Shipping will mainly be thread-dependent. If you feel like our muses may mesh, go for it!

I will not tolerate hate for what I ship. I don’t need to be told I’m shipping something unhealthy because chances are I’ll state it’s unhealthy and I by no means condone dating a psychopath in real life. Hate will be deleted and blocked.

When it comes to OC ships and any ship really, ship needs chemistry. Do not force a ship onto my muses. They need to get to know each other, and this mainly applies to OC ships–not so much the pr-established characters in the show. If I already ship it, I’m down to jumping straight into a shipping thread.

Crossovers

I am mildly less selective with crossovers since this show is literally…all about crossing over into other media. I’m still selective but not as much. For my own comfort I won’t be rping with characters from the Sonic franchise.

Triggers and Tagging

I know very little about triggers myself and what people consider a trigger. IF you want something tagged you’ll have to ask. I’ll be clueless otherwise, but I will tag all ships. And the basic gore and blood and such. Be aware of the fact I have bad memory problems. If I forget to tag something you asked me to tag I’m sorry, it wasn’t on purpose.

This is an insanely dark show and there will be a lot of blood and gore and horror. There will be torture and killing talk, but it will still be tagged.

Mun Notes

I have serious memory problems. Like, really bad due to a combo of illnesses. Cut me some slack, I’m going to forget rules and probably certain triggers if I’m not used to tagging them. Ok you guys seem to really like both my style and the Tethered AU doodle I did so Here’s more about that au + the old doodles I did of it

The official tags are #tmc tethered au, #tethered au, and #tethered together Starting off! This au came to life after my RP partner and I started up one together based on a plot idea I had. The idea of the Tethered AU [I also call it Tethered Together sometimes] is one that obviously strays from canon (because canon killed my Vol 1 and 2 victim duos, and I love them too much to let them go /p) Basically, after their deaths Mark and Cesar die they become ghosts, both spirits hold a resemblance to how they offed themselves due to M.A.D.-- Mark has a bullet wound and Cesar has a neck wound. [fun fact about Mark, he never stops bleeding. This poor guy stains so much shit] Mark’s ghost has angel wings because of his devotion to religion when alive; his devotion makes him-- in a sense-- holier than Gabriel for apparent reasons; he now has wings.  Now here’s where the Vol 2 victims come in. After Mark and Cesar met up in the afterlife [or well, a few months after because Mark couldn't stomach even looking at Cesar for a while due to alt!Cesar] they ended up staying at Cesar’s house-- after all, being dead means they didn’t have much reason to leave, and Mark doesn’t like being seen by humans. They’re still there when Jonah and Adam show up. The two do still have their argument, but Mark stops Jonah from leaving (by appearing in the back of the van and scaring the shit out of him) and Cesar stops Adam (who wasn’t affected at all) Though these two are a little bit dumb, Mark and Cesar accidentally ‘tether’ to them, so Adam and Jonah are just stuck with these two ghosts.

I like to imagine that this is the dynamic the quad has

That’s the main premise of the au I’ve got in writing, but there is something else I plan to dabble in. “What is that” you may ask? Well. You know the little doodle I put with Jonah going ‘I feel an impending sense of doom right now’? That is where alt!Cesar comes in.

I like to imagine that alternates cannot physically attack or interact with humans unless they have a physical body-- the alternate that killed Cesar took over his body.

ANYWAYS Here are some of the little things I have about this au off the top of my head

Jonah and Adam met in school when they were 9/10 and met Sarah freshman year; she told them about BPS and Adam wanted to take the leap to try and figure out what happened to his mom so he dropped out to focus on it Jonah had a semi-promising future ahead of him but Adam was all he had left to lose, so he dropped out as well to join Adam on his search.

The ghosts are able to go invisible to avoid being seen. Mark is too nervous to show himself to Sarah, so he stays hidden around her.

I also used to RP in real life with said friend as well. Damn, so I've been LARPING since grade school and then started writing them out in middle school. EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS?: I started around 2007, but I was writing in my native language. I started to roleplay in English sometime in 2009 or 2010 if I remember correctly. But I have taken occasional breaks, each of them being for about a year.

FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT?: Yes. An aggressive yes. I enjoy writing all of them. I don't actively write angst, because when I do I tend to kill my rp partner with feels and emotions and then they do it to me in return and I die a little each time 😭 But it's fun, ngl. TIME TO WRITE?: Evenings and nights when my husband is sleeping and it's nice and quiet. It's very calming and reminds me of the time I was studying at university and I was roleplaying in my free time - sometimes even stayed up to like 5 or 6 AM to write (mostly because timezones and my long time rp partner lived in Canada while I was in Europe).

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)?: Not like everyone, but I do have a few similarities with some. I definitely have Gale's knees 😂 My back hurts, my knees crack, and I even found out I have a single gray hair last summer 😆 I don't know, it's hard to pinpoint things, but there are things here and there. Astarion is the biggest opposite of me I think, he's a bit of a challenge, but I like to write him anyway.

Hey you there! Stop! Are you looking for RP? Do you want to make a new connection? You okay with someone returning to the game after a hiatus?

Hi it me! I’m Val! Pretty much everyone I played with is MIA and my character’s old connections are no more, so I’m looking to make new ones. To justify this, I’ve edited/changed the character a bit and I undoubtedly have a LOT of work to do to get back proper such as making a new carrd, glamours, mods, etc. But I’m working on it and taking it bit by bit! I have other characters and alts, too, that I’m going to be updating/posting about as well.

General Info

Name: Zheval Seltik (Val) Age: 36 Race: Viera Gender: Male (He/Him) Occupation: Mercenary/Bodyguard/Sword for Hire Timezone: CST, but I can make most things work as long as it isn't beyond 2AM CST. RP Style: I can do semi/multi-para and everything in between. I usually change my posting style to match the tempo of the RP. Ideally I'd like to get involved with others that also enjoy writing so I can improve my style and skill. A sample of my writing can be found here, having just recently posted it to get a feel for the character.

OOC: Hello! I've been playing since launch and RPing for far longer--as far back as old school Ayenee RP chats, through WoW (Silver Hand/Moon Guard - WotLK), and many others. I'm returning from a bit of a hiatus and pretty much all of my contacts are gone, so I'm starting over! Character rebuild, catching up in game, and so on. As for what I'm looking for--Zheval's always been a combatant. He can't read/write very well and it's a typical amnesia story to justify starting over. I love exciting RP-conflict, mystery, combat, adventuring, slice of life, mature, dark, etc. I'm happy to also do hangout/slice of life RP and take things a little slower, but I see him getting into tournaments for the thrill of the fight and, hopefully, being hired by an FC or individual as a guard, mercenary, or hired hand of some sort. All that to say I do have a carrd, but it's incredibly out of date. That's going to be resolved soon and is my first priority. The general idea of the character won't change, but obviously some things will be different as he's operating in a bit of a fog. Either way, to get an idea of who he was and what was left behind, you can find it here.

I Am Looking For

In-Game RP -21+ RP partners/friends to RP with in game. I'm okay with Discord, but I'd rather do within the setting/game itself.    

Long-term RP -So the character can naturally grow and evolve. I'm not looking for relationship/ERP for the sake of having one. He has priorities and, if those ever come to completion, then maybe the possibility will open up. But I want things to progress naturally and organically and right now it's not on his radar.

Themes -I'm up for just about anything! Dark, mature, casual, criminal, heroic, adventurous, whatever. I can fit this character into just about anything as-is and welcome it!

Hooks

Bodyguard/Merc - He has previous work as a guard and is currently doing that to make enough coin to live. 

Tournament/Arena - Host a tournament? Know one? He's down. Underground, seedy dives feel right to him for some reason. 

 Ul'dahn Native - Speaking of-does your character often visit Ul'dah/Central Thanalan? Maybe the bridge just near the Grindstone? That's his home when he can't afford a room in the inn! For some reason, it comforts him. 

Amnesia Experience - Does your character have experience with amnesia? Dealing with it themselves? Think they can help him learn who he was? He'd be more than willing to hear their story and form a bond. 

