I'm really intrigued by the idea of Oosaki being a sort of blank slate character whose personality evolves and is gradually shaped by each particular love interest in unique degrees. I want to see them bring out the good and bad in him in their own specific way. it'd be really interesting from a narrative and character standpoint for him to be handled that way. he'd feel more fleshed out, in a way that couldn't really be achieved otherwise

Peng Doesn't Like Farts

Fans of Lego Monkie Kid, as many of you may already know, Peng is based on an ancient monster king appearing in chapters 74 to 77 of  Journey to the West (Xiyouji, 西遊記, 1592). In the end of his arc, he is trapped above the Buddha's throne and submits to Buddhism. But you may not know that this very same character appears in a later novel, The Complete Vernacular Biography of Yue Fei (Shuo Yue quanzhuan, 說岳全傳, 1684 CE; a.k.a. The Story of Yue Fei). Peng is exiled from paradise for ... and I'm not joking ... killing a stellar spirit for farting during the Buddha's sermon.

Chapter one of Yue Fei's biography reads:

Let’s talk about the Buddha Tathagata at the Great Thunderclap Monastery in the Western Paradise. One day, he sat on a nine-level lotus throne, and the Four Great Bodhisattvas, the Eight Great Vajra Warriors, the five hundred Arhats, the three thousand Heavenly Kings, nuns and monks, male and female attendants, all of the heavenly sages who protect the Dharma, gathered to listen to his lecture on the Lotus Sutra. His words were like flowers and precious jewels raining from the heavens. But, at that time, a star-spirit, the Maiden Earth Bat, who had been listening to the lecture from beneath the lotus throne, couldn’t bear it any longer and unexpectedly let out a stinky fart. The Buddha was a great, merciful lord, so he didn’t mind even the slightest bit. But don’t sympathize with the Dharma protector above his head, the “Great Peng, the Golden-Winged King of Illumination,” whose eyes shone with golden light and whose back was a scene of auspiciousness. He became angry when he saw the nasty, filthy Maiden Earth Bat, and so he unfurled both his wings and dropped down to kill the spirit by pecking her on the head. The light-point of her soul shot out of the Great Thunderclap Monastery and went to the Lands of the East (China) in the world below to find a mother and reincarnate. She was reborn as a daughter of the Wang clan. She would later marry the Song Prime minister Qin Hui (1091-1155) and come to cruelly kill the righteous (i.e. Yue Fei) as a means to get revenge against today’s enemy. We will talk about this later. Let’s return to the Buddha, who saw what happened with his all-seeing eyes and exclaimed, “Good! Good! It turns out that this is an episode of karma (cause and effect).” Then he called the Great Peng bird to come closer and shouted, “You evil creature! You already took refuge in my teachings. How can you not follow the five precepts by daring to commit such a horrible crime? I don’t need you here; you will descend to the mortal world to pay off your (karmic) debt and wait until you have fulfilled your work. Once that is completed, only then will I allow you to return to the mountain to achieve the right fruit (Buddhist merit).” The Great Peng complied with the decree, flying out of the Great Thunderclap Monastery directly to the Lands of the East to be reincarnated. We will stop here (translation by me). 且說西方極樂世界大雷音寺我佛如來，一日端坐九品蓮臺，旁列著四大菩薩、八大金剛、五百羅漢、三千偈諦、比丘尼、比丘僧、優婆夷、優婆塞，共諸天護法聖眾，齊聽講說妙法真經。正說得天花亂墜、寶雨繽紛之際，不期有一位星官，乃是女土蝠，偶在蓮臺之下聽講，一時忍不住，撒出一個臭屁來。我佛原是個大慈大悲之主，毫不在意。不道惱了佛頂上頭一位護法神祗，名為大鵬金翅明王，眼射金光，背呈祥瑞，見那女土蝠污穢不潔，不覺大怒，展開雙翅落下來，望著女土蝠頭上，這一嘴就啄死了。那女土蝠一點靈光射出雷音寺，徑往東土認母投胎，在下界王門為女，後來嫁與秦檜為妻，殘害忠良，以報今日之讎。此是後話，按下不提。 且說佛爺將慧眼一觀，口稱：「善哉，善哉！原來有此一段因果。」即喚大鵬鳥近前，喝道：「你這孽畜！既歸我教，怎不皈依五戒，輒敢如此行兇？我這裡用你不著，今將你降落紅塵，償還冤債，直待功成行滿，方許你歸山，再成正果。」大鵬鳥遵了法旨，飛出雷音寺，徑來東土投胎不表。

