Héstia, lar dos Deuses, senhora do fogo
Canto de ti que é entronizada
No bruxulear áureo da lareira
Que perscrutas os ritos pelas velas e
Impera sobre a junina fogueira
Héstia das muitas bênçãos, a Deusa
Possa eu honrar tua presença
E chamá-la de modo decente
Sabendo que vens, modesta e esplendente
Saúdo Héstia de todos os lares!
Fogo que aquece o coração dos mortais
Vem afável, rainha da parcela primeva
english:
Hestia, home of the Gods, mistress of fire
I sing of thee who's enthroned
In the golden movement of the hearth's flame
Thou watcheth the rites from candles and
Reigns over june's bonfire
Hestia of the many blessings, the Goddess
May I call presence thine
And summon thee in decent modes
Knowing thou cometh, modest and bright
Hail Hestia of all homes!
Fire whom warmeth our mortal hearts
Come affable, Queen of the first sharing!

Áureos (Mikháel) learning How To Rogue with his dad
OC info under the cut!
Argentus always had a liking for firearms, but they were extremely rare at that point on their setting, so Mikh never had a chance to learn until much later. Instead, like the drawing shows, he learnt how to use knifes from an early age, something that WILL be handy when he eventually becomes a hitman for the gang in wich he currently lives in.
Argentus (Right) is the personification of "I will not fuck up my kid like my parents did to me" and ends up fucking him up in a completely different way. He has spent his whole life doing whatever it took to survive, and idolizing violence as a way of life and something that would keep him safe. He truly cared about Mikh when he was younger, but he is... VERY emotionally stunted. He never truly learnt to have a good relationship with anyone, so his way to bond with his kid was through violent means. Teaching how to DO violence, how the world is an uncaring place and you have murder your way to the top.
But he does care. Before covering it up, his left arm's tattoo was dedicated to Mikh's name, Áureos, the golden sun. Like the dead snake on his right arm representing his own brother, Argentus cares deeply for his family, but never understood what a healthy family life should be like.
Now, years later, Mikh has adopted the same dual weapon fighting his dad had, but the daggers are still important to him. He plays with knifes when he's nervous, and they still give him a sense of.. safety. Makes him remember a time in wich their relationship wasn't fucked up.
