so i did a thing,,,,,,and i have a story that comes with it //honestly i’ve had an urge to make this video since weeks ago when i stumbled onto this remix and my brain did the thing with wild story-plot line and imagination again asjsjdjdd,,, so read below if you’re curious \o/ i may write it as a fic one day hm

(au tags: supernatural, greek mythology, mythology in general)

warning: i don’t know much about greek mythology, so it probably isn’t going to be entirely accurate. to avoid that, i may not mention the small details so take it as it is.

in this au every bts member plays a role; the story setting is vampire-ish like, but they aren’t vampires, but demigods— this au, in my case, demigods aren’t always an offspring of a human and a deity. they can be described as demigods if they are an entity that has divine status and supernatural abilities. 

so now off to introducing the members’ role in this story:

jimin is the main character, and he’s a pure-blooded demigod. (here comes the reason why i mentioned ‘vampire-ish’ like— pure-blooded demigods are rare, and they tend to make the other demigods go crazy at the scent of their blood, even more so for lower deities. demigods are often alright with controlling the urge but the lust is still there. for minor deities, the lust gets uncontrollable. their eyes start to dilate and their mouth starts salivating— it’s a triggering response.) 

jimin is a powerful leader of an organization fully fledged of minor deities, middle-class people. his abilities involves the mind, psychic abilities, wherein he can bring a crippling, illusory pain through the psyche. 

demigods in my au have the possibility of being terminally ill, and jimin is one of the unfortunate ones. jimin holds a significant prestige in this universe, so he finds a way to defeat it by making a contract with a daemon. 

and that daemon is suga (again, this au in my case daemon’s are good spirits, but they can also be bad. imagine a meter where one end is good and the other end is evil— suga lean towards more to the evil side). he resides in jimin’s psyche, in jimin’s head. he helps jimin put a temporary halt to the illness that used to weaken his physical and mental abilities, but in return suga feeds off his demigod energy when he is unconscious (asleep, per se), resulting in night terrors and sometimes a mishap (demigods are supernatural beings– if their divine energy is sucked off from them they start turning into stone— in my au anyways lol).

jimin calls suga his friend, no matter how much pain and torment it brings, but whether suga thinks the same it’s up to you.

second main character is jungkook. jungkook is also a demigod, but raised among humans. jungkook doesn’t come into the picture until later. 

his powers are similar to jimin’s— his psychic abilities involve more towards being able to sense spiritual tides. this ability is exceptional among others. he senses feelings, emotions and the intentions of others— it’s like mind-reading, in a way, but not exactly. being raised among humans was almost torture for him day to day. one day he couldn’t take it and finally ran away from home— that’s when jimin found him, and took him under his wing (not something that jimin often does, but he was advised to do so as jungkook’s ability was rare, and he may be the solution to the predicament jimin has with his daemon). jungkook with his exceptional prowess eventually becomes jimin’s right-hand man, where he becomes his advisor, and protector.

the other bts members are jimin’s ‘people’. (in this world, it is a privilege to serve pure-bloods.)

jin is a demigod and acts as a philosopher and seer for jimin. he has supernatural insight and sees visions of the future, and helps jimin with his political decisions. he is also the one to advise jimin to take jungkook under his care— with his sharp predictions of jungkook’s capabilities, that can help jimin for the better. 

namjoon is a demigod as well, and he acts as a mentor for jimin. he has the ability to possess incredible wisdom, having greater understanding and realization of situations and events. he helps jimin as well in political decisions, but more towards logical thinking in comparison to jin. 

taehyung is declared a demigod— but only few knows the truth, and that includes jimin. taehyung is a fallen angel, and his wings are ripped out, non-existent. he holds no supernatural abilities other than his physical strength being greater than usual. he helps jimin with outside duties, matters that need to be dealt with among humans. he is incredibly loyal to jimin, and some may say he is slightly infatuated— therefore gaining the nickname ‘the master’s watchdog’. 

jimin’s encounter with taehyung is special to the both of them. it was when taehyung was only just cast out from the heavens— in his weakest moment— jimin having seen him in a forest where he was laid on the ground; raw wounds from his back, body naked, curled up and crying. jimin was the one who first offered him shelter, and eventually a reason for him to redeem. 

taehyung thinks jimin as his light in a place of darkness, and jimin thinks of taehyung as his precious person— kind of similar to how a mother feels for their own child (this could be applied exactly like a master & slave relationship, but not the kind that is harmful at all).

hoseok is a demigod, and he is jimin’s warrior and also protector. his power includes extraordinary agility in physicality. he acts as jimin’s bodyguard and also trains him in his physical competence. 

hoseok knows about taehyung’s origin, and therefore used to grow a great dislike for the latter— taehyung equally as hostile as he behaved like that towards everyone but jimin. though, both of them eased up to each other in the end and they became good friends.

jin, as the seer and philosopher, knew there was something off about taehyung when he first came into the organization, but couldn’t pinpoint what it was. his supernatural insight did not help in the least with the uneasiness, and taehyung became the one to reveal it to him later on (a later story-line).

other stuff:

another age comes another age— in this universe, they have no parents.

the lust towards blood of pure-bloods only happens when the blood is exposed to air.

jin, namjoon, and hoseok are original servants of jimin’s bloodline, therefore they are immune to the desire of pure-bloods. 

as taehyung isn’t a demigod, he only finds the scent of pure-bloods pleasing, with no lust involved.

before the contract with the daemon, jimin’s personality used to be kind, bright and positive. with suga constantly feeding off from his divine energy, his personality turned to a drastic change— his kindness is still there, but he became more sullen, quiet, and aloof.

jungkook senses spiritual tides of humans just by being around them, but for demigods he has to make physical contact for him to sense them.

there is a rivalry going on between jungkook and taehyung.

taehyung doesn’t know this until later on, but the blood of a pure-blooded demigod will eventually help him regain his wings— though it will be regrown to black, as it was ripped off once (like how nails grow black when it was once damaged).

hoseok eventually trains jungkook in his physical abilities too as he takes the role of being jimin’s protector.

jungkook has a deep respect and admiration towards namjoon for his knowledge and wisdom. he always tries to learn new things from him— both in political and general terms.

the terror jimin feels when an over-consummation of his energy is being sucked off is similar to thousands of butterflies buzzing in his head.

there is a common ground between taehyung and suga

jungkook and jimin will eventually have a special relationship (cough i’m a jikook shipper cough)