Y bueno, llegó el turno de hablar sobre Aipom 🐒

Shiodome

que si bien no es uno de los uke principales, si es uno de mis favoritos ♥w♥

por lo que en esta ocasión voy a teorizar sobre él ^_^

Comenzando con su información más relevante

■ Nombre: Shiodome Michio

■ Fecha de nacimiento: █

■ Tipo de sangre: █

■ Profesión: Estudiante universitario de segundo año (Facultad de Estudios Culturales)

■ Pasatiempos / especialidades: Varios dialectos, memorización y recitación

■ Características: Sus ojos (en espiral), sus dientes desordenados y su lunar de 'lágrima'

■ Aflicción: 'Inquietud'

■ Teoría de juego: Aleatoria

Independientemente de la actitud de los compañeros, en cada turno decidirá si 'cooperar' o 'traicionar' al azar

▼ Lo que se sabe de él ▼

● Es estudiante universitario y está en el grupo de investigación de folclore de la facultad de estudios culturales

● Anda con la libreta de su profesor (el tal Tsukishima) investigando la historia y folclore de la isla Ooe

● Hace alboroto por todo, pero es bastante brillante (aunque parezca que está loquito)

● Tiene una personalidad fuertemente acérrima e inquisitiva que no puede dejar nada que no entiende sin explicación, y está entre los mejores de su clase ya que dichas características son compatibles con el estudio

● No tuvo relación directa con An, y solo es un simple fan

● No tuvo dudas sobre por qué fue convocado al servicio conmemorativo y más bien estaba deseando poder asistir

● Es un joven que parece un 'monito de juguete', con ojos muy abiertos y dedos que se 'mueven solos'

● No se le debe subestimar solo por su comportamiento 'irrazonable', ya que de vez en cuando hace afirmaciones muy acertadas que van directo al grano

● Las impresiones de los otros asistentes están divididas entre 'me gusta' y 'no me gusta', y que solo Oosaki es 'neutral'

● Y por último, que tiene dos rutas(?)

Dicho esto, ahora sí, empecemos con las teorías 🧐

■ Lo primero sería su nombre

su nombre al parecer proviene de un personaje que se llama "Moroto Michio", que es de una novela que se llama "Kotou no Oni"

y si bien hubo algunas cosas que leí de la sinopsis en wikipedia que me llamaron la atención, no voy a hacer comparaciones entre ellos dos ya que, para empezar no he leído esa novela, y 2do, tampoco es como que Shiodome vaya a ser una copia exacta de Michio 🙄

pienso que el nombre simplemente es referencial (como los nombres de los personajes de UrC)

pero de lo que si podemos sospechar, es del hecho de que su nombre, el de Funeno y el de Shizuma, si hayan sido revelados, y que curiosamente los tres provengan de personajes ficticios 🤨

así que como esto me parece sospechoso 😤, mi primera teoría conspirativa es que 'Michio' no es su verdadero nombre

■ Está en el grupo de investigación de folclore de la facultad de estudios culturales

con esto podríamos asumir que Shiodome será el que le esté contando a Oosaki sobre las costumbres de la isla, sus ceremonias etc

o mejor dicho, lo que vendría a ser la parte oscura de la isla 👹

■ Se especializa en dialectos, memorización y recitación

y aquí encuentro la primera asociación con Takeshiba 🤨

"Dialecto"

dialecto de Kansai…

mi teoría aquí sería que, posiblemente, Takeshiba esté fingiendo su acento y Shiodome se haya dado cuenta

porque si se especializa en dialectos, entonces él perfectamente podría distinguir si un acento es natural o fingido 🤔

y sobre su otra especialidad...