Exploration - So much of the world is a fog to him, and the littlest thing stands to awaken a memory or feel familiar to him. If your character either wants to help him dig through the fog or just an adventurous sort to explore the world, count him in! 

F.C. - Does your character's initials match F.C.? The ring is all he has to go on as to who he was, and any such person is immediately interesting to him. 

Enemies - A member of his past? Want to torment him? I'm all for it! 

Frienemies - A member of his past that used to hate him? Want to start a love/hate relationship where they’re constantly trying to one-up and cause problems for each other? Let’s go!

 Ideas! - I'm up for anything else so long as it isn't much more than lore-bending. There's likely a lot I missed and I'm more than open to new ideas!

The date with Sukuna and Kinie was going well even for her she didn't seem to mind it. However, they do go into more of their conversation that might lead to having Kinie questioning herself around this man. Meanwhile, Rex is enjoying his evening talking with Kali and even he finds her interesting. What will happen then? What about Yuji/Jinx and Megumi/Kisho? Read to find out.

So far, the date was going well. Sukuna was already showing Kinie some things after their little dinner. He was explaining some things regarding the construction at her prison. Everything was going as planned and it should be back to normal as requested. She was happy about that but looking at the table, she was curious about something.

Him.

Sukuna Ryomen. One of the most dangerous but strongest men in all of NYC. No one dared to raise a finger at him or speak out of line. You could say he was the devil himself. Though, the shocking part is why he took a interest in her. Kinie was just doing her job and living a normal life with her baby sister Taz. Though, being near a powerful man like Sukuna leaves her lost in questions.

"......."

'This is so unlike me. I know Sukuna is a strong dangerous man. Hell, even I know my limits when it comes to someone being as powerful as him. But..why me?' she thought looking so focused as Sukuna was listening to some music while enjoying some sweets he had made for them.

'Or maybe this is just me over thinking things. That's new too. I know Mr. Ryomen is strong and powerful. I know that...even when he offered to help me. But.........still why me?' she thought not hearing Sukuna's voice.

'I might have to just remain calm and focused but maybe I should be-'

"Kinie?" he touches her shoulder that she tenses to snap out of it looking at him. She blinks still holding her water but Sukuna looks at her concerned.

"Huh?"

"My dear, are you alright? You zoned out for a second on me. You alright?" he asked but she looks down to let out a sigh closing her eyes.

"Sorry sorry. I was...thinking about something is all, Mr. Ryomen." she said.

"Is their something wrong?" he asked her but sets the glass down as she was looking at her own cup wondering about it herself. Was their something wrong? Their shouldn't be but she was never this distracted.

"No. Nothing is wrong I just..I don't know.." she mutters. "But don't worry, I'm alright. I guess I'm still taking in everything that's happened. Even now with you.."

"Asking you out on a date." he said but he closed his eyes to sigh. "Again my dear. You don't have to worry. I won't do anything if your that nervous. I'm a gentlemen so you are safe here." he said.

"I..I never said that I was just.."

"I know but still. If something was bothering you, I won't get into your business to ask about what it is. That's your business." he said. Well, at least he respects that.

"Thank you..I....I'm never usually like this. Not many tend to ask me out on a date given my recent history. So, it's still shocking that you of all people asked me out." she admits but Sukuna said nothing to look at her then only sighed.

"Now why say that?"

"It's true though. Don't get me wrong, this date is lovely so far and I'm really enjoying myself. But...why me though? I'm not like the other woman out there. I'm not like them or....how they would be pretty. I'm just more focused on other things than that.." she said but Sukuna said nothing hearing this.

"I'm not trying to ruin the date but I-" Before she continues he stops her while holding her hand but leans in to kiss her forehead. Her eyes widen in shock from the kiss till she feels him pull back. "W..w..wh...wha..."

"You are beautiful Kinie to me. Your lovely and a strong dependent woman. You are amazing even given the fact that you run a prison with inmates that are dangerous. This tells me you are strong. I love that in a woman...."

"...." She blinks not sure how to say anything towards that but it leaves her silent.

