I did a seventeen version of it, so i thought "why not do ateez as well?". I got a rush of motivation I completely stopped working on my finals to make this.

I would fight them (and maybe win):

Hongjoong: Yes you read that right. I would definitely fight this man. Would I win? Maybe not, but I have this crazy Wooyoung-like desire to annoy him until he fights back. Maybe he is a threatening captain, maybe I would go home and cry, but at least I gave my best and annoyed the man.

Wooyoung: I don't think you're surprised here lmao, this guy I believe would love to fight anyways (not really punching and shit but more like being sarcastic as hell). Fighting with him would be more like a game. I think I would lose still because I lose patience easily, but at least I would try.

Yunho: I think it would be really fun. He is very sweet tho so I won't be mean ofc but it would be nice and fun. Like a watergun fight or a pillow fight, smth like that.

I would definitely lose:

Jongho: Are you even surprised here?? I mean, I could win in a way, bcs he is too shy and would just flee the fight. But if he actually was daring he would break my head with one hand while singing Black Cat Nero

Seonghwa: I know that he is very sweet irl, but his on-stage image is very intimidating. I don't really want to fight him in the first place, I just want to play at Animal Crossing with him yk. If I really want to fight i'd just hit his character's head in the game with a net.

Yeosang: No need to say more I think. Even though he is very shy and sweet, just like Jongho I feel like with a bit of confidence he would break my arm very easily. He wouldn't do it on purpose, this boy is too strong for his own good

San: His stare is too intimidating. I would shy away. Like yk the playful/confident stares he does sometimes? These ones. They're too powerful, I cannot fight this. It's unfair. Or I close my eyes while fighting but then its just impractical.

Mingi: I do not want to fight this man. I want to cuddle with him and fall asleep on him.

𝐀𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐳 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬

Hi! I'm back with an angsty kind of scenario, hope you'll like it :)

Also I saw ateez last week in paris and i'm sad it's over so that's why the scenario has angst x))

some parts feel cheesy too i'm sorry

Context: the members are very busy with tour and promotions, it has been a while since they had a break. And after a very long day, they come back to your shared appartment and have a meltdown.

Hongjoong:

Being a leader and one of the oldest members of the group, Hongjoong always puts his members and the group's success before his own well-being. He does the same thing with you; he'll hide how he feels as much as he can, because he doesn't want to be a burden to anyone. He thinks he can handle listening to others' burdens and taking care of his own by himself, but that's not how it works.

When he got home, he was quiet. He always was, focusing on taking off his shoes and jacket before greeting you with a kiss. But this time it was different, the atmosphere was heavy, when you got close to him you could see how tense his shoulders and jaw were. You joined him in the entrance of your appartment, and stood right in front of him. The fact that he kept looking down confirmed your suspicions; he did not dare look at you in the eyes, we all say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and you would see very well how bad he feels. You softly brought your hand up to cup his cheek, and caressed it with your thumb. Then asking with a calm voice "is everything okay?"

He waited for a bit, and then shook his head from left to right as a no motion. His bottom lip started shaking quickly and his shoudlers as well, as if all the tension he kept in was breaking free. He then started crying, his arms finding their way around your waist and his head hiding in the crook of your neck. You stayed like this for a long time, before you accompanied him throughout his night routine: taking a bubbly bath, eating a big bowl of his favorite noodles, and falling asleep in front of his favorite movie. Not much words were needed, only actions and taking a break from work.

Seonghwa:

Seonghwa is a bit like Hongjoong: he tends to keep his darkest thoughts to himself. He talks a bit to Hongjoong, and sometimes to his parents too, but he keeps things very broad and doesn't say too much so people aren't worried about him. When it comes to you, he speaks up very rarely about how he feels, each time its right before having a meltdown. And you both feel when it's about to happen. You both know that when Seonghwa works for months without any break, he has a hard time actually resting and keeping a positive mindset.

Before a break down, he comes home as usual, but doesn't bother showering or changing clothes. He goes straight up to you and asks for cuddles. His nose against your neck to smell your perfume/your hair if its long enough, his body in full contact with yours, as if to feel protected. Also if you're wearing a hoodie he'll put his hands in your pockets, if it's a normal shirt he'll hold your waist underneath it, because it comforts him. He may cry a bit, but the contact with you calms him instantly and all the pressure from work and not seeing you for weeks vanishes.

