Space Jam 2 Hallmark ornament featuring Bugs Bunny and “Tune” LeBron James. LeBron James spent quite a bit of time as a Looney Tunes character, as he shifted form to match his environment, but he always provided his own voice.

Daffy Duck made after the likeness of a Garfield Goose painting from the set of WGN’s “Family Classics.” This painting by Jesse Silver of artwork I pencilled, found its way into episodes of “Duck Dodgers” and “The Looney Tunes Show.”

“The Daffy Duck Program” a “could have been” primetime show for The WB circa 1997, was conceived by Paul Rugg and John P. McCann. So much fun working with them, Doug Langdale and Tony Cervone on this ill-fated gem. Sometimes you can only replay the great ones in your head.

A life size Daffy Duck standee from a “The Looney Tunes Show” promotion, which somehow made its home in my office on the Warner Bros. Ranch for a time. He wore a dapper hat and watched over many of my treasures, until 2023 when it was time to pack up and go.

What’s Bugs Bunny’s catchphrase? Daffy Duck couldn’t remember that, or any other pertinent facts about his “bestie.” This assured their game show defeat and a most uncomfortable car ride home. From “Best Friends,” the first episode of “The Looney Tunes Show.”
