formed from torture and agony. I'm not exactly sympathetic, but they're more understandable. It makes Adar a more interesting character as a result.
Tumblr media
Elendil - he gets a special mention for having to deal with all the crazy in Numenor and keeping it together in a silly helmet :)
Tumblr media
Elrond and Durin - I love this friendship, when Durin shouts "You missed my wedding!" my heart broke for them. For me this is one of the best relationships of the series.
Tumblr media
Disa - she gets a point all her own because she has great hair and jewellery and a gorgeous outfit. Her singing voice is almost ethereal in quality too. She is also an ideal match for Durin and gets some of the best dialogue "That's mighty strong gravy" makes me smile :)
Tumblr media
The dwarves in general - while the way they are portrayed isn't necessarily "true to tolkien" (I don't know enough Tolkien law to comment on this one way or the other). I would argue that you absolutely convinced by them as a race, a people with a world all their own in the series.
Tumblr media
That's it really, we'll have to wait to see what the finale brings!

Flanagan says the success of Fisk highlights how a lot Australian audiences like seeing their very own locations and tales on tv. “That mentioned, there’s numerous strain on to create content material sturdy sufficient to compete with all the opposite stuff that’s on the market,” she says. “Whereas Australian audiences will at all times offer you a good go and take a look at an Australian-made present, they gained’t stick round when you serve up garbage.” Becoming a member of Flanagan once more on the Gruber & Gruber workplaces are fellow comics Julia Zemiro, Marty Sheargold and Aaron Chen – together with some favorite “visitors” within the type of Glenn Robbins, Stephen Curry, Denise Scott and Marg Downey. compatibility — rb! gojo satoru.
[ summary. ] in which suguru takes every opportunity to get under your boyfriends skin—this time, using a silly compatibility test. [ contents. ] rich boy! gojo, college! au, established relationships, gn! reader, fluff n slight crack fic ngl lolllll [ notes. ] i haven’t written in over 2 months and this is a stupid idea but pls take it for now and i swear i will write something more interesting soon
Tumblr media Tumblr media
for almost as long as you’ve dated satoru, you’ve also known suguru—and in that time frame, if there’s one thing you’ve learned about your boyfriend’s childhood friend, it’s that he’s an instigator. a really, really big handful of an instigator…and that usually results in a pouty satoru.
quite unfortunately for you, dealing with a pouty satoru almost always leads to a fierce headache. and today, more unfortunately for you, suguru happens to scroll past a love compatibility test advertisement.
right here. right now. right when he’s with the both of you, and right where he can get under satoru’s skin.
“hey, did you know according to this test, you and i are actually a better match than you and satoru?”
you blink at suguru as he speaks to you, feeling the oncoming throb of a migraine as satoru sits up straighter, instantly furrowing his eyebrows in confusion. for a moment, you think you’d rather have your tuition doubled this semester than deal with whatever schemes suguru is clearly up to.
“wha—and just what does that mean?” satoru challenges, crossing his arms as he raises a brow, “what test?” there’s a certain twinkle in suguru’s eyes that you don’t like—a twinkle that tells you satoru is taking the bait exactly how he’s expected to.
“well…” suguru trails off with a smirk, shrugging as he casually says, “never mind, actually. it’s silly anyway. no one really believes in these old things—”
“no, no,” satoru insists, glaring at his best friend. you have to question just how good of a friend suguru really is for a moment before you watch as satoru motions with his hand to see the phone in the other’s hold. “let me see—you’re probably doing it all wrong.”
“i’m not,” suguru snickers, “the results clearly show that my name is much more compatible than yours, see?” you blink once, then twice, and then scowl as you click your teeth in irritation at the words that leave his mouth—he can’t possibly be teasing satoru with a name test of all things.
“are you kidding me?” you ask in exasperation, giving suguru a sharp stare that he only wriggles his brows at, “you’re basing compatibility off of our names?”
“hey, it was just for fun,” he gasps in mock innocence, “i didn’t think you and i would be more compatible by…let’s see…oh! ten whole percent!”
and suguru, because he’s persistent in causing problems, is strategic enough to emphasize that last part to get a rise out of satoru. it’s most definitely working too—because you look over and see satoru’s face twist in utter disbelief as he snatches the phone out of his best friend’s hands. (once again, you can’t help but question why they get along as well as they do.)
“you definitely spelled our names wrong, you illiterate jackass,” satoru grumbles, “there’s no way anyone but me would be a good match—wait. what do you mean we only got seventy seven perfect?”
suguru looks over at you smugly—the seeds have been planted, and they’re starting to sprout rather quickly. “and now look at my name,” he adds deviously, “it got a higher score.”
it’s very clear he’s telling the truth because just one look, and satoru is deflated. utterly glum and completely crestfallen as he looks at you and whispers, “you and suguru got eighty seven percent?”
“satoru,” you sigh tiredly, “baby, you can’t possibly believe these things are—”
he cuts you off without even listening. “suguru is an uglier name, anyway! why does it have a higher compatibility?”
“oh yeah? my name quite literally means excellent.”
“oh, spare me! the only thing you’re excellent at is having ugly ass bangs—”
“as if you have room to speak. that mess on your head looks like you haven’t showered in two months—”
“oh trust me, i shower plenty. i have a witness too, if you don’t believe me,” satoru pauses to gesture at you for a moment before looking at you hopefully, “baby, tell suguru you shower with me all the time!”
“what the hell, satoru,” you hiss, shrinking in embarrassment as suguru snorts.
“i didn’t hear a confirmation,” suguru teases, earning you a petulantly betrayed look from your boyfriend as he crosses his arms.
