I try too hard

So I’m going to the harry potter symphony event tomorrow (they show the movie but the symphony plays all the music live) and I don’t have house robes, right? The only slytherin merch I have that I can wear is two snapbacks and a scarf. So I decided I’m gonna go for badass modern witch look so I’m gonna wear a dark green tee, black jeans, beat up combat boots and my leather jacket with my scarf. BUT WAIT I’m really fucking extra, so I spent 40 minutes formulating a long wear, hydrating, non toxic green matte lipstick duo to show off my slytherin pride. One side of the compact is the lipstick, the other is green cosmetic glitter for a ‘magic’ touch. I’m way too fucking excited about this oops sorry

Quick question

Okay so

I was having a discussion about accepting different sexualities and genders etc. and had brought up how a lot of people online have taken to calling homosexuality and being transgender as a ‘mental illness’, a ‘deformity’ and as a ‘disability’. This led to the question:

“Are people born homosexual or feeling they should be the other gender? Is it something that originates in genes? Or is it a choice, a discovery made as one grows as a person?”

So I was wondering,

What do you guys think? Do you think it’s something people are born into through genes somehow? Do you think there is a scientific way to explain homosexuality and transgender origins in a person? Or do you think it all happens and is ‘discovered’ as a person grows and learns more about themselves?