At some point he'll try and convince KQ to bring you on tour, using as an argument that you're his stress-relief partner.

Yunho:

Okay but the idea of Yunho breaking down from stress and exhaustion breaks my heart fr. He would hide his despair SO well that you felt guilty when you finally noticed how bad he felt. But he wouldn't blame you, never, he would say that if anything it's just his fault for hiding things from you. When he decides to talk to someone, it would be to Hongjoong or Mingi at first. Both would listen to what he has to say, of course, and they understood how he felt more than anyone else since they felt overwhelmed by work as well.

Both of them would also tell him to talk to you about it. To get comfort and reassurance from you. It's kind of cheesy but a lover, if the person is the right one, is perfectly able to help and reassure its partner. This is what relationships are for.

So Yunho would talk to you about it.

He would take you to the living room, and both of you would sit on the sofa, facing each other in a disturbingly serious way. He started talking, his eyes avoiding to look at you, playing with his fingers as if to distract himself. But it didn't work. His voice got weaker and he felt a knot in his throat, indicating he was about to cry. When he finally looked at you in the eyes, you thought you were going to cry too. His eyes were red and full of tears, but he still had his bright smile, which looked way sadder now. Of course, you listened to him and helped him through his break down, and that's when he realised that Mingi and Hongjoong were right: he can fully rely on you.

Yeosang:

Yeosang has always had a hard time understanding and sharing his emotions. Wether it's anger, sadness, fear, he tends to keeps everything to himself unconsciously because he doesn't understand these feelings, and doesn't know how to let go of them.

So for his break down, I think that it's his body that will "give up on him", in a way.

Yeosang is a healthy man though, he takes good care of himself. But working 14 hours a day, for weeks, and then months, while not being able to see you or his family really brought him down. Being far from home made him sick, he was stressed, he was tired, he was losing his appetite. Maybe he even started overthinking things: he fully trusted you, but as more weeks passed, a little voice in his head kept telling him that maybe, maybe you would cheat on him with someone else. He felt so guilty to think that, and it made him even more sick, of himself.

Days went by and he slept less and less every night, and ate less and less every day. His body couldn't take it anymore, so during practice Yeosang fainted.

The agency took things seriously and gave a 2 weeks break to the members afterwards. The members told you about Yeosang's condition, but seeing him in real life was painful. He was pale, paler than ever, he had lost cheek fat and his dark circles stood out the most.

You both hugged as if years had passed (at least it felt like it), and since then Yeosang has been more open about his feelings than before.

San:

I think San is one of the members who would open up the fastest among the members. He wouldn't keep his thoughts and pain to himself, and he insisted that your relationship would build itself around that: trust and openness. So would always tell each other how you feel, without filters.

So when San really started to feel drained, and I mean mentally drained, he did not hesitate to talk to you. It was through a call though, because he was abroad, on tour. It felt terrible to see you through the screen when he missed you so badly. He wanted to hold you, to feel you, to smell you. He told you that at some point and he started crying. You felt truely powerless, but your words gave him the bit of strength he needed to finish the tour.

You both ended up falling asleep with the call still on.

Mingi:

I think that Mingi really has a hard time with words, at least when it comes to expressing himself fully. So in my opinion he'll keep his exhaustion and stress to himself until he come back home to you. So he can get comforted in your arms.

Just like Seonghwa, he would come home and say nothing, only seeking your touch and protectiveness.

He sometimes has a hard time to wait until he gets back home to you. In this case, he asks for pictures of you, of what you're doing. If you call each other you talk for a bit and then do your own activities on the side, with your cameras on. It reassures him, he knows you're waiting for him at home. And anytime he lifts his eyes from his lyrics book, he gets to see you. Your eyes focusing on the tv screen, watching the latest episode of your favorite tv show, and not noticing him looking at you with hearts in his eyes.

Wooyoung:

Honestly I think he would either act like Seonghwa, like Yeosang, or like San. It all depends on the context and you guys' relationship at the time.

For example, if you just started dating, he would be the type of guy to call you often, to ask for pictures, and send a lot of texts anytime he misses you or feels down.

But with time, it's not enough to comfort him, and he wants more. So he waits, for a painfully long time, until he can see you in person so that he can hug you and always stay close to you, sticking to your side like a leech until he feels better. Be careful, during that period of time, if you refuse his cuddles, he'll be upset.

