— Oh boy, It's been a while since I've been here, huh?

Mostly came on to opt-out of the A*I bs but figured I'd give an update, too!

Sorry I've been MIA for so long! I got extremely busy and then entirely lost motivation to write. In an effort to kickstart that and kind of refresh things, I'm going to drop everything I currently have going and extremely cut back my character list, at least for the time being.

I do eventually plan to at least add back all of the non-experimental characters, but for now the list will be a lot smaller! I technically already updated my interest sheet & character select doc!

Sorry again for missing, and thank you for your patience!! I'm busy until the end of next weekend but hopefully after that I'll be here to get some things started!

Yeul nods wordlessly in answer to his inquiry, expression yet impassive. 「 That would be an apt descriptor, yes, 」 she continues. She's quiet, for a moment, at his warning — head only tipping a slight bit to one side. Finally, a hint of a perplexed expression appears on her face — her brows furrowed just slightly, lips faintly downturned, and her nose just barely wrinkled.

「 Mm...you misunderstand. But only because you know so little of Gran Pulse and its people. Caius did not bear witness to it. Nor did I, in the sense you are familiar with. 」 Another moment of thought before she continues with her answer. 「 I can see visions of the future. I saw it happen before it occurred. 」

          She nods a bit, knowingly, at his response, though her expression stays impassive, neutral. His inquiry has her head tipping a faint bit to one side, and green eye shift away from him for a moment as she considers the question — how best to answer it.「 I … am not with anyone, 」 she finally answers with a shake of her head. 「 I do not have a group I call allies, nor family. It is just myself and Caius. 」 It’s an almost matter-of-fact response, as her gaze returns to him, head straightens again. 「 I am not here to guilt you for what you have done. I was only saying what I have seen. 」

𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡  𝐡𝐢𝐬  𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧  𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬  𝐢𝐧  𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟,  confusion  quirks  his  brow.  The  controversies  surrounding  him  had  left  him  perhaps  a  touch  too  wary,  hearing  the  topic  without  context  not  aiding  his  alertness.  Conspiracy  and  intrigue  had  spiraled  out  of  control,  any  who  claimed  to  know  about  him  what  he  did  not  reveal  were  met  with  caution.

But  observing  the  young  woman’s  countenance,  hearing  her  out,  he  choose  to  believe  her.  Basch  tried  a  subtle  smile  to  lessen  the  impact  of  his  prior  words.  “So  you  are  of  a  neutral  party  then.“  And  here  without  the  partner  she  mentioned.  “If  you  and  your  friend  were  witnesses,  you  should  lay  down  for  your  own  safety  then.“

Sometimes I’ll watch baking videos and they’ll say something like ‘make sure it isn’t soggy, this should never be soggy’ but I’ll just be think ‘oh, but I kind of like it like that’, ”  Rika says,  “ And this place has plenty of options so, even if the cream puffs aren’t up to scratch, I’m sure you’ll find something that’s just your taste. ”  She pulls her phone out from her pocket, double checking the directions. The glowing blue circle on the Google Maps display confirms they’re going the right way. It shouldn’t be much longer now.  “ Definitely terrible! But I guess it’s better than how it was way back when you couldn’t save at all and you had to write down the level code or else you’d have to start right from the beginning! ”

「 Exactly! 」 Tomoka answers with a wide smile and a nod. 「 And I’m sure I will! Not that I’m super picky. 」 At least, she wouldn’t call herself picky when it came to food. She glances over as Rika checks the directions. The next words draw a groan from her, a hand raising to her forehead. 「 Oh gosh. How could I forget about level codes? Those were so terrible! 」

「 You say that, but I feel bad, now, 」 she murmurs, a small pout tugging on her lips, 「 like I'm kicking him out of his bed! 」 Hana glances off in the direction the familiar escaped, giving a small bow in apology.

The question has her attention fully back, a soft hum of thought escaping. 「 Just a little bit of sugar, please! 」 she answers. The inquiry in regards to the repetition of the word draws a giggle for her before she starts counting back on her fingers. 「 Four. 」

          A soft cheer escapes Hana at the response, even as she stretches her arms above her head. Then she’s shutting her laptop and setting it on the table — gaming on a portable computer was a sometimes necessary evil, primarily if she wanted to game at someone else’s house. She certainly didn’t prefer it, though. 「 I know, I know, 」she murmurs, giggling softly at the way his yawn cuts him off. 「 I just like to make sure, rather than assuming, y’know~? 」

          Mention of the cat’s “bed” has her attention shifting to the tabby, a small wave given. A small pout tugs on her lips, however, when Suwon flees. 「 Suwon-ssi~! We can share~! 」 she calls after the feline with crocodile tears. The inquiry has her attention shifting back to Minjoon, her fake crying forgotten. 「 Ooh~, that sounds perfect! You always know just what I need. 」

  nodding as she accepts the offer, he lethargically pulls himself up from the confines of his seat, rubbing at an eye as he starts to move toward the kitchen. honestly, he doesn’t think he’ll NEED the tea to help him sleep tonight, exhausted as he is, but it’ll be nice to have the time to talk before bed. good to have a break from the computer screen before attempting sleep.

     “ don’t worry about him, ”  he tells hana, nodding after suwon on his way to the next room. “ you’d be surprised by how little he likes to cuddle most of the time. ”  would that have something to do with suwon being a familiar rather than the AVERAGE HOUSECAT? yeah, but it’s also always just been the way he is.

     “ you want anything in your tea? i know how you like your coffee, but i never know with people and tea. not everyone takes the both the same, and for some people it changes depending on the TYPE of tea. …so, head’s up, i guess: i’ll probably never stop asking how you want your tea. ”  a tangent born of a tired mind as he starts the kettle boiling water and searches his tea cabinet for his latest chamomile addition. box found, he pulls out two sachets only to pause, then glance over his shoulder at hana. 

     “ …how many times did i just say ‘tea?’ ”
