TIME IN THE MIND
Antwerp, Belgium.
Quick wall painted last August in Antwerp during the “Meeting of Styles”. With this wall painting, I aimed to visually illustrate and convey the significance of the psychology concept "Time in the Mind."
Time in the Mind: A Journey within the Boundless Realm
Time, a concept intangible yet woven into the very fabric of our existence, manifests itself uniquely within the recesses of our minds. It is a realm where minutes slip through our fingers like sand, and hours seem to elongate, compress, or blur depending on our perception.
In the deep recesses of the mind, time defies earthly constraints. It blends past, present, and future, weaving memories and fantasies into an ethereal tapestry. Each moment feels eternal yet fleeting, as our consciousness dances between the present and the ghosts of the past. Whispers of dreams beckon us towards undiscovered horizons. Time in the mind expands and contracts, allowing us to revisit and anticipate. In this delicate balance, we find meaning and purpose. Our memories shape our perception, while hopes and dreams propel us forward. Time in the mind is enigmatic, inviting contemplation of our place in the universe. It reminds us of the fleeting beauty of existence and the infinite possibilities that lie ahead.
In this dance between the ephemeral and the eternal, time becomes more than a mere measurement. It becomes a force that shapes our stories, molds our identities, and fuels our desires. By embracing the fluidity of time in our minds, we unlock a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us, for it is within the depths of our own consciousness that the true essence of time unfolds.

THE KEY TO THOUGHT
Amsterdam, Netherlands
This mural titled "The Key to Thought", painted in Amsterdam, serves as a visual representation of the profound concept of our own potential on unlocking our own thought, as a catalyst for growth, understanding, transformation and evolution.
The Key to Thought: Unlocking Our Potential
Thought is the foundation of human existence. It is the driving force behind our decisions, creations, and innovations. Our ability to think critically, analyze situations, and imagine new possibilities has propelled us forward as a species. But what is the key to thought?
The key to thought lies not only in the exploration of ideas, but also in the relentless pursuit of knowledge and the commitment to lifelong learning. It is through the continuous acquisition of new information and the constant exposure to different perspectives that our thoughts are strengthened and expanded. Curiosity fuels creativity and opens the door to new realms of thought and understanding. But thought is not solely an individual endeavor. Collaboration and open-mindedness are essential elements in unlocking our thought potential. Embracing diversity and valuing different perspectives allows us to see beyond our own biases and limitations. Collaborating with others brings together a multitude of ideas, fostering a collective intelligence that is far more powerful than any individual's alone.
Furthermore, The key to thought is having the courage to question the status quo, to push the boundaries of what is known, and to embrace the uncertainty that comes with personal and intellectual growth. The world is ever-evolving, and so must our thoughts and ideas. By embracing a growth mindset, we can adapt to new information, challenging ourselves to expand our thinking and push the boundaries of what we believe is possible. Learning from mistakes and welcoming feedback allows us to refine our thoughts and improve our understanding. Finally, the key to thought is balance. Our minds require rest, reflection, and self-care. Engaging in activities like meditation, exercise, and hobbies rejuvenates our cognitive abilities, ensuring that our thoughts remain sharp, focused, and innovative.
In conclusion, the key to thought is a multifaceted one. It requires mindfulness, curiosity, collaboration, continuous learning, and balance. By embracing these elements, we can unlock our true potential, expanding our horizons and contributing to the collective body of human knowledge. So let us remember the power of thought and the endless possibilities that lie within our grasp - the key is in our hands.

