Ok I’m like not even 8 chapters into rhythm of war, didn’t read the preview chapters online had the tag/spoilers blocked for months, and what has caught me off guard the most? “Nale’s nuts” just some random unnamed soldier using “Nale’s nuts” as a curse . Like it is SO insignificant but I will not be able to forget it it’s just so ridiculous and hilarious to me mr. javert-type no-nonsense followthelaw herald NALE’S NUTS if he had a cereal brand that’s what it would be called

hi im spiralling cause of this i got two alt meet cutes for you 1) adolin works for a wedding designer and hand beads a lot of dresses and he keeps getting designs that are more and more complicated and eventually calls up the pattern maker (one shallan davar) like dude STOP doing fractal based designs im DYING i haven't been home in DAYS my hands are going to fall off and there was a tapestry needle in my nightmares last night and shallans like. 💞 and 2) adolin keeps commissioning hand embroidered blazers cause [rich girl by gwen stefani] and falls for shallan simply based on how gd good his jackets look now jfc WHO designed these cause he's taking them to an expensive dinner and may or may not lay three embarrassing defecation stories on them by accident