"Besides, I asked you out because I want to know more about you....I want to. So don't say anything negative about yourself because if you do I'll prove it wrong." he said but she only blinks that her mind was taking this in. However, she feels him let her hand go but her face was now pink.

"Kinie?"

'What the hell?!?' she thought blushing worse. 'I don't know if he tried to just flirt with me or was that something else. And why is my heart now beating like crazy!?'

"You okay?"

"I..I'm fine.....thanks for that though. That was sweet." she grumbled. This got Sukuna to smile finding her precious. But he hopes they could continue their date.

~~~Meanwhile with Rex & Kali~~~~~~~

Kali was silent not sure why she was even in here this night. She could be sleeping and preparing for the next day. However, she came here due to a request that Rex asked of her. Wanting to have some company. Even Ink was still guarding the six claws to ensure they were alright. From the sounds of it they were.

While looking ahead with arms closed, she looks seeing the imp floating around that it lands on her shoulder again nuzzling the top of her head.

"You know, my little friend has taken a happy interest in you officer Vin-Shia. It's adorable." she heard Rex speak from his cell but his smile still shows on his lips. Geez, this guy was something else or it was like he was some incubus. No, he was more like a werewolf to say the least.

"*Sighs* I guess so. Speaking of....I figure you should be getting some sleep but I came here because you wanted some company?"

"I did. Even if it's just for a while. You can't blame me for wanting that can you?" he teased and yet, Kali looks ahead not saying a single word. She knew better but she only remains focused given the fact she gave her word to Warden Kinie she would still do her best in keeping the prison safe.

"........Uh huh."

"But tell me, we haven't spoken for a bit more in a few hours. I'm sure theirs more that we can talk about can't we?" he asked with a look but Kali only opens her eyes to sigh again.

"What's their to talk about? Unless you have some questions to ask me." she said.

"Well, you and I already spoken of small things in our chat. What we like, dislike, do, what we find interesting....and what we see in others. I say yours is pretty nice to know...." he hums only for Kali to blink then looks to him.

"Well, true they were small chats but can you blame me? Knowing what you do, it's hard not to ask some questions. I don't know what sort of jobs you tend to do when doing requests.." she said but maybe it's best not to ask.

"Trust me love. My requests are pretty dark and dangerous to say the least. Most wouldn't be able to handle or stomach them. I've done this for a while now and many still wonder why I do it." he said but this got Kali to blink turning to face him.

"So why do it? You seem like a smart guy and doing such things it's...hard to ask why you do it." she said. However, Rex looks to Kali but gazing into her eyes already got him silent. Such beautiful eyes even under the glow of the moonlight.

"......."

"Rex?" she saw him not respond to her but sighed to smile standing up but looks at her from the cell door.

"You wish to know?"

"If your willing to tell me." she said but Rex remains quiet again to look down at the thought.

"........For my baby sister."

"...Your...baby sister?" she asked but Rex had his arms crossed.

"Ashley Butterfly. I do what I do to insure that she is safe and happy. You know that the black market has disgusting freaks but...given the fact on pay, it gives a lot. At first, I did this to ensure she was getting what she needs due to having a weak immune system when she was born and gotten older.." he said but Kali blinks hearing this.

What does he mean by struggling?

"Hold on, isn't she like you? Your both demons aren't you? She should be fine given the fact of her being healed and-"

"Even if she is, that takes time. A demon is able to heal anything besides the dangerous serious types. She had to heal her immune system for a while but....it was a struggle." he said simply to lose his eyes. "Though, thanks to some help..I was able to find someone that can give her what is needed so this way her immune system to be strong and she's all better again.....but you know who I'm talking about right?" he asked seeing Kali blink but she felt her eyes widen.

Sukuna.

"Wait..did Sukuna...help her?" she asked.

"He did more than that. He helped her feel much more better. Her immune system is stronger and she's healthy again. Thanks to him he saved her. However, I hear she made a pack with another demon but it seems that's between her and that other warden. I'm happy for her." he smiled but Kali had a guess who it was.

"Though.....it's fine. Lets talk about something else." he said but Kali blinks.

"And that would be?"

"About you and me..."

"You..and me? Hold on now. I don't know much about you to go down that way first.....besides, I'm not that easy to-"