pues seguramente lo veamos en alguna parte del juego recitando conjuros y haciendo cosas raras que la gente de la isla hacía 😅

■ Características

por sus ojos dando vueltas 😵, lo primero que asumiríamos es que le hicieron un lavado de cerebro 🤯

que le hayan hecho algún tipo de 'hipnosis'...

y sobre sus dientes desalineados...

pues aquí lo describieron como un niño 'problemático' 🙄

por lo que puede ser que tenga los dientes hechos kk porque se la pasa mordiendo cosas... 😒

ahora, otra cosa interesante a resaltar, es esta imagen de aquí ↓

en la que pareciera que está sudando 💦 o llorando 😥

la forma en la que está mostrando los dientes, es como si estuviera forzando una sonrisa, o como si lo estuvieran forzando a abrir la boca... 😬

un poco similar a como se ve Shinbashi...

así que si esta imagen es la de su invitación, entonces ya tendríamos al segundo asistente que 'lloró' cuando recibió la carta 🤨

lo cual es curioso ya que Shiodome al parecer ni se cuestionó el por qué fue convocado 🤔

qué razón tendría para estar tan nervioso al punto de sudar/llorar? 🤷‍♀️

■ Tiene la libreta de su profesor, y anda investigando las tradiciones de la isla

este dizque 'profesor' Tsukishima es un personaje que me llama mucho la atención y que realmente espero que aparezca en el juego 🤤

quiero ver qué tipo de persona es y cómo hizo para lidiar con un alumno tan 'especial' como Shiodome 😁

pero bueno, volviendo al tema, la pregunta que nos hacemos aquí es

por qué Shiodome tiene la libreta de su profesor???

y sí, lo que todos nos imaginamos es que la persona a la que m＠tó es ese profesor, pero...

también está la posibilidad de que el tal Tsukishima no exista 🙄

el nivel de locura de Shiodome en el ranking es de 5 (el máximo), y según Oosaki, sueña despierto incoherencias

así que si Shiodome está tan loquito, entonces la posibilidad de que el tal profesor Tsukishima no exista y solo esté en su cabeza no sería descabellada 🤨

ahora, cuales son las otras posibilidades?

pues que el mismo Tsukishima le haya dado la libreta a Shiodome con algún objetivo, o, que Shiodome haya leído algo que le llamara la atención y se la robara...

■ Es ruidoso pero también muy talentoso y no puede dejar algo que no entiende sin explicación

con esto asumiríamos que va estar muuuuy interesado en llegar al fondo del asunto, pero lo que contrasta un poco con esto...

es el hecho de que se ría del problema...

“問題を笑い飛ばそうとしている”

de lo que está pasando, como si no tuviera sentido de la realidad y pensara que está dentro de alguna novela/película 😟

■ No tuvo relación directa con Ann

hay varios personajes que no tuvieron una relación directa con ella, y Shiodome es uno de ellos

así que si Shiodome no la conoció en persona, entonces por qué fue invitado a asistir al aniversario???

Shiodome no se cuestionó el por qué fue llamado, no dudo, no se puso a darle vueltas 🤯, por el contrario, más bien estaba deseando asistir

así que mi teoría aquí, tiene que ver con el profesor Tsukishima

puede ser que la invitación no fuera para Shiodome, sino para Tsukishima...

si asumimos que Shiodome m＠tó a Tsukishima y esa carta era para él, entonces Shiodome pudo haberla encontrado ya sea en su libreta o en su oficina

lo que podría explicar el por qué no tuvo dudas 🤔 (no era para él en un principio)

ahora, cual es la otra posibilidad?