FALLEN
Fallen, a thought-provoking and visually captivating sculpture that serves as a profound reminder of the devastating impact that humans continue to have on our world and it’s delicate ecosystems.
Each detail of the sculpture, meticulously crafted with precision and care, holds its own story, the cut tree is depicting the solemn journey of a fallen tree amidst a sea of human actions against our planet and it´s ecosystems. The symbolism of this tree trunk is to bear the weight of time and destruction, standing as symbolic witness to the forces of deforestation and as a painful reminder of the relentless pollution that plagues our planetthat have ravaged our once-vibrant landscapes. And the old rifle embedded in the tree is a powerful imagery serves as a poignant representation of the aftermath of our agresive and reckless actions against other cultures and our planet, a stark testament to the consequences of our relentless pursuit of power and "progress".
Fallen, is not merely a work of art; it is a call to action, urging us to take pause and reflect on the ways in which our actions have shaped and are shaping the world around us.
The Destruction of Cultures and the Planet: A Grim Reality
In the relentless pursuit of progress and unyielding desire for comfort, humans have unintentionally set foot on a perilous path towards destruction, wreaking irreparable havoc upon both the fragile equilibrium of our planet and the different cultures that inhabit it. As the inexorable tide of globalization continues to surge across nations, traditional cultures are gradually withering away, losing their intrinsic essence and distinctive character. The inundation of standardized ideas, fads, and technologies has triggered a lamentable decline in the richness of various languages, customs, and rituals that have been meticulously passed on from one generation to another.
Compounded by the rapid urbanization and escalating consumerism, the age-old indigenous knowledge, practices, and wisdom have been eclipsed by the overpowering forces of a mainstream culture. Simultaneously, our relentless exploitation of natural resources, rampant deforestation, and unbridled pollution have wreaked havoc upon the planet. From the heart-wrenching spectacle of the melting polar ice caps to the disconcerting surge in carbon emissions, our flagrant disregard for the environment has placed countless species on the precipice of annihilation and disrupted the intricate interplay of ecosystems that uphold life on Earth.
It is of paramount importance that we awaken to the dire consequences of our actions and ardently strive for a harmonious coexistence that reveres the immeasurable diversity of cultures and safeguards the sanctity of our planet. Failure to do so imperils not only our collective heritage but also the very foundations that sustain life itself. In this era of rapid change and boundless possibilities, we must conscientiously tread the delicate tightrope between "progress" and preservation, carefully balancing our aspirations for advancement with deep respect for the tapestry of life that envelops us. If we allow ourselves to be consumed by blind ambition and thoughtless pursuits, we risk forever losing the intricate tapestry of human experience and the delicate web of life that has nurtured and sustained us for millennia.
The awakening of consciousness and collective action is crucial in healing the wounds inflicted upon cultural diversity and the environment. This requires that we actively engage in efforts to promote and protect the aspect of cultural identity that forms the cornerstone of human society. By embracing cultural exchange and celebrating the unique contributions of each community, we can foster an environment where traditions, languages, and customs can flourish without fear of extinction. We must invest in education and awareness, empowering individuals to appreciate the beauty and worth of their own heritage, as well as that of others.
Furthermore, we must embrace sustainable practices that harmonize human activity with the delicate balance of nature. This entails reducing our reliance on non-renewable resources, adopting eco-friendly technologies, and conserving biodiversity. By acknowledging the interconnectedness of all life forms and acknowledging our role as stewards of this planet, we can foster a future where humanity thrives in harmony with the natural world. Only through collective effort and unwavering commitment can we forge a path towards a more sustainable and equitable future for generations to come. The time for action is now, as the sanctity of cultures and the fate of our planet hang in the balance.

THE UKUKU CHASQUI
Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Last year my peruvian friend Wesr and me painted this mural that draws inspiration from the ancient Inca messenger, the Ukuku Chaski, hailing from the mystical lands of Peru. This enchanting artwork weaves together our different lines of work and various symbolic elements, such as keys and arrows, in order to convey a more symbolic and profound message.
The Ukuku Chaski, originating from Peru, is a fascinating and significant cultural figure. Also known as the "bear messengers," they play a vital role in Inca mythology and history. These messengers were believed to have a spiritual connection with bears and possessed the ability to communicate with the natural world. Symbolizing strength, resilience, and protection, ukuku chaskis were tasked with delivering important messages across vast distances in the Andes mountains. With their distinct costumes and masks resembling bears, they embodied a powerful presence that commanded respect and awe. The ukuku chaski serves as a reminder of the rich indigenous heritage and spiritual beliefs that continue to influence the Peruvian culture to this day.
In the mural the the Ukuku is presented as the central figure, in a magnificent display of energy and strength, like captured in powerful strides, traversing a long distance to deliver his important message. The symbolic use of keys arrows in this mural, strategically placed throughout the piece, serves as a vivid representation of the unlocking of knowledge and wisdom, just as the Ukuku Chaski tirelessly delivered messages throughout the Inca Empire, the key arrows in this mural symbolize direction and progress. They serve as a reminder that communication, both spoken and unspoken, plays an integral role in our ever-evolving world. These arrows guide us towards uncharted territories of discovery, prompting us to question, learn, and grow.
Through this mural, our aim was to emphasize the importance of communication, exploration, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge. In a time where our world is constantly evolving, it is crucial that we remain open to new ideas, new possibilities and new horizons.