"Who said I was planning on trying to tempt you? Or are you into that sort of thing? That's sorta cute." he chuckled that Kali glares to growl. What the hell?!

"Hey! That's not cute! I'm strong and deadly you hear me!? Don't think just because you say a few simple things to me that works!" she said. "Your lucky I can't beat your ass!"

"Heh, even cuter when your so angry. I always did find you amazing and strong."He winks that Kali's eyes widen but she only glares to walk over and grab his black prison t-shirt to pull him against the cell door.

"Don't you look down at me as a weakling damn it! Your lucky I am not in there to kick your ass. So don't you start." she said glaring at him with eyes glowing but Rex smiled to his own eyes glowing too.

"And what makes you think I was? I'm only being honest since I always seen you as being pretty beautiful. Deadly but beautiful at the same time. Isn't it nice to get some compliments of someone that finds you attractive?" he smiled to her but Kali only started to let go but Rex slips his arm through the bar to keep her close that she tenses.

"W..what the-"

"You really don't think I was being honest to what you said. You are seriously cute..and I like that very much. Though, given by others I see..you always seem to catch my eye..and I like that." he said but Kali only shook trying to get away but he even smiled to touch her cheek.

"Someone that's dangerous but beautiful at the same time...what a lovely combination." he said.

"Your..Your just saying that to get out! I'm not falling for your tricks.." she warns but Rex chuckled to keep her close but he smiled more.

"I never lie when I speak the truth Kali..I do find you interesting.....even better knowing that you really peak my interests. I love it." he winks that she only looks away before he lets her go seeing her quickly backing up.

"Or am I wrong?" he said happy but Kali didn't say too much that she looks away from him but sighed.

"W..whatever. Just......just get some sleep! I'll see you in the morning!" she said leaving him but Rex only smiled to look at the ground. Yeah, he would really love to know her more. As for Kali, she was leaning against the wall covering her mouth but her eyes were half way open with a tint of pink seen on her cheeks.

This isn't happening! True, she had other guys out there flirt with her or try to hook up with her. Even tried to sleep with her on the first date but..Rex was different. He was getting the feeling of wishing to know her more but it leaves her silent. His words hit more stronger than the jerks out there and it leaves her heart aflutter which shocks her. Shaking her head, she turns to head to her room.

"........." She won't lose to him even if it's the flirting game! She's strong but she hopes the same for the others.

'Ink...Jinx. You two better be strong in this job....' she thought walking off.

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS : im pretty chill for the most part i think like ive definitely mellowed out a lot over the past few years but. i gotta say it:

formatting. the over-formatting of everything is killing me. i cant read most peoples carrds. i dont even know how they read it, because of how insanely tiny the text is. eye strain colors, hard to see icons, weird fonts... i dont mind a little bit of formatting, naturally, like go girl give us everything, but its getting to the point of being genuinely frustrating that almost every new blog i encounter has me fighting for my life just trying to learn the important info. i have visual and neurological issues please lord im only seven

PLOTS OR MEMES : I like both! I think memes are good to kick things off regardless, and I dont mind building off of it. I like to plot a lot ooc but more in a loosey-goosey kind of way; i really like to get to know other muns and their characters and also talking is just sort of how i think through things so its very helpful to me. i also just get a lot of ideas because these things live rent free in my head but to me a natural progression is more important than like, sticking to a script.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : i write insanely long replies because i have things wrong with me. theres NEVER any pressure to length match-- a lot of the time im just doing it to establish exposition or setting so the other person finds it easier to work with. just give me something i can work with and we are a ok :D

BEST TIME TO WRITE : it really depends... i typically end up writing in the evening/afternoon because of my schedule. i think the biggest thing is that i work on weekends, so you may only hear from me ooc on those days. im also really trying to fix my sleep schedule.........to varying levels of success. sometimes the thread is too good

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Hrm; I tend to do a lot of bittersweet endings. We'll keep it simple and say "Never Gets Easier", a fic where Edmont and Charlemend talk about their lost sons. There's no sweetness there, just men haunted by mistakes and losses.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

