i used this for my nora boots ! tbh wasnt as amazing as i thought it would be - must work better on some materials than it does on others. it ended up cracking within an hour, and that was after following all the tips and tricks i’d read online.  that said, the cracks didnt get much worse during the day, and the paints defo worked a lot better than other paints i’d tried in the past.  so i would still recommend them!  they’re just not some miracle paints like i believed they would be ); boo

ATTENTION COSPLAYERS:

I would like to make the paint brand “Angelus” known. It is a special paint that is for leather, faux leather, rubber, and similar surfaces.

This is literally the best paint you can buy if you love a pair of shoes, but they aren’t in the right color for your character.

This stuff coats VERY well AND the coats of paint bend with your shoes. This means no cracking!!

In the photos above I took black rain boots and painted them with Angelus Turquoise. As you can see, they don’t look black any more! It’s so good!

I managed to paint two boots with a little one ounce bottle of the paint, and I still have a third of the bottle left over!

The paint dries very fast, so you can put layer on top of layer on top of layer without it streaking.

You can get the paint on Amazon and it comes in every color!

I just really wanted to make this known!! :D This stuff is amazing!

ART REQUEST UPDATE

hey guys !! i’ve kinda been missing a while but i’m slowly getting my shit together as well as other things, the Big Convention is over and now i have more time to spend doing art

I still have another con coming up and things to prepare for that, but in my spare time i’ve been practicing drawing to ready myself for requests

i did kinda have an issue today where the program i usually use STOPPED WORKING but i’m sure i’ll figure it out by the time i start requests again so yeah not long now guys before im back on track! thanks for being so patient with me <3

digital artists and alignments

lawful good: organized layer folders, each folder has a name, all of the layers have names, finished layers are locked

neutral good: names all the layers and locks them but doesn’t do folders

chaotic good: names all the layers but doesn’t lock em and doesn’t do folders

lawful neutral: layers and folders still have ther default numbers, no names

true neutral: no folders and all default numbers. no names. no locks.

chaotic neutral: sometimes uses names. sometimes doesnt. sometimes theres folders. sometimes theres not.

lawful evil: does everything in one layer

neutral evil: merges all layers as they finish them

chaotic evil: a million blank layers with nothing on any of them

#lawful evil #if im feeling particular risky i'll use another layer but merge it as soon as ai'm done #never more than two layers at once #even two is too much #i am a simple man #i cant count past 3 #everything else confuses me #layers r too hard

tips for artists and writers who cant figure out whats “missing”

rooms should be messy to some degree, lived in, and should have personality, even a clean persons room shows they lived there

clothes shouldnt look recently bought unless thats part of the story

no space is empty

no part of the body is perfect

quirks show in accessories, what pocket does the phone go in, headphones or earbuds, how are shoes laced

when was an item bought? not every item is going to be up to date and trendy. age things appropriately

skin picking, nail fidgeting, bruises, chapped lips

quality of make up/self care

waistline of pants/shorts/skirts

are nails taken care of? chewed? polished? etc

damage to objects like helmets, phone, jeans

frizzy, loose hairs

SEAMS IN CLOTHES

signs of failed ambitions/projects. did they try to start using a fitness bracelet or keep succulents? 

everyday allergies

do you have any recurring themes with your ocs? anything that’s like, symbolic among the characters you’ve made? (ie if every character with a certain eye color tends to be evil, or if certain fashion in common has a meaning for the character’s fate or past)

#okay yes they are all gay appart from one #who dies #but also #i used to ALWAYS give characters red hair #it was just my default #and i'd have to change it after i develope them a bit more #so ya #probs because when i was a kid i had a shitty oc that i LOVED who had red hair #he was my second ever oc #and in this story im doing rn fucken 3 of them still have red hair #just different shades #because now i can't picture them without it #oc stuff