si bien es cierto que Shiodome parece loquito, también pienso que podría estar guardando información 🤐

si Shiodome ha estado investigando la historia de la isla, es posible que sepa algo sobre lo que está pasando (los asesinat0s)

algo así como que él supiera que algo iba a pasar en la isla, que no era precisamente el servicio conmemorativo, y por eso estuviera deseando asistir, para poder presenciarlo 😲

■ Parece un monito de peluche, pero no se le debe subestimar

aparte de que es un estudiante universitario, no sabemos nada más de él 😕

no sabemos en que tipo de entorno creció... por qué se comporta como un 'animal'...

o por qué se impresiona por todo... 눈_눈

(para él TODO es 'SUGEEE' ಠ_ಠ)

y sobre lo otro...

se nos ha dicho que habrá ocasiones en las que Shiodome les dirá sus verdades en la cara a los otros asistentes 🤬

osea, que no siempre lo vamos a ver actuando como un loquito 🤪, sino que también tendrá sus momentos de 'lucidez'

no voy a decir que Shiodome está fingiendo su personalidad ya que no me parece del tipo que se tomaría la molestia de hacer algo así 🙄

pero si pienso que esta 'doble' personalidad podría tener alguna relación con el hecho de que supuestamente tiene dos rutas 😒

puede ser que Shiodome tenga una ruta de 'locura' y otra ruta de 'cordura' 😯

■ Las opiniones sobre él están divididas

no sabemos que piensan los otros personajes de él 🙄, pero al menos al doctor parece que le gusta...

y a Oosaki le da completamente igual 😑

por lo que de momento el único con el que lo hemos visto 'rivalizar' es con Ariake

todavía no sabemos el por qué de esta 'rivalidad', pero pienso que tal vez es porque Shiodome sabe (o intuye) que Ariake solamente se está haciendo el buenito 😇 y que no tiene buenas intenciones con Oosaki 🕷

por eso lo mantiene a raya 🚫

para fastidiarlo... 💢💢💢

y por supuesto que no podía faltar mi dúo favorito de este juego 😍

Takeshiba × Shiodome

sobre estos dos... a pesar de que me encanta verlos juntos... 🥰

también podríamos cuestionarnos un poco sobre que tan 'amigos' van a ser realmente 😒

ya que Takeshiba insinúa que Shidodome es un mentiroso

y Shiodome llega incluso a 'inculpar' a Takeshiba de algo... 😑

pero dejando eso a un lado 😤, Shiodome por alguna razón pareciera tener interés en Takeshiba 🤔

quiere llevarse bien con él...

le dice lo que quiere oír...

Takeshiba guarda mucha oscuridad detrás de su sonrisa 👹

así que seguramente el interés de Shiodome por él venga de ahí 😕

es posible que Shiodome vea algo en él que le llame la atención y por eso quiera tenerlo de 'aliado' 🤔

quizá en algún momento de la historia los intereses de estos dos se van a alinear y van a formar una especie de 'alianza'... 🤝

pero bueno, sea que vayan a ser amiguitos o no, a mí personalmente me gustaría mucho que estos dos terminaran juntos 😍

no necesariamente de forma romántica 😏, pero si que siguieran viéndose después de regresar de la isla (en las rutas donde no mueren por supuesto 😞)

■ Y por último, que supuestamente tiene dos rutas

esto es algo que no me queda muy claro, ya que no sé si es que tiene dos rutas, o si hay dos rutas en las que se puede acceder a la suya 🤷‍♀️

pero en el caso de que tuviera dos rutas (algo que personalmente me encantaría 🤩)

no estaría eso dando a entender que su personaje va a ser crucial para la trama???

como mencioné arriba, es posible que Shiodome sepa algo sobre lo que está pasando en la isla 🤨

solo que quizás no abre la boca porque le entretiene más ver cómo se desarrollan las cosas que intervenir 🤐