Finally, and I think that's peak Wooyoung style: if you guys got in an argument before he leaves, he'll be like yeosang (but still differently yk). He'll keep everything to himself and work until his body gives up on him. He doesn't want to make you or the members worry on purpose, but his pride tells him to not contact you since the argument. His stubborn self just wants to be right and make you apologize first.

Which you did. After you heard what happened you called him. He tried to pretend as if everything was fine, but it truely wasn't. You scolded him a bit, and then apologized. And he did too afterwards.

Jongho:

Even though Jongho is quite shy when it comes to feelings and stuff, I think it wouldn't be that hard for him to come up to you if he was having a breakdown.

I still think that at the beginning of your relationship he wouldn't want to bother you, so he would seek his hyungs' advices and help to release his painful thoughts. At some point though, they would ask (without any judgement) "why aren't you talking about it with y/n? It's your significant other after all".

And then he realised that you had the right to know how he felt, to help him as much as you could, and the same thing on the other way around. So sometimes he calls you at the end of your day, or at the beginning of it, always adapting himself to your timeline so he doesn't wake you up at 3am. Most of the calls are just him asking you about your day, so he listens to you while looking at you on the screen of his phone with a tiny smile on his face. Your voice soothes him, and the pressure on his shoulders evaporates quickly. Listening to your voice makes him forget about his important duty in the group as a young main vocalist. He becomes your boyfriend, that's it, and that's more than enough for him.

got a request for jeonghan, so here it is! I had quite a hard time writing this one :’) i might rewrite it in the future

Yoon Jeonghan is a confusing man

he always jokes around, in dating situations as well

he flirts but not really???

with literally anyone he finds pretty too

its like he doesn’t believe in boy & girl friendships, but at the same time he never goes as far as making people actually fall in love with him

as a result, he doesn’t make any new friends, and dates no one either

very clown-like behavior

but if you tell him that he’ll deny it

at some point he starts jokingly flirting with you, since you work for Hybe as well

and for the sake of the story, you don’t react like others

other people were flustered and giggled at his pick-up lines (some, rare as well, didn’t react at all and told him to leave them alone)

you, being different, answered to his flirt with flirt

it confused him at first but he went on, and you did as well

so almost every day (any time you crossed paths at work) you either commented each other’s outfit/haircut/makeup look, or said a cheesy pick-up line, or anything that would make people around you roll their eyes and laugh quietly

he truly found you attractive and funny, and you did as well

maybe you’d consider yourselves as friends if you knew each other well enough

because you both joke around and stuff but you know nothing about the other

it takes some time for you both to notice it

once jeonghan does, its almost too late

he had seen you many times with one of your coworkers, you were great friends, and he asked you out on a date

Jeonghan didn’t show any reaction, but deep inside he felt jealous

either because he wants to be the only one to be flirted with by you

or because he knows that this date between you and your coworker could lead into something deeper, like an actual relationship

and he didn’t want that

but he didn’t want to show it, and at the same time, if he didn’t interrupt your co-worker’s date proposal, then his chances of getting in a more-than-friends relationship with you would be gone

because he actually wants this more-than-friends relationship

teasing you everyday made him grow fond of you 

he memorized your work schedules, noticed when you changed something with your everyday makeup look, when you bought some new clothes, or when you changed your perfume

he was falling in love with you real fast, and couldn’t let you slip through his fingers, going with someone else

so he interrupted your coworker while he was asking you out on a date, pretending that there was an emergency meeting you had to attend

so you followed him in the corridors of the building, a bit surprised by the whole situation

when you got in one of the many meeting rooms, no one was there, only the two of you

so he used this opportunity to tell you how he really feels about you

he seems kinda distant in his way of saying things? jeonghan always sounds a bit detached from things when he tells a story or speaks important matters

but he is very honest with you, he looks at you straight in the eyes and just tells you all the things he feels for you, even how jealous he was when he saw your coworker trying to ask you out

From then on, you started dating

at first you went out a lot, going to the museum, or some coffee shop, basically anything that could make you see each other

a bit of physical touch was progressively added, then some sincere compliments

all of this before your first “i love you” 

then you started sleeping at each other’s place

the members knew you already, and they were like “omg they’re finally together! what took you so long??”

