ID: a comic about lemongrab 1 and 2 from Adventure time. They are both sitting on the floor, lg2 has an unfinished drawing next to him and lg1 is turned away from him, reading a book. Lg2 excited shakes his brother’s shoulder and says “Hey” lg1 looks over his shoulder with an annoyed “ngh?” The second panel is Lg2 touching his cheek nervously and saying “Can I tell you a secret?” Lg1 looks immediately interested and shuts his book hurriedly. The next two panels show Lg2 whispering into his brother’s ear while blushing. Lg1 listens and then looks shocked, dropping his book in surprise. The next panel shows lg2 putting his hands on his knees and smiling fondly with his eyes closed while lg1 shouts “The duke of nuts!” in shock, there is a headbust of the duke of nuts in his speech bubble. the duke of nuts is a humanoid creature with a walnut for a head who wears a beret. The next panel is lg1 asking “why?” with a somewhat judgemental face, and lg2 replying “he’s nice to me!”. The next panel shows lg1 scratching his head in surprise and saying “To think… the duke of nuts and my own brother.” Lg2 is smiling with his eyes closed, blushing slightly. The final panel shows Lemongrab 1 poking his sibling’s chin and asking “are you a lesbian?” while Lg2 shrugs. ED.

Lemongrab 2 looks excited while their brother looks annoyed. Lemongrab 1 asks “Why are yoouu in my bed?” and Lemongrab 2 replies “Aha! It is not a real sleepover if we do not share, besides-” The second page shows them holding a flashlight right into his face. Lemongrab 1 grimaces while his brother loosk delighted. The next panel shows Lemongrab 1 looking miserable with the words truth or dare written above him in a speech bubble. He pauses for a moment and then responds “Truth.” The panel after that shows Lemongrab 2 asking him “Do you have a crush on anybody?” while he angrily replies ”No” in all caps. ED.

Inspired by the Lemongrab level from the video game “Explore the dungeon because I don’t know”, and the fact that Pb can cannonically erase Lemongrab’s memories.

#my writing #lemongrab #lg2 doesn't actually show up in this chapter they will be there in the second one though #also if anyone is weird to me about the internalised femmephobia in this chapter I'll kill youuuu ~ #sincerely a gnc man #like listen. being a gnc man is very complicated and isolating and frightening especially when you're first coming to terms with it #I know people love to depict people like me as like. some sort of fetish #or are incapable of drawing a man in a dress without making him look embarrassed about it #and as gnc men we are so deeply aware of how we're percieved in a limiting way #that a completely neutral part of ourselves is viewed in these weird shameful ways #and this makes depicting the ways we do experience shame and self hatred and questioning #difficult to do #because you do this knowing that there will be other gnc men who see it and recognise the experience and feel comforted #but also dozens of people who will miss the nuance and have you reaffirm their belief that all gnc men are ashamed and self hating #and must be depicted as such #so yeah. #if you are weird to me about this and femmephobic about gnc men in general #ur getting executed #feel the need to specify this because I have seen some really quite hurtful depictions of gnc men get made by people in this fandom #and be passed around without anyone batting an eyelid #so yeah #<3

Lemongrab 3 has several stitches on his face and hand, and his wearing his usual grey uniform. His hands are balled into fists and he seems stressed. Lemongrab 2 has pale yellow metallic skin, and completely blue eyes, they are holding a glowing blue soul stone in their left hand. They have glowing blue antennae, and a mouth like a marionette puppet. The antennae is labelled tracking device, and the soul stone is labelled soul stone actually in their chest. There is writing to the side of the figures that reads Lg2 has had their soul placed in an android body by pb. They’re supposed to continue their duties as Lg’s companion and stop him repeating lg1′s actions.

I think the episode Bad Timing is a good microcosm of the way LSP as a character is handled. In the episode she has a character arc where her jealousy and impulsiveness and unprocessed issues (I’d also add that there’s an element of homelessness related trauma affected her actions, she moves in with her new partner immediately so her paranoia could partly be due to her being dependent on him for housing. ofc. this would require the writers to actually like.. engage with her character anyway) cause serious devastating harm to someone she cares about.
