i did a presentation on taylor in my arranging class. We had to pick a songwriter and analyse max 4 songs and then figure out how one could write a song like them or what one would have to do. I chose Taylor because she’s a huge inspiration and I want to write as good as her. I wish I had even a fraction of her songwriting talent. it went so well. i was kind of nervous. everytime i played the song for the class so they could hear what i just told them i relaxed. i wish i could’ve done more than 4 songs. i did all too well, getaway car, yntcd and betty. i also would’ve wanted to include one from her debut album and speak now.
