Ok i think the funniest thing about Anakin and Obi-Wans relationship is when they do the 2 Shreks look at eachother meme and you know theyre about to pull some absolutely batshit tomfoolery.

[Kicks up a leg] idk if people have pointed it out before but the gungan's manner of speaking seems AWFULLY similar to stereotypical west indies slang

Isnt it wild how the jedi order is only the way it is for plot reasons???
Theres no reasonable explanation for it or anything its just like "no they have to be like this bc otherwise a new hope cant happen"
Its not even that their rules are actually That Bad upon closer inspection and discussion it REALLY just seems like they were flawed for the sake of being flawed

Okay but what absolutely baffles me is that, even after they learned that all the clones had inhibitor chips in them (without even knowing their true purpose), the Jedi were just… okay with that?? Like you’ve got an army of men who all have chips in their brains to make them more obedient and you don’t think that’s a problem?? That doesn’t sound like slavery to you? That doesn’t sound like a pretty severe moral/ethical problem?
I love the Jedi, but one has to admit that there were definitely many issues within the Jedi Order that played into their downfall. That’s not me saying they deserved it, because no one deserves what happened to them and people who say that they had it coming bother me a lot. But you have to admit that during the Clone War, the Jedi really did seem to have lost their way (which is, shockingly, the point). It’s just saddening that they never had a chance to find their way again.
