El and Lucas the Max Protectors™

a lot of people seem to hc Max as really protective, and I get it because that comes standard with the type of character that Max almost is. but Max is not protective. she's emotionally protective, she's physically supportive, but she's not physically protective. in a moment of danger you never see Max stepping out in front - you see her at the back of the group. and she never has a bruised ego about it. she never insists she doesn't need stupid boys to protect her and she never does the "ohh thank u kind sir lmaooo" thing with Lucas after the danger has passed.

I'm here to tell you that while Max might not readily admit to it, she likes to be protected. loves to be protected. not in a damsel way; we've seen her get out of some horrible situations on her own. she never really expects or seeks it out, but her friends just do protect her without her having to ask, and it means so much to her. because Max has felt unprotected all her life, and she craves it. can she even remember a time when she felt totally safe in her own home? she lives with two abusers and I can't imagine Max seeing her mother as any kind of of protector, after putting her in that situation. Max hasn't had anyone make her feel safe in a long time.

so I love that while Max is capable of taking care of herself, when something scary happens, you can find her unapologetically peeking out from behind that nerd boy and his little slingshot, the one who she made fun of for screaming like a little girl. I love that it seems like Max's character would be the one protective of her abused ingenue bff, but she's the one always standing back with awe while El bodily shields her from monster after monster. I think being protected like that makes Max feel very loved.

Bonus: El's protection means so much to Max that the literal last act of her life is to try to reciprocate and try to protect El when she needs it. i'm done, do not speak to me

I just finished your 3 part beomgyu x reader series and you are such a fantastic author I must say , but I do have some questions :

Was myungsoo abusive , if not who abused her

2what did soobin mean by look at her body ?? And beomgyu yot angry with jiwoo around

Why did those other idols say look what's on her neck

Why did mc leave the stage i wasn't able to understand the scenario.

Is oc really that famous

And do OC and beomgyu end up tgt for good

And finally author i loved how you dived in to the lives of idols i felt it was actually raw like humans are and you dwelled into how humans behave like the idols past their off cam personality.

YAY I’m excited about these. I hope this doesn’t mean I was too vague about some things but here we go:

1. If you’re referring to the bruises, those are from Beomgyu when they used to purposefully injure each other during sex. Myungsoo was a little emotionally abusive though. It’s good they weren’t together for long.

2. Again this is referring to Beomgyu marking her up during sex which to anyone on the outside could be alarming.

3. Some Beomgyu-caused-scars again, because they believe she wrote the song about him they immediately assume that’s where it’s from. I mean they’re right but not about the song.

4. I’m a little confused about this one? I don’t think she ever left the stage but correct me if I’m wrong

5. She’s not BP or BTS level, but Strawberry Jam is one of those kpop songs that are everywhere. Hence why it was playing in a store. It’s her blow up song. She’s more of a Sunmi level maybe?? Idk, most idols know of her

6. They try. I believe they stay together for a long time. I’m not a fan of “and they lived happily ever after forever and ever” but hey maybe they grow old together. For the foreseeable future they will stay together

do you have a favourite traditional art medium or do you mostly stick with digital?

i mostly stick with digital nowadays but !! i used to love using just basic b&w pencil&paper. she'll always be a classic and was definitely my most common medium back in the day

i also loved to paint whenever i got the chance but that tends to be pretty expensive to do consistently </3 but man if i had access to some quality paints and nice tiny detail brushes i would use them constantlyyy i miss painting so much

#asks #i love doing digital for a lot of reasons but mainly just bc ive become spoiled by the ability to edit and readjust things on digital #whenever im painting or drawing w pencil i get annoyed bc i cant like. select a portion and move it around AJSDHFGDHS #got way too used to digital lol #but also goddd i wanna paint so bad 👹#my brushes are so fucked up crunchy and old and i dont have a lot of paints so i havent had the chance to use em much its so sad </3

I. Have never heard a DVD commentary. So let's TRY!!

I feel like iwaoi are the type of people to never actually tell each other they're best friends. it's just assumed. they're secure in their friendship (most of the time) and they're confident they ARE best friends, but they hardly ever say it, especially iwaizumi. However, iwaizumi is also super proud of oikawa, pretty much just for existing. he definitely tells people "yeah, he's my best friend :)" when oikawa isn't around. So I wanted Oikawa to know how much he's treasured.

I ALSO wanted to use this paragraph to emphasize how long they've been together. they start by saying ten years, which oikawa is quick to correct to fifteen; they're proud of having so much history together. later on, iwaizumi then rounds this up to twenty years, which oikawa makes fun of him for, but secretly it makes them both feel fuzzy inside to think that their lives have been intertwined for that long...

TL;DR: Iwaizumi and Oikawa have been best friends since before the earth began. They are both very proud of this. Neither of them like to say it.
