Life update!

HEY GUYS sorry for the radio silence. Some cool things have been happening!

Firstly, I have a job! I'm now working at Animates which is a nationwide pet store chain that does a lot of really great stuff that I really believe in, and my manager and I have a lot of ideas we'd like to bring into our local store. I'm really excited to be a part of the team and in due time I want to transfer to a Wellington store so I can get back home!

Secondly, after winning a Halloween costume contest (I went as poison ivy and I dressed my puppy as a man eating plant!) Word's getting around that I'm a costumier and I'm starting to get some pretty cool freelance projects!!

Thirdly, where does that leave this blog/my writing? Well. I haven't been terribly active as you can already see, mostly because I've been itching my creative scratch through sewing and crafting projects and do you have any idea how much paperwork comes with getting employed?! Yikes! High Strangeness is now on perma-hiatus until such time I get smacked with the inspiration stick. There will probably one shots and such written sporadically, and usually when a new season of Voltron or which ever fandom I'm hip deep in airs I get inspired. As always, the urge to write more The Watcher content is high, but I actually want to start actively re-writing it one chapter at a time-- the story will be unchanging, but I want to have it flow more smoothly, add in or heavily edit scenes and generally just make it seem less like I wrote it in a month.

On top of all of this, I have to study 100+ modules for work to make me the Best Sales Assistant Ever. So that's where I am!

I'm happy. I'm busy. I'm healthy. I hope y'all are doing great as well, and as always, I love y'all!!!!

Hey guys!

So I’ve been doing a big clean out of my childhood room and I found my old wacom bamboo tablet. It has some wear but it’s all in working order, I have the pen and some replacement nibs too. It’s clearly an older model and I’m not sure how well it would work with newer versions of Windows and Mac systems but!

I know tablets can be pricy. This one was gifted to me and now that I have a Windows surface I don’t need a tablet. So I would like to give this one away, or rather, just charge shipping. So if you’re an artist in need, please contact me and I’ll see what I can do to help. *Please* only contact me if you are in need of or know someone who needs a tablet and that you’re not just gonna get it and flog it or something. I’m trying to do a good thing here ^^;

It can assume various shapes such as hogs, dogs or even as humans but it usually appears as a black, gigantic headless being. The creature usually resides in dark places or deserted houses. However, they especially like living in trees such as the duhat, santol, and tamarind. Aside from its shapeshifting abilities, the pugot can also move at great speeds, feeding on snakes and insects that it finds among the trees. It feeds by thrusting food through its neck stump. Although terrifying, the pugot is relatively harmless. However, the creature is fond of women’s underwear and steals them while they are being dried on a clothesline.