Maybe "When Everything Changes" which is kid fic from the POV of my WoL's older brother when she's born and his ambivalence turns to big brother joy and love.

Had an OC's backstory on our WoW RP server's fic blogging site lifted wholesale; they changed the names and class, and then…walked into our weekly guild meeting that I was leading and tried to join our guild. When confronted, the person claimed their partner had leveled the character for them and based the backstory on Skyrim (my OC's story is very specific to WoW). They tried to message me later as if we were pals who would laugh this off someday. I informed them that was not a thing and btw the site mods knew they were a plagiarist now. Also everyone knew who their alts were and a bunch of other trouble they'd caused. So far as I know, they bailed from our server after that.

I hoped they learned better and grew up quite a bit; this was well over a decade ago.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

Once or twice now; so long as folks credit and link back to my originals, and share the translated link with me, it's all good!

Roleplay and actual story collaboration both. It's a lot of fun.

Impatience, and certain grammatical abuses that do nothing for length nor clarity.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Depends on the fic. Depends on the intended audience.

For dialects, mostly the concern is "don't overdo it" as it can slow things down, be really jarring at best and offensive at worst, and difficult to understand if laying it on too thick.

Other languages entirely have different guidelines though, from sprinkling in single words or short phrases, to entire passages, and whether or not you translate or leave it up to the reader. Depends on fandom, on the characters, on the story, author intentions.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Narnia, in a my little girl diary as a pre-teen. I wanted to pick up Susan's story as a grown up and bring her and family back to a magical land. Cuz I knew it could, would happen someday, even if Lewis never got to write it himself.

What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

Final Fantasy XVI. Midst. The latter is tricky as I really don't have ideas at the moment, but really want to dig into that vibe. My writing needs to be more weird in general, really.

Im 20FTM, and I go by he/it, looking to do some My hero Academia/BNHA rp! Ive been feeling my old BNHA phase coming back, so I’m really hoping to rp it with somebody who’s 18+. Im hoping to do a MxM, CCxCC or OCxCC, as I like to play canon characters most. I don’t do doubles, since it confuses me too much, sorry.

I rp only on discord but we can discuss plot here on tumblr. I tend to enjoy making a server to keep track of everything. I tend to write about 4-5 paragraphs or the discord message limit, but I try to copy my rp partner in response length.

I’d like to be able to talk outside of RPs, lets share all our different headcanons and ideas. I welcome darker themes like dead dove, some 🍪, gore, stalking, corruption, etc, if that’s what you’d like to do. Id like for the rp to have smut, but Id like to have at least a little plot we can fall back on. All ships are welcome.

I prefer to play bottom characters, either dom or sub, though I have some characters I have preferences for. I don’t typically just play top since I like to see my fave characters getting railed 🤭. I also play both Cis or FTM characters, and welcome you playing either, as long as we have fun. I do have a weakness for rough and muscular guys being submissive though 🤭.

I also welcome most AUs, except for non-quirk AUs, as id like to keep that part of the story. I like to use some of canon, but since I’m not fully caught up to the manga its mainly just the setting, everything else is up to us! Most AUs are welcome, from Omegaverse to dom/sub dynamics to time travel or dimension travel, just let me know if there’s anything specific you want to do.

I don’t have any specific plot in mind, so throw anything you have at me. The only thing I have is preferences for characters I play, when it comes to if they’re sub or dom, and a bit of an idea of what they’d be like, hehe.

Excuse me! Hello there! I really hope this doesn't come across as rude but it's something I've been wondering about a long time, espically since I don't know too much about asexuals and I haven't found many posts about this particular question,

but since asexuals have no too little interest in sexual feelings, how do you find the motivation to write it? To each their own, of course I voice no judgment, not at all saying asexuals don't understand sex or what is involved in it.

I am gerenally curious, is it a thing where it isn't just simply not being interested in sex and more of an exploration of a part of themselves they can't express in real life? But doesn't that make you not an asexual and just repressed? Is it that you enjoy writing and talking about sex but you don't want to gerenally have it?

