because you call hinata your sunshine, he has to come up with a cute nickname for you. and so he decides that you’re his star; lighting his way through the darkness of the world even when he’s not shining as brightly

"Ohh Sunshine! Im home~" You called out from the doorway to your home, taking your shoes off as you go, seeing that his shoes were there too. They were worn, ruggedy and in need of being washed.

When you got no answer, you ventured further into the house, quietly walking around before calling out to him again, "Hinata??? Where are you?"

You checked the bathroom first, knowing full and well that he had some sort of weird connection with bathrooms, one that you never really wanted to question. The next spot was the small kitchen space, then the living area. This only really left the bedroom.

As you walked into the room, you were greeted with a warm sight. Your fiancé was fast asleep on the bed, a notebook on his chest, and crumpled paper all around him.

You treaded over, greatful for the carpet floor that was softening your steps, and picked up a few of the stranded pieces of paper.

The first read, 'Sunshine?' Though it was heavily scratched out, and next to it he had written that it was already your nickname for him. The next piece said, 'cupcake' and had a few doodles of what seemed to be your face on a cupcake. The third paper you had picked up had a few of the more normal nicknames, like baby or love or darling, and his notes on that was that he already called you that interchangeably.

This trended on for the rest of the papers, which you tried to fold neatly, wanting to keep them as a reminder of this.

Finally, you looked to the notebook on Shoyo's chest, watching for a moment as it rose and fell with his breaths. On the open page, it was covered in tiny little stars that he drew, and your name in the middle, as if he had gotten distracted and started to just doodle.

But just below them, he had circled a star, and a small note that said, "they always light my way! "

You let out a soft breath of air, feeling a few tears slip out. You were his Star, perhaps the most important thing to him. He truly loved you. And thats all you could really ask for.

You sat down on the edge of the bed, setting the notebook back down and playing with his hair gently, pausing as he stirred, turning to face you and sleepily smiling, "hello my Star, "

You bent down and kissed his forehead, "hello Sunshine,"

haikyuu boys as soccer players

featuring: kuroo tetsurō, tsukishima kei, tendō satori, suna rintaro, miya osamu, miya atsumu, oikawa tooru, and goshiki tsutomu

the cocky as f goalies: kuroo, tsukishima, tendō, and suna

each one of them is so cocky during games it’s ridiculous

both tsukki and tendō taunt the strikers and midfielders throughout the entire game. especially during penalty kicks

kuroo typically gets cocky pretty quickly after the other team scores a couple points. this leads to him showing off after he saves the rest of the attempts during a game

tsukishima is the kind of goalie that is very vocal about what he needs from his defense and midfielders about his needs and what he sees on the field to make sure they don’t get scored on

queue the yelling at both hinata and kageyama to race back to defend even if they aren’t even defenders

the unstoppable team: miya a. and miya o.

not a whole team but just the twins

when both of them are on the field they literally cannot be stopped

they are the most unpredictable players in the court at all times and they pride themselves in that (mostly atsumu but osamu claims to be the brains behind their operation)

their favorite thing to do is operation catapult

with osamu in the striker position and atsumu in the mid field position they look at each other for a split second and then osamu is already across the field

atsumu proceeds to launch the ball basically to the other goal where osamu should be

this would work 9/10 times if only there was a little more bore twin telepathy that was happening. so it’s more like a 7/10 times

the pretty boy: oikawa

yes this is oikawa. but it is 100% accurate and you cannot convince me otherwise

first of all he is the best on his team and on the field at footwork

he can go through a whole team, because he has both speed and accuracy with the ball at all times

catch him doing spins and breaking ankles

if someone does manage to catch him, and even be a bit physical (because that’s how soccer is)

he flops. everytime. without fail

he’s on the ground so fast and so dramatically and most of the time it works

he is definitely the kind of player that has a good eye for the game. it’s like everything is happening in slow motion, which makes him a really good midfielder so that he’s able to run the offense and defense if need be

he also is the kind of player that lifts their shirts to wipe their sweat so you can see their abs

and then winks at the stands because he’s cocky too

the protégé: goshiki

he is always always always or acting his trick shots, so that if the opportunity presents itself in a game he’s ready

it initially started because tendō told him that he needed to have a signature move (while also dropping the hint that ushijima didn’t have one)

just the fact that ushijima didn’t have one made goshiki want one even more. so he could be the best

so he chose bicycle kicks and is amazing at them

the coaches have to tell him to pay more attention during practice because he’s playing out the scenarios of how his trick shots will look in game

you always seem to know what to say. people admire the ease with which you seem to navigate your life. maybe a few jealous ones even despise you for it. but your strength is your independency. whether the entire world is falling at your feet or not, you don't let your ability to learn and move forward be affected by them. it's admirable how much wisdom you give away for free, how nice and charming you remain even if others refuse to treat you the same and how you navigate life. i hope you know how much you're looked up to. and i also hope that you have someone to lean onto at times. however strong you might be, you weren't made to carry the weight of it all on your own.

18. which is more difficult the title or the summary? - for me it’s definitely the title. if i don’t already have one in mind and i’ve come up with the entire plot and everything is done. i kind of just sit there. and think. and then leave it. and then come back. and stare at it again😭

27. are there certain types of writing you won’t do? (style, pov, genre, tropes, etc) - the only things i can think of is character x character fics and i personally don’t write nsfw though i do read it occasionally!

17. which piece of writing are you most proud of? - out of all the fics that i’ve put out on here, i’d have to say my kuroo angst that you beta read even though it hurt me to write. though i do think that my pieces i’m working on now might take it’s spot

6. if you plan what does your planning process look like? - my planning process looks like a bunch of bullet points and then sticky notes of ideas throughout my day OR more bullet points in my notes app. this process usually happens after i come up w an idea that has been simmering in my subconscious for at least 7-10 business days

28. share a piece from one of your current wips! - this is from my osamu slow burn childhood friends/neighbors to lovers!

- “you have names?” you questioned, a curious look now hinting in your face and your mother smiled, taking her leave to continue unpacking. she figured that you would be fine in the front yard with them, once you figured out that they weren’t that much of an anomaly.

“uh…?” the boys looked at each other for a second and they both burst into laughter, though one was more dramatic, yet again, about it than the other. you kind of just stood there and looked at them with a semi-amused, semi-annoyed expression.

once they caught their breaths the one who hadn’t spoken much piped up, “well i’m osamu. and that is my dummy brother atsumu,” he leaned toward you then and smiled a little too evilly but you didn’t notice as you leaned in closer to hear the secret. “he’s kinda smelly so yer probably gonna wanna plug your nose around him.” to emphasize this he plugs his nose and takes off running.

you take a moment to look between the two replicas before following the one who wasn’t stinky. osamu, you thought to yourself. that was the not stinky one. and when the other boy started yelling, something about how his brother should stop or else he would tell their mom you couldn’t help but keep on running away from the stinky alien, and after the brother who had let you in on the secret.