they liked you lmao

but jeonghan preferred the intimacy of your appartment, its like he left the dorms at some point, because he was always at your place

cooking together was your thing

more like cooking experiences, because it was messy everytime

you once tried to make pop-corn in a frying pan, but there was too much corn in the pan so it overflowed and went everywhere in the kitchen, making a big, big mess

you even messed up some pizzas once

so you end up ordering take-out most of the time

also your dates go on, its like a habit, once every week (except when hes on tour) you go out somewhere to discover a new place

this involves you being a part-time photographer for jeonghan lmao

you never ask him to take pictures of you, but he still does, when you’re not looking, and when you look like your most natural self, the person he fell in love with

also jeonghan is very much in the traditional korean couple idea

so he celebrates your relationship’s anniversary every month during the first year, just like koreans do

he loves matching outfits, accessories, pins and everything

he also likes trying out your hobbies

so if you paint, he’ll try, same for reading, drawing, sculpting and stuff

sometimes it looks bad but hes very dedicated to anything he makes

at some point he’ll make a storage shelf in which he’ll put all of the artworks you made together, you often find him looking at it with a coffee in hand, as if he was admiring a museum’s masterpiece

he makes plans quite fast with you, in his mind at least

he projects himself a lot with you, but doesn’t want to scare you so he keeps it for himself at the beginning

like he always wanted to adopt a kitten and a puppy, giving them the names of some of your funny artworks, like “kerfuffle“ or “gobbledegook”

ofc he wants to get married, and maybe have children as well, if you want to

in the end, he went from joking around about love to getting in a very serious realtionship x)

first of all, i think that jeonghan isn’t that fond of sex

i think he’s one of the members who has had the least one-night stands, if not zero

he never flirted as far as getting himself in a sexual thing with someone

so he doesn’t have much experience with you, and i think he’ll get shy lmao

poor man can’t look at you without blushing  h a r d

but once he gets really comfortable, he becomes more and more of a tease

his dominant side shows more, he talks more and teases you both with his words and acts

because he enjoys seeing how flustered you become when he does

as we know, he is the most sporty guy with absolutely NO stamina, so he rarely does more than one round 

he is VERY good with his hands 

like he analyses your reactions over his touch, and knows what to do to stimulate you 

loves kisses too, everywhere, mostly in your/his neck

he also likes when there are risks of being walked in, or heard

he loves the thrill of it, and he feels some sort of pride knowing that people are hearing you moaning his name

speaking of moans, this man is noisyyy

when he isn’t talking to tease you or ask you how you feel, he just moans and groans

his low groans in your neck always make you shiver, and he knows it 

aftercare with him is always either a bubbly bath, or just you both staying naked on the bed, cuddling while waiting because you’re both too lazy to move

at some point you’ll go shower because the heat of the act left, and it’s cold quite fast

I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a while! I was working for my finals, and now that I’m done I can post again! 

Here is the beginning of the “Ateez as your boyfriend” series, I haven’t done all the members of seventeen yet, but I’m working on it as well, it’ll come very soon!

So, Kim Hongjoong!

based on his mbti, the man is a lover of love

he is a hopeless romantic, and has a crush 24/7

he loves having a crush, daydreaming a bit about the person that attracted him

it kind of frees him from his busy everyday life

it inspires him for some of his lyrics as well?? (like i know ateez songs are about rebellion and stuff but i’m sure that this man right here has many romantic and cheesy songs about his ex-lover(s) or/and crushes)

anyways, so as I said, he has a crush on basically anyone

he never truly expects anything, like no relationship whatsoever, he really just enjoys the feeling of liking someone

so when he has a crush one you, he doesn’t expect much from it

maybe he saw you at a museum or in a shop or whatever

and he double-checked you like “oh- oh, they look great” (in his head ofc)

and maybe he liked your vibe, your outfit, whatever

he ended up giving you quick looks during your whole visit (if it’s a museum), like a shy kid

he knows he won’t see you again anyway because of his work, and [insert city name] is a big city, so he makes sure he memorizes you well

it really sounds weird but like

he WILL write about you, so he needs to remember details to talk about in his lyrics

As soon as he got home, he started writing his song, it was very quick lmao

so when he was done, he was satisfied and could go back to his work

until he saw you again, at the agency

his eyes opened wide and his jaw almost fell to the floor

but turns out you had to work together, because you were in charge of the production of some music videos, so you had to meet with the members to talk about the aesthetic and the mood of the songs, and what to tell in the video

the members quickly saw that hongjoong was acting weirdly around you

like during a meeting, anytime you looked at him he would look away from you, anytime he spoke up his ears would turn red because he knew you were watching him

so they mocked him lmao

and he threatened them back

but they’re ateez, they don’t really care, so they continued

until it got to you

you heard the members being like “hongjoong-hyung have you seen y/n’s haircut today? oh i’m sure you have right?”