I don't think it's that simple, or is it?

I'm so so sorry if this is rude or degrading and please ignore it if so, but if it isn't- I don't have much insight on it, as I am not asexual or aroace myself. I want to understand asexuality and aromance better so I can adapt my views accordingly and have a better understanding of it.

*scratches head* aaaaalright, there's a lot to unpack here. Because yeah, it is NOT that simple.

Asexuality is a spectrum type of sexuality which has one thing in common for individuals from said spectrum: lack of sexual attraction, very little of it, or developing it only under certain circumstances. Sexual attraction is not the same as libido or mood & willingness for having sex.

Some asexual people indeed do not experience libido in works. Some on top of that don't want to have anything to do with sex at all, going as far as avoiding fictional depictions of it.

But next to them there are asexual people who experience sexual attraction after first developing close bonds with an object of their attraction (you might have heard term demisexuality here). Or people who experience it very rarely (you might have heard term gray asexuality/gray ace).

Or people for whom the lack of sexual attraction is not a thing that would stop them from having sex, for various reasons. Some are just horny without the factor of being attracted to someone. Some just like the act, so they go for it, if they find an interested partner(s). Some are completely indifferent, so if their partner/friend is down for it, they're in. Some like the emotional connection that comes with sex. Some want to have biological kids. Some are sex workers. Some are all of it at once lol

And some don't want to have sex irl but find it interesting or arousing to engage with fictional depictions of it or with pornography. Some aren't attracted to irl people but experience sexual attraction to fictional characters (if you are active in selfship circles, you might sooner or later run into people who say they are fictosexual).

In other words, it's a highly individual case. What we have in common is the lack of those famous butterflies and heatwaves at the sight of a human being. What we do later with it, that depends from individual to individual 🤭

So, why as an asexual person, I write about sex? Because I like to. And I like sex, masturbation, and watching allos (aka people who experience sexual attraction) getting horny because it's a different kind of horny than mine and it always amuses me. I work with erotica for my little daily bread. I had a moment in life when I touched the sphere of sex work 'cause the market for people looking for sexual rps is quite huge and money was really tempting - but tight schedule for uni won.

It has nothing to do with repression 🤭 Been there, done that, it's been a complete opposite, and I got rid of this catholic guilt by molding it into religion kink. Beat your inner demons with a spanking paddle.

Let's talk about hyperfixation if you will.

The downsides of hyperfixations, actually.

Because something happened and I want to talk about it and it's gonna be a little venting but also a reflexion.

So my partner and I had this textual rp going on for a few days and I thought it was gonna be pretty long and I got super excited about it. Like, a bit overexcited.

"I'm gonna create two new characters and spend my entire saturday afternoon drawing them and I'll daydream about a secondary plot with them in it and it's gonna be super cool" kind of overexcited.

Thing is, since my partner was the rp master for that one, I didn't know that she planned to stop the thing soon and I got way too hyped and when she said "ok let's stop there!" I had a literal, physical, painful reaction and freezed for a few seconds. I'm not even being dramatic. It's just that the thing I had daydreamed about and planned for literal hours got shattered in an instant and I'm left with two characters that I didn't have time to develop and will never use again and their designs. Which is completely not my partner's fault by the way, I assumed all alone that it was gonna be longer than that.

We have another rp on the side so I'm not feeling too bad per se but that's what I hate about hyperfixations : it's taking over my whole brain, it defines my life for a time and if it's forcibly interrupted I physically feel awful. And kind of stupid because the expectations I had for this were actually way too high for what it was. And it lasted from tuesday to sunday. That's not even a week. What the fuck brain

But yeah this isn't the first time that I've been so into something that I was feeling immense pain when not doing it and oh boy oh man that is certainly an Experience™ because what do you mean my silly little rp came to an end and it gave me a literal headache from the dopamine drop

I have absolutely no regrets tho but I should probably go and communicate with my partner about this-