満月の日、寂しさがピークに達して、どうしようか悩みつつ、普段地味な姿をできるだけ派手に化粧して、長い髪をまとめてアップにして、体のラインがしっかり出るタイトなワンピースを纏って、下着を身につけずに、好きな人とよく歩いた街に出かけた。この衣装もプレゼントされたものだった。見知らぬ危険な地域とは違って、安心感があって、スリルはなかった。

しかし、胸に痛みを覚えながら、路地から路地へと渡り歩く。それはただ思い出になった場所を感傷に浸って歩いているに過ぎず、いつものようなひりついた感覚は味わえなかった。いつものようにシェリー酒を飲んだが、ちっとも酔えなくて、頭は冴えていて、清らかに感じていた思い出ばかりが頭を駆け巡っていく。

場所を変えて、同じ街の繁華街のバーで強めのカクテルを浴びるようにたくさん飲んで、裏通りのビルの谷間に倒れ込んだ。どのぐらい倒れ込んでいただろう。東の空から顔を出した満月が、高く昇ってビルの間の雲の切れ間から顔を覗かしていた。優しい声で私を抱き上げて、お姫様抱っこでどこかに連れて行こうとする。

聴き慣れた声。どこかで聴いたことのある声だった。しかも私の名前を呼ぶ。身分証明になるものは何も身につけてないはずなのにと薄目を明けると、結婚を反故にした元恋人だった。

私は気づかないふりをして、元恋人の行動を見守る事��した。連れていかれた場所は、ネオンサインの通りにある、けばけばしいホテル。受付を済ませ部屋に入って、ぽんと放り投げるようにベッドに寝かされた私は、もうすっかり酔いも醒めて、元恋人が自分をどんな風に扱うのか様子を伺っていた。

頬を軽く叩かれて、名前を呼ばれる。懐かしくて涙が出そうになったが、こいつは私を捨てて、他の人と結婚しているはずだった。唇をこじ開けるように、舌を絡めながらディープキスをしてきた。

「こいつノーブラだよ」

と言ったかと思うと、服の上からでも的確に乳首のありかを探し出し、乱暴に愛撫してきた。

そういつもそう。私はこの人に乱暴に体をこじ開けられて、欲望を満たすだけの女だったのだ。私は急に腹立たしくなって、

「あなたは結婚したのでしょう？お酒につぶれた女を介抱するふりをして抱くの！！！」

大声で喚き散らしながら、こいつの股間を思い切り蹴り上げた。こいつは茫然として弁解じみたことを言おうとしたが、痛みで口をパクパクとしているだけだった。私は涙を流しながら、怒りが頂点に達して、もんどりうってベッドのわきに倒れ込んでいるこいつを、何度も何度も足で踏みつけて、早々と部屋を飛び打した。

勢いよく飛び出して、アスファルトに引っかけて、高いピンヒールが折れて、歩けなくなったので、途中で脱ぎ捨てて、裸足で帰った。あいつが乱暴に唇をこじあけて、乳首にかすかに残る愛撫の感覚はあったが、これですべてを吹っ切ったような気がした。

これまで何人かの見知らぬ男性に乱暴されて、心も体もぐしゃぐしゃでばらばらになりそうだったが、何の偶然か必然か、のこのことと現れて、酩酊状態になった私を当然のように抱こうとしたこいつからやっと心が解放されて、離れられそうな気がした。

自宅に戻り、いつものように鏡に映った自分を覗き込んだ。やっと笑顔になれた気がした。不潔なのは私ではなくて、こいつであって、私はちっとも穢れてなんてない。服を脱ぎ捨てて、身体に刻みつけられた痣やキスマークの痕すらも、乗り越えるために越えなければならなかった試練だった気がした。

翌日、産婦人科に行って、丁寧に体を見てもらった。不幸中の幸いで、大きな裂傷があるだけで、他の心配事は何もなかった。

Upcoming BL game: Ooe (Adelta)

Last week Adelta posted some information about their newest game, Ooe (大穢)! The R18 visual novel is scheduled to be released fall 2023 (now changed to June 2024!), though they’re also planning on releasing some other Ooe-related projects like an all-ages TRPG (tabletop role-playing game) version of the game and a digital format novel.

