This is so wholesome and humanising~ I love this head-canon.
Another Mandroid headcanon I feel like @sveene and @vihattu-thethoroughbredofsin might enjoy:
I feel like Mandroid would have a fear of the dark after his accident. He was trapped under debris and his vision and hearing were probably affected at the time. Explosions and intense battles raging in the same room he's in don't phase him, but the dark? Being in complete darkness would most likely give him flashbacks of the Battle of the Bay.
In most of the his scenes in the show, he's usually under some sort of lighting. That was a deliberate stylistic choice with the Emberstone harness he made:

And then there's the glow his Final Form has:

Having some sort of light on him at all times probably makes him feel safer.

This post~ 👌
Even if live action Cylas was gruesome, it would have had nothing on Final Form Mandroid.
Speaking of that, what about live action movie Final Form Mandroid? That would've been downright more horrifying body horror than the animated version.
Exactly exactly
Like, he might have cured the energon poisoning but at what cost?
I'm all for body horror: Transformers edition here, and Dr Meridian made quite an interesting creation out of himself while he was gone

VndsjlvnwdljvndwljvdwnlNVEFJKVNJFKWVNWFJLVENFJLNBFEJLBLNJF BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT EVER - ONLY A MOODBOARD WILL SUFFICE TO CONVEY MY REACTION
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
YOU CAPTURED HIM LIKE PERFECTLY TOO - THANKYOU FRIEND!
So this is a birthday present for the wonderful @sveene. It's based on her RP with Victor. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Matters of Great Importance
Much like the last time, Victor viewed working with GHOST was a necessary evil. Despite his objections and anger at his current situation, the Plague was a looming threat that needed to be dealt with. Whatever the others at the base thought of him, he was sincere in his desire to protect Earth.
In a place with such hostility toward him, he found himself slowly growing close to multiple individuals. One example was currently hovering near his shoulder.
Twitch had become his shadow of sorts much to his initial dismay. Her presence was something he was growing accustomed to. Of all things, he never would’ve imagined that one of the Terrans would willingly go out of their way to spend time with him. That period happened to consist of the robot tormenting him, but she was never malicious about it even though he fully deserved it. He wondered how her siblings felt about it or Alex for that matter.
Sometimes, she just simply watched him while he worked, which he didn’t mind too much. Yet, a barrage of questions were often sent his way. While he was certain she was trying to annoy him, there was no denying that she was genuinely curious about what he was doing. From spending time with her, he was beginning to identify some of her habits.
Today, she clearly had something on her mind. He figured she would reveal herself sooner or later.
“So did you name them yet?” Twitch asked.
Ah, finally. “Name what?” he replied without looking at her.
“All your pets.”
This time he actually made eye contact with her, raising a brow ridge. “I prefer to call them my familiars.”
She gestured with her hand. “Okay, but that doesn’t answer my question.”
A sigh. “No, I haven’t.”
The Terran’s mouth dropped open, staring at him as if he committed some grave offense.
“They need names, Vic!”
He crossed his arms. “Is there some universal law that says so?”
She rolled her eyes like he was an ignorant fool. “It’s supposed to make your bond stronger! You’re telling me you’ve never thought about it?”
“Occasionally.” he said after a pause. A question formed in his mind, but he felt like he already knew the answer. “I suppose you’ve thought about it?” Sure enough, an excited smile appeared on her face. “Wonderful,” His voice was heavy with sarcasm. “It appears that I won’t be getting any work done at the moment.”
He knew that if he sent her away, it would only be delaying the inevitable. She would badger him until he folded.
The mouth on his chest widened slightly when he noticed she was holding a piece of paper.
“You have an actual list?” he inquired with shock, his tail spasming to stress the point. “Please tell me that’s not just for one creature.”
“No. Some of them were easy to think of names.”
“You’re acting like things have already been decided.” He plucked the paper from her hand, ignoring her offended “Hey!” His tail swayed in thought as he studied the list. “These were all your ideas, weren’t they?”
She flitted around him with an air of pride. “Yep!”
“I thought so.” His attitude was stoic.
Now it was her turn to cross her arms. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
He gave her a cryptic smile. “You’ll have to figure that out yourself, kid.”
She huffed and moved near his shoulder again. “Well? What do you think?”
In truth, most of the names weren’t bad, but he didn’t feel like admitting that just yet. He wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity to mess with Twitch a little. It was only fair since she tormented him so much. However, he couldn’t deny how nice it was for someone not to be deathly afraid of him.
He made exaggerated “Hmms” while biding his time, knowing that his silence would make his guest increasingly irritated.
“Absolutely not.” he stated while crossing off a name with a pen from his desk.
“What?” she whined. “I was proud of that one!”
“A misplaced notion.” he deadpanned.
She pouted. “Jerk!” There was a period of silence, followed by her making an exclamation.
“No.” he said in a firm tone.
She angled herself so that she blocked his view of the paper. “You didn’t even hear what I was going to say!”
He gently pushed her out of the way. “I already know I’m not going to like it.”
“If you’re so sure, then what was I going to say?” she challenged.
The scientist let out a puff of air through his nose. “You were going to suggest we ask them what their thoughts are.” He laughed at her surprised reaction. “I know how you Maltos are all about talking things out.”
Her attitude turned to complete seriousness. “It’s fair, right? Your p… I mean familiars already seem to like you a lot. Letting them pick their names will make them like you even more.”
“And what’s your reasoning for them liking me so much?”
Twitch quickly looked around the room to make sure no one else was in earshot. She lowered her voice anyway. “Because I’ve come in here and found them cuddling with you when you’re asleep.”
The mouth on his chest widened as far as it could go, embarrassed and slightly anxious that she knew such a thing. If Lena knew just how much he cared about the creatures… His tail started swaying ominously.
The Terran held up her hand as if she was trying to calm him down. “It’s okay, Vic. No one else knows and I’m not going to tell anyone.”
In the past, he never would’ve believed her. His hatred for Cybertronians wouldn’t allow it. However, after spending time with Twitch, he found himself beginning to like her. Right now, her expression was so open and honest that he found himself relaxing before long.
“Thank you.” His voice was quiet.
She smiled. “You don’t have to thank me, Vic. I do think it would help the others to know that you’re a softie though.”
He shook his head. “No chance, kid. They’ll have to find out another way.”
“So are we going to ask your familiars opinions about the names?” Her face was hopeful.
His usual prickly manner was gone. “I suppose so.” He answered with a smile.

