SZPD + ASPD culture is not understanding why 99% of drama even happens. You're not just pretending to be upset so people listen and the boredom goes away for a while? You don't exaggerate your emotions all the time for laughs? You actually think this matters? Sounds exhausting.

Schizoid culture is explaining to people who romanticise your apathy why it's not as nice and helpful to be apathetic all the time

Sure, maybe it is nice to not care about what others think, or not be bothered by anxiety over the past or future or whatever

But it's not nice when you're so apathetic that nothing motivates you to even do the most basic things in life, and pleasure, happiness and enjoyment are non existent due to apathy

I know it hurts people when I ghost them. But I'm not sorry about that. What I am sorry about is the fact that I lied to them for years by pretending to care about them. They thought they had a dear friend in me when I was only trying to behave the way I thought I was supposed to behave. No more. No more lies. Better for me and better for them that I stop pretending to be someone who cares about them, even if that means they hate my guts for hurting them. At least now I'm giving them the respect of not lying to their face about how I feel.
