kamado tanjirou: venerating

through you, tanjirou found his religion. to him, there is no thing more perfect in this world- you have to be a god. your presence is the one place where his smile is completely easy and genuine, for every fear and sadness vanishes the moment he inhales your sweet scent. your embrace is so divine to him, it feels as if nothing could go wrong inside of it. sometimes, something as simple as your smile is enough to bring him to tears. the look in his eyes as they gaze into yours is so redemptive and venerating- his aura seeps with worship for you every time he holds you close. you’re his heaven, and he desires to spend his life thanking you for being such, and making sure he stays worthy of such a place.

tomioka giyuu: treasure

giyuu is quiet about his love. in fact, only those closest to him even know it exists. but quietness does not equal weakness of feeling- he cherishes you more than anything, like a hidden treasure. there is nothing that means more to him in this world, so he seeks to keep you carefully hidden from those that could hurt you…because of him. the guilt of that possibility threatens to consume him, and the only way to abate the fear is to hold you close, to pepper your face with gentle kisses, to feel your heartbeat and warmth against his ear, reassuring him that you’re with him, you’re alive…that steady beat resonating through his head coupled with your hands stroking his hair is more valuable than all the treasure in the world to him.

kibutsuji muzan: desperate

the only word that could possibly describe this relationship is desperate. after all, how else could it be? why would the most powerful being on earth hunger after you so, when he could easily have and devour anyone he wanted? you know too many of his secrets- why would he keep you alive if he weren’t desperate for you, and your sweet kiss? and why would you continue to return to evil epitomized- a being that could kill you in an instant if the mood struck him right…why would you crave his consuming embrace so badly if you weren’t desperate?

Naruto Boys with an S/O That Is a Terrible Driver

Content Includes: A semi-real world AU where no one dies and everyone is happy (lol). A fluffy crack bit inspired by my own escapades as a Bad Driver™️. Gender neutral reader, some language.

Itachi

As to be expected, Itachi is very patient and sweet about the whole thing

He largely pretends not to notice your lack of skill, but if you get in a dicey situation, he calmly guides you through it

“Just breathe. Gently put on the brakes. Relax- you’re okay.”

But the reassuring hand that finds its way to your shoulder sets your heart pounding and makes you very much not okay, causing your foot to slip from the brake

“Don’t panic,” he assures. “I’ve got you. It’s under control.”

He also gives you unnecessary praise when you’re doing well, which is cute if not a tad embarrassing

“See?” He declares once you’ve arrived at your destination. “You did a much better job getting here today, and you’re almost straight in the parking spot!”

You can’t ever tell if he’s teasing you or if it’s serious praise, but you appreciate the effort and care regardless

And honestly, your driving soon grows much better under Itachi’s tutelage

Sasuke

Sasuke absolutely cannot stand your driving

He’s impossibly annoyed by it, yet he’s the most annoying one in the situation

He’s definitely the type to obnoxiously shout “Curb!” right before you hit it, and rolls his eyes when you startle at his call and ram into the concrete harder than you even would’ve initially

“For fuck’s sake, Sasuke!” you growl. “I know!”

“Then why did you hit it?”

He’s such a little shit

He’s also the type to bass-blast his music at the highest volume possible, which doesn’t help your concentration

By the time you finally arrive at your destination, you’re frustrated nearly to tears

He notices, his face brightening as he leans in to hug you, peppering sweet kisses over your face

“I’m sorry, babe. You know I’m just messing with you.”

You roll your eyes and hug him back. “You’re an asshole, Sasuke.”

“I know. But I’m your asshole.”

Neji

Neji just doesn’t let you drive

Ever

He doesn’t even want to put himself in that “dangerous” position

But on the rare occasion that he does allow you to drive, he’s such a mom about it

You can bet that he’ll be grabbing the coat handle dramatically

And pressing imaginary pedals on the passenger side

“Neji, what is your problem?” You demand. “I’m not that bad!”

“Eyes on the road, please!” He reaches over and grabs the wheel from the passenger side, startling you and causing you to swerve.

“See? You just made it worse!”

“Pull over.” His voice is calm yet strained. “Of all the ways a shinobi can die, I’m not keen on meeting my end in a car accident.”

You huff and comply with his request, but you have to admit that Neji behind the wheel is a much smoother and less fearful ride

And the way he drapes his arm around your shoulders and rubs relaxing circles at the base of your neck makes you forgive his brusque behavior in a heartbeat

Gaara

Whether you’re a good or bad driver, Gaara doesn’t notice the difference

And between the two of you, you’re honestly the better one

Your car rides are largely spent in silence as he stares out the window and you white-knuckle the steering wheel

He’ll cast a glance at you out of the corner of his eye, studying you in confusion

“Why do you look so scared?”

“I’m such a bad driver, it makes me nervous,” you reply, narrowly avoiding a swerve into incoming traffic.

“I don’t think you’re that bad of a driver.”

Contrary to his words, however, just as you’re about to rear-end someone, Absolute Defense fans out to surround the car

“Um…I can’t drive at all now,” you chuckle. “I can’t see.”

Gaara flashes a rare, dazzling smile. “At least we know we’re always safe. That’s something.”

Kakashi

Kakashi actually thinks that your bad driving is hilarious

Riding with you is a great source of entertainment for him

Every time you skid to an abrupt stop or hit a curb, he can’t resist breaking out in laughter

You know you’re bad and driving scares you, but his behavior makes you even more nervous

“Kakashi, please!” You beg. “I think you should drive.”

He merely sits back in his seat, propping his feet up languidly on the dash.

“You’re never going to get any better if you don’t get practice,” he assures. “I trust you, babe.”

He punctuates his statement with a hand on your thigh, which sets your heart pounding.

“No! That makes it worse!”

He cocks an eyebrow. “Do you want me to move it, then?”

Let’s just say that it’s an absolute miracle that the two of you haven’t been in an accident… yet.