Story 30th year of the Showa era (1955), detective Oosaki travels to an abandoned fishing village located on the remote island of Ooejima, located south of Tokyo. After receiving a strange request from his client, he attends the commemoration of an actress who passed away three years ago, on his behalf. During his stay on the island a series of strange events happen. The ship that is supposed to pick them up never arrives, no one has heard anything from the event organizer, and there seems to be an unexplainable hatred and fear among the other people who gathered on the island. Stranded on this ominous island, ten people unravel the mystery of their shared past and the death of the actress, whose name is also "Ooe".

The game focuses on the ''Closed circle mystery'' element that can often be found in detective fiction. The chaotic atmosphere peculiar to post-war Japan will also be noticeable in this story. The genre is ‘’Mystery x Detective x Japanese horror’’, but according to the official blog posts it won’t have any ghosts or extremely gorey content. This is also the first Adelta game which will have a top protagonist! (and everyone is 'straight’ supposedly, which probably just means they're usually not into men but only fall for Oosaki lol). 

All nine attendees, who are also all murderers, will have their own routes, although some routes might be shorter than the others (4 full main routes). The servant who dies at the beginning of the game (I think this refers to Funeno) will also have his own route. When one route is cleared, more choices will be added to the game and more routes will unlock. Some newer blog updates also showed that there’s actually a 10th route? Which probably unlocks after clearing all of the other routes (I suspect it's Daiba). It’s also confirmed that the first route is Ariake, so maybe it will follow a similar pattern as the previous Adelta games in which you can only play the routes in a certain order!

Main characters Every character's personality seems to be inspired by the Buddhist fundamental earthly desires (workings of life that are believed to cause one psychological/physical suffering and impede the quest for enlightenment). I looked up the kanji that were used in the image below and added some translations/definitions of each term. I am not super familiar with these terms, so please let me know if there are any mistakes of course!

Oosaki (大崎) - Protagonist: A calm and collected young detective. He’s very tall and therefore people who meet him for the first time often assume he’s unfriendly, but in reality he's quite nice and just has a serious personality.

Ariake (有明) -  Disregard (Anapatrapya 無愧): A mortician who likes helping out those in need. After injuring his dominant hand, he has been receiving a lot of help from others and keeps thanking them. I initially translated his mental factor as “shamelessness” too but then I noticed Shijoumae has a similar one. I suspect that in this case it means having no shame even while doing something bad, and that he will try to justify it in some way...

Shimbashi (新橋) -  Stinginess/greed (Mātsarya 慳): A screenwriter who has a weird way of speaking, somehow combining overly polite speach and insults. He’s very proud of himself, also a germaphobe.

Hinode (日出) -  Resentment  (Krodha 忿): A junior high school student who travelled to the island on behalf of his mother. It seems like he doesn't talk. Uses a crutch to walk, though it's not really explained yet why.

Shijoumae (市場前) -  Shamelessness (Āhrīkya 無慚): A gentle and polite surgeon, who is also specialized in treating burn victims. In this case the factor of “shamelessness” seems to represent someone who does not accept criticism from others and is not ashamed of their own mistakes.

Shiodome (汐留) -  Restlesness (Auddhatya 掉挙): An energetic folkorist who can’t leave anything left unexplained. He’s researching the folklore and history of the island.

Funeno (船野) -  Sleepiness (Middha 睡眠): A servant who runs the two abandoned inns on the island. He’s so kindhearted that even the butterflies on the island seem to like him. He only fears Oosaki...

Toyosu (豊洲) -  Regret (Kaukritya 悪作): A soft-spoken monk, who always has a gentle air around him. Doesn’t quite understand why he was invited to the ceremony, as he has no connections to the Ooe family.

Takeshiba (竹芝) -  Lethargy (Styāna 惛沈): A magician who speaks in Kansai dialect. He often seems quite nervous and avoids any form of conflict.

