hmm personally I’m partial to pan or trans peter, but I feel like tony would have picked up on trans peter really quickly! so there wouldn’t be much coming out. while designing peter’s suit, he would have def noticed. he would have included some kind of a binder in his suit :’)

• peter strikes me as kinda pretty closeted. like he gets bullied enough, he really doesn’t need just one more thing kids at school can use as ammo. maybe ned knows he’s not straight, mj probably knows, he probably came out to aunt may, but in general? no one knows

• I imagine he slips up a lot though. since he’s out to his best friend, his aunt, and his gf, the people he spends the most time with, so he gets pretty comfortable making gay jokes

• he probably goes to pride at least once while he’s still closeted with tony. “I just think it’s neat, Mr. Stark!”

• when he eventually comes out to tony, he thinks it’s gonna be this big deal. he thinks he’s gonna have to have some sort of a talk, that he’s gonna have to ultimately come out to all the avengers and it’s gonna be so awkward

• there’s like an avenger’s team meeting and peter just shouts at the end of it “HEY I’M NOT STRAIGHT” because ya know disaster gay. he’s super nervous cuz the room is just dead silent and he thinks it’s gonna be a problem. maybe he starts to ramble with like explanations. “I mean like I like girls but also guys are cute and uh—”

• he tears up because he thinks steve is gonna be upset cuz like he’s from the fifties so that can’t be good news. is tony gonna take the suit back?? is he gonna get kicked off the avengers??? is he gonna get abandoned over something so stupid???

• but then half of the room just laughs and goes,
