Hi anon 🎉 This is such a cute ask. I’ve already seen Flora’s answer to it, but I’m choosing based on the vibes I get regardless of repeats.

Nora and David would get along like bread and cheese. I think they’d like each other a lot and would love to collab.

Tbh, I’m a “Fatou is David and Matteo’s lovechild” truther, but if we are to believe Fatou isn’t related to them, then I think Fatou and Matteo would get along really well. I think they could talk about anything and everything and get each other immediately because they’re father and daughter. Matteo isn’t into Fatou’s fries and milkshake concoction, but Fatou loves Matteo’s sandwiches.

I think Ava and Hanna would be super soothing presences for each other. I see them both as people who are quietly anxious about stuff, but very affectionate and supportive when people open up to them. They’re also always dating someone or another. (Not shocking they’ve both been written into relationships with older dudes.) I also think they’d have a fun time gossiping.

Mailin and Jonas probably already know each other from thrift shops or farm markets or youth volunteering. They’d get along well, but as Jonas was never called out for his less than exceptional tendencies, he’d be utterly baffled and of no help when Mailin came to him for advice wrt Ava. 

I feel like Kieu My and Sam would like each other as well. I feel like they’d like each other’s styles without necessarily wanting to copy each other. I also think they’d unexpectedly be of a lot of help to each other if they talked about dudes fetishizing them because of their race, as well as other race-related topics. I think both their squads would be surprised to hear Sam and Kieu My even talk about such things with each other. 

In my mind, the Incis and Ateses run in the same circles already. Abdi and Ismail have known each other pretty much since birth. They’ve never really understood each other or had anything to talk about, but kid Abdi once punched another kid for messing with baby Ismail. 

Finn likes Carlos because Carlos doesn’t mind quiet people (what with being friends with Matteo) and will carry on a one-sided conversation without needing a lot of input from Finn. Finn is quietly disappointed that Kiki and Carlos moved away because Carlos had promised to let Finn drive his car once he got his license. 

To this day, Zoe doesn’t know Essam once had a crush on her. However, Zoe thinks Amira’s instagram is so fucking cool and thinks Amira is always doing fun things and going to interesting places. Zoe met Amira once and insisted on taking 23093 pics with her.

I think it’s a given that Yara and Leonie would get along, but I feel like Yara would also get along with Sara and think Matteo was a total dick to her.

Josh listens to Toilet Sam’s music and may or may not have bragged to his parkour buddies that THE Toilet Sam went to Yara’s and his school.   

Amira and Kiki separately ran into Sporty Spice while jogging, and they both ended up choosing different routes in order to avoid him. Kiki doesn’t even know “that creep” is the same boy who’s friends with Zoe and dated Nora.

Nora- Gryffindor, patronus: snow leopard, owns an invisibility cloak (left for her in her father’s will), takes the extra curricular art class every year, never really studies but somehow always passes her exams, gifted at charms, likes to sneak out at night and explore the castle with josh (mailin used to go with them to check out the restricted library, but one night in third year filch almost caught them, so she refuses to go with them now), started a dance club with Keiu my and her sister Zoe

Josh- Hufflepuff, patronus: Orca, tutors first years in flying, excels in defense against the dark arts and muggle science, had a crush on nora since he first saw her on the train in first year, finally got the courage to ask her out in fifth year and they’ve been together ever since, quidditch Hufflepuff captain and seeker, invited nora to spend Christmas with him and his family

Mailin- ravenclaw, patronus: caribou, quidditch ravenclaw chaser, vice president of the herbology club, loves dueling, favorite class is Earth magic and herbology, protests against elf slavery

Ava- Gryffindor, patronus: butterfly, her and nora host slumber parties in their Gryffindor dormitory for the cash queens just about every weekend, treasurer of the dueling club, favorite activity is hanging out at the three broomsticks with Nora, fatou and mailin and giving them the latest school gossip

Fatou- Hufflepuff, patronus: St. Bernard, has a pet Pygmy puff named Luigi that she takes with her everywhere, tells everyone about her crush on keiu my, favorite class is care of magical creatures and astronomy, visits hagrid often to help him with his newborn Chinese fireball dragon (thinks she might want to be a dragon trainer when she grows up)

Keiu my- Slytherin, patronus: red fox, speaks parseltongue, favorite class is potions, lets fatou copy off of her in arithmancy because she knows she’ll fail otherwise, agreed “reluctantly” to tutor her (she’s in strict denial that fatou secretly gives her butterflies)

Finn- Hufflepuff, patronus: spotted turtle, muggleborn, favorite class is ancient runes and muggle music, Nora lets him borrow the invisibility cloak sometimes to let Zoe sneak in at night

Constantine- Slytherin, quidditch Slytherin beater, has not been able to conjure the patronus charm yet, obsessed with hating nora ever since she stood him up at slughorn’s party, favorite class is transfiguration, broke his leg at the latest quidditch match and woke up at the hospital wing with a get well card and flowers from a secret admirer

Zoe- Slytherin, patronus: zebra, hates going to class, loves going to quidditch matches, always checks in on Nora and makes sure she’s taking care of herself

Ismail- Slytherin, patronus: hyena, has a pet tarantula, loves brewing unauthorized potions outside of class, got suspended for jinxing a bludger at a quidditch game (after the opposing beater body checked Constantine, knocking him off of his broom)

-loves to mix in edible potions and muggle chef lessons