“remember when he drew them?? in a cartoon-ish way, it looked cute tho”

“yeah, i want you to draw me too!- why not? is it because they’re your crush and i’m not??”

you were very confused and curious at the same time

so one time your curiosity took over, and you called hongjoong after a meeting with the members (ofc they mocked him when they heard you call him lmao)

you blutly asked if there was someting going on, because you heard stuff from the members, and you needed to know if you had done something wrong, or is they were mocking you for something. not even once considering he could actually like you

he would giggle shyly, hiding his face with his hand

and then he was fully honest with you

he said in a suprisingly confident way, that he hoped something would develop between the two of you, because he really appreciates you

and he asked you on a date btw

i know right

he couldn’t believe it either

the date went very well, you went to the cinema and then ate at the convenience store bcs you were hungry

it was very fun! and both of you started to get attached to each other

you got close very fast, you saw each other a lot at dates, your appartment, or his recording studio

you would just mess around a lot, laugh, eat, sleep, whatever

at some point he just HAD to tell you how much he loved you

you were both in his studio, you had drank a bit, hongjoong more than you, to give himself a bit of courage

he played the song he made after meeting you for the first time

the silence was pressuring to him, while you listened attentively to the song

then you looked at him, confused at what it meant (not really understanding that it was about you)

so he told you

his confession was a bit clumsy, he wanted to do well but he was too stressed, so stressed that he stuttered a lot

but it was also very sincere, his eyes did not leave you, the light reflecting in them made them look so bright and passionate that your heart started speeding up

when he finally said “i love you”, you smiled, and giggled like a child

his eyes were still on you, and you felt your ears burn and redden

you told him that you loved him too, in a quieter voice, shy to let the three words out

he smiled widely, he heard what you said, but he just had to tease you a bit

so he came closer, his face inches away from yours

“what did you say?” 

so you said it again, with a tiny pout on your lips

and he kissed you right after

i’m sure that even though he keeps showing his hate for physical touch on TV, he actually loves it

but only with you :)

when he gets home from work he comes to you and kisses you on the forehead, a hand holding your waist or caressing your back

will get grumpy if you don’t accept taking a bath with him >:(

while watching tv he either holds your hand or puts it on your thigh

same when he drives

loves spending special evenings or afternoons with you

like you both going shopping, taking pictures and enjoying the city

or discovering the new pet cafe <3

maybe an evening customizing some of your clothes, sat on the floor of the living room, with some 2000s songs playing in the back

or you dyeing his hair !

you also cook together at least 2 to 3 times a week

because you’re both bad at cooking but you want to get better

at first it was chaotic, now it’s better

having hongjoong as a boyfriend also means being a new parent for ateez

some of the members (like wooyoung and mingi) will call you mom as a joke

when they come to the appartment (randomly most of the time), you’ll have to handle them with your boyfriend, as much as you can

but hongjoong’s patience is so low you end up handling them yourself while he tries to beat up yunho in the back

hongjoong really has no patience, in your relationship its better

but he still gets angry easily

luckily, he doesn’t give you the silent treatment, he directly confronts you about what he thinks and what made him upset

very jealous, protective, and a bit possessive as well

at first it annoyed you a lot, so you told him and now he controls himself better

but he still always has a hand around your waist during social events, just so people know that you’re taken

i think that hongjoong “weak” side would be how shy he is when it comes to compliment you

he shows support through actions, he encourages anything you do in life and makes sure you know how proud he is of you

but its always hard for him to put it into words

when you’re not here he can describe you with the most loving words, and praise you as if you were a goddess (which you are for him)

but once you’re there he just giggles and smiles like a child

if you get prepared for an important event for example, and you arrive with a gorgeous outfit, beautifully done hair and all that
