Hi anon. I apologize for not getting to this in a timely manner.

So...

The goal is to post throughout the week when there is a prompt queue. There isn't often a queue of more than two or three prompts so I will sometimes stagger them out.

I will admit to being absent for a couple of long stretches due to personal circumstances.

Which brings me to this...

The only thing I set out to do with this blog is put out prompts from other fic readers and writers. I don't really have the tools or skills to produce great graphics or come up with clever challenges. So I kept it real simple and limited to a place where ideas could be shared.

And yet I am still struggling to keep up because in my life it is metaphorically pouring right now and has been for months.

So, if anyone has any interest in taking over or folding the blog posts into their own, please shoot me a private message. I want nothing more than for this to continue to be a place for writers to be inspired to write and I don't wish to stand in the way of that by being inconsistent.

It's late, all hotels are full, and he is exhausted. The other renter, a handsome stranger named Patrick, offers to let him stay the night until they get ahold of the rental office in the morning. Sharing the complimentary bottle of wine, the spend the evening talking. And maybe more.

(Maybe I saw Barbarian last night and thought, "This would be a really sweet meet-cute if it wasn't the beginning of a horror movie.")

There's a clip of season six ideas, from that "Best Wishes" special they did, and one of the ideas is "David gets cold feet." I'm prompting a fic where the town thinks David's getting cold feet, but it turns out to be a funny misunderstanding. (Actual cold feet because of a product? Helping Patrick read for another community play?)

Because that's the only way I can see David getting "cold feet."

A misunderstanding over cold feet won't be much of a stretch considering the man wears sweaters in the summer.
