Carlos is probably tired having to explain why people call him chili when he has told that story a lot of times. I think sometimes he wishes there was a story.

Aside from almost breaking the piano, Carlos being clueless about signs is something I relate to. Except Leo, I do not know literally any signs. I hope Charles does not burn the pancakes or his kitchen while attempting the recipe.

Versainz is like an old photograph. Edges brown and ruined, tucked in between other photographs much more washed by the sticky plastic of the album they are forgotten in. If you try to take it out, the photograph will stick and cling to the others so badly that just to take a glimpse might result in a splotched memory. The colours are still vivid, the surface of the photograph grates your nerves as you caress it, and through your fingertips, there is the vague sense of warmth, a short burst of recollection- laughter, crinkled eyes, and playful shoves... Before it all died out again.

And then the light flickers back on, you're unwilling to put the photograph back, to forget it again, because once you've tasted nostalgia-
