The Ariados glares down at Saturn, each of its legs at either side of his body as he lays on the ground beneath it. Saturn's breaths come quick, and every twitch is met with a shrill hiss from the arachnid pokémon.
Saturn seems to steel himself for a moment, his fearful gaze softening to something akin to pity, before turning to sharp determination. He pulls himself back, despite the harsh warnings from the Ariados, until his back is against the wall, and he's looking it in the eye. Strangely, it does not outright attack. Saturn knows this behavior all too well.. it's lashing out due to fear.
He reaches a hand toward it, slowly, and carefully. He stops when it hisses again, still holding his hand out, but not moving it closer. The pokémon stares for a moment or two, looking between Saturn and the extended hand as a trill escapes from it, hisses turning to confused chirps. Then, it moves.
Saturn flinches the moment it leans in closer, letting out a squeak once contact is made. The arachnid presses its head against his hand, tilted slightly to avoid its horn puncturing him. Saturn opens his eyes, looking at it with a surprised, but gleeful chuckle. Then, the pokémon backs off tentatively. Its gaze is still hardened, but it seems willing to share the same space. The video ends as Saturn sighs in relief. The Ariados seems to aswell.]
“Of course Porky is a hero. He was going to end the world because he knew of the shit that was going to happen in the future, and so to prevent those terrible tragedies from happening, he decided to summon a Gigyas to make sure Earth got a quick and painless death.”
Ness: That's... so wrong...
(That wasn't Porky's fault! And he can't know the future. There was no way to! But how am I going to explain that?!)
Twirling the joint between his fingers rather adeptly despite the size difference between both, he inhales sharply while exhaling smoke and words.
"-got some...issues that I wont address? Got some- baggage I ain't opened yet. Got some some bridges burned I ain't ready to rebuild yet...some insecurities I haven't dealt with yet. I'll be the first to admit - that I'm a lonely soul, and the last to admit I need a hand to hold. Losin' hope...strange I know, but I feel most at home when I'm- livin'..." He breathes out smoke, half irritated he can't think up a better wrap up.
Disgust has absolutely no ethical weight. If you are basing your ethical positions on the emotion of disgust you should stop, it is entirely unjustified and leads to a huge amount of harm.