A very heart-wrenching scene from an rp with a friend. Vic is being shown the footage of the aftermath of him being given an experimental drug by GHOST. Here’s the scene that inspired the drawing;
______
The reality of the situation hit Vic like cold water as his vision cleared, the ringing in his head died down, voices came into focus, as did everything else - including the blue-white light of the room he was in. Naturally, he looked down and began to struggle against his bonds, even despite that he had no strength left at all, his movements were violent enough that he broke one of the bonds holding him and further damaged one of his arms in the process.
“**Secure him, for fuck’s sake.**”” Lena spat at one of the masked scientists, who were clearly unfamiliar with the Cyborg. The next thing Vic felt was the strangest sensation he’d ever experienced in his life. With the push of a button, the cables in his head delivered targeted electrical signals into specific regions of his brain, completely paralysing his body from the neck down.
He blinked in shock, not even able to communicate the fear he was feeling as he could not move an inch. Victor was no coward though. He had experienced worse and he was not going to be broken easily. He regained his composure and wordlessly stared ahead as he heard them approach.
“…*’You’re looking well’*, Victor~” Lena mocked, reminding him of why she hated him so, as well as being as potently sarcastic as possible all in the space of one sentence. Vic looked deathly.
Silas didn’t seem to notice, he was too busy making note of what a shame it was going to be to *waste* such a weapon… He hardly noticed that Vic was even human at all.
“Such a feat of engineering and biomechanics~ I am pleased to meet you at last, Victor. Allow me to introduce myself briefly, I am Silas. See me and mine as ah, the clean-up crew. Don’t be alarmed, my men are well trained but nobody here is going to harm you.. That is, unless you *make* them want to harm you..”
Vic’s eyes narrowed under his brow, his jaw set and clenched as he simply stared ahead, allowing his eyes to close for a moment of intense frustration before finally turning his face toward the man who called himself Silas. He noticed Lena standing there and scoffed, allowing himself to grin as he laid his head back.
“…What’ll it be this time, Lena? What, pray tell, the fuck….” Vic lamented, almost deliriously with his voice cracking as he grinned at his pathetic, exhaustive situation.
He soon looked toward Silas as Lena circled around the bed, obviously taking her time for the sheer *fun* of seeing Victor so helpless.
“Silas, is it? Well Si, why don’t you hop up on my lap and *swivel*~ Then, you and your …heh, ‘boys’ here can show me how good of a ‘clean up crew’ you *really* are. Cunt.” Vic seethed out, the venom in his voice as cold as ice and sharper than frostbite. He coldly spat at Silas’s feet, getting him on his ever-so-shiny boots. He was fully beyond giving a fuck anymore at this point and went back to chuckling to himself.
Silas looked down at his boots, not expecting such spirit, but Lena was furious, as ever. If only she could find a way to *silence* that mouth of his…
She stormed over, closing the gap between herself and the scientist, grabbed him under his jaw and then back-handed him across the face as hard as she could.
“Now I have your attention, you *might* wanna shut the fuck up, because I’ve got a *cute* little video, you might wanna see.” Lena whispered to him, as she then turned her attention to the screen. She lifted the remote, it started playing ….the same scream he’d been hearing in his nightmares for days, the same fragments of the fight with Sky he’d also re-lived, were now playing before him in what looked like 4K…. His face changed in an instant as the sound made him jump, the piercing cries and now, *the footage* of what he did as well. Before Vic could even begin to process what he was seeing, his eyes were blinking tears that ran down his face as he watched and listened in abject terror.

Made a mini-ref sheet of my OC ‘Vic’ - This is his humanoid form, albeit he still has six limbs, the long tail and digitigrade legs.
I was chatting with a friend and we were talking about how our characters would cope with space-travel. So, what neat features would they have to help them cope with different planets/radiation levels and atmospheric variations and so on…
So I drew Vic with extra breathing apparatus, or ‘spiracles’ - and there’s some information here about them, how they work and what-not :) think of them like how dolphins breathe, except their job is to extract as much oxygen as possible - and scrub high CO2 levels safely - hence why Vic’s flesh and blood is purple, instead of red.
Feel free to ask questions if you want to know more~

Based on a head-canon inspired by an rp I’m doing, Vic eventually manages to leave GHOST, by walking through a ‘probability gate’ - that he uses to become fully organic, finally freeing himself of the armour that GHOST owned and thus, severing all ties with them. Here, he and Sky (who also takes on a human form) go to space, where they try to build some sort of life for themselves. It’s a very busy place, full of of all kinds of alien life - so here they are just resting for awhile :)

A bunch of drawings showing how Vic ages - as he’s a cyborg and heavily modified, he ages somewhat more slowly, but still has a finite lifespan not exceeding 150 years. In this one head-canon I have, he lives to be 144 and pretty much doesn’t stop working in his lab right up to his last day <:’)

So here Vic’s watching as the Quintesson ship makes it way to Earth, where they’ve come to use the cure they stole from him to control all Plagued Transformers - but he ain’t going down without a fight >:D