“just tell him!”
“toru, quit being a baby,” you roll your eyes, wrapping an arm around him as he slumps against you, “he’s just trying to get you mad.”
“well it’s working,” satoru huffs, glaring over at a pair of amused brown eyes before he grunts, “and why’s he testing his compatibility with you anyway?”
“to prove i’m the better option, of course,” suguru cuts in. you rub your temple as satoru whines out a dramatic, baby tell him to stop!
“i don’t think i’m compatible with either of you,” you mutter, “you’re both the same brand of insufferable.
—————— bonus ——————
“wait, what if we try it with toru instead?” satoru brightens at his own idea as he starts to type, “that’ll definitely get a one hundred.”
the three of you stare at the screen as it loads—as soon as you see the whopping twelve percent, you feel satoru wither against you.
“see? my name is just way better,” suguru grins.
“suguru is the most unmoanable name ever,” satoru hisses.
you purse your lips, shaking your head as you consider if even triple tuition could be worse than this.
Tumblr media
this idea came to me bc my sister and i were talking about our elementary school crushes and how we used to do those stupid tests where you type your names and they give you the compatibility percentages LOL. my 2nd grade crush matthew and i were 92% compatible i was on cloud nine

Best Destiny 2 expansions, ranked
Tumblr media
Welcome to the purely subjective recreation of what's the greatest Future 2 enlargement. I’m going to rank all of the Future 2 expansions from greatest to worst and also you’ll agree or disagree. Let’s get into it!
All Future 2 expansions ranked greatest to worst
To clear the air, I’ll begin by stating my bias, as a result of all of us have one. I performed Future 1 and Future 2 what felt like lifetimes in the past, bounced off, and got here again with The Witch Queen. Since then, I’ve performed Past Gentle and Lightfall. I’ve but to play Forsaken and Shadowkeep, however this listing will include my private desire combined with group consensus so that you get probably the most correct illustration of the place every Future 2 enlargement lies. Associated: Greatest Unique Weapons in Future 2 This listing accommodates solely the key expansions in Future 2 as these are the one ones at present out there. - The Witch Queen - Forsaken - Lightfall - Past Gentle - Bungie thirtieth Anniversary Pack - Shadow hold The Witch Queen
Tumblr media
Picture: Bungie Once I first performed by means of The Witch Queen, I believed the truth that I used to be returning to Future 2 after a very long time swayed me into loving the enlargement, however that wasn’t the reality. The reality is The Witch Queen is one of the best Future 2 enlargement up to now due to its tight storytelling, lovely location, and progressive new gameplay options. The Witch Queen options among the greatest story missions up to now in Future 2 and introduced Gentle 3.0 which revamped Photo voltaic, Arc, and Void. If I needed to suggest anybody to purchase one Future 2 enlargement, it could be The Witch Queen. Forsaken
Tumblr media
Picture: Bungie Although I've but to play it, Forspoken is many OG Future 2 gamers’ favourite enlargement. The story is likely one of the greatest advised and many individuals like it as a result of it introduced in new sturdy Unique weapons and armor and stuck quite a lot of points with the sport. If you wish to see the story of Cayde-6 earlier than entering into The Closing Form, you should expertise Forsaken. I might wait til it goes on sale, because it usually does, earlier than getting Forsaken. Lightfall
Tumblr media
Picture: Bungie Lightfall will get a foul rap as a result of everybody anticipated Bungie to ship an unbelievable enlargement the scale and scale of The Witch Queen however Lightfall fell brief. I feel it’s higher than individuals give it credit score for, however I do admit that the story is likely one of the weakest, that includes heartless moments and utter confusion. What redeems Lightfall for me is Strand — it’s probably the most enjoyable Subclass to date — and Neomuna which is a beautiful metropolis with an incredible tone. Additionally, I feel quite a lot of the missions are enjoyable even when the guts of the story is missing. Associated: Greatest Strand Fragments in Future 2, ranked Past Gentle
Tumblr media
Picture: Bungie Past Gentle isn’t a foul Future 2 enlargement; I’d say it’s simply common. Europa is a effective map and the story itself is best than Lightfall, though the missions aren’t as enjoyable. The perfect half about Past Gentle is getting Stasis, however till lately, unlocking it and all of the Points and Fragments was an enormous grind. Due to that, individuals don’t suppose again too fondly on Past Gentle. Bungie thirtieth Anniversary Pack
Tumblr media
Picture: Bungie Bungie’s thirtieth Anniversary Pack isn’t as stuffed with an enlargement because the others on this listing. All it did was have a good time 30 years of Bungie by giving gamers who purchased the pack the Gjallarhorn Unique Rocket Launcher which remains to be among the finest within the recreation, actually good weapons impressed by Halo, the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon, and a group of armors. Sadly, this not-so-expansive enlargement is best than Shadowkeep, which says loads. Shadowkeep
Tumblr media
Picture: Bungie Shadowkeep is agreed to be one of many worst expansions in Future 2 historical past, and that’s due to its brief and underwhelming story, recycled areas, and introduction of spreading story and actions throughout 4 quarterly Seasons. Whereas Shadowkeep was grindy and lackluster, it gave us some nice Unique weapons and armor which are nonetheless within the meta rotation at the moment, together with Leviathan’s Breath, Witherhoard, Divinity, and Murderer’s Cowl. What's your favourite Future 2 enlargement? Are you excited or nervous for The Closing Form? Personally, I can’t wait. Till then, discover ways to get the Want-Keeper Unique Strand Bow by finishing the Starcrossed Unique mission. Read the full article
