combining @frogswithwings tag for Last Seven Sentences meme and @midnightprelude tag for Six Sentence Sunday meme xD so here’s the last seven sentences written for pt. 2 of Light in the Dark. what’s a more pressing issue, a pending qunari invasion or re-catching feelings for your former boo.

“One crisis at a time,” Cullen grumbled. Because that’s what it was, really--a crisis. Cullen’s feelings for Dorian crashed back over him like waves against a rocky coast, threatening to sweep him back out with the tide and drown him. Two years worth of efforts to put his relationship with Dorian behind him had been washed away just like that. But it was a crisis he nor anyone else had no time for, or that he wished for anyone to prod into--or even know about at all if he could help it. Not that he was being very discrete between the hand holding and the longing looks he couldn’t stop casting in Dorian’s direction, and the now fully formed smirk Leliana was sporting told him as much.

Cullen glowered as convincingly as possible as he swept by her and out of the room.

Red-Warden’s OCs: Hero of Ferelden

Inspired by: @dickeybbqpit ‘s post, check out the Wardens of her world states! 

Worldstate 1: Blue Surana. "The Ghost Warden”

Basics: silence and duty and eccentricity. Jack-of-all-trades mage (knows spells from each school of magic but specializes in Elemental magic, especially fire [her fire burns blue]). Arcane Warrior/ Battle Mage (temporarily Spirit Healer during Blight). Weapon of choice: swords preferably one-handed (Spellweaver) though can wield 2-handed (Yusaris). Greyromantic -Grey Sexual, Mutual pining for Sten. 

Physical: age 18, 5′4, petite frame and androgynous body-shape, royal blue eyes, snow white hair bobbed w/ straight-across bangs, expressionless face, silver face tattoos, recovers quickly from injuries and has high tolerance for pain. Extremely affected by the taint and grows increasingly blighted through the years following Blight.

Psychological: stoic, resilient, fearless, generally silent but when she speaks her voice is toneless; has difficulty identifying/expressing her feelings and reading feelings of others, highly intuitive, strong analytical skills, mysterious, painful sensitivity to loud sounds/bright lights; fidgets and paces often, generally has an aversion to physical touch; True Neutral

Decisions: Saves Circle of Magi, Saves Redcliffe, Saves Connor (with help of mages), Ascends Bhelen, Brokers peace with Dalish/Werewolves, Preserves the Ashes, Conscripts Loghain, Alistair marries Anora, Slays Archdemon (survives), Kills the Architect, Saves the Keep and Amaranthine, asked for Circle autonomy after 5th Blight

Relationships: Max approval with all companions due to her distant but non-judgmental disposition (and lots of gifts). They all respect her as a leader but generally keep their distance. Her only close friend is Leliana (and technically Sten). Recruits Shale, does all companion quests. Alistair was infatuated with her until she spared Loghain. Main parties: [Sten, Leliana, anyone] [Anders, Nathaniel Howe, Justice]

Background: City elf from Amaranthine Alienage, taken to Circle at age 4, orphaned by bandits, parents gave her face tattoos because they wanted to give her to the Dalish when her magic emerged but never made it to the clan. Modern AU she’s Isreali coded and diagnosed high-functioning Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Faceclaim: Shani Zigron

Worldstate 2: Isseya Mahariel . "The Mother Bear Arlessa”

Basics: sternness and skill and pride. Longbow Archer, Ranger who mainly summons her great bear ‘Coco’, but occasionally her blight wolf ‘Blight’. Knows basics of Assassin specialization from Zevran’s tutoring. Heterosexual, Zevran Romance. 

Physical: age 19, 5′7, broad shoulders and lean muscular build, forest green eyes, dark skin and golden Vallaslin, dark thin dreadlocks tied into ponytail, wears make-up, strikingly beautiful but often looks annoyed/disapproving

Hero Hairstyles 

Psychological: disciplined, cautious but unafraid, strict, blunt, job-oriented and responsible, impatient but not impulsive, prone to yelling, prideful and confident, high-strung and tends to micromanage, generally unsentimental but has a big soft spot for children (very much wants her own), Type A born-leader, pack-animal who doesn’t do well in solitude, alcoholic tendencies; Lawful Neutral

Decisions: Saves Redcliffe, Saves Connor (Jowan sacrifices Isolde), Recruits Templars, Ascends Bhelen, Sides with with Dalish/Kills Werewolves (then Kills Zathrian), Preserves the Ashes, Executes Loghain, Anora rules alone, Alistair stays unhardened Warden, Slays Archdemon (survives), Kills the Architect, Saves Amaranthine, asked for lands/title after Blight (is Teryn of Gwaren and gave some of the lands to Dalish)

Relationships: Max approval with Zevran, Oghren, Morrigan, and Sten. Disliked by Wynne and Alistair, Leliana is indifferent to her. She only considers Oghren her friend/family though (Morrigan was like a sister to her till she left and did not write) and drinks with him often. Tends to assume boss-and-underlings attitude and doesn't generally want to get “friendly” with her subordinates. Did not recruit Shale, gave ‘Dog’ to Oghren’s wife Felsi after the 5th Blight. Did not sleep with Zevran until after Awakening.  Main parties: [Oghren, Zevran, Morrigan] [Velanna, Oghren, Sigrun]

Background: Dalish but feels no kinship to her old clan or to The People after Tamlen’s death, does not believe in elven gods but respects their culture. Parents are from Rivain; in Modern AU she is Kenyan-Japanese mix coded with predominantly Kenyan culture.  Faceclaim: Jhene Aiko

Worldstate 3: Alyss Amell . "The Bleeding Dove”

Basics: sweetness and hope and tears. Entropy and Creation mage who is generally unskilled at every other kind of magic, but becomes an exceptionally talented Spirit Healer and proficient Blood Mage. Biromantic -Demisexual (w/ preference for women), Leliana Romance. 

Physical: age 21, 5′2, tiny waif-like build pale blue eyes often wide and worried-looking, light ashy brown hair with feathery bangs, hair reaches down to shoulder blades and is usually tied back with pink ribbon (or whatever substitute she can find), ‘resting sad face’, wallflower vibe

Hero Hairstyles

Psychological: kind but timid, painfully shy, hopeful but sensitive to disappointment, no self-confidence, cries easily, prone to bouts of overwhelming sadness, tends to develop crushes on anyone nice to her, has an affinity for sweets and books, devout Andrastian but anti-chantry; Chaotic Good 

Decisions: Saves Circle of Magi, Saves Redcliffe, Connor Possessed (learns blood magic from demon), Ascends Harrimont, Preserves the Ashes, Brokers peace with Dalish/Werewolves, Alistair executes Loghain and becomes King, Slays Archdemon (dies, no ritual). Succeeded by Orlesian Warden Petra Andras [bio/playthrough pending]

Relationships: Neutral approval with most companions, friendly with Alistair and Wynne, max approval only with Leliana. Kind but very shy and is intimidated by most companions. Finds Morrigan very pretty but is too frightened to speak much to her. Had a brief crush on Duncan. Main parties: [Leliana, Alistair, Wynne]

Background: Her father is Orlesian so her mom Revka Amell decides to keep her maiden name to make it easier on the children. Speaks Orlesian, lived in Orlais till age 10 when taken to Ferelden Circle, has an accent.