KEY & ARROW TO ANOTHER DIMENSION / MURAL
Amsterdam, Netherlands.
I created this mural exploring the profound spiritual meaning of the key and arrow. I sought to capture the essence of these two simple yet potent symbols spiritually and their intertwined significance.
The key, a timeless metaphor for wisdom and enlightenment, represents the unlocking of hidden truths and the journey towards spiritual awakening. It serves as a reminder that within each of us lies the power to unlocking the doors to one's inner self, offering a pathway to self-discovery and self-realization. It embodies the profound potential within each individual to unlock their own desires, dreams, and potential.
The arrow, on the other hand, represents our aim, our purpose, and our quest for direction. It embodies our innate desire to seek meaning, to forge our own path, and to navigate the complexities of life with unwavering focus and determination. Together, the key and arrow bring forth a powerful symbolic narrative infused with the energy of exploration, growth, and spiritual transformation.
Through this mural, I wanted to create a symbolic visual poem of the personal journey towards self-discovery and spiritual fulfillment, aligning our energies with the universe and unlocking the boundless potential that resides within us, guiding towards a more fulfilled and purposeful existence.

Aya Quick wall painted few weeks ago in Amsterdam This wall is inspired by Aya simbol and meaning. Aya is an important Adinkra symbol in Akan culture that represents endurance and resourcefulness. Aya can also mean ‘I’m not afraid of you’ or ‘I’m independent of you’, representing strength, defiance against oppression, and independence. Many people choose to wear Aya drawings or tattoos, claiming that they can feel their power and inner strength. A person who wears the Aya symbol suggests that he has endured many difficulties in life and face various obstacles which he/she has overcome. . #murals #afrika #adinkra #akan #kori #maori #illustration #resourcefulness #endurace #afrikainspired #masks #innerself #murales #straat #painting #skount #mustlearn https://www.instagram.com/p/Ckf2RicIGu3/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Nowadays Portrait Its been a while that we are using our phones like they were our eyes, through them we see and experience almost everything. And through phones and social media we create a role or a social identity that is not than a mask that draws our nowadays portrait. We spend many hours everyday using our phones, taking photos, filming almost everything of our lives, using filters and masks, with the purpose of sharing it on social media. Sometimes even we don't actually enjoy the moments because we experience it through the phone screen, we miss interesting conversations that are happening, because we are texting or looking at social media or sharing something on them. We travel and discover new places but we see them also through the videos and pictures we are all time taking, instead of enjoying the moment. Also we spend hours through feed of different social media platforms, following and looking at accounts of Lifestyle, fashion, beauty..."Influencers" that say us what to wear, what is interesting to do, where to go, how we must look like even letting in us a seed of what to think about different matters. Conditioning us and our thoughts somehow, and in occasions influencing our personality, making us feel ugly, our that our lives are not interesting or making us wish things that we don't need or actually not are interesting for us. For these reasons I think our nowadays portrait/identity is drawn through the eyes of our phones and for the things we share on social media where everybody want to look cool and interesting, but this is actually a big mask of our lives. . #socialmedia #mask #contemporarymask #portrait #portraitphotography #phones #concept #conceptualism #skountart #skount #anotherlife #identity #lifestyle #life #fake https://www.instagram.com/p/CkS2HRyo4k3/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
