A humble concept for your consideration: feanor time travel fic (or, alternatively, fic where his "glimmer of foresight" gave him rather more to work with) in which he sets each silmaril into a setting he thinks will most protect his loved ones and wound his enemies.

The first is made into a lantern and given to Nerdanel, so that she may never be left in the dark.

The second is built into a suit of armor and given to Finwë, so that he may be safe from all harm.

The third is made into a sword and given to Nõlofinwë, so that they may discover the mortality of a Vala.

I want you all to know that I think you're all cool and wonderful people - you have such passion for your characters, enough to have made them a blog - a theme or a caard, maybe you spent hours in Photoshop or a while on that verse / about page? You've dedicated HOURS, maybe even DAYS of your life to curating stories around your character. Youve poured something of yourself into them. Maybe an opinion, maybe a hobby or a silly little headcanon. You've given people a chance, written opposite them - explored stories you never thought your canon, or oc character would be a part of.

Don't ever feel any kind of pressure. Don't ever look at your roleplay or your blog and feel pressure or inadequacy. Save that shit for your job, for the real life bits and pieces that kick our butts sometimes.

Your response to how the DR is a deconstruction of escapism in fiction reminds how a. We can manipulate and actually kill someone in Snowgrave in this "escapist" dark world and have potentially huge ramifications in the light world and b. How a bunker is generally seen as refuge, a place to escape from danger (the sprites for it are even called a shelter internally), yet the one in town it is presented in such an ominous manner that I wouldn't be surprised if Kris + party members use to escape from some calamity only to end up a messed up or straight up horrific place.

to clarify (because i fear i wasn't clear enough), i don't think deltarune is deconstructing the idea of escapism either — as i've said i just don't think it's a part of the game's themes At All. escapism's just Not what deltarune is about! all ch2 does is use queen and berdly's misconceptions about it as a means to demonstrate that they do not understand what noelle (and the lightners as a whole, for queen) want. but that said, i do think snowgrave is a powerful point of proof against the escapism reading. the main route is also Not At All escapist, but the snowgrave route's even more evidently anything but escapism for anyone involved.

as for the bunker, i have my own thoughts on it, but i think you may have escaping and escapism confused. going to a bunker to keep safe from a calamity isn't escapism so much as it is physically protective. someone wanting to keep safe from danger doesn't automatically corollate to anything to do with escapism — nor does enjoying the fun of an adventure with friends! escapism is a very specific mode of engagement that is Not present here nor in that sort of a survival situation.

Back to my Wolfwood being the oldest sibling bs, I’m thinking about how he has definitely done a joke or a prank that he didn’t know it would make the one at the end of it cry or something, so he would low key panic while instinctively trying to make them calm down and also bribe them into not telling about it to anyone else

This brings me to thinking he would do something like that to Vash, and paired with the fact that he tends to overreact as a comic relief (we know why we dont talk about thisrn) to whatever is going on, Vash would probably cry over it or act deeply offended

Hm, vampire tips? First off, not exactly a blog for kids bro, so best to scroll away after this post. Second, here's my advice with my ever so big experience:

-Follow the masquerade. This should be pretty obvious, but gotta tell yah just in case broski. (Do you know the masquerade rules?)

-Know what's in the blood your drinking. Not every person is so freshy fresh bro, there could be shit in their blood that hurts you, like drugs or whatever.

-Be careful to not frenzy. Control the amount of blood you drink, taking too much could make you lose your humanity and generally frenzies aren't fun.

-Listen to your sire. They've done the game before you, they know how this works better then you.

-Respect the domain.

I have more, but these should be enough for now. Have any more questions, I'd recommend asking Sheriff Deacon Keller, he knows a lot.