Aomi (青海) -  Envy (Īrṣyā 嫉): A quiet music teacher who doesn’t talk a lot. When he does speak, it’s limited to short sentences only.

Side characters

Daiba Shizuma (台場静馬): Oosaki’s client who has a similar appearance as him. I’m not sure if he will remain as just a side character in the game because he’s the only one who also has red eyes, while so far all side characters have black eyes. He also has his own short story in the extra booklet... I wonder if he’s a secret route? He has way too much official art too. 

Shinagawa Zakuro (品川柘榴): A junior detective who’s always tired.

Shinkiba (新木場): Manager of the detective agency, likes reading books

By the way, in a previous blog post it was mentioned that 大穢 will be used to refer to the 18+ BL visual novel version of the game which will be released first, and  大江 for the all-ages TRPG version, though both seem to have the same reading. Most older pictures still use 大江 but I think this decision to change the kanji was only made later.

Some fun facts: all of the characters except Oosaki are named after the stations of the Yurikamome Line. One of the blog posts mentions that since there are a lot of characters, the writer wanted to make it easy for people to remember their names, so they called them after train stations near Tokyo Big Sight (the location where Comiket is held twice a year). It seems like Oosaki and the side characters Shinagawa and Shinkiba are called after stations on the Rinkai line? But they did mention that these names weren't chosen for any plot-related reasons.

So far it also seems like some characters share their first names with characters from existing novels. Shiodome's first name is Michio, which is also the name of a quite relevant character in Kotou no Oni. Daiba's first name is Shizuma which seems to be referencing a character in the Inugami Curse, and Funeno's first name is Kureichirou, which is also the name of one of the main characters of Dogra Magra (the novel you might remember from Hashihime!).

As usual the writer uses a lot of literature as inspiration, this time it was mentioned that the story was inspired by Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None, Edogawa Ranpo's Kotou no Oni and a few other stories inspired by real-life incidents (Anatahan, Higarigoke and the Mount Hakkoda incidents). They also seem to be referencing Inugami Curse or The inugami Family, so that's a small reading list for those who want to read something that could possibly be referenced in the game!

The official Adelta Twitter account frequently posts new updates about the game, so I recommend turning notifications on! They post a lot of background illustrations, CG previews, lineart, sketches etc. If you want even more information, I also purchase BL magazine Cool-B. Adelta always publishes a little bit of extra information in there, for example a ''madness'' scale ranking each character from 1 -5 (5 being the worst) so it's definitely worth checking out if you want to know more about this game.

寒い夜。雪が赤坂にも少し降って足元まで冷える。

もつ煮屋のあとはカラオケにいって騒いだ。こんなにお金をつかないと楽しくないなんて大人は厄介だ。2万くらいが飛んでいった。

明け方になり、友人夫婦の喧嘩を目の前で見た。さっきまで富士そばできつねそばとカツ丼を交換していたのに。

「私はあなたの子供を産む気はないから別れてください」　人を殺す言葉、その人は別にあなたが好きに壊して良いおもちゃではないよ？と思った。喧嘩するにも作法がある。傷つけるだけに言葉を使っている。

もともとは旦那がやめたはずのタバコを隠れて吸っていて、何度注意してもやめてくれなくて。そんなん。そんな理由で別れる別れないになるんだな。

もちろん、裏切られたって感じるのは辛いことだけど、離婚はきっともっとつらいと思う。

いや、もっと面倒だと思う。

結婚なんてなんのゴールでもなく、かと言ってスタートでもなく、契りでもなく。

永遠ってやつを信じさせてくれない。どこにもない。悪いお酒で割ったウーロンハイの残穢のように嫌な気持ちが胃の底の方に残った。

たぶん、この夫婦とはもう飲みに行かないなぁと予感がした。喧嘩の仲裁に疲れた。2人だけの時にせめてやってほしい。

なんだか酷く馬鹿みたいだ。虚しい。なぜかとても虚しい。
